Delirium of Dada Vandanananda

Namaskar,
Recently Dada Vandanananda made a peculiar proclamation on one of the public forums. Dada’s statement is even more confounding given that he himself is an avadhuta. Before seeing exactly what Dada Vandanananda wrote, let us examine Guru’s teachings.

For a sannyásii (renunciant) it is imperative to fast

Here below is a directive given by Sadguru Baba in Caryacarya. Pay particular attention to the term highlighted in yellow - i.e. sannyasii.

Ananda Marga philosophy states, “It is imperative to fast without water on ekádashii (eleventh day after full moon and new moon). In addition, if desired, a fast can be observed on two more days of the month, namely púrńimá (full moon) and amávasyá (new moon). For a sannyásii (renunciant) it is imperative to fast invariably on both ekádashiis, púrńimá and amávasyá.” (1)

There are a few takeaways from the above teaching:

#1: Baba is directly addressing Ananda Margiis - i.e. family margiis and Wts - because the above guideline is from Caryacarya. Thus Baba is not addressing any other other community of people, i.e. non-margiis. He is talking to Ananda Margiis.

#2: In His guideline, Baba uses the term “sannyasii” whereby he is referring to all our wholetimer workers, i.e. avadhutas, avadhutikas etc.

#3: So the above guideline is proof that there are sannyasis in our Ananda Marga, and those sannyasis are our avadhutas and avadhutikas etc.

Ignorance of Dada Vandanananda

Now let us take a look at what Dada Vandanananda wrote the other day on the public forum.

Vandanananda wrote:  “Avadhutas and Avadhutikas are not Sanyasis.”

Thus Dadaji is proclaiming that our Wts - our avadhutas and avadhutikas - are not sannyasis.

>From his statement, even a simple child can understand that Vandanananda is confused. Sadguru Baba is clearly indicating in Caryacarya that there are sannyasis in our Ananda Marga and those sannyasis are our wholetime workers,  i.e. avadhutas, avadhutikas etc.  And on the opposite side, Vandanananda writes: “Avadhutas and Avadhutikas are not Sanyasis.”

Clearly Dada Vandanananda is not aware about our Ananda Marga teachings. And what makes the matter more dramatic is that he himself is an avadhuta. Indeed, he has been an avadhuta for years and years yet he is completely unaware that he is a sannyasii. Thus he has taken a great vow in his life yet he is not even aware about the very nature of his own existence. If it weren’t such a flagrant and sizeable blind spot, it would be quite laughable.

And now Dadaji is giving a public discourse on this matter - as if he is an expert on such affairs.

All that can be said furthermore is this.

Sadguru Baba says, “If one tries to interpret a profound scripture with superficial knowledge, the interpreter appears ridiculous.” (2)

And indeed that is what has happened here. Dada Vandanananda looks ridiculous.

in Him,
Shanti

Note 1: Here again is the section from Caryacarya part 3 where the term sannyasi has been mentioned. By the below section it is crystal-clear Sadguru Baba is directly addressing all Ananda Margiis and He is using the term sannyásii to specifically refer to our Wt cadre, i.e. avadhutas and avadhutikas etc.

“It is imperative to fast without water on ekádashii (eleventh day after full moon and new moon). In addition, if desired, a fast can be observed on two more days of the month, namely púrńimá (full moon) and amávasyá (new moon). For a sannyásii (renunciant) it is imperative to fast invariably on both ekádashiis, púrńimá and amávasyá.” (3)

Dear All

Avadhuta and Avdhutikas are not Sanyasis .
They are Kapalikas and committed to Guru's mission.

Re: Prout: which language is the best?

Namaskar,

I refer to the issue on language, particularly the lingua franca of the world.

During a Field Walk in Lumpini Park in Bangkok, Thailand in 1979, I raised the issue of the World Language with Baba. Among other things, I asked Baba if He would create a World Language in the future. I was then graced with the opportunity to serve as His bodyguard.

After a few steps, He stopped walking and turned to me. He explained that at present English served as the lingua franca of the world. He also said that people tried to create a new lingua franca but failed.

Then, He said that a new lingua franca would evolve in time, replacing the present lingua franca. He also intimated the fundamental sounds that would form the basis of the new World Language and the reasons for the fundamental sounds. He made several sounds. I cannot remember the sounds or the reasons why those fundamental sounds would form the basis of the coming World Language.

He finished by saying that He was currently very busy and that if He had the time He would do something about it.

On hindsight, at least for the benefit of language research and accuracy, I should have carried a voice recorder to record Baba's messages during the Field Walk. Sadly, that was not the case. I have to be content with only the snatches of information I can recall of this subject.

Knowing oneself is the real knowledge - Ananda Vanii #25

“Knowing oneself is the real knowledge; serving all with the ideation of Náráyańa, the real action, and the vow to please Parama Puruśa the real devotion.”

Note: The above is one of Baba’s original Ananda Vaniis. These original and true Ananda Vaniis are unique, eternal guidelines that stand as complete discourses in and of themselves. They are unlike Fake Ananda Vaniis which are fabricated by most of the groups - H, B etc.

Example: Fake things in Ananda Vacanamrtam

Note: This is the second letter in this series. A link to the initial letter has been appended below.

Namaskar,
Here in this letter we examine the extreme degree to which Tiljala Publications drastically ruined Guru’s published discourse - The Primordial Cause.

English Discourse Stolen & Covered Up As Bangla

Here are a few points from the first letter as a review:

* Baba originally delivered the discourse, Parama Puruśa – the Primordial Cause, in English on 12 April 1979, Kolkata. But our Tiljala publishers have declared that Baba spoke in Bangla. That is a lie.

