Demise of AM Mexico: all properties lost
Note: In this news update, the term so-called is used to indicate that the person in question is not a true Ananda Margii.

Since long, the situation surrounding our AM land holdings in Mexico (jagrtis and master units) has been quite tenuous and complex. Here are a few key points every concerned Ananda Margii should know, lest a similar debacle unfold in their region / sector.

Phase I: Vimalananda’s money deal
(#1) As the then Sectorial Secretary of NY sector, Vimalananda employed his obedient servant, Juan (i.e. so-called Yogendra), and systematically removed all of the Ananda Margiis from the Ananda Marga Mexico board. By this way, they snatched legal control over all of the Ananda Marga properties in Mexico. This was done solely under the direction of Vimalananda, despite the repeated pleas and protests by local Wts and margiis to stop this from happening.
(#2) The then SS Vimalananda vowed to take control of all of the land assets and buildings of Ananda Marga in Mexico in order to enrich himself. Without any doubt, Vimalananda was the lead conspirator as Vimalananda was getting sizable payouts to cut numerous deals. Naturally, Vimalananda gave a huge portion of those monies to Centre, otherwise this whole scandal would not have been possible. So this entire illicit land sale and money laundering scheme involving the AM Mexico properties was going all the way up the chain of command: It was all happening with the blessings of Dada Rudrananda.
(#3) Drunk with personal greed, Dada Vimalananda was keen to drive that train on and on and get all the riches from the Mexico land sales using his chief stooge Yogendra. And, that is exactly what happened. Verily, Vimalananda failed miserably in his duty to Guru to protect the properties and interests of Ananda Marga in Mexico. Sadly, Vimalananda betrayed our trust and his oaths to Guru in order to satisfy his own lust and greed.

Phase II: Properties lost
(#4) Initially, many could not believe that Vimalananda could have behaved in this way. But slowly, step by step, all the facts have come to the fore and everyone has come to realise the selfish and nefarious dealings of Vimalananda.
(#5) The thing is this: Vimalananda purchased his stooge, i.e. so-called Yogendra for a few shillings, and then by using his then SS post he authorized the sale / capture of 12 Ananda Marga properties in Mexico, worth a total of around 10 million US dollars. Indeed, it was brother Gagan who bequeathed all of these properties to Ananda Marga Mexico before his untimely death, i.e. murder. Verily, from start to finish, the whole episode is catastrophic and reads more like a mafia saga than the workings of a social service organisation.
(#6) It should also be borne in mind that the totality of the disaster in Mexico did not end with the reign of Vimalananda as SSNY. No doubt Vimalananda started the problem, but when he left then Abhiramananda came onto the scene as SSNY in Feb 2016. And that very year itself Abhirmananda did a tour of Mexico and nearly all of the senior sadhakas of Mexico pleaded and alerted Abhiramananda about how Vimalananda had used this stooge, i.e. so-called Yogendra, to sell the properties. The margiis desperately wanted this to stop. But rather than taking action and stopping this problem, Abhirmananda used the stooge (so-called Yogendra) and boosted him up to the sky and hailed him as a celebrity at the main retreat site (Ananda Kanan, Missouri, USA) of NY sector. From 2016- 2020, Abhiramananda gave so-called Yogendra huge respect in front of all of the NY margiis and workers. And by this way, Abhiramananda was able to use so-called Yogendra to control all of the properties of Mexico. Verily, so-called Yogendra had no courage or impetus, rather it was all done by Vimalananda and Abhiramananda. That is who hijacked all of the AM properties of Mexico. It was these two SS dadas, i.e. Vimalananda and Abhiramananda, who used so-called Yogendra as their pawn. By this way these two Wts, via the order of Centre, sold everything, i.e. all of the Mexico properties, and they swallowed that money. And that is how this whole horrific crime unfolded. That is how all of the elite and expensive AM properties in Mexico were lost, looted, and squandered.

(#7) The ramifications for local workers in Mexico have been disastrous. The Wts were forced to live in rented houses and undergo all kinds of financial hardship, while Vimalananda allowed and ordered so-called Yogendra to turn all those AM properties into night clubs that sold alcohol and hosted degrading dance parties etc. And some they just sold outright. This was all done for Vimalananda’s bankroll.
(#8) This is the type of downfall that can happen when the heads of an organisation are corrupt and dominated by greed. Bereft of any feeling of service, sacrifice, or ideological values, they just became pawns of materialism and wanted to live a life of comfort and indulgence.
Conclusion
(#9) At present, Vimalanda’s obedient servant (so-called Yogendra) is taking legal action to grab the last remaining property that is in the hands of AMPS, where all the margiis and acaryas do the weekly dharmacakra and conduct seminars, i.e. the brother's jagrti in Monterrey. Thus far, so-called Yogendra has the upper hand as a lower court ruled in his favour to kick out the Wt who has been there since long, and now local Wts and margiis are working swiftly to appeal. The situation is tenuous and desperate as this is the last remaining property.

(#10) All of this was easily avoidable in 2007 when Vimalananda gave so-called Yogendra the green light to sell AM Mexico properties. If, at that time, those at the helm had a little bit of ideological vision and were not dominated by their own lower propensities, this massive loss of AM houses, buildings, and land holdings could have been prevented. Tragically, greed took over and Vimalananda became openly involved in selling AM properties along with his sidekick, so-called Yogendra. That is why all those close to the situation refer to them not as acaryas but as Guru drohi, i.e. those who have knowingly and actively gone against the wishes of Lord Shrii Shrii Anandamurti ji.

The main conspirator in all of this is the then SS Dada Vimalananda who employed his faithful stooge, i.e. so-called Yogendra (Juan Osegueda), to carry out his plan.
Epilogue
The remaining piece to the puzzle sparks intrigue. With the loss of all of the properties in Mexico, there has been no response by the controlling party, i.e. Dada Rudrananda’s Ranchi administration. Typically, they will fight tooth and nail in the courts to maintain control of any small or big property. Yet, in this scenario in Mexico, Ranchi Adm has seemingly lost every single property, and they are doing nothing about it. And these were an expensive and dynamic array of properties that held many valuable antiques etc. But Ranchi Adm is keeping mum. That is why it is thought that Vimalananda is just using his stooge so-called Yogendra to get handsome financial payouts. And it is for this very reason that there has been no response or counter maneuvers by Ranchi Adm to reclaim all those lost properties in Mexico.
