Our PP Dada
Note: This letter is only for those who have reverence for Sadguru Baba Shrii Shrii Anandamurti ji and try to follow His Ananda Marga ideology.
Namaskar,
Ananda Marga ideology guides us, “You are to attend Dharmacakra weekly. These are all codes of discipline as prescribed by Bhágavata Dharma. You must follow these codes. There cannot be any concession in this respect, rather concession is dangerous…One may be a king or may be a very poor man, but the code of dharma is equally applicable to all. In this matter, nobody can claim any special concession or favour.” (1)
Baba’s above guideline is quite clear. Every disciple of Baba including PP must adhere to the codes of dharma – i.e. Ananda Marga ideological principles. No one in our Ananda Marga is above these practices, regardless of their post or birth etc.

PP skipped many dharmic practices
Let us recall the history and never forget that from 1990 all the way up to his death on 15th October 2008, i.e. 18 years, PP Shraddhananda skipped so many fundamental dharmic practices. And here we are talking about both PPs.
(a) PP Shraddhananda & Vishvadevananda ji never attended / attends dharmacakra;
(b) PP Shraddhananda ji never sang Prabhat Samgiita;
(c) PP Shraddhananda & Vishvadevananda ji never danced / dances or sang / sings collective kiirtan;
(d) PP Shraddhananda & Vishvadevananda ji never participated / participates in akhanda kiirtan;
(e) PP Shraddhananda & Vishvadevananda ji never did / does collective madhura sadhana;
(f) PP Shraddhananda & Vishvadevananda ji never attended / attends paincajanya;
(g) PP Shraddhananda & Vishvadevananda ji never sat / sits on the same seat for Guru Puja with others as per Caryacarya part 1.
(h) PP Shraddhananda ji never raised the slogan, Parama Pita Baba Ki – Jai, for Baba;

Hypocritical: PP Vishvadevananda
The current PP Vishvadevananda raises the jai slogan during his (PP Vishvadevananda’s) own lectures when PP Vishvadevananda is transitioning from one topic to the next. But when entering the pandal then PP Vishvadevananda keeps mum as the whole pandal raises the jai slogan. So in that circumstance PP Vishvadevananda just receives the jail slogan; his approach is hypocritical - sometimes he is raising the jai slogan and other times he is receiving the jai slogan when others raise it.
While on the dais, PP Vishvadevananda often sings a Prabhat Samgiita by himself, and then during other times such as in DMS or reporting, he does not sing Prabhat Samgiita with everyone else. Rather he demands others to sing Prabhat Samgiita for him. All in all, PP Vishvadevananda’s dealing on these matters is quite hypocritical.
Dark future
PP Purodha Pramukha did not adhere to the principles of dharma like attending dharmacakra. Yet that is exactly Baba’s warning. On points of dharma, whether one is a king, prime minister, president or even purodha pramukha, there must not be any concession.

Ananda Marga ideology says, “One may be a king or may be a very poor man, but the code of dharma is equally applicable to all. In this matter, nobody can claim any special concession or favour.” (2)
Remember Baba did not make a special, separate Caryacarya book for PP. So PP dada has to follow the same codes of Caryacarya as margiis do.

How far our PP: dharmic - or not
History is very important - both in individual and collective life. In one's personal life, people remember not to commit and suffer from the same mistake which they made in the past. Similarly, in collective life, the history of a country, society, or organisation is of great value. Those who do not pay attention to history commit the same mistakes which their ancestors did. They cannot proceed in a very safe manner.
Thus everyone, regardless of their post or position, must follow bhagavata dharma. Baba gives the following warning.
Ananda Marga ideology says, “There cannot be any concession [regarding the code of dharma] in this respect, rather concession is dangerous.” (3)
Sadly, due to not following the dharmic code of attending dharmacakra, PP fell. Since his demise, Shraddhananda may not have gotten mukti. That is Guru’s strict warning: If you do not follow dharmic principles like attending dharmacakra, then you are not going to get human life, let alone mukti or moksa.

Supreme Command says, "...Disobedience to this command is nothing but to throw oneself into the tortures of animal life for crores of years..." (4)
Conclusion
So the tragedy is that Shraddhananda ji must have suffered in this way. Emotionally, we may not like to think and talk in this manner, but prakrti does not care about our emotions. Prakrti follows the rule made by Parama Purusa. Whether we like to consider it or not, but Shraddhananda may not have gotten mukti (liberation). Today, he may be struggling as wildlife. Because on points of dharma there should not be any compromise or concession, yet PP made concessions and departed from the code of dharma by not attending dharmacakra.
This shows that for a long time PP was not following Sixteen Points because dharmacarka is a part of Sixteen Points. Not obeying is sinful.
Baba says that we should not forget the history so we have to talk about the first PP as well - i.e. PP Shraddhananda ji.

