Animalistic lifestyle + 4 more

Baba

Animalistic lifestyle

Namaskar,

Ananda Marga Caryacarya states, "If the boy and the girl settle their marriage themselves, it is proper for the guardians to give their consent." (1)

In the above teaching Baba only approves marriage between a boy and girl. Baba does not appreciate that humans should marry cats and dogs etc. Humans should not follow a LGBT lifestyle.

Ananda Marga philosophy states, "In the manner prescribed for marriage in our Marga, both the boy and the girl have to take equal responsibility." (2)

These above two quotes debunk the false gay propaganda that Baba never said which gender one should marry. See above - it is obvious that only boys and girls can marry one another.

Those new to Ananda marga may not know Baba’s teaching that marriage is between different genders not the same. Margiis are not like animals in human form but far evolved beings - devas. Here is Baba’s teaching on this issue of gay and lesbian relations,  and what constitutes a marital bond in our Ananda Marga.
http://anandamarganewsbulletin.blogspot.com

According to Guru, marriage must be between members of the opposite sex (i.e. heterosexual union) and not members of the same sex (i.e. homosexual union). The husband must be a male and the wife must be a female. Whereas in same-sex relations either the husband is a female or the wife is a male.

Mundane fancies never bring lasting happiness

Ananda Marga Caryacarya states, "An animal life is given to carnal pleasure human life is for sádhaná." (3)

Ananda Marga ideology guides us, "Human life is for spiritual sádhaná only. There is not, there cannot be, any other motive; there cannot be any other intention; there cannot be any other desideratum." (4)

Ananda Marga ideology guides us, "From time immemorial, since the advent of human life, they have been on a quest for eternal happiness. This quest has taught them that mundane pleasures – good food, comfortable accommodation, etc. – will never last long. A person who loves rasagollas may get some pleasure when a rasagolla is first placed in the mouth but will get nothing once it is swallowed. Rasagollas are finite: their taste will not stay long on the tongue. What is the source of permanent happiness? Only that object which is itself unlimited can provide unlimited and permanent happiness to human beings." (5)

Some details of anorectal problems among male homosexuals

The internal anal sphincter (an involuntary muscle) does not look favorably upon foreign objects attempting to enter the rectum. This muscle relaxes during defecation, but remains in a contracted state otherwise, which seals the anal opening.

For a period following receptive anal sex, the internal anal sphincter is stretched and is unable to contract strongly, thereby failing to completely seal the anal opening until the muscle regains its original tone. Repetitive anal sex, especially with large organ or rectal insertions of large objects may damage the internal anal sphincter, thereby preventing complete sealing of the anus, and leading to fecal mucus seepage (anal or fecal incontinence). Additionally, anal sex exacerbates fecal seepage by stimulating colonic motility, which sends feces from the colon down into the lower rectum.

The soiling of clothes from fecal seepage is a problem for many homosexuals. Goldstone mentioned a study where 25% of homosexuals that practiced anoreceptive intercourse and 50% of AIDS-afflicted homosexuals had anal incontinence compared to a 3% rate among heterosexual men. Miles et al. compared 40 male homosexuals (all practiced anoreceptive sex) with 18 male heterosexuals. Only one heterosexual but 14 (35%) homosexuals had frequent anal incontinence.

To avoid soiling of clothes, homosexuals with mild problems are advised to use a menstrual-type pad in the back of their underwear to absorb moisture and waste. Homosexuals with big buttocks require a fluffed-up cotton ball placed against the anal opening, together with a pad to help absorb moisture throughout the day. Medical advice for homosexuals with persistent soiling includes rectal wash-outs to remove residual feces from the anal canal after bowel movements. This involves inserting an ear syringe into the rectum that is filled with warm water and coated with a water-soluble lubricant. Squeezing the syringe gently and repeatedly helps wash out any residual feces from the anal canal

Frequent, especially prolonged anal sex often leaves tiny tears (anal fissures) around the anal opening. This prompts the internal anal sphincter to contract strongly, and makes it difficult for homosexuals to engage in receptive anal sex. To deal with anal fissures, homosexuals use butt plugs, which also effectively seal the anus.