* FACT: This discourse, Parama Puruśa – the Primordial Cause, was given by Baba in English. Our Tiljala dadas translated this discourse from the original English into Bengali and from Bengali to English and then published that needlessly double-translated English version in the English book, Ananda Vacanamrtam Part 9-10, chapter 19, p.117. And the consequences of this are not good.

* In the ideal scenario, the original English discourse would have been directly transcribed and published in the English book. There was no need for any translation in order to publish the English version. Due to the of Bangalisation this original English discourse has been ruined due to unnecessary double re-translation etc.

The above points establish the fact that Baba delivered the discourse - The Primordial Cause - in English, but Tiljala publishers labeled it as a Bengali discourse. Next we will witness first-hand the extent to which our Tiljala Dadas have destroyed Guru’s original discourse.

You are not reading Guru’s words
Just random stream of English done by publishers

So our Tiljala Dadas printed and published English discourse - and as you are going to see the book they made does not match up with Baba’s original English which Baba Himself spoke. The outcome is that instead of reading Baba’s original words, readers are reading an endless stream of concocted sentences that were translated from Bengali. That is the irony.

Now here in an easy, step-by-step sequence you can see for yourself how our Tiljala Dada published a complete ruination  of what Guru actually spoke.

Step 1: Visit our blogsite and find the sound file in the lower left column. Just scroll all the way down along the left side of the page. The file name is: Parama Puruśa – the Primordial Cause

Step 2: Open the English book – Ananda Vacanamrtam Part 9-10, chapter 19, p.117, and skip to step 4. If you do not have a copy of the English edition of this book that is not a problem, simply continue to step 3.

Step 3: Click here to view a copy of the printed English discourse as published by the Tiljala publishers. Or write us and we can send you an electronic version of the discourse. Also, for your easy reference, we have appended the first paragraph of the printed discourse at the very bottom of this email in Note 1.

Step 4: Now that you have the printed English version in front of you, click “play” on the sound file.

Step 5: Compare Baba’s spoken words with the printed English discourse.

After following the above steps, you have surely seen how the English version published by our Tiljala Publishers does not match up with what Baba actually spoke. Rather Tiljala Dadas veered way off course. What Tiljala Dadas published is a bogus representation of Guru’s actual words.

Display of Outrageous Hypocrisy

Yet, to befool others, Tiljala dadas try to portray how precisely and expertly the book was made. Tiljala publishers wrote:

“Ideally every new book translation undergoes initially a draft by the main translator, then “first editing”, then “second editing”, then final verification. Other important functions include coordination of the different steps.” (Ananda Vacanamrtam 9-10, Publisher's Note, p. xvii)

Seeing this most every naive reader will be duped into thinking that really Tiljala dadas did a great job. Such is the extent of the deceptiveness, duplicity, and hypocrisy of these publishers. Tiljala dadas write high-sounding words detailing the glory of their work, yet it is all fake. Our Tiljala dadas took no such steps to ensure the accuracy of their so-called work. You yourself have witnessed proof of this first hand. So what Tijala Dadas professed in their Publisher’s Note is just hot air – pure hypocrisy.

Our Tiljala dadas do not want that you should know the truth of the matter so such Publishers will try and dissuade you from downloading the sound file and checking it with their published materials. But do not be side-tracked by such hearsay. Your Guru's discourse are being stolen, one after another, before your very eyes. How long will you tolerate this and remain quiet.

Namaskar,
In Him,
Sulekha Ganguly

In this letter, the phrase “our Tiljala Dadas” means the Kolkata Publications Dept which is controlled by Dada Sarvatmananda. The feeling is that are all part of our family so the phrase “our Tilala publishers etc” has been used. But here “our” does not mean that we have published these books.

Note 1: First paragraph of the concerned discourse - The Primordial Cause

This is wrongly printed in Ananda Vacanamrtam Part 9-10, chapter 19

For your easy reference here is the opening paragraph of this printed discourse and you will see that it does not match up with the original discourse as spoken by Sadguru Baba:

The omniscient Supreme Entity is avarńa – beyond colours. Parama Puruśa does everything. Eko avarńo bahudhá shakti yogád – bahudhá means that which is divided into many or innumerable parts. That singular Entity does not have any colour. He transcends all fetters and bondages. He is the causal matrix of the manifold entities. He is the nucleus and very source of the various expressions, vibrations, colours and shades of light. He has been creating everything through that power of His to create multiplicity, or that propensity of His to create manifold bondages, that is known as Prákrta shakti or Prákrta Máyá. Whenever Parama Puruśa (that singular Entity) creates anything with the help of Prakrti, He does it by His power to create illusion (Máyáshakti). He accomplishes all work by the dexterity of Prakrti, by the power to create illusion. What does the word ́dexterity’ mean? Dexterity also means “plasticity”. Plasticity means a substance out of which many things have been created. It means that out of one entity many more entities can be created. It is the potentiality to create manifold entities. Bahudhá shakti jogád. Many things are created, many entities are born. This creative essence of Parama Puruśa is termed as Prakrti in Sanskrit. When this creative essence is engaged in the act of creation, it is called Máyá. Bahudhá shakti yogát, varńánanekán nihitártho dadháti – through the power of Prakrti or Máyá, Parama Puruśa has created variegated colours and continues to create them. (Parama Puruśa – the Primordial Cause, Ananda Vacanamrtam Part 9-10, chapter 19, paragraph 1)

The section below demarcated by asterisks is an entirely different topic,
completely unrelated to the above material. It stands on its own as a point of interest.

