Note: This letter is only for those who have reverence for Sadguru Baba and try to learn and follow His Ananda Marga ideology.
Namaskar,
Look here below: Everyone is doing sadhana while Rasasiddhananda is
thinking all kinds of mundane thoughts and then suddenly the thought
came in his mind to take a selfie. All this occurred in the middle of
dharmacakra.
See the dada on the right side. That is Rasasiddhananda and he has his
eyes open during dharmacakra. Everyone else is very sincere in their
sadhana and he is just sitting there as a sham - a phony display of
sadhana.

Then Rasasiddhananda took more selfies. After that Rasasiddhananda put
his selfies on Facebook, so others should emulate his behaviour - which
Baba forbids. During sadhana if other thoughts are coming one should
avoid them and repeat the mantra. But this Rasasiddhananda is doing the
exact opposite - he is sitting in sadhana and doing something else. Here
below Baba condemns such type of dealing.
Ananda Marga ideology states, “Suppose someone is sitting in meditation
for one or two hours and thinking all sorts of undesirable thoughts –
this is worse than not doing sádhaná at all because in this way the
Sádhaka’s mind becomes even more degraded. There is a local proverb,
“Gela bhaesá pánii me khuńt́ásamet” – when the buffalo runs into the
pond, it drags its binding rope and stake with it.” (1)
Recurring sin like demon Ravana
There are two mistakes:
(a) in the name of sadhana he is just sitting there
in a hypocritical manner at the front of the room so no one can see that
his eyes are open;
(b) he is posting and publicly showing his negative deed, which
Baba prohibits, on Facebook. Because in His chapter on education, Baba
states that if guardians cannot control their drinking or smoking then
at least they should not smoke cigarettes or drink alcohol in front of
the children as this sets a bad example on those impressionable youths.
Suppose in the worst case scenario Rasasiddhananda really cannot do
sadhana, and he never does sadhana, and he is always doing something
else in the name of sadhana. In spite of that, as long as he is in
uniform he should participate in dharmacakra in the proper way and not
start talking selfies with his eyes open during dharmacakra and putting
that selfie up on Facebook. By this way Rasasiddhananda is giving the
negative message to others to do the same thing, as if this is proper
sadhana etc. If you deeply analyse the situation, his sin is multiplied.
It is just like mythological demon Ravana who committed the sin of
abducting Sita while dressed in sannyasi garb. This had a recurring
negative effect for generations. Here a similar event is going on.
Rasasiddhananda did wrong and he is monk, but then he put it on Facebook
to show the whole world, thereby multiplying his sin by misguiding
others.
Now my request to sincere Wts and margiis is to guide him to not do such
things. If Rasasiddhananda cannot manage avadhuta life then he should
give up his dress and leave, otherwise he is harming AM by his actions.
He is so debauched he is incriminating himself; this is the extreme
epitome of nihilism.
Bhaktas & true Wts never glorify themselves
Prabhat Samgiita #0337 gives the guideline to never glorify oneself.
“Kono avakáshe káháro sakáshe, nijere pracár karibo ná, ámi,
nijere pracár karibo ná
esechi karite tomár karma,tava váńii mor práńera dharma
shayane svapane ninde jágarańe, tomá vai kichu smaribo ná ámi,
tomá vai kichu smaribo ná” (Prabhat Samgiita #0337)
Purport #0337: O’ Parama Purusa, before anybody I will not glorify
myself, I will not do self-publicity. I have come on this earth to serve
all, and do the work which You have allotted me. Your teachings are my
everything. In my wakeful state, dream, and sleep I will think about You
only. I will not ideate on anything else. I will never glorify myself
in any shape or form. I will sing Your glory, I will not do
self-propaganda, O’ Parama Purusa….
The above song (Prabhat Samgiita #0337) teaches us that one should
always propagate Ananda Marga ideology and sing the glory of Parama
Purusa, and never glorify oneself.

No one likes to hear the self-praise of others
Ananda Marga ideology says, "“Kiirttaniiyah sadáharih”. Kiirtana should
be done on Hari and on no other entity. One should not praise oneself or
any other person. There are many people who are very fond of praising
themselves by telling everyone what wonderful things they have done,
but, as mentioned in this sloka, kiirtana is not for one’s own self but
for Hari. Even though people are taught to do kiirtana for Hari, they
still make the mistake of praising themselves too much. Sometimes their
self-praise is so intense that others are obliged to say, “Please stop
praising yourself so much.” They forget that their self-applause is
rather boring for others. Human beings should realize that no one likes
to hear the self-praise of others." (2)
