As is commonly known, the downfall of any society is closely linked with the accountability of its members.
Here is a brief overview of one case study where a call for a review of conduct has been stonewalled from the highest echelons: Dada Rudrananda and PP Dada Vishvadevananda. Please read the following timelines about how this case of sexual crimes has been repeatedly shut down despite the pleas, petitions, and protests of various margiis and Wts.

Timeline 1: Rudrananda changes his number
- Around 5 or 6 years ago, a concerned margii from England called directly to Dada Rudrananda’s mobile phone and asked Dada Rudrananda if he was going to investigate or take action against the suspect Dada Mantrajapananda for his repeated and long history of characterless behaviour. And what was Rudrananda’s response? Dada Rudrananda shut down the call, changed his mobile phone number, and never gave his new number to anyone except a few of his closest stooges.
- Approximately two years ago, just after SS Dada Siddhesvarananda was transferred from Manila, the new SS Dada who took over, i.e. Dada Krsnakamalananda, was actually the diiksa bhai of Mantrajapananda Dada. In those days also, there were many complaints and charges in Manila sector against Mantrajapananda. Various margiis approached the new SS about this and pressed him on whether he would allow Mantrajapananda to stay in sectorial office or not. So when Dada Mantrajapananda arrived at the sectorial office at 11pm one evening, the new SS Dada Krsnakamalananda was under so much pressure from margiis that he firmly requested Mantrajapananda to leave, and verily at midnight he walked out. But the case never advanced forward from there.
- In December 2024, two Didis went to Centre and gave PP Dada testimony, layers of evidence, and phone recordings etc of Mantrajapananda’s indecent and characterless behaviour in hopes that PP would pick up the ball and order a tribunal investigation and / or take action himself. That attempt also fell on deaf ears and amounted to nothing.

The above timeline demonstrates that there has been long-standing angst about Mantrajapananda’s behaviour. Indeed, there have been numerous and repeated complaints about this for over a decade - not merely the few incidents enlisted above - but nothing concrete was ever done because of the deep pockets of Mantrajapananda. And now we come to more recent events - please continue reading.
Timeline 2: Rudrananda brainwashes PP
- Feb 2025: All 14 didis of Berlin sector entered into SS Berlin sector’s room during RDS and demanded that if he was not going to take action against Mantrajapananda then they (the Didis) were not going to support anything - neither reporting nor RDS etc - there will a strict boycott all programs etc. Then SS Berlin Dada Ragamayananda told those Didis that he conveyed their message to Centre. The Didis replied that, “We have been waiting since long to resolve this issue with Mantrajapananda and still there has been no justice.” They furthermore stated, “Justice delayed is justice denied!”
- March 7 - 9, 2025: At Jamalpur RDS, there was a Central Committee (CC) meeting, and someone raised the issue of how all of the Didis in Berlin sector are revolting etc, and that they do not even want to wear their uniforms because a characterless / debased person, i.e. Mantrajapananda, is on the purodha board. Their demand was that this was against AM ideology and Caryacarya, and that they felt ashamed to wear their uniforms. This all took place in front of the stooge PP Vishvadevananda. PP Dada knew from the outset that Rudrananda was going to protect Mantrajapananda so just to appease those in the meeting the stooge PP gave lip service to their concerns and expressed sympathy about their pleas. Verily, he feigned that his initial reaction was to take steps against Mantrajapananda. And, just for show, PP nodded in approval of those talking about removing Mantrajapananda from the purodha board. Some warned PP that if he does not remove Mantrajapananda then there is the very real threat that many sectors may break away from the Ranchi faction. To this end, they cited Berlin and Manila sectors etc. But all along the stooge PP knew that his job was going to be to support Mantrajapananda because that is what his boss / maker (i.e. Dada Rudrananda) wanted. So, up until this time, PP Dada was merely putting on a show of seriously considering levying punishment on Mantrajapananda.
- March 2025 Meeting: Then PP Vishvadevananda had a meeting with Rudrananda, and the stooge PP shocked everyone as he flip-flopped 180 degrees. But the fact is that the stooge PP was always going to do exactly what Dada Rudrananda wanted. When PP emerged from that meeting he forcefully announced that, “Those margiis and workers in Berlin sector who are opposing Ac Mantrajapananda will not get my blessing.” Such was the degree to which the cowardly PP completely surrendered to Rudrananda on this matter because PP is the stooge of Rudrananda.

Note: All know that the post of Purodha Pramukha is exclusively a social post - completely devoid of spiritual standing - and thus PP Dada has no ability or authority to give blessings. According to the tantra of Ananda Marga, only Taraka Brahma Sadguru Baba graces others with His divine blessing. In contrast, PP Dada is just a normal human being temporarily occupying the social post of Purodha Pramukha. The best he can do is serve Guru in this role; he cannot grant or shower any blessings etc. Just like the president or prime minister of any country can't spiritually bless any citizen.
Timeline 3: Rudrananda & PP protecting Mantrajapananda
- Post March RDS 2025 to April 6, 2025: For the weeks following the Jamalpur RDS, Mantrajapananda lived under the shelter of Rudrananda and PP Dada. Verily, Mantrajapananda was joined at the hip with PP for nearly a month as they toured around India together. So what to speak of PP Dada taking action against Mantrajapananda, rather, by the order of Rudrananda, PP was elevating Mantrajapananda’s status by allowing him to act as his PA etc.
- 06 April 2025: On that first weekend of April, Rudrananda was holding court at the Baba Quarters in New Delhi and keeping his close persons around him: PP Vishvadevananda, Ac Madhuvratananda, and Ac Mantrajapananda. By this way, Mantrajapananda remained virtually impervious to all calls for his dismissal and complaints against his characterless behaviour.
Timeline 4: Berlin & Manila margiis rising up
Late April / Early May 2025: Through a series of calls and group meetings, margiis of Berlin sector, feeling utterly stonewalled by the lack of accountability or action in the characterless dealings of Mantrajapananda, decided to ban all central workers from their upcoming summer retreat(s) in June / July. This has been a retreat that Dada Rudrananda has attended regularly over the years in order to collect money and consolidate power etc. However, he has been categorically informed that his presence is not welcome this year, primarily due to his ongoing cover-ups of and 100% protection of Mantrajapananda.