**********************************************
Why everybody can't become millionaire

“Society will have to encourage the individual search for absolute freedom because the psychic and spiritual realms are unlimited, and possession in these spheres does not hinder the progress of others. But unrestricted freedom to acquire wealth in the physical sphere has every possibility of permitting a few people to roll in luxury while hampering the all-round growth of the majority, because physical resources are limited. Individual liberty in the physical sphere must not be allowed to hamper the development of the complete human personality, and at the same time it must not be so drastically curtailed that the all-round growth of society is impeded.”

“Freedom is a right of every human being. To encourage comprehensive, unbarred human expression in the different spheres of social life a congenial socio-economic environment has to be created, because as such an environment does not exist today.” (1)

Health concerns of Wts

Baba

This email contains two sections:
1. Beg Quote: Health concerns of Wts
2. Links

Health concerns of Wts

Note: This letter is not for those who don't have concern for our Wts.

Namaskar,

Sadguru Baba says, “In the world today a handful of people who do no physical work, but live by their wits, have appropriated to themselves most of the wealth of humanity, so they are able to buy comparatively expensive foods, and use them to satisfy their taste buds. As a result, they, on the one hand, swell with unnecessary fat, while, on the other hand, those people doing hard manual labour are forced to live in poverty and deprived of the ghee, butter and sweets they need to maintain their bodies...So my point is that obesity is primarily a disease of well-off, non-labouring society.” (1)

overweight Didi

morbidly obese / overweight Didi

High-salaried office workers, rich businessmen and parasitic politicians are those who suffer most from obesity…. Another distinguishing mark of such people is that they are most greedy for those foods which are most fattening; that is, when invited outside, they will never even by mistake eat much in the way of vegetable preparations – instead they will eat a lot of luci, fish, meat and sweets. As they grow older and their livers become weak, they will lose that voracious appetite. Then they will sorrowfully say to people that they cannot consume food as they used to. Their muscles become flaccid and they begin to suffer from acidity, constipation or intestinal troubles. Fat accumulated on the chest affects the heart and lungs and makes it difficult for these organs to function.” (2)

Suffering from high blood pressure, high cholesterol, heart disease, & diabetes etc

Sadly, the problem of obesity is prevalent amongst our Wts as well.

Here above this morbidly overweight Didi is far too large to properly teach asanas to others. Our yogic nuns should be an example to society for how to lead a healthy life. And kaoshikii and asanas are a vital component of human health. But when people see grossly overweight Didis - like the one pictured above - they think ours could not possibly be the proper path. Because a yogic nun should represent the ideals of yoga.

And it is true that, conservatively speaking, 90% of our Wts Didis are not regular in asanas and 60% do not fast. And verily that is the problem. In our organisation so many WT Didis are suffering from high blood pressure and cholesterol, heart disease, diabetes etc.

Nowadays, the training centre for Wts Didis is very low - barely any new blood is entering our Wt ranks. And many of the Didis in uniform are obese. Thus we are facing a deficit situation with our workers. We are losing existing workers faster than we are gaining new ones. All in all it is an unfortunate state of affairs.

Margiis are requested to participate in fixing this problem. When you see an such Wt patient then politely try to convince them that their existence is very meaningful and they should cure themselves from this ailment of obesity by strictly adhering to the do’s and don’ts from Guru’s Yogic Treatments book - see note 1 below.

In Him,
Nirmala Basu

Note 1: How to treat obesity

- Dietary guidelines for treating obesity

Yogic Treatments teaches us, "Some obese people try simply to eat less, surmising that in doing so they will be able to lose weight. This is not a correct approach, because such dieting can weaken the patient to such an extent that he or she cannot even get up or walk. What the patient needs is a simple, carefully selected diet. For instance:

1. One should drink about four or five seers of water daily, but not much at a time. As far as possible the patient should always mix lemon juice with the water.

2. Completely stop taking non-vegetarian food, ghee and oil. Three-fourths to a seer of diluted milk should be taken, a little at a time, a number of times during the day.

3. Depending upon the appetite, all kinds of fruit in plentiful quantity, preferably sour juicy types, can be taken. These fruits are very beneficial for the obese.

4. Reduce or eliminate rice, rut́i and pulses, and instead eat green vegetables and soups made from them in greater quantity.

5. One must reduce the use of raw and refined sugar, but may use a little honey – nor more than three spoonfuls a day." (3)

- Important dos and don'ts for treating obesity

"Rules of fasting and sun-bathing should be observed by patients. Generally speaking, obesity is the disease of the sedentary and the greedy. So as far as possible, simple food should be eaten. Instead of luci and puri, dry rut́i should be taken. And patients should give up their habit of sitting and giving orders, and instead should do the work by their own physical efforts." (4)

What about Kashii grand Purodha meeting

Baba

This email contains two sections:
1. Posting: What about Kashii grand Purodha meeting
2. Links

What about Kashii grand Purodha meeting

Namaskar,
Many may be aware that Dada Rudrananda held a meeting of his footman purodhas at the almost empty Varanasi training centre in October. And this letter unearths why Dada Rudrananda did so.

Coax minion purodhas to get their vote

Dada Rudrananda spent big money on sumptuous food and amenities to please all those doormat purodha attendees. There were classes to cajole and please those flunky purodhas and secure their vote for the upcoming PP election.

It is alleged that Dada Rudrananda has hatched a plan to eliminate PP Dada Vishvadevananda. After PP’s death, there would be an election for the next PP - and for that Dada Rudrananda would need maximum votes to satisfy his last wish of becoming PP.

So this whole lickspittle purodha meeting arranged by Rudrananda in Varanasi was nothing but a vote-getting event - to become PP.

Why the name chosen as grand Purodha meeting

To hide his devious agenda and befool margiis, Dada Rudrananda named the gathering as grand Purodha meeting / “Kashii Purodha’ Maha Sabha.” It is just like how pimps open a brothel but call it a great music center.

