Multiculturalism: defective approach
Namaskár,
In the article “Celebrating World Cultures Through Neohumanist Education”, the writer not only appreciates this fake idea of “multiculturalism”, but enthusiastically presents it as “closest to our Neohumanistic approach”. Our AMPS magazine is claiming that something completely against Ananda Marga teachings is very close to neo-humanism.

Ananda Marga philosophy says, "Culture is the collective form of all the expressions of life." (1)
Why “intercultural curriculum” is bogus
It is described in the article that “intercultural curriculum” has been introduced at the Gradinita Rasarit Kindergarten, Romania. The article says that so-called “intercultural education” is close to neo-humanism. Whereas the fact of the matter is that there is no concept of “intercultural” in neo-humanism, and the whole idea of educational pedagogy based on “intercultural acceptance” is miles away from the neo-humanistic ideals. Because Human culture is one.
Ananda Marga philosophy teaches us, "Human culture is...one and indivisible. The use of expressions such as Hindu culture, Muslim culture, Indian culture or European culture is absurd. Those who hold these partisan ideas are not well-wishers of humanity." (2)
How human culture is one
The supporters of political isms do not even hesitate to commit heinous acts for the sake of their ism. In the medieval period communalism dragged humanity to the nadir of degradation. Incredibly, a few people in the twentieth century still try to revive medieval communal feelings. Today people who make a habit of delivering high-sounding lectures do not hesitate to form unholy alliances with antisocial elements for the sake of their ism. We can therefore say without any doubt that they are under the evil influence of the static force.

No concept of multiculturalism in Neo-humanism / Prout
The flawed idea of multiculturalism is based on the idea that there are different groups of people and all groups should “tolerate” each other and leave peacefully. The reality is that all are the progeny of Parama Purusa. According to neo-humanism and Prout, all human beings are brothers and sisters. The entire human family is one, and there cannot be multiple cultures. Thus there is no question of multiple cultures. Because human culture is one.
Conclusion
According to Ananda Marga philosophy, human culture is singular in nature. There is only one human culture. Dividing humans into multiple cultures is against the tenets and ideals of neo-humanism. Dada S has published an article highlighting a new curriculum based on multiculturalism for kindergarteners. Although the article boasts that the new curriculum is based on neo-humanism, the fact of the matter is that multiculturalism is against neo-humanism, because human culture is one.

Ananda Marga philosophy guides us, “According to PROUT all of society has the same culture. There are local variations in the mode or state of cultural expression, but the expression is universal. While everybody eats, some eat by hand, others by stick and still others by spoon. Indian dance is based on Mudrá or dance postures, and European dance is based on rhythm, but they do not represent two different cultures.” (5)
Prout philosophy states, “The universal society has only one culture. It has humanitarian value at its very fundament. Human society throughout the universe has only one human sentiment, and that sentiment makes people laugh in happiness and shed tears in sorrow. They try to help others, form society, live peacefully and die peacefully. This is what is called human culture. We should encourage this fundamental culture. It is a connecting link between one person and another, between so-called nation and nation.” (6)
Ananda Marga philosophy guides us, “Although according to perfect logic the culture of all humanity is one and indivisible, the exponents of isms do not understand this. They prefer to assert that the different sets of script and language, behaviour and habit, and local variations in expression, are actually the constituents of human culture.” (7)

Floating in Your thought waves
Note: Only those bhaktas who feel a spiritual vibration in their heart can understand this song in the depths of their core.
“Karuńáketan krpá karo more, tomár tarei dharáy ásá…” (Prabhat Samgiita #4303)
Purport:
O’ Parama Purusa, the Abode of Karuna, please shower Your grace on me. I have come on this earth for You to please You, by my sadhana and seva . There is no other purpose to take birth. In this world, there is happiness and sorrow, but for me You are the Polestar. All my joy and sadness, pleasure and pain, is related with You. Some may become elated or suffer for various worldly reasons. But for me, my everything, the full spectrum of my feelings, is related with thinking of and ideating on You. When I feel close to You that is my bliss and when I feel distant then I cry in despair. My smiles of jubilation and tears of pain are all centering around You.
O’ Parama Purusa, since the dawn or reason of creation, I am floating in Your thought waves. The way You think is the way I am floating through saincara and pratisaincara. And now I have reached in this stage. All along You are with me. Always You have surrounded me in all the directions with Your ota and prota yoga. My position is just like a drop or bubble in the vast ocean that is floating in You. So whatever I do and whatever I think, You are always with me. You never leave me in any occasion. Always I am in You.
O’ Parama Purusa, the Great Ocean of Compassion and Mercy, You are the Controller of the universe. This unit being is expressing its surrender by doing sastaunga pranam to You, please accept it. The Ultimate Destination of the highest prema - ragatmika bhakti - all the desires, hopes, and longings of the physical, psychic, and spiritual worlds are satiated after realizing You. Baba, You are everything for me….

Physical reminder for right ideation
Namaskar,
In spiritual life, ideation on the Great is very important; Cosmic ideation is the main thing, but all too often human beings forget the Supreme Entity in the course of their daily duties. In His discourse, Baba has given a very simple method for sadhakas to remember their Guru mantra. Baba’s guideline is that to remember anything then one should associate it with a particular physical action.
For example, when entering or leaving the home then it is important to repeat Guru mantra. But often we forget, while only sometimes we remember. The solution then is to employ a physical action and that will trigger your memory to recite Guru mantra. So when leaving or entering the house, then do namaskar mudra before touching the door. And this namaskar mudra will automatically alert the mind to recite Guru mantra. So the first step is to cultivate the habit of doing namaskar mudra before touching the door. Once this habit is established, then you will be regular in repeating Guru mantra when entering and leaving the house. And the operative point is the use of the namaskar mudra as a reminder for doing Guru mantra.
Naturally, this same technique can be instilled at various junctures throughout the day such as when getting on a bicycle, taking food, going to sleep, answering the phone etc. When a physical action like namaskar mudra is done before those engagements, then one will automatically recite Guru mantra. Try this in your own life and see how it goes.
Without the use of a physical reminder, then most of the time sadhakas forget their Guru mantra. And that is a problem because imbibing the mind with Cosmic ideation is the main essence in the life of a sadhaka.
Ananda Marga Caryacarya states, “Namaskára is done by bringing the palms together and touching the ájiṋá cakra [the mid-point of the eyebrows] with the thumbs.” (1)
In Him,
Viniit Deva