Gay bowel syndrome refers to some combination of intestinal or anorectal infection/trauma among male homosexuals. Homosexuals do not like this phrase,
this phrase was coined by some physicians in response to a “clinical pattern of anorectal and colon diseases encountered with unusual frequency” in homosexual men in New York City in 1976. These authors noted that in a sample of 260 homosexual men, “The clinical diagnoses in decreasing order of frequency include condyloma acuminata, hemorrhoids, nonspecific proctitis, anal fistula, perirectal abscess, anal fissure, amebiasis, benign polyps, viral hepatitis, gonorrhea, syphilis, anorectal trauma and foreign bodies, shigellosis, rectal ulcers and lymphogranuloma venereum.”

Spirituality alone brings eternal bliss

Ananda Marga philosophy states, "The Cosmic Entity alone is infinite and eternal. It alone is limitless. And the eternal longing of human beings for happiness can only be satiated by realization of the Infinite. The ephemeral nature of worldly possessions, power and position can only lead one to the conclusion that none of the things of the finite and limited world can set at rest the everlasting urge for happiness. Their acquisition merely gives rise to further longing. Only realization of the Infinite can do it. The Infinite can be only one, and that is the Cosmic Entity. Hence it is only the Cosmic Entity that can provide everlasting happiness." (6)

As all know, in Ananda Marga, life means movement along the divine path - the path of bliss. Our unique philosophy stands on this blessed sutra:

A'tmamoks'a'rtham' jagaddhita'ya ca

So in our Marga and in our social framework, each and every aspect of life revolves around this special ideal. How we eat, how we sing, how we work, how we pass our days etc. Each and every action is infused with this spirit self-realisation and service to humanity, including our approach to marriage and family life. Because our Ananda Marga way of life moves ahead on this grand mission of spiritual attainment and social welfare.

Animal sex, drugs, prostitution, alcohol,
& meat-eating is not AM way of life

And if one does not hold onto this way of life then they are not an Ananda Margii. Being an Ananda Margii means living according to a particular code of conduct. If someone is eating meat and smoking then we cannot call that person an Ananda Margii. Similarly, if one is indulging in animal sex, they are not an Ananda Margii as their behavior contravenes our stated code of conduct.

The US Supreme Court and other institutions are giving credence and status to homosexuality and gay marriage. As Ananda Margiis, we have to think: Do we follow the ways of the courts, the various religions, or the different countries? As we know, in our Ananda Marga, we have our view based on Sadguru's divine guidelines. That alone is our ideological perspective and way of life.

AM does not follow dirty trends of the general society

Ananda Marga does not follow the below-listed the accepted norms that are approved by other countries or made legal by the courts. For instance, the US courts have legalised:

(a) Alcoholic beverages for persons aged 21 years of age;
(b) The wanton killing and butchering of animals;
(c) Unlimited sexual partners for consensual relationships;
(d) Gambling in specific areas;
(e) Creating and watching pornography;
(f) Adult dance clubs with strippers;
(g) Smoking, hunting, butchering animals, marijuana, eating meat, bugs, nude beaches, blue flims, pornography  etc.

Verily there is a long list of things that the courts and governments have approved that are completely off-limits in Ananda Marga. So if anyone wishes to do those activities then they are not an Ananda Margii - we do not base our ways of doing on court decisions.

How gay & prostitutes are animals

Our path is the path of bliss - Ananda Marga - based on Sadguru Shrii Shrii Anandamurtiji's teachings. Those who have any interest in the aforementioned activities Ananda Marga is the wrong place for them. And same is the case with homosexuality and gay marriage. AM does not subscribe to the trends of society, rather we always adhere to bhagavad dhara. Those who follow bhagavad dharma are Ananda Margiis those animal dharma like gay or prostitution are animals.

So again we should remind ourselves that membership in Ananda Marga is not based on birth, but rather conduct. Donating money or paying tithes also does not make one an Ananda Margii; the only way to be an Ananda Margii is by one's day to day dealing. If one cannot follow the conduct of our Ananda Marga spiritual way of life then they are not a margii.