Will recoil like a boomerang on the sinners themselves

Ananda Marga ideology warns, "The wicked persons at the helm of affairs, who are now out to liquidate others, will one day themselves be liquidated and erased from history by their own followers. Sinful persons, by following the crooked path, contaminate the atmosphere of the universe, but ultimately that sinful conduct, in a similar crooked way, will recoil like a boomerang on the sinners themselves.”
"Those who deprive others of justice, who stifle others’ voices and try to immortalize themselves by their own loud proclamations, are themselves usually deprived of justice in the end. And their loud cries which had risen to the skies, are smothered in the underworld...So He warned the devoted and dharmic people, Pápasya kut́iilá gatih [“The ways of sin are always crooked”]." (1)

Namaskar,
in Him,
Y. Ananda

Note 1: Plan

So again, the whole purpose why Rudrananda spent big money on this gathering was to secure votes to become PP.

It is alleged Rudrananda has engineered a plan to murder PP Dada by devising a car crash, suicide, food poisoning, or slow poisoning incident to kill PP Dada.

PP Dada has begun preparing his own food  - as he is extremely worried about being poisoned to death via food served to him by others. And verily, PP Dada is very much on edge these days about his very life, as he knows of Rudrananda’s “plan to become PP.”

Dada Rudrananda is aging and does not have much time left so he is restless to execute his plan. Please watch out.

Dada Bhaskarananda supports nasty Bangalisation + 4 more

Dada Bhaskarananda supports nasty Bangalisation

Namaskar,
Here is the fourth part of this series of the discussion between Shrii Narayan Panda (BP, Vishakapatnam) and Acarya Bhaskarananda Avt. For your easy reference, links to earlier letters are appended below.

As a reminder, thus far in the series, Dada Bhaskarananda has made the follow proclamations:

Dada Bhaskarananda stated - "Ba'ba' created A’mara’ Bengali because He wanted that Prout should first be established in Bengal and then in other areas."

Dada Bhaskarananda stated - "What Bengal thinks today, India & others think tomorrow. So PROUT will be established in Bengal first and then it will be spread to other areas."

Dada Bhaskarananda stated - "After all, Ba'ba' favoured  Bengal so much. Shabda Cayanika was given in Bengali, Baba lived in Bengal after 1980 when the organisation was big, Prabhat Samgiita was given in Bengali."

Such were the justifications given by Dadaji.

In response, Shrii Narayan Panda has presented logic and reasoning to demonstrate that Baba is not partial to Bengal and the Amara Bengali samaj. Baba has equal love for all samajas of the globe. Secondly, it was demonstrated that Shabda Cayanika is an investigation into the Sanskrit language, not Bengali. Plus the vast majority of Baba's discourses were given originally in Hindi; and, Baba wrote Prabhat Samgiita in Bengali to show us that artists and poets should write in the local language.

The conversation continued and Dada Bhaskarananda stated that he joined B group in order to please and satisfy Baba. But then it was shown that all Baba's teachings on neo-humanism condemn all sorts of groupism - in which case how can one think that they will please Guru by joining a group. No rational margii can think in this manner.

The concluding portion of the previous letter stated that we should not rely on hearsay; rather we should consult Baba's printed ideological discourses to know His position on a given topic. Blindly relying on concocted stories is not the proper way. Again, links to all prior letters are appended below.

Here we pick up the current narrative.

Story: part 5
Dada Bhaskarananda dreams that
every discourse should be printed via Bengali

Six months later, in January 2009, I happened to meet Dada Bhaskarananda again - this time in Pundag Railway Station (Purulia) when I was returning from DMS.

After initial greetings, Dada Bhaskarananda began advocating why all Baba's discourses should be based on the so-called original Bengali. Here the term so-called is employed because we all know Baba delivered discourses in so many languages including Hindi and English.

Ac Bhaskarananda told: "Maniis'a'nanda opposed having "Translated from original Bengali" printed on the title page of each book. But you know that Ba'ba' has formulated so many rules & regulations in Publication Department. Accordingly, it is customary to translate the original discourse into Bengali & then to Hindi / English."

That means even if Baba has delivered the discourse originally in Hindi, then that Hindi should be translated into Bengali, which then becomes the new master or "original." Then using the Bengali as the new source text, the discourse should be translated from Bengali to English and then into other languages. So even though it is a Hindi discourse, Bengali should get pride of place and on the inside of the book it should be stated, "Translated from the original Bengali."

Such was Dada Bhaskaranandji's claim.

Dada's second claim:
Baba spoke in poor quality English because of the standard of people

Dadaji continued, "When Ba'ba' used to deliver His discourse in DMC time, He used to see the average standard of the people, therefore He used to speak in very simple English. Therefore it was necessary to translate to Bengali & then to proper English."

I was surprised to hear such things from such a senior Da'da' & thought it was meaningless to hear anything further from him because his statements are illogical & irrational.

Internally, I got annoyed with Da'da' because who is he to comment whether Ba'ba' was thinking that He would speak standard English, or poor quality English. If it is so, let us examine Baba's first discourse on microvita in Kalikata on 31st Dec '86 which He delivered in English. That discourse was so complex that even up till today, it could not be understood by so many philosophers, doctors, scientists, yet Baba spoke in that manner before so many common margiis like us who were present on that day.

At that time my train arrived in the station, and was forced to leave by bidding "Good Bye & Namaskar" to Da'da'.

Namaskar,
In Him,
Narayan Panda

Note 1: What is the Bangalisation of an English discourse?

It is when Baba spoke in English and that English discourse is not directly transcribed and printed in English. Rather that original English discourse is translated into Bengali. And then from that translated Bengali version it is double-translated back into English and then finally printed in English. This entire process of ruining Baba’s original discourse is known as the Bangalisation of Baba’s English discourse.

