Thus far we have reviewed the first 4 min 17sec. Now, in taking a look at this English section at the bottom of the first page of this discourse, there are many more mistakes. Please start listening to the sound file at the 4:18 mark. This English audio is from Kolkata (11 Apr 1979), and the scanned page is from the book Ananda Vacanamrtam - 10 (chapter #3, “Parama Puruśa – the Primordial Cause”).

Red underlined words are not Baba’s

Look at the below scan: In just 2 lines of the newly reviewed English section of the discourse there are 16 wrong words that were used instead of Sadguru Baba’ original words. These red underlined terms are not present in Baba’s original English audio. Baba did not say these things in English, yet the publishers put them in the book. The time has come for margiis and Wts to remake all of Sadguru Baba’s book using the sound files of Baba’s discourses

Clear-cut case of mistake

(b) The red underlined words are wrong.
(c) You will not find these words in Bábá’s audio.
(d) This is a clear-cut case.

Bad outcome: Baba’s direct speech discarded

(b) In just 2 lines, they removed Baba’s original words and instead employed 16 wrong words.
(c) They did not use Baba’s original English words from His English audio.

At issue is that there is a stark disparity between what Baba actually spoke in English and what Tilaja Publications printed in the English edition, as the publishers discarded Baba’s original words. Kindly compare the printed words with the English Baba audio file (link below) of this same discourse.

The time has come for margiis and Wts to remake all of Sadguru Baba’s books using the sound files of Baba’s discourses.

Conclusion

As His disciples, Sadguru Baba has entrusted us with His divine discourses to lead humanity from darkness to light. So the fact that the printed AM books are not accurate depictions of Baba’s discourses is sinful. The time has come for margiis and Wts to remake all of Sadguru Baba’s book using the sound files of Baba’s discourses.

Not Baba's words

This above discourse was given by Sadguru Baba primarily in English, but Tilajala Publications did not print it in an accurate manner, even though this is the English edition, and Baba’s audio was given mostly in English. In the above AV book scan, the red underlined words are not Baba’s direct terms.

All this is extremely important because when sadhakas pick-up one of Baba’s books they expect to be reading Baba’s words. This is especially the case when Baba delivered His discourse primarily in English and the text is also mostly in English. Yet, as is shown above, we are not given Baba’s exact words - but rather something else in the name of Baba. It is not the direct speech of Parama Purusa Baba.

Same incorrect books Rudrananda reprints & sells

The discourses Tiljala Publications (TP) published in the Ananda Vacanamrtam series are filled with discrepancies and errors. This is readily apparent when comparing TP's printed AV books with what Baba spoke, i.e. the original sound files of those same discourses. And that deviation is the focal point of this letter. Bábá has spoken in a particular manner, but the publishers have printed something entirely different. Whatever Bábá spoke, they did not print verbatim in those books that were exclusively in English and Hindi. Unfortunately, Rudrananda's group reprints and sells those same wrong books in their own name. Sadly, they have not an iota of interest in fixing the discourses.

Yet another version of the Fake Bhukti Pradhan (BP) manual (Oct ‘19) was released by Tiljala, and here are some key points about it.

Overview of the various fake BP manuals

(A) This 2019 version is marked as the 2nd edition; the first edition was done in 2005 by Sambhutyananda (ISMUB Secy), while this second edition was published by Priyakrsnananda (ISMUB Secy).

Note: It should also be known that there are two other versions of the Fake BP which are both listed as first editions, Nov 1991 and Dec 1997. Sambhutyananda acted as Sarvatmananda’s chief stooge in creating the abominable 1997 Fake BP manual. That means there are four versions / editions in total. And this following letter only focuses on the latest edition, i.e. Oct 2019.

2019 Manual: a mash-up of “guidelines”

(B) One of the main problems with this manual is that they provide no citations. Thus, the reader has no way to distinguish between Baba’s guidelines given in Caryacarya vs what some Wt wrote down from memory on some scrap piece of paper etc. In the Preface they write that:

So the publishers are telling that this so-called manual includes guidelines from the following sources: (1) Caryacarya, (2) Procedural Orders, and (3) “instructions given by Rev. Baba from time to time collected from printed materials in different forms. Diaries and notes of different workers.”

Here it has to be noted that there is a heaven and hell difference between what was published in Caryacarya and what some Dada haphazardly wrote down in his diary. The pre-1990 Caryacarya books have been approved by Baba, whereas what some Dada wrote in his diary has never been properly vetted or reviewed. Lastly, is it not those same Wts who were “in and around Central Office” that are directly responsible for so much of the turmoil in AMPS since 1990.

The sum outcome is that all these things are mashed together without any references anywhere, in which case the reader has no idea what was given by Sadguru Baba in Caryacarya vs what some group oriented Wt has supposedly gotten from his diary. This in itself is enough to render this BP manual as inherently problematic.

Bogus rule: Local Wt controls the BP

(C) As we know, Baba has clearly given the the family side and sannyasi side of the organisation are independent of each other, yet are to work together in coordinated cooperation. That means that the family side is not subordinate to the Wt side; and, the Wt side is not subordinate to the family side. Both have their own independent value.

However, on page 5 of the Fake 2019 BP manual, it states that the local Wt will be in charge of the bhukti pradhan (BP):

The above statement from page 5 in the Fake 2019 BP manual directly contravenes Sadguru Baba’s order of coordinated cooperation between family margiis and Wts. Because as per the fake manual, the local Wt will control the BP, as if the BP is under the thumb of the Wt. But that is not the way it is supposed to work. The family side and the Wt side of AMPS are independent of each other. The family people and BPs are not subservient to the local Wt.

Conclusion

As Ananda Margiis, we are to uphold Sadguru Baba’s dharmic and teachings both for the immediate present as well as for generations to come. Unfortunately, the manner in which they are creating these Fake BP manuals wholly undermines this fundamental duty. Now is the time for sadhakas - whether they be family margiis or Wts - to demand that all the procedures and systems in our AMPS be aligned fully with AM ideology.

They think Baba is gone

The main ethic and spirit of bhakti in our AMPS is the feeling that “the all-knowing, omnipresent Parama Purusa Baba is with me, watching and helping me in all that I do.” This ideal is our daily approach. Yet, the first line of the Preface to the Fake BP Manual (2019) is, "Baba has left behind a vast worldwide organisation..." as if Baba is totally gone. This is a harmful outlook that wholly undermines the spiritual foundation of AMPS.

Just one creeper

The publisher of the 2019 Fake BP Manual is Priyakrsnananda. These days he is hovering around B group because they are giving him his bread, i.e. post of ISMUB Secy. Basically, Priyakrsnananda goes and live with whatever group is willing to give him shelter. Such a person has no ideology. Rather they are just like a creeper plant that will live and entangle itself with whatever will support it. Such is Priyakrsnananda’s unfortunate condition.