But it does not mean that those who cannot or do not follow are not our brothers and sisters. We love everyone - all humans irrespective of animals or human or any other creatures. We love everyone: Diseased persons, healthy persons, serial killers, and sex addicts - all human beings, as well as all kinds of animals and plants. We love all as they are the progeny of Parama Purusa. Parama Purusa loves all but that does not mean that all are Ananda Margiis. To be an Ananda Margii, one must follow the code of conduct. There is no other way.

Conclusion

There are many mucky things approved in the general society like pornography, prostitution, smoking, drinking, drugs, strip clubs, co-habitation without marriage, producing children out of wedlock etc. But Ananda Marga philosophy does not condone those degrading activities. If someone does those acts and does not want to give them up, and they want to be treated and respected like a bonafide margii or want to become a bhukti pradhan, then it is obvious that they will not be allowed.
http://anandamarganewsbulletin.blogspot.com

In the general society such a disciplinary rule exists. For example, if you want to work in a school as a teacher, and at the same time you want to follow the lifestyle of a child molester, then the school will kick you out. And if you want to work as a policeman but wish to continue your ways of thievery, then you will be kicked out of the police department.

Likewise in Ananda Marga, there is a certain code of discipline. Those whose goal is carnal pleasures, i.e. gay, lesbian, animal sex etc, are on the wrong path because by their psychic ailments they will harm others. Those who follow the code of discipline and spiritual way of life will get real benefit from the path of Ananda Marga, otherwise they will waste their time and harm other margiis with their polluted and diseased mind.

In Him,
Maitri
Mary Williams

The Ananda Marga approach to life is basically spiritual: to get bliss by running after Parama Purusa, the Divine Entity. Our Ananda Marga does not condone running after sex. Sex is only for procreation; harbouring such lust in hopes of getting lasting happiness is self-deception. While, in the debased, capitalistic society, sex has become the way of life. That is the overriding emphasis in life and society: sexual appeal, sexual relations, sexual looks, and sexual dealings. People rake in huge profits off of sex; and, one's self-image is based primarily on sexual allurement, especially women. Because the misguided idea reigns that the ultimate satisfaction in life is achieved by sex - not through any other way. In the materialistic approach, they do not believe there is anything higher than sex. But in Ananda Marga, spirituality is everything. That is the greatest endeavor and summum bonum of  life. So Ananda Marga condemns  the materialistic manner of trying to get lasting pleasure from sexual dealings. That is but a mirage and leads one down the wrong path.

So sex is one of the main forces in materialistic life. This is evidenced by nearly every image in the society: on the billboards, on the TV, in the movies, in social relations, and in all the ways sex has taken hold of every aspect of life. Such are the degraded and lowly ways of materialistic life. Although human desires are infinite, due to a lack of spirituality, in the materialistic societies they try to satisfy their human longing through sex.

~ In-depth study ~

Ananda Marga philosophy, “The objects of earthly enjoyment are created under the influence of the static principle of Prakrti, and one regards them as real due to the dominance of Avidyámáyá, which also makes people enjoy these earthly objects. Intuitional practice gradually reduces the dominance of Avidyámáyá, and then the mind is also diverted towards subtle things. Crude worldly pleasures and enjoyments lose their attraction. The longing for worldly objects (káma), the attraction for them (moha), and avarice (lobha) – the three principles of Avidyámáyá – make these seem desirable, but with the waning of the influence of these three, the mind will no longer desire them. Ordinarily the mind delights in the enjoyment of worldly pleasures and regards giving them up a torture, but when the mind no longer likes them, the question of giving them up does not arise.” (7)

This life is for Parama Purusa

This life is for Him,
This mind is for Him,
This soul is for Him.

His universe we will serve
In coordinating team.

Light belongs to Him,
Night belongs to Him,
Might belongs to Him.