Note 2: What is the Bangalisation of a Hindi discourse?

It is when Baba spoke in Hindi and that Hindi discourse is not directly transcribed and printed in Hindi. Rather that original Hindi discourse is translated into Bengali. And then from that translated Bengali version it is double-translated back into Hindi and then finally printed in Hindi. This entire process of ruining Baba’s original discourse is known as the Bangalisation of Baba’s Hindi discourse.

Note 3: Bangalisation analogy

By simple analogy, one can understand what Bangalisation is. Suppose you have a white t-shirt that you wish to wear. Then suppose there is a dogmatic belief (Bangalisation) that this shirt should first be placed in a bucket of black charcoal. And by so doing the shirt became filthy black. The original white color became permanently lost. So "via Bangla" is like that. When Baba's original Hindi is filtered through a Bangla translation to make the printed Hindi, then in that process Baba's original Hindi words get completely lost. And that is what happened with this discourse.

Inspire them with the fact that all humanity
is an indivisible entity
- Ananda Vanii #48

“That which renews human existence and makes it full to the brim and overflowing with the joy of living is termed a festival. Let Sháradotsava (autumn festival) inspire all people to live with a new spirit like true human beings. Let it inspire them with the fact that all humanity is an indivisible entity. On this auspicious day this is my inner wish.”

Acrobatics of dressing and decorating of one's exterior with málá

Here Baba condemns the use of such dogmatic malas and rosary beads etc.

"I have said it before and I say it again, that Sádhaná means fight against Avidyá. This fight is internal, not external. External or ostentatious fight will achieve nothing. In such a fight one's entire capability culminates in the acrobatics of dressing and decorating of one's exterior with málá (a rosary or string of beads for saying prayers), tilaka (a conspicuous mark between the eyebrows with sandalwood-paste or vermilion, jholá (a little sack for the rosary) and candan-chápa (or the mark of sandalwood paste on the forehead, arms and chest). Instead, spiritual aspirants have to fight against their inner, base propensities, and when they will wear the crown of victory, they will then realize that there is absolutely no difference between them and Brahma – they have become Brahma Himself." Conspiracy to grab PP post

Dada Rudrananda’s conspiracy to grab PP post:
Suicide, or poisoned, or shot to death

Namaskar,
In the past, when Dada Vishvadevananda was first elected as PP then many used to make jokes about his ignorance and stupidity. Because Dada Vishvadevananda was was controlled by either Dada Rudrananda or Dada Nigamananda. So other workers used to laugh at him. This situation continued up to Dada Nigmananda's death.

Then Dada Rudrananda saw his dream of coronation as PP coming to fruition so he changed the protocol that PP should be respected and treated like a God incarnate. Dada Rudrananda mandated that all should blindly respect PP as a veritable deity, and nobody can talk poorly about PP or make fun of him, otherwise they will face incarceration. Dada Rudrananda’s order made PP like the Ayatollah of Iran. If anyone criticises PP they will get arrested. Why did Dada Rudrananda do like this? To clear his path. Now, the moment Dada Rudrananda becomes PP he will have everything. It is alleged that Dada Rudrananda will manifest his conspiracy plan and we will all hear that Dada Vishvadevananda “committed suicide”, or that Dada Visvadevananda was poisoned or shot to death - and now Dada Rudrananda is PP. So watch out.

Preparation has been done for all this during the recent so-called Kashi Purodha Maha Sabha in Varanasi.

Wolf in avadhuta garb

You might also know that Dada Rudrananda is living in a luxurious, multi-million dollar hideout on the riverbank outside Varanasi. And the property of Dada Rudrananda’s hideout is registered in his own name not Ananda Marga. This was all made possible after selling New York sector buildings and land holdings etc.

Dada Rudrananda’s hideout is complete with underground living quarters, all sorts of luxuries and many ultra-modern conveniences, and fancy accommodations. Dada Rudrananda is controlling Vishvadevananda. From that place, R tries to present himself as being a great monk. This is his deceitful outer presentation. While on the inside Dada Rudrananda is constantly scheming and scamming to arrange the post of PP for himself, as he builds up his fake and false reputation as a sadhu.

Sadly, some Wts in general are feeling hopeless, for various reasons. They know about everything that is going on - i.e. all the aforesaid points, but they feel paralysed to do anything. And it is so unfortunate that some ignorant margiis and family acaryas are greedy for prestige etc deliberately close their eyes and overlook the situation. They are in denial and for this reason the problem is metastasizing day by day.

Namaskar,
at His feet,
P. Ananda

Note: This news has been shared with you in order to save the life of Dada Vishvadevananda. Regardless, of how much of a stooge Dada Vishavadevananda is, still according to our neo-humanistic outlook Dada Vishvadevananda's life is precious.

Mahaprayan of one senior family acarya

Baba

Mahaprayan of one senior family acarya

Namaskar
It is with much sadness that we share with you news of the mahaprayan (death) of Acarya Amulya Ratan Sarangiji. Respected Acaryaji breathed his last on 14th November 2015 at 5:30pm IST at Ranchi hospital. At the time of his mahaprayan, Ac Sarangiji was beyond 93 years of age.

Ac. Sarangji's mahaprayan comes on the heels of a terrible heart attack which weakened him. On this tragic occasion of his mahaprayan, surely all will remember him as a very senior member of the Marga as Sarangi took initiation in the early 1960's - by His grace. That is when he was blessed with diiksa and took Shrii Shrii Anandamurtiji as his Guru.

