Baba
REPLY TO TILJALA PUBLICATIONS PROPAGANDA

Namaskar,
Thank you for your interest in this important topic that deals with the
authenticity of Lord Shrii Shrii Ánandamúrtiji’s printed books.
PREVIEW:
1. Tiljala Publications prints AM books via
Bangla: English is translated into Bangla, and Bangla re-translated back
to English. Not direct transcriptions from the original audio files.
But that is the wrong approach.
2. If Baba spoke in Hindi similar events happened. Hindi discourse
translated in Bengali and then retranslated into Hindi and published in
book form. And that is the wrong approach.
3. The truth is that in THE early period, AM Publications had no means to record Baba’s audio discourses.
4. That time a special system was made: Sadhakas were taking
hand-written notes at DMC. Later Baba would edit their notes. Editing
was done in Bengali. That is why original Hindi and English discourses
were printed as being from the original Bengali. That was the right
approach.
5. Audio recording devices came into AM in 1958. Since then audio recordings were accepted as the original.
6. Recorded discourses were transcribed and printed directly from the
reel-to-reel tape. There was no need to edit in Bengali. They were
printed “as is.” That was the right approach.
7. After the arrival of reel-to-reel tapes, always the language in which
Baba delivered the discourse was accepted as the original language.
8. Baba’s final order and guideline is that
only those early DMC discourses, that were given before the use of audio
recordings in AM and were notes edited by Baba in Bengali, are taken as
original Bengali. That is from Subhasita Samgraha part 2 to Subhasita
Samgraha part 6.
9. Tiljala
Publications with their ulterior motive has been twisting this issue and
printing all the books via Bangla (i.e. Bangalisation method) for the
last 24 years. They don’t have any reply when margiis question them on
their wrongdoing.
10. Tiljala is citing this below incident with Ac Kishan Sood as their reply. But this is bogus.
11. Why is it bogus? Because Ac Kishan Soodji is recounting his story
based on point #4 and point #8 only (see above). And that fact is
already well-known since 1959, because that is when the Author's Note
was published & SS-2(H) was printed.
12. Tiljala Publications doesn't have any reply when margiis question
them on their wrongdoing of points: #1, #2, #9 (see above).
13. In conclusion, in a desperate manner, PRS Dada Kalyaneshvaranandji
is trying delude margiis & divert them from the main sinful act that
 Tiljala has done.
14. This is not a language issue; this issue is about the authenticity of Baba’s holy discourses.
FOR MORE DETAILS PLEASE READ BELOW
In the recent email, it describes how Ac Kishan Soodji had this question in mind when he raised this matter with Baba in 1978:
“When this question was raised by me I had gone through four parts of
the Subha’s’ita Samgraha which were available with me in printed form. I
used to wonder, how is that His discourses which were originally
delivered in Hindi, have been mentioned in the book printed in Hindi and
English as translated from Bengali Original.”
AM HAD NO TAPE RECORDER
Then Ac Soodji recounts how Baba gave the following reply:
“The DMC discourses were given in Hindi. In those days the Samgha had no
Tape Recorder. A group of five margiis used to sit in the front before
me during the DMCs and they would take notes of the speech in long hand.
Since those were Bengali speaking margiis...I would then have the
article translated in Bengali and rewrite it into the form of an essay.
This essay would then go for publication in Subha’s’ita Samgraha as
Bengali original. The Hindi and English version would go for publication
after getting translated from the original Bengali.”
By Acarya Kishan Soodji’s above statements, it is very clear how in
those early days when  Ananda Marga Publications had no access to audio
recording machines, then in select circumstances the aforesaid process
was going on.
HOW DADA K IS TRYING TO TWIST THE SITUATION
Now, however, Kolkata PRS Dada Kalyaneshvaranandji is trying to throw
sand in the eyes of margiis. Dadaji is writing as if this is a universal
approach for every discourse. At present Tiljala Publications is under
intense scrutiny, so in desperation – without having any other recourse –
they are trying to befool margiis in this way.
See here what Dada Kalyaneshvaranandji is writing:
“In the CAC meeting held on 2,3,4 June, 2014, Ac. Kishan Sood explained
one riddle – he himself faced -that how His Pravacans delivered in Hindi
are published as “translated from original Bengali” in Hindi and
Bengali versions of Subhasita Samgraha etc.”
TILJALA HAS BEEN SHY IN GIVING A REPLY
In Dada Kalyaneshvaranandji’s above statement, there are two main points that demand public review:
1. Nowadays, margiis are raising the point how Tiljala Publications is
resorting to Bangalisation methods in all their books – i.e. all books
are being translated via Bangla. And to date Dada K and Tiljala have
been shy in giving a reply.
Acarya Soodji’s above story clearly depicts how only the very early
books of the Subhasita Samgraha series were edited and finalised in
Bengali. This was the practical method given the limitations of the day.
So now Dada Kalyaneshvaranandji is writing as if this is applicable with
the entire Subhasita Samgraha series. But that is wrong.
THIS IS NOT A RIDDLE AT ALL, BUT DOCUMENTED FACT
2. Dada Kalyaneshvaranandji labeling this as a riddle, but this is not a
riddle at all. The matter is extremely clear. Baba’s “Authors Note” was
printed in the Hindi edition of Subhasita Samgraha part 2 decades and
decades ago. And in that Author’s Note, everything has been well
explained. There is nothing hidden and there is no riddle involved. That
matter is quite straightforward. So the above story should not be
treated as newly found wealth in the bottom of a castle. This is a
well-known fact. Here is the scan of Baba’s Author’s Note from Subhasita
 Samgraha Part 2 Hindi 1968 3rd edition:
So indeed it is well-known that Acarya Soodji’s above story is related
with a very limited number of books during a short time period.
DADA K AND TILJALA PUBLICATIONS HAVE TO ANSWER TO THIS:

