Example of fake monk, wt, avadhuta

Note: It is imperative to know this letter is about monks / Wts - not a family man. A monk has to follow the conduct rules for monks. A family person need not follow such rules. If any reader forgets this very point while reading this letter then the whole thing will be useless and a waste of time. While reading every line, bear in mind we are talking about a monk, an avadhuta, a second god - not xyz.

Namaskar,
Sadly, one Dada is in clear violation of Guru’s given conduct rules for avadhutas.

WT Conduct Rule - Always use hard bedding

Sadguru Baba says in avadhuta conduct rules, “One should always use hard bedding.” (1)

Thus Baba has given an explicit rule that an avadhuta should never sleep on a soft bed with mattresses etc.

Yet look at what one of our avadhutas is doing - he is sleeping in a soft, luxurious bed with box springs and cushy mattresses. A true avadhuta would never do like this - rather he would strictly abide by Guru’s guideline and sleep on the floor.

See below this Dada A. Avadhuta is sleeping on soft bed and he has propagated this photo on his Facebook page. This action is doubly bad. In order to understand please go on reading.

Who does what: Good, bad, and evil

So this Dada is not a good Wt; nor is he a bad Wt; he is an extraordinarily evil Wt. By way of this below analogy you will get the point.

If a good person is swimming in a swimming pool and they get the urge to urinate then he will exit the pool and head to the lavatory / restroom to relieve himself. If a bad person enters into the swimming pool and suddenly gets the urge to urinate then he will calmly urinate in the pool while others are swimming around; and he will silently hope that no one notices what he is doing. Lastly, if a very bad, notorious person is swimming in the pool and gets the urge to urinate then he will exit the pool and stand upright by the edge of the pool - next to the signpost that states “no urinating allowed” - and in full view of all, he will urinate directly into the pool while others are swimming there. While urinating he will take a selfie and put it up on Facebook and proclaim that “I do not care about the swimming pool rules.” And then he will jump back into that same swimming pool and start swimming.

Similarly, good wts never use a soft bed, even if due to travel they are staying in a hotel they will sleep on the floor. Bad Dadas will violate Guru’s code of conduct and sleep in the bed but they will hope that no one sees them doing this. Evil, notorious Wts commit sin by going against the conduct rule and sleeping in a soft bed, and then they make a selfie of themselves and put it on Facebook for the whole world to see. They gloat and brag that, “Look I am an avadhuta but I do not care about Guru’s guidelines - I just urinate on those conduct rules.”

By behaving in this arrogant and degraded manner, this Dada is setting a very bad example to junior workers etc. They will see what he has done and emulate it. That is why this Dada is a mahapatakii [worst sinner], otherwise what could be the explanation for his conduct. Sadly, by his wrongdoing he is setting the stage of recurring sin as others will follow his defective example.

Seeing the above photo of the person sleeping, some readers may think that, “He cannot be a monk - just he is just a road guy, or street vendor selling vegetables - he can’t be a monk.” Many may think like this. But the reality is something very different - as you continue to read below and reach note 1 you will see Dadaji’s photo.

Self-propaganda is good or bad

In Guru’s compositions of Prabhat Samgiita, He guides us how ideal devotees behave: “A'mi nijere praca'r karibo na'..."  (PS 337)

Meaning: I will never glorify my own existence. I will never propagate about my own personality...

Thus, in any narrative, one must not focus and highlight one’s own petty existence. Rather the aim should be to glorify the Supreme Entity - Lord Shrii Shrii Anandamurtiji.

Yet Dadaji is the exact opposite. He is gloating and bragging about himself. He has become a carbon copy of today’s pseudo-culture society where people engage in self-promotion all day long: “I did this”, “I did that”, “Look at me here”, “See how important I am.”

Dadaji has fallen so deep into this chasm of self-promotion that he is pretending to be asleep while he has taken this selfie. So the whole entire scene is fake from head to toe. Indeed it is shameful.

Read below and categorise who is good, bad, and worst acarya

Guru says in His discourse entitled Conduct of Acarya: "Those who have the responsibility to show the path to others should be of superlative character with the most refined conduct. They and their followers must move constantly towards all-round development and shreya [ultimate spiritual attainment]. Persons who teach such well-regulated behaviour to others by their own conduct are called ácáryas." (2)

Guru says in His discourse entitled Conduct of Acarya: "Bear in mind that people may be harmed or misled by even a small weakness or defect in the conduct of an ácárya. Just as it is the duty of a father to educate his children properly by his good conduct, an ácárya or ácáryá should always instruct by his or her exemplary actions and words." (3)

Ananda Marga philosophy warns how improper leadership brings terrible harm to society.

“Today there is catastrophe and misery in human society and there is one reason: the defective leadership of society. People blindly follow even unintelligent leaders. The leaders hypnotize and attract thousands with their tall talks, gestures and other dramatics. Understand that the poverty and misery of any people in any country are the sins of the leaders. True leaders should always be vigilant and think how to work best for human society: they must be ever cautious that under their guidance the people are not led to darkness, death and immorality.” (4)

Namaskar,
in Him,
Dayanand Ghosh

Note 1: Who is this “great” dada

Again, seeing the person photo of the person sleeping, some readers may think that, “He cannot be a monk - just he is just a road guy, or street vendor selling vegetables - he can’t be a monk.” Many may think like this. But the reality is something very different - see the below photo - here is Dadaji. This is our Ac Arnavananda Avt. This is the same Dada Arnavananda who took a selfie of himself sleeping in the above photo.