In the 1960's Sarangiji was extremely active in pracara - initiating so many sadhakas, some of whom became Wts. And then in the post 1978 era, Ac Sarangiji was deeply involved in Ananda Marga work, including doing Hindi Prabhat Samgiita purports on a few occasions at DMC with Sadguru Baba. Plus, on a few other occasions, Sarangiji translated Guru's divine discourses into Hindi when Baba spoke in English.

May we all take solace in the fact that our dear Acarya Sarangiji was a devotee of Sadguru Baba. Certainly he will attain mukti or moksa, accordingly. Baba will lovingly bestow His grace and he will remain under His Supreme shelter.

at the lotus feet of Baba,
Ramdev

Note 1: "Mahaprayan" means death of mortals - confirm for yourself
from the Samsad Bengali-English Dictionary

Mahaprayan (Death): Many are aware that mahaprayan (death) is the common term used in India and especially in Bengal to describe the death of any human being, even ordinary people. In that way, the obituary columns of the newspapers of Bengal regularly cite the mahaprayan (death) of various persons of society who died or passed away.

Some may get confused and wrongly think that the word 'mahaprayan' (death) is one extraordinarily devotional term to be used in association with Parama Purusa. But that is not at all the case. Rather to do so is only to undermine the eternal presence of Parama Purusa. That is why no devotees ever use the word 'mahaprayan' in reference to Lord Shiva or Lord Krsna. Because Lord Shiva and Lord Krsna exist eternally. Then there is no question of Their mahaprayan (death).

Baba is Parama Purusa so He is eternal and there is no question of His mahaprayan.

Here it should be known that the convention of an annual death day ceremony (i.e. shraddhainjali or mahaprayan) is a foundation of the Islamic tradition. Muslims are well known for this, and their approach of an annual death day ceremony was adopted by the leader of a particular group in AMPS. So no one should think that mahaprayan is some type of sacred event. It is done on the death day anniversary of Muslims.

And for those who need still more technical proof then all this can be clarified quite readily by referencing the dictionary. Specifically in the Samsad Bengali-English dictionary on page 742. Checking there it will be confirmed that the word 'mahaprayan' means death. Which is why it is used to refer to the passing away of even common citizens.

Note 2: Mahaprayan is only for humans
Sadguru is eternal

Here it should be qualified that there is both real mahaprayan and fake mahaprayan. Real mahaprayan marks the death of any ordinary human being, just like the aforesaid news. This is the proper use of the term: To note a person's departure from this earth. That is the meaning of the mahaprayan term and that is the standard way the term is used in Indian languages.

Then there is the fake, or so-called, or dogmatic mahaprayan. That is when certain vested interests try to apply the mahaprayan term to Parama Purusa Himself. This is grossly inappropriate because when Parama Purusa Sadguru Baba is that Divine Entity who is beginningless and endless and resides always in our heart, then it is entirely wrong to proclaim that He is gone.

That is why rational margiis are protesting; because the Oct 21st program is so-called mahaprayan. So-called means that something is fake. Parama Purusa is eternal, thus for some vested interests to declare "mahaprayan of Parama Purusa" is nothing but so-called mahaprayan.

Mahaprayan only really happens in the case of human beings, not Parama Purusa.

Note 3: Story: Sitting on Baba's lap means died?

Recently after dharmacakra, a senior margii was recounting his experiences of having dharma samiiksa with Baba.

He said, "After being punished by Baba, then He called me close and placed me on His lap - I remained there for some time soaking up His love - and He blessed me."

We all enjoyed hearing about his personal account with Baba during dharma samiiksa. When he finished telling his story, there was a call for questions. Various people posed their queries.

"How did Baba bring you back to life?"

Towards the end, one new margii raised his hand and asked, "How did Baba bring you back to life?"

Everyone stared at the new margii in amazement. There was a look of astonishment all around - people were really shocked to hear him say this.

The new sadhaka sensed that something was awry.

He said very matter-of-factly, "I thought that sitting on Baba's Lap means that he (the margii) died - that is why I asked that question."

This was quite eye-opening for those of us in the room: Through our language and expression we had unknowingly taught someone to think that being on Baba's lap is the equivalent of death. Because it seems that nowadays people only use the phrase "Baba's lap" when a person has died, such as "Let him rest peacefully in Baba's lap", as if in order to sit on Baba’s lap one has to die. But that is false. Sincere sadhakas regularly sit on Baba’s lap in their meditation. It is His grace. It is just like a child need not die in order to sit on hi father’s lap.

Confusion about sitting on Baba's lap

At that moment I thought that everyone, new and old, should be clear about the real and devotional meaning of this phrase, "being on Baba's lap." It should not become stigmatized such that it only means death. Because in its true sense, the phrase "being on Baba's lap" really does carry a highly devotional and sweet feeling.

It is just like how a small child sits on its parent's lap. In a similar way, a spiritual child (human being) sits on the lap of Parama Purusa. By Baba's grace this can happen anytime in one's sadhana, especially in dhyana. Such a phrase then should not become  stigmatized because too many people only use it at the time of death.

We should be careful that we do not relegate "Baba's lap" only to the point of death.

The connotation of death must not become synonymous with "being on Baba's lap." Because the phrase - "being on Baba's lap" - is a devotional experience that can happen today itself in sadhana, and especially in dhyana. The phrase "being on Baba's lap" should not lose this quality and only mean death. It should not meet the same dark fate as happened with the term harijan. Nowadays, for the occasion of death / mahaprayan, 99.9% of the time people use the phrase "on Baba's lap", and for devotional stories the phrase "on Baba's lap" is used 0.01% of the time. That is why - for devotional purposes - this phrase is already included on the endangered species list.

