Have a look at the scene that is unfolding: 

(a) Margiis are repeatedly told to go and see Baba in Jamalpur. Indeed, there is an ongoing campaign that encourages and lures margiis in this way.

(b) The basic message is that if you want to see Baba then come to Jamalpur, and verily that is what one margii wrote after he went there:

"I visited our Guru Anandamurtijii also known as Baba."

That is the statement one margii wrote publicly when posting an image of some type of shrine for Baba in Jamalpur. Sadly, the margii literally thinks that in order to visit with or see Baba then he has to go to Jamalpur. So he went - please see the image he posted:

(c) By seeing his above social media post, it is evident this person truly feels that in order to see Baba he must go to Jamalpur. And, sadly, he is not the only one thinking in this way. 

(d) Of course this type of tiirtha (pilgrimage) mentality completely violates Baba's essential teaching: That He resides in the hearts of His bhaktas, and not in any particular place like Jamalpur etc. 

(e) Those who succumb to this dogma completely lose the ability to do sadhana since they think Baba resides at some external, physical location like Jamalpur.

(f) This entire Jamalpur tiirtha campaign is Dada Rudrananda's way to turn Jamalpur into a cash cow and bring relevance to his group.

(g) Here is Baba’s central teaching on this important  topic. 

Ananda Marga ideology says, "The Supreme Being is omnipresent....It is not proper to confine Him to a particular place and say that He has eaten butter at this place or taken a dip in the Ganges at that particular place, thus limiting Him to a particular region or a particular country or the glorification of a particular sacred place, and thereby limit His all-pervasiveness" (1)

Baba ignored Jamalpur

It is obvious then that Baba did not give special importance to Jamalpur. One reason being that the tiirtha dogma is very strong here in India and around the globe also. If Baba had encouraged the importance of Jamalpur, then it would have taken the shape of a so-called holy land / tiirtha very quickly. Jamalpur was prone to become a so-called holy land / tiirtha. That is why Baba avoided going there for so long. Because Baba wants to establish the idea in each and every bhakta’s heart that Parama Purusa is not confined to any particular place, rather He is within. To attain Him one need not go to any so-called tiirtha or “holy land.” There is no 'special' physical place where Lord Shrii Shrii Anandamurtiji lives. He is not tied to any particular land.

Ananda Marga ideology teaches us, "The secret of a devotee’s heart is known to Parama Puruśa. In Jamalpur I told you that Parama Puruśa does not reside in Vaekuńt́ha [the mythological abode of Lord Viśńu], nor on the throne, nor in the heart of the dry yogi. He actually resides in the heart of a devotee. A devotee is always bound to think of Parama Puruśa at heart, because their mutual relation is one of love and devotion. That is why Parama Puruśa clearly proclaims, Madbhaktáh yatra gáyanti tatra tiśt́hámi Nárada – that is, “I reside, O Nárada, wherever my devotees are singing.”" (2)

Why so-called family acarya?

Ananda Marga Caryacarya says, "Only those persons who are sincere, spirited and endowed with sharp intellect; and who understand and can make others understand the philosophy will be considered eligible to become acaryas." (1)

Note: Sadguru Baba’s above golden guideline is an essential component of developing a strong cadre of acaryas. Eligibility for becoming an acarya is to be based on one’s psychic and psycho-spiritual development, as well as one’s commitment to understanding and propagating Ananda Marga ideology.

Sadly, this high standard is not being upheld these days. One such avenue needing attention is the pathway for becoming a family acarya. In today’s organisational climate of extreme groupism, family acaryaships are not granted on the basis of one’s sadhana and ideological understanding. Instead, people become family acaryas only if they will blindly and obediently follow the notorious agenda of their bosses (i.e. adopt a stooge mentality), and / or if they are big financial donors to Centre etc. That is why nowadays they are so-called family acaryas. 