How PP degraded
The confused PP Shraddhananda hallucinated by thinking that everyone was raising the Parama Pita Baba Ki – Jai slogan for PP Shraddhananda himself; PP Shraddhananda mistakenly assumed that the margiis were chanting the slogan in his own honour – i.e. the honour of PP Shraddhananda;
In a similar fashion, PP Shraddhananda was receiving the VSS salute to the Divine Father – and this confused PP hallucinated that this salute was for him, when really it is for Baba;
PP Shraddhananda was giving marriage blessings as if he was Sadguru Baba.
These wrongs against dharma were committed by PP Shraddhananda in the physico-psycho-spiritual realm. Why? Because he was handled by Sarvatmananda who set the protocol for PP’s behaviour.
Plus, in the social sphere, PP (Shraddhananda) was convinced not to use the phone or email in order to show that he was just like Baba. But Baba is Parama Purusa so He knew everything and therefore He did not need a phone to receive any news etc. As an ego boost, PP Shraddhananda hallucinated he could do the same thing.

Initially, because of Sarvatmananda’s approach, and later on because of Rudrananda's influence, PP Shraddhananda was internally convinced that he was above the level of human beings. PP Shraddhananda suffered from the delusion that he himself was sitting on the seat of Parama Purusa and receiving the salute to the Divine Father i.e. Parama Purusa. So there was no need for him to follow dharmic codes like the point of dharmacakra, kiirtana, and Guru puja. Sadly, that was PP Shraddhananda’s dealing. All engineered by the command of his various handlers like Sarvatmananda & Rudrananda etc.

Why fanaticism for rational ideas is very good
Here is the English translation of part of Baba’s special discourse of 30 December 1970 Patna:
"One, who claims to be a pandit (scholar) in twenty shastras (scriptures) and is Mahamahopaddhyay (i.e.highest degree of scholarship like D. Lit.) can never realize Parama Purusa (God), but an illiterate man who does not know even the alphabet ka, kh, (in Hindi) or alif, be, pe, te (in Urdu) can get Him."
"So, for this, and you know, every work needs determination, not only good works but bad also. Those who are determined to do bad work become dangerous and create terror for the world. In contrast, those who are determined to do good work become treasures for the world; no one can prevent their progress. Hence, there should also be a determination to attain Parama Purusa: "I will get Him, certainly I will get Him," like this you will get success. So, one should have this type of determination, this is a type of spiritual fanaticism, not religious fanaticism. Religious fanaticism is bad as it leads to the formation of groups. Spiritual fanaticism (teaches), "I will do everything for the sake of ideology. Whether I live or die for my ideology, it is the same to me. The most precious thing for me is my ideology." So, remember, only this type of determination is necessary."
"This way is ok and that way is also ok, I can go forward or backward." Those who think, "Whether I should eat or not, I should do this work or not," are always doubtful. They cannot do great work. There should not be any doubt in life, no doubt at all in any field. If at any time, there is hesitation in the mind, keep one idea and remove the other by kicking it away."

"When there are two ideas in the mind, hold onto only one and be ready to die for it. Regarding the second, third, or fourth ideas, kick and remove them from the path of your life. Do you follow?"
[Margiis: "Yes."]
"Become determined and strong people like this. It is said, There is only one vow of human life, and that is to get Parama Purusa. There is no other vow. The vow is only one, the great vow - to get Parama Purusa. This is the vow of life: I do not know anything else. Therefore, for this I have expressed the need for a type of spiritual fanaticism. My aim is Paramatma, my goal is Parama Purusa - not any thing else. I will address Parama Purusa by a single word not two."

Note: If your doctor doing surgery is not strict in following the medical codes, conduct, and protocol then will you like to go to him for open heart surgery. Because that doctor is sloppy - and not fanatical about following all the guidelines. So you will not use that doctor as you want a doctor who is fanatical in his medical work - very accurate and strict. That is the type of fanaticism needed in Ananda marga also. Because Ananda marga is rational. Since the followers of Ananda marga are very strict in rational ideas then the society at large will greatly benefited.

Easiest way to become great
Ananda Marga ideology states, “However little one's capacity might be, if one constantly remembers that Parama Puruśa is always with him or her, that they are in the closest contact with Parama Puruśa, they will be able to do everything. They are not as small as they think themselves to be. And as long as they remember this closest association with Him, they can do much more than ordinary human beings. When this idea becomes permanently established in their minds, they become great. This is why no one should be disappointed or depressed in any circumstances; let everyone constantly perform great deeds, remembering that the flow of their capacity is coming from Parama Puruśa, and thus they can do everything.” (1)
Note: Commonly people think of themselves as weak and isolated. That is because in that moment they do not have a connection with Parama Purusa in their mind. So they cannot draw upon the cosmic energy from Parama Purusa. The moment one starts thinking about Him and makes a link with Parama Purusa then they become very strong. This can be felt and tested when facing tough situations or when confronting someone strong than yourself, such as when surrounded by a bunch of thugs. Then certainly those negative, anti-social elements will be defeated and victory will be attained. The connection is very simple: Just repeated your Ista mantra and you will be connected to Parama Purusa.