Lest meet same fate as "harijan"

As we all know, these days in India nobody uses the term harijan to mean "a devotee". Whereas 70 years ago it was used in that way. The term harijan did mean bhakta. But ever since the time of Gandhi when he glued the harijan term to the lowest so-called caste, i.e so-called untouchables, nobody uses the the harijan to mean devotee. Never. Because the term harijan has been stigmatized to mean "untouchable". Nobody uses it to mean "devotee", but that is the original and true meaning of the word.

The phrase, "sitting on Baba's lap", should not meet a similar fate. It should not lose its devotional quality and just refer to one's death. That will be very negative.

Baba would bless devotees and place them on His lap

There are tens of thousands of recorded stories by sadhakas where they use the phrase, "on Baba's lap", when describing their experiences of being with Baba: He used to bless them and bring them on His lap.     People should understand the deeply devotional value of this expression, and not just think that Baba's lap means death, i.e. that you can only sit on His lap at the time of death. Still today there are thousands of margiis walking this earth who sat in Baba's lap. And not only that, there are countless more sadhakas who were blessed by Baba in dreams and dhyana wherein they sat in His lap. And still today this deeply devotional experience is attainable by sadhakas, by His grace.

There are so many ways an aspirant can reach unto Baba's lap including in sadhana and especially during dhyana. That is the main idea that should be preserved. Sadhana is a devotional practice and one can sit on Baba's lap in dhyana. We should make it cent-per-cent clear to one and all that the phrase, "sitting on Baba's lap", does not mean death.

Dogma:
if "on Baba's lap" only used for death

Here are quoted lines from recently posted emails on various forums, wherein the writer uses the phrase - "in Baba's lap" - with the occasion of death:

- "May he rest in HIS loving lap of eternity."

- "We are sure that Baba has taken him in His loving lap."

- "May his soul rest in Baba's lap forever."

- "Let her rest peacefully in Baba's Lap - which she always desired."

- "now he is in beloved Baba's lap"

- "May his soul get peaceful place in His lap"

- "He is now in BÁBÁ'S loving lap"

- "May Baba bless him with a seat in His lap."

- "May BABA accept him in HIS divine lap!"

- "May Baba take him in his eternal loving lap."

- "Please keep him on Your lap forever."

All of the above lines are commonly written in eulogizing the deceased. Of course, it is fine to write like that. Here the point is that this same phrase "in Baba's lap" should also be used when describing one's devotional practices and experiences. But these days mostly it is used in a eulogy and rarely used to recount one's devotional experiences - unfortunately. By this way, the phrase "in Baba's lap" is being misused and step by step the real meaning is being forgotten as now people more commonly use the phrase to eulogize those who have died, and much less so to express their devotional feeling. Unfortunately, the meaning and inner spirit of the phrase is getting lost.

Here again is the central idea:

The idea is that this phrase - Baba's lap - has been linked with death due to extreme overuse. So for some time if sadhakas use this phrase exclusively for devotional purposes, that will be best.

Proof: Rudrananda is enemy of Ananda Marga and agent of RSS

Baba

Proof: Rudrananda is enemy of Ananda Marga and agent of RSS

Namaskar,

The following concern I humbly place before you for your kind consideration and proper action.

1) RSS (Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh) is a Hindu fundamentalist organisation based in India. Since the inception of our Ananda Marga, RSS has opposed, threatened, attacked, and victimised our workers and jagrtis in the past. Indeed, there is a long history how so many of Baba’s proposed DMC’s were canceled and could not be held due to strong opposition from RSS. Now we see that the newspapers have reported how at recent DMS gatherings in Deoghar & Kullu etc Dada Rudrananda and his stooges publicly proclaimed on stage that all Ananda Margii should fully support RSS at the polls and vote for their candidate.

R. is in bed with RSS chief

2) Specifically, during the October 2015 DMS programs at Deoghar (Bihar) and Kullu (Himachal Pradesh), Rudrananda instructed his stooges to make announcements, right on the DMS stage, that AMPS officially will support the RSS agenda during the Bihar elections. Margiis are now annoyed how in Bihar AMPS is supporting RSS’s political agenda, instead of Baba's Prout movement.

Thus it is clear how Dada Rudrananda has ties with the fundamentalist Hindu organization in India, RSS. Actually, in a few press conferences, Dada Rudrananda openly spoke about the chief of RSS (Mr. Mohan Bhagwat) in a glowing manner stating that he is a good person and his thinking is in the right direction.

Terrified PP Vishvadevananda dances to the direction of Rudrananda

3) PP Dada Vishvadevananda of AMPS (Ranchi) has fully surrendered AMPS in the hands of Dada Rudrananda. Indeed PP Dada had no voice to organize last month’s purodha meeting at a desirable place like Jamalpur or Ananda Nagar, and instead obeyed Rudrananda’s strict order to hold it in Varanasi, where Dada Rudrananda was the counselor and coach of this program.

4) The name they chose for this meeting, "Kashi Purodha Maha Sabha", is verily undermining Sadguru Baba. Baba organized such meetings of Acaryas, Avadhutas, etc and called them “Acarya Sabha”, “Avadhuta Sabha”, “Madhur Sabha” etc. But, Dada Rudrananda, by adding the word "Maha" meaning great, is trying to prove that he has done something even greater than Baba.

Poison of Hindu casteism amongst central key post holders

5)This is a prime example of the increasing trend of casteism in AMPS. Due to this dangerous trap of caste-hood, members of a particular caste are given all the top posts in AMPS. That is exactly what Rudrananda propagates and executes. Instead of promoting a unity amongst WTs, Rudrananda is trying to promote a separate class within AMPS called, Purodha. It is just like the Indian train reservation system: First class, second class etc. During the British era in India, only white officers were allowed to travel in first class compartments of Indian railway. Now Rudrananda is setting up a parallel schema in AMPS.