The overall idea is that if one is willing to unquestioningly compromise on points of ideology for the sake of a particular narrow group, then one will be considered a prime candidate to be a fake family acarya. Unfortunately, this is the chief qualification these days.

To truly advance and propagate Ananda Marga ideology, our entire acarya cadre, both family and Wt acaryas, will have to be formed and based on Guru’s guideline.

WT election scandal at Jamalpur DMS

On the eve of the recent Jamalpur DMS (25 - 27 October), there was a big kerfuffle when the Ranchi Administration tried to fast-track the elections for our various Wt boards. Here is a step-by-step account of what occurred with the proposed avadhuta board, acarya board, and tattvika board elections.

#1: Prior to the start of Jamalpur DMS, RDS was held from 21 - 23 October. And on the last day of that RDS, Dada Amaleshananda put up a poster in the jagrti with a listing of the candidates for the (a) avadhuta board, (b) acarya board, and (c) tattvika board elections. Moreover, it was announced that the elections would be held the very next day, 24 Oct 2024. 

#2: This came as a big surprise and shock to the many Wts present at that Delhi sector RDS. Indeed, general Wts were outraged for a few reasons: 

(a) Many of the candidates had a history of unseemly and characterless behaviour, completely unbecoming of a Wt, let alone a board member.

(b). The election board had not put out a call for nominees / candidates, nor was there a prior announcement that there would be an election on the 24th. Thus, the whole event was simply thrust upon the Wts without any notice. 

(c) Some of the candidates were such junior workers that they did not even meet the stated minimum requirement of being a Wt for three years. 

(d) There was also the numbers game. The avadhuta board is composed of 4 members, and there were only 5 nominees; the acarya board is composed of 8 members, and there were only 9 nominees; and, the tattvika board is composed of 12 members, and there were only 14 nominees. In sum, there were not enough qualified candidates to fill the spots as too many of the nominees were plagued by disqualifying behaviours.

(e) All of the nominees had been put forward because they were proven stooges of Dada Rudrananda. That was the only reason they had become a nominee, and there was no scope for others to nominate additional or alternative candidates. 

(f) There were no Didis nominated for the avadhuta / tika board in which case who would teach upcoming Didis who were candidates for kapalika sadhana. 

Based on all the above and more, many Wts raised their concerns and questioned the entire electoral process. They wanted the board elections to be postponed or cancelled until there was a proper slate of candidates. To this end, they raised a big hue and cry.

#3: Dada Amaleshananda paid no heed to any of the issues raised by the Wts, rather he was unmoved by their concerns and firmly declared:

"The avadhuta board, acarya board, and tattvika board elections would be held tomorrow, Thursday, 24 Oct!" 

This only further inflamed the general Wts. Dada Rajeshananda and Dada Jiivapremananda were quite vocal, along with about 15 other workers. And that number swelled to about 50+ Wts from that RDS who joined in on the protest against the election. 

#4: As the tensions escalated, GS Dada Abhiramananda came to the fore and tried to reassure everyone and cool down the situation. First Dada ji said that the avadhuta / acarya / tattvika board elections could not be cancelled because they had already gone forth in all the other 8 sectors. But this turned out to be a false claim and a bogus defense because the elections were not clearly announced in all sectors and were only carried out in a few of them at best, and still today many persons have no idea elections were held. 

#5: Next, Dada Abhiramananda attempted to outrank everyone by stating, "I am the general secretary, and we have every right to hold these elections based on the order of PP Dada." To this, Dada Rajeshananda and others objected, "In this situation, you are just a regular voter just like us - you have no greater authority or official role in the election process so talk to us as a normal voter."

#6: By this point, the scene had become quite hot; tensions were high in the Jamalpur jagrti. What began as a relatively small number of objectors gained a groundswell of support whereby 50+ Wts were fully involved and completely outraged by this bogus election process. The situation was heated. In fact, Dada Rudrananda just kept himself in his room and refused to show face.  