WHY ARE THEY USING BANGALISATION METHODS WITH BABA’S RECORDED DISCOURSES
Dada Kalyaneshvaranandji and Tiljala / B group publications have to reply to this critical question:
What is the justification for the pervasive Bangalisation of Ananda Marga books when those discourses have been audio recorded.
Up till now they have not given any proper reply. All are waiting to hear from them.
Namaskar,
In Him,
Iishvara Sen

WEAPON TO FIGHT AGAINST THEFT

Preview:
1. Baba mostly delivered all DMC discourses for Subhasita Samgraha parts 1 – 6 in Hindi.
2. That was before audio recording devices were available in Ananda Marga.
3. Various margiis noted down Baba’s discourses at DMC and presented them to Baba for publication.
4. Those who noted down the discourses for SS-2 to SS-6 were native Bangla speakers so they wrote their notes in Bengali.
5. Those note-takers missed much of what Baba actually spoke.
6. So Baba worked with them in the ensuing days and weeks to make the discourses proper.
7. Because they were native Bangla speakers Baba worked with them in Bengali to finalise those discourses.
8. Baba’s review in Bengali was exhaustive and numerous sections were added.
9. So Baba included an Author’s Note in SS-2 indicating that although
the discourses were originally given at DMC in Hindi, one should treat
the printed Bengali version as the original because an audio recording
was not made of the original Hindi DMC discourse and Baba made many
updates to their notes in Bengali.
Note 1: Most are aware that this issue has been fought over for 24
years. Those with deeper interest should please write us – and we will
provide you with all the relevant documents.
Note 2: This is not a language issue; rather, maintaining the authenticity of Baba’s discourses is what is at stake.
Namaskar.
Back in the early days, before there was the ability and technology in
Ananda Marga to audio record discourses, Baba delivered DMC pravacans
that became part of the Subhasita Samgraha series of publications –
specifically part 1 to part 6.
WHAT HAPPENED BEFORE DISCOURSES WERE RECORDED ON AUDIO
In particular, those discourses of Subhasita Samgraha parts 2 – 6 were
originally given by Baba in Hindi at the DMC venue. Those discourses
were not recorded on audio, as reels and cassettes were still not
available those days in Ananda Marga. So some people were assigned to
note down the discourses with pen and paper. Since those note-takers
could not properly write down all that Baba spoke, it was needed to
check over the accuracy and completeness of their notes. Baba had to
expound greatly on the topic as the Bengali notes of Har Govind Mandal
ji and Sushil Dhar ji were just bits and pieces of what Baba had
actually spoken.
Now here comes more about the discourses in SS parts 2 – 6.
JAMALPUR RAILWAY OFFICE LUNCH HOUR DISCOURSE WORK
Here is the story how both Har Govind Mandal ji and Sushil Dhar ji could
only note down bits and pieces of what Baba had actually spoken at the
time of DMC. They were native Bangla speakers who would regularly take
dictation from Baba in the Jamalpur railway office during lunchtime.
In the case of those DMC discourses that eventually became Subhasita
Samgraha parts 2 – 6, Har Govind Mandal ji and Sushil Dhar ji also noted
down Baba's discourse when it was originally given at DMC. But they
were unable to...