RSS spy Rudrananda

6) Seeing all this, any rational person will come to the conclusion that Dada Rudrananda is a RSS secret person (spy or plant) who infiltrated into AMPS, and he works exclusively at their behest. Dada Rudrananda’s aim is to make AMPS like a Hindu organization. All his activities, so far, leads to the conclusion that his every step is against Beloved Baba's mission.

Now is the time to take the right course in addressing this matter and resolving this critical issue that is causing great harm in our AM society.

in Him,
Satyaprakash Yadav

Filthy modus operandi of Dada Rudrananda

It is well known that Dada Rudrananda allegedly seeks out shady workers and brings them into his inner circle because he knows he can easily control and manipulate them. They all follow obediently out of the fear of getting exposed on the public platform. They do not want to get a bad name and lose their post etc. Indeed, they feel obliged to Dada Rudrananda for granting them a high social status. This makes for a very colorful display of purodhas holding key posts in Ranchi administration. And those purodhas not holding key posts had their backbone and tongue surgically removed and have become spineless, voiceless reptiles that meekly crawl outside around Dada Rudranandji’s mansion - unfortunately. It is so pathetic to see.

Here are some of the names of these colourful purodhas:

Can Dada S & Dada R etc be forgiven or not

Can Dada S & Dada R etc be forgiven or not

Namaskar,

Baba says, "What is forgiveness? It means to remain free from vindictive attitudes towards anyone. Suppose someone has done something inimical to you, you, in turn, need not be revengeful or vindictive towards him or her. It is of course quite natural for an ordinary person to take revenge against someone who has done an inimical action: there’s nothing wrong if an ordinary person does that. But one who is virtuous, that is, one who has risen slightly above the rest, cannot act in this way. He or she should behave otherwise. How should a virtuous person behave? If one is satisfied that the wrong-doer’s habit has been rectified, one may pardon him or her. If someone is perpetrating atrocities on thousands of Ananda Margiis, however, one has no individual right to excuse the wrongdoer because he or she has harmed thousands of innocent people. But if a person commits atrocities on me alone, and if I am satisfied that his or her nature has been transformed, it would be proper for me as a dhármika to show forgiveness. However, if his or her nature has not been rectified, my forgiveness may result in that person becoming even more of a reckless scoundrel and in such a case forgiveness would be considered as a sign of my weakness. This is the dhármik interpretation of kśamá. That is, neither is it proper for me to blindly forgive a wrongdoer, nor is it proper for me to blindly punish a wrongdoer. We should think properly before we act. If someone goes against the collective interest of the society, a collective decision should be made whether the wrong-doer should be forgiven or not, keeping in mind whether he or she has already rectified the bad habit. No individual can take a decision in this regard arbitrarily.” (Ananda Vacanamrtam - 4, The Ten Characteristics of a Dhármika)

Note: We cannot forgive those who manipulated Ananda Marga scripture. We cannot forgive those who imposed the dogma that all discourses and books were translated from the original Bengali. We cannot forgive those who curtailed and eradicated margii rights. We cannot forgive those who committed these very atrocities yet do not show any signs of remorse or repentance. The reason is that these are social crimes - they harmed Ananda Marga society - so no individual has the right to forgive them - Dada Sarvatmananda & Dada Rudrananda etc.

We all know who these people are - everyone is aware about who committed these acts. But no single individual can forgive them because their sinful activities harmed the society.

Forgiveness is only for individual life. If someone harmed you then and you see they have rectified their ways - then you can forgive them. In such circumstances, the more forgiveness the better. But if they did not change their ways, do not forgive them. Otherwise wrongdoers will gain greater incentive to do wrong.

Those who forgive such unrepentant culprits are, unfortunately, ignorant and committing sin.

If someone commits an act that goes against society and collective interest, then no one person can forgive them. Rather an assigned body of qualified representatives - i.e. sadvipras - of the collective must review the case.

Those who manipulated Ananda Marga scripture and tore down margii rights have done irreparable damage to society. Those who committed these heinous acts may now be suffering from diseases and / or may be out of power. But that is not cause to forgive them. Baba's teachings of forgiveness are very clear and these people are not worthy of forgiveness.

There are ten wonts of dharma - right use of forgiveness (ks'ama) is the second.

In Him,
Vivek

Re: Dada will be remembered forever

Baba

Namaskar!

Bravo! Bravo! Bravissimo!!!

Excellent article in the analysis of the downfall of Shraddhananda and Sarvatmananda.

May we all learn from their mistakes in ego, pride, avarice, jealousy, and many more negative vrittis they used to bring about their downfall.

Especially, thank you for not showing any form of respect such as using the suffix, "-ji" on anyone who is a Mahapatakii. These acaryas are indeed Mahapatakiis, because they have and  will have the potentiality to mislead trillions, quadrillions, countless beings with their petty egos and puny distorted minds...unless we act now, and change the consciousness of many people and replace the culprits by force if necessary. In this way, we can  reverse the numerous criminal changes to Baba's teachings so that beings in the future will derive the full benefit from the return of Baba's pristine Ideology.

I know many believe this is the right thing to do.

As Baba would say, "Let us brook no further delay."

Baba Nam Kevalam!

Move on ensuring real justice to all individuals
and all geographical people
- Ananda Vanii #56

"The entire humanity must be looked upon as one integrated existence – and move collectively towards the all-round perfection of human life. All actions are bound to confront obstacles. It has to be borne in mind that the nobler the task, the mightier the obstacle. For human emancipation, there is no other way but to march ahead crushing the towering peaks of obstacles with a benevolent intellect and collective endeavour. Hence I reiterate, go ahead with courage and unity. You have to move on ensuring real justice to all individuals and all geographical people."