#7: Finally, encumbered by so many violations and falsehoods, those in-charges accepted their defeat, at least temporarily. They declared that there was no way to move forward, and they cancelled the elections for the avadhuta, acarya, and tattvika boards The mass of protesting Wts felt victorious but remained cautious and alert about what the next move might be by Dada Rudrananda and his minions like Dada Amaleshananda and Dada Abhiramananda.

#8: It was also announced that the current board members would keep their posts until further notice when a new election could be held.  

#9: So this was the scene that took place at the Jamalpur RDS when Dada Rudrananda attempted to disregard all election rules and regulations given by Beloved Baba.

Conclusion

Sadguru Baba has clearly outlined the great role that our various boards have and entrusted them with tremendous responsibility. Side by side, He has also declared that those boards must be filled with qualified candidates.

Note 1: Top Stooges => Amaleshananda & Abhiramananda

The easiest way to determine if someone is a very great stooge to Rudrananda is to simply ask them what posts they have. And if their answer extends on and on, then you know they are indeed a great stooge. For instance, Dada Amaleshananda is COS (Central Office Secretary), PA (Personal Assistant of PP), CCS (Cadre Control Secretary), Purodha Board Secretary, Treasurer of AM, and he may have a few more posts like EMB (Election Management Board). Similarly, Dada Abhiramananda is GS (General Secretary), Central Amurt Secretary, SSNY (Sectorial Secretary of NY sector), SES (Sectorial Eraws Secretary), among his many other positions and roles. For instance, since there was no SWWS in NY sector, Dada Abhiramananda also controlled WWD and the Didis of NY sector. 

Note 2: List of nominees

Here is the listing of bogus nominees that were forced upon the voters. 

Avadhuta Board Nominees: Ac Puspendrananda, Ac Pranaveshananda, Ac Mantracaetanyananda, Ac Ramendrananda, and Ac Sanjinananda

Note: Of the above 5 nominees, 4 would become avadhuta board members, with most likely Ac Puspendrananda becoming avadhuta board secretary. Yet Dada Puspendrananda is shackled by a long history of characterless conduct etc. And all on the list are certified stooges of Dada Rudrananda. 

Acarya Board Nominees: Ac Dharmaviirananda, Ac Vishwasvarupananda, Ac Dhiirjananda, Ac Gambhiirananda, Ac Navarunananda, Ac Gopikrsnananda, Ac Randhir, Avtk Ananda Madhurima, Ac Yogananda

Note: Of the above 9 nominees, 8 would become acarya board members. But there are not 8 dharmikas amongst those nominees. For instance, Didi ji has a history of characterless behaviour, and the rest earned their stripes by being sycophants of Dada Rudrananda. 

Tattvika Board Nominees: Ac Meghadiipananda, Ac Iishvar, Ac Nyayabodha, Ac Harigovindananda, Ac Susmitananda, Avtk Ananda Shaliina, Ac Vrajagopalananda, Ac Punyeshananda, Ac Sanjiivananda, Ac Divyaonmeshananda, Ac Jiitatmananda, Ac Viniit Kr Dev, Ac Vinod Kr Dev, Avtk Ananda Piiyusha

Note: Of the above 14 nominees, 12 would become tattvika board members. But there are not 12 dharmikas amongst those nominees. For instance, Dada Ac Sanjiivananda has done unlawful, unspeakable characterless dealings with minor(s) - and is a true groupist, as are the many others since to become a nominee means being a foot soldier for Rudrananda's agenda. And Ananda Piyusa (head of GV) is the very close companion (GF) of Dada Anirvanananda (RM Ananda Nagar). Similarly, Ananda Shaliina was the GF of Ac Mantrajapananda in Davao TC (Philippines) for years. So the overall quality of nominees / candidates is lacking.

Note 3: Dada R's strategy

While Dada Rudrananda holds no post in the organisation, he controls all the postholders by filling those posts with depraved characters who are beholden to him. This is his chief strategy for controlling the organisation with an iron grip, even at his advanced age.