Undaunted in smiling face
His grace we will sing. (Prabhat Samgiita #5009)

Yogii must have self-control

Ananda Marga ideology guides us, Vashiikára-siddhi is only possible for those sádhakas who follow the principles of yama and niyama and perform Brahma sádhaná. Those who do not, do immeasurable harm to themselves and the entire world by the strength of their kśipta, mudha and vikśipta samádhis having attained some degree of control over their organs through the process of yoga sádhaná. In the absence of the sádhaná of self-control they use their mental power for the petty selfish ends. After practicing yoga or Tantra sádhaná for a while these immoral individuals begin to harm others for the sake of their own petty egoistic aggrandizement, and eventually end up in the blind alley of inertness. So I entreat you to follow the right path. The same yoga of self-control which is so beneficial for both individuals and the collectivity, is so dangerous when it is devoid of morality. So everyone must be strict in following the principles of yama and niyama.” (8)

Ananda Marga ideology guides us, “To attain Tantric power one has to practise both external and internal sádhaná – has to stage a fight of both kinds. As a part of the external fight one has to apply a vigorous force or control over his or her worldly conduct and expression, while in the internal fight one has to arouse and to take up his or her kulakuńd́alinii against one’s crude thought with all the strength of one’s intuition.” (9)

Sex is main thing in materialism

In Ananda Marga, life is bound up in discipline. It starts with strict control of the organs. That is the basic entry gate into Ananda Marga.

Ananda Marga ideology states, "Cakśuńá Sam'varo Sádhu” O spiritual aspirant! O Bhikśu! O monk! O devotee! You should have proper control over your eyes; whatever will have bad effect on your mind, you must not see it. “Sádhu Sotena sam'varo”. Whatever will have bad effect on your mind, O good man, you must not hear it. “Ghánena Sam'varo Sádhu.” You should have control over your nose, “Sádhu Jibháya Sam'varo.” You should have control over your taste. “Káyena Sam'varo Sádhu.” You should have control over your body. “Sádhu Vácáya Sam'varo.” You should have control over your language also; and “Savvatha Sam'varo Bhikśu.” If you want emancipation, if you want liberation from worldly fetters, you must have all-round restraint." (10)

No same-sex marriage

Ananda Marga Caryacarya states, "If the boy and the girl settle their marriage themselves, it is proper for the guardians to give their consent." (11)

In the above teaching Baba only approves that marriage should be between a boy and a girl. Baba does not appreciate that humans should marry cats and dogs etc. Humans should not follow a LGBT lifestyle.

Ananda Marga philosophy states, "In the manner prescribed for marriage in our Marga, both the boy and the girl have to take equal responsibility." (12)

Ananda Marga Caryacarya states, "Male members of the Marga can marry females outside the Marga, but it will be better to marry a female member of the Marga to a male member of the Marga, as far as possible. If a suitable match is available outside the Marga, the marriage may be solemnized, but efforts should be made to initiate him into the Marga without delay." (13)

These above teachings are provided to debunk the false gay propaganda that Baba never said which gender one should marry. See above, it is obvious that only boys and girls can marry one another.

You are ever-present

"Tomáke cine ot́há dáy, otah prota bháve thákileo, dhará náhi jáy..." (Prabhat Samgiita #3291)

Purport:

My Parama Purusa, it is so hard to realize You. You are ever-present and connected with me all through Your ota and prota yoga. Even then it is very difficult to get You. Because avidya maya tries to pull me back. You can’t be held easily.

My Supreme Entity, You are omnipresent in both the refulgence and darkness. You are everywhere, but You are hiding and can’t be seen. Bathed in the fragrance of the mental garden or orchard, in my mind You are ever-present, enthralled in melodies, rhythms, and beats of kiirtana, along the shore of my spiritual life. You are always emanating Yourself in various expressions of this universe around me, yet remain beyond the reach of my mind. One can only attain You with Your grace.

Baba, according to Your sweet will, You make others laugh and cry. Everything happens according to Your desire. As the Supreme Controller, You make them float in Your divine ideation, across the vast blue cosmic sky. In Your unknowable play, You make everyone dance or cry as per Your wish and direction. Nobody can understand Your liila…

Note for Prabhat Samgiita #3291:

What is ota-prota yoga - 1

[1] Ota-Prota Yoga: By way of analogy we can best understand this term. Suppose a mother has five children. When she loves any one of them individually then that is akin to her ota yoga relation with that particular child. She has this type of ota yoga relation with each and every one of her children on a personal, individual level. In contrast, when that same mother loves and cares for her five children all together as a whole, collective family then that is akin to prota yoga.