Seeing his short hair and beard it looks like he was initiated yesterday - but that is not correct. About this point of why he is violating Guru’s order and keeping short hair and beard, we will talk in the future.

Note: It is imperative to know this letter is about monks / Wts - not a family man. A monk has to follow the conduct rules for monks. A family person need not follow such rules. If any reader forgets this very point while reading this letter then the whole thing will be useless and a waste of time. While reading every line bear in mind we are talking about a monk, an avadhuta, a second god - not xyz.

How loose string makes the human animal and

overly tight string makes them charred

If this above heading is not clear then please read below.

“The common people, let alone the master artists, know that sound is not emitted if the strings are loosened too much and the soft and delicate strings snap if they are tightened too much. Human life is also like this. If one practises too much austerity (in some cases, if one makes a parade of austerity), tender human sensitivities snap and break into smithereens’ the soft, delicate parts of the mind get charred and petrified. On the other hand, if life is made akin to a loose string, the nobler yearnings of life will never be fulfilled. In other words, that kind of life degenerates into the life of an animal characterized only by bathing, eating and sleeping. Hence one must never allow the string of life to be loose. But also the string of life should not be left to snap due to excessive strain. The ideal course of life is neither left-oriented nor right-oriented. This kind of life will be conspicuous by the absence of strife, mayhem or horror of the leftists and of toleration of injustices by the rightists in their loose, careless and sloppy life. It is this ideal course that will usher in a life worth yearning for a super-human existence, divinely exquisite and shining brightly on the banner of gold.”

Note: One should know that Ananda Marga is the middle path. So strictly following 16 points is the middle path. Nobody should get confused and think it is ok to be medium or mediocre in following 16 points. That is the wrong approach. In His above teaching, Baba is referring to (a) avidya tantrikas who are very extreme in their penance and (b) idol worshippers. The middle point is Ananda Marga. So one should be very strict in 16 points. That is what is being taught in the above guideline.

~ O’ Parama Purusa, Baba, You came with the flood of spiritual effulgence ~

"Ele álor váne,dolá diye kotháy lukiye gele, sumanda samiire, suvás bhare diye man mátále,..." (PS #1132)

Purport:

O’ Parama Purusa, Baba,You are so gracious. You came with the flood of spiritual effulgence - Your presence transformed my whole existence. After spiritually vibrating me and filling my mind with devotion, where have You hidden Yourself? I can’t see You. You have saturated the gentle breeze with Your divine fragrance. O’ my Lord, You divinely intoxicated my mind with devotion. After gracing me in this way, where have You gone?

O’ Supreme Entity, Baba, everyone yearns for You; all long to get You more close. No one wants to leave You for even a single moment. By having You, the heart basks in bliss. Every bhakta wants to surrender unto You and always remain under Your shelter. O’ Divine Entity, whatever sweetness exists in their mind, they want to pour at Your lotus feet and satisfy their age-old longing to please You.

O Bhavatiita [1], please grace me by coming close - please come in madhura bhava [2] and remove all my imperfections. Make me pure so I can realise You fully. O’ my Lord, please come, with new rhythm, song, melody, and tunes, and with Your heart-exuberating, soul-stirring new beats.

O’ Parama Purusa, Baba, please shower Your causeless grace and make my life successful...

Notes for Prabhat Samgiita #1132:

[1] Bha'va'tiita: This is one of the names of Parama Purusa and describes one of His infinite attributions. In His stance of bhava’tiita, Parama Purusa is beyond all thought conception. Bhava means thinking, and atiita means beyond. So bhavatiita means the Entity who is beyond all thought. If one tries to think of Bhavatiita - i.e. the Supreme Entity - then one’s mind gets suspended and ceases to function. It is akin to the doll of salt that tries to measure the depths of the ocean. It dissolves before reaching the bottom and becomes one with the ocean. Similarly, the mind cannot reach that Entity who is Bhavatiita. As the unit mind tries to think of Him, the mind actually becomes one with Him, by His grace. That unit mind loses its individuality and merges into Him - it cannot remain separate. That is why He is Bhavatiita.

Ananda Marga philosophy states, "Parama Purus'a, the Supreme Reality, is beyond all speech and thought: He is beyond the reach of the vocal cord. So He is bha'va'tiita ["beyond bha'va"]...The more one thinks of His infinite qualities, the more one becomes speechless, the more deeply one becomes absorbed in Him." (1)

[2] Madhura Bhava: There are different relations / bhavas a sadhaka may have with Parama Purusa. For instance one may view Him as Father, or Friend, or Master, or Lover, i.e. madhura bhava etc. These relations have varying degrees of closeness with the Divine Entity. Of the four, madhura bhava is very intimate and close.

Ananda Marga ideology guides us, "Madhura bháva is a very exalted bháva, for this bháva fills the mind with sweetness and bliss and leads the aspirant to the closest proximity of the Lord. To a person who is predominantly a devotee of the Lord, everything tastes sweet, there is nothing bitter in the creation of Parama Puruśa. He is attracting you through the ectoplasmic world, binding you through the bonds of love." (2)

Ananda Marga teachings state, "The spirit of madhura bháva is as follows: “He is so vast, endowed with innumerable attributes, yet even then He loves me. He is so great, yet He is still my most intimate friend, so very close to me. What joy! What joy!” This is madhura bháva." (3)

So the path of madhura bhava is always blissful. The bhakta wants only His sweet proximity and one gets His intimate companionship by His grace.