Late April / May 2025: Of late, Mantrajapananda has been roaming around his old stomping grounds in Manila sector, but the margiis there have not taken to his presence there. Actually, he tried to enter the jagrti in Manila itself but his attempt at entry was blocked by margiis who told him he couldn't come in. Dada said that he was fully entitled to enter as he was an acarya etc, but a margii lawyer onsite informed Mantrajapananda that according to the AM constitution in the Philippines, the margiis control who can enter the jagrti premises. So Mantrajapananda was kept out.
Timeline 5: Hong Kong sector margiis make statement
- 30 May 2025: Awareness of Mantrajapananda’s misdeeds has spread throughout much of HK sector, culminating in a demand for action by the margiis of Hsinchu Unit (Taiwan). Here below is an excerpt from their dharmic and well-crafted letter:
We, the Margiis of Hsinchu Unit, are writing to express our deep concern and collective anguish over the serious allegations of sexual assault involving Mantrajapananda. This case has now become widely known across the globe, casting a shadow on the reputation of our organization, Ananda Marga, which was founded upon the highest ideals of morality and spiritual discipline.
Despite the gravity of these accusations, it is disheartening to witness that no clear disciplinary action has been taken by the Central Administration. Even more disturbing is the fact that Mantrajapananda has been appointed to the Purodha Board—the very body responsible for upholding and exemplifying dharma within our organization. Thus, there is tremendous concern by margiis in numerous sectors that there be proper review of Mantrajapananda’s dealings. Yet, all along, it has been Dada Rudrananda who has put a muzzle on margiis’ voices and shut down all calls for inquiries as he (Rudrananda) is keen to protect his stooge (Mantrajapananda) -- all because of Mantrajapananda’s deep pockets.

Conclusion
Ananda Marga ideology states, “Today there is catastrophe and misery in human society and there is one reason: the defective leadership of society.” (1)
Sadly, the problem that ails the present human society also ails our AMPS: defective leadership. And that is exactly what is at play with the Mantrajapananda sexual crimes case. Sadhakas across the globe are keen to see this issue addressed and resolved. But the key person at the helm, i.e. Dada Rudrananda, is using his stooge PP to stonewall and shut down any attempts at redress. This allows the problems to linger and fester and leads to low morale and dissension.
In contrast, a healthy society or a well-run organisation has both a justice system as well as a system of checks and balances that works properly. But, unfortunately, in the present day AMPS, every step of these systems is corrupt, outdated, and controlled by stooges and yes men. This is the unfortunate state of AMPS.

Unfortunately, at present, all such channels and processes in AMPS are completely defunct and inoperable. This is the outcome when the leaders themselves are involved in the cover-up. And that is exactly what is in vogue regarding the sexual crimes case of Mantrajapananda. There is a mountain of evidence, including personal testimony, that wrongs have been committed, but it is all being shut down and swept under the rug by Dada Rudrananda and PP Dada Vishvadevananda, the puppet of Rudrananda. This type of defective leadership is intentionally using AMPS for their personal, material gain.

Appendix I: Mantrajapananda history
Mantrajapananda has a decades-long track record of characterless activity. As many may know, Dada ji was the head trainer at the Davao (Manila) Wholetimer Training Centre. In this role, Dada wielded huge influence and power, as his was the deciding voice and he had great financial resources whereby he gained the undying support of Rudrananda / Centre (India). Completely untethered, Mantrajapananda was free to groom and pet trainees as per his wish. In particular, there was one sister trainee from England whom Mantrajapananda kept as his own - both throughout her stay at TC and thereafter when Mantrajapananda requested Centre to post her in nearby Vietnam so he could conveniently continue his dalliances with her. Ultimately, after years of forced servitude, she came to understand that she had been groomed and exploited, and she brought her story forward.

Here are two photos of the Didi who was victimised by Mantrajapananda. This first photo is from 2022. Didi ji is young enough to be Mantrajapananda’s daughter - so that makes the case particularly unnerving and repugnant. Sadly, Mantrajapananda is an unqualified trainer, unqualified avadhuta, and unqualified purodha. In an ideal scenario, Mantrajapananda’s duty was to look upon all trainees as youths with the potential to become great dharmikas, as the valiant sons and daughters of Parama Purusa, whereby Dada ji’s only duty was to prepare them for a life of real service and selfless sacrifice. Sadly, Dada succumbed to his lustful desires, and the situation became what it became. At the same time, it should be borne in mind this was not an isolated case for Dada ji. Rather, over the years, Dada has been linked with upwards of 20 or 30 female victims. But nearly all have been too terrified to speak out because Mantrajapananda has the unwavering support and backing of Dada Rudrananda and his stooge PP Dada Vishvadevananda. As a last resort, the victim must communicate with local police and get such demons in monk’s dress put in jail.