Similarly, Parama Purusa has an individual loving relation with every bhakta on a personal, individual level. Whatever that bhakta thinks and says then Parama Purusa lovingly listens and cares for that bhakta. So that is the very personal relation of ota yoga. And when He thinks about the entire creation and the welfare of all at the same time, then that connection is prota yoga.

In their own personal life, every bhakta should appreciate Parama Purusa’s relation as ota yoga - i.e. a very intimate, personal link; whereas, lower grade bhaktas relate more to Parama Purusa via His approach of prota yoga.

In Subhasita Samgraha part 17 (Gwalior DMC in 1984), Baba has given the meaning of ota yoga and prota yoga in English. Ota yoga is "individual tactuality" between Parama Purusa and the unit entity; and, prota yoga is "collective tactuality" between Parama Purusa and all the entities, simultaneously.

The above definition describes the intimate relation between Parama Purusa and His jiivas through His ota & prota yoga. This same term has been explained in a slightly different manner in the following discourse.

Ananda Marga ideology says, "What is ota-yoga? He as the Cosmic Father has a direct relationship with each and every entity of this world...All are His affectionate children. This is His ota-yoga. Each and every entity, animate or inanimate, has a direct link with Him. Just as ota yoga means the Cosmic Father's relationship with each entity individually, prota yoga means His relationship with all collectively." (1)

What is ota-prota yoga - 2

Otahprotah yogábhyáḿ saḿyuktah Puruśottamah.

[Puruśottama is linked to each entity individually and to all entities collectively.]

Ananda Sutram Purport: Puruśottama, the Nucleus of the universe, is the witness of and is directly concerned with every unit entity. This association of His is called ota yoga [the yoga of individual association]. Evidently Puruśottama is the collective entity of the universe as well as witness of the collective mind. This association of His with the collectivity is called prota yoga [the yoga of pervasive association]. In other words, it may be said that the one who is associated with His objects through both ota and prota yogas at the same time is Puruśottama. (2)

Ananda Marga ideology says, “Suppose there is a virtuous discussion going on somewhere. If you invite two hundred people to this discussion, you will find that only sixty invitees have turned up, at the most. Out of these participants about ten or twelve people at most listen with patience and bhakti to the talks; and out of these listeners, only some properly understand the subject discussed. Then again, out of this small group that has understood, only a very few may retain in their minds what they have understood. Lastly, only one or two persons of this last group may practice in their daily lives what they have learnt and understood. This is only due to the clash between vidyá and avidyá in the mind, and in this clash the triumph of avidyá or the extroversive force means running from the introversive bent of vidyá. It is because of the saḿskaras of animality that the introversive momentum is rare in the average human mind. The sensuous desires of avidyá continue to infiltrate into every thought process. Such a situation continues for a long time in a sádhaka’s life.” (3)

क्या है--ओतयोग और प्रोतयोग, individual tactuality and collective tactuality

What ota prota yoga

EGD 21 March 1984 Gwalior)

[2] Razor’s edge: Ananda Marga ideology guides us, “Wherever there is devotion, there is Paramátmá. For jiṋániis (those who want to realize God only with intellect) and logicians, the path of Dharma is a razor’s path, but, for sádhakas (spiritual practitioners), it is like a flower. Since God is attainable only by devotion, therefore He is with you. Victory will certainly be yours.” (Ananda Vacanamrtam 1 - Uttiśt́hata Jágrata . . .)

Exquisite future

Ananda Marga philosophy says, "As life becomes increasingly easy, there will be greater opportunities for intellectual pursuits. A day will come when there will be hardly any need for human beings to work. This may sound strange today and perhaps we might not like to hear such a thing, but that day will surely come. Physicality will be transformed into more and more intellectuality, and intellectuality will be transformed into the culminating point of spirituality." (1)

Leaving everything else behind

Ananda Marga philosophy guides us, “When one suddenly finds any jewel - any rare and costly jewel - then immediately they pick it up and keep it close to their breast - leaving everything else behind, forgetting all other things, not even caring about their prestige. As far as possible one then keeps it hidden from others. Among all the jewels, the most precious is Parama Purusa." (1)
