Trick of dada Sarvatmananda

Note: This letter is only for those who have reverence for Sadguru Baba Shrii Shrii Anandamurti ji and try to follow His Ananda Marga ideology.

Namaskar,

After 1990, Dada Sarvatmananda collected so many man-made essays about Bengal and hastily published them as Prout in a Nutshell parts 19 and 20 in order to push his agenda and itinerary of Bangalisation. Side by side, Dada Sarvatmananda intentionally dismissed Baba’s recorded talks on samaj, history, and approved field notes about non-Bengali areas; Sarvatmananda purposely kept those talks on samaj and history out of Baba's books. This letter details how this was done.

Unapproved materials printed in PNS series

Wherever Sadguru Baba visited, He talked about the history, natural surroundings, tales, and key points of development of that place and region. And when the various samaj secretaries were attending regular reporting and classes, Baba would educate them about their samajas and give them directives as well. This was Baba’s natural manner: He did this everywhere and with various samaj leaders during reporting. By this way samaj members gained great insight into their samaj.

Yet Sarvatmananda stuck his sword of Bangalisation into this process. Sarvatmananda included only those tales and facts which Amara Bengali samaj members noted down from Baba - along with many other fictitious things as well. Finally, Sarvatmananda gave the order to have those notes printed in Guru’s name and published in the Prout in a Nutshell series.

In stark contrast, Sarvatmananda instructed those margiis from non-Bengali samajas to print the notes they took from Baba in their own name - not in Baba’s name. And those were never included in the Prout in a Nutshell series. So see the radical difference. Baba’s teachings about Bengal plus some unapproved material were printed in His divine name and included in Prout books, and what Baba spoke about other samajas was essentially cast aside. Many of those samaj secretaries lost their notes over time and in some cases a booklet or book was published – but not in Guru’s name.

Imposed inferiority complex on non-Bengali samajas

Whereas the notes about Amara Bengali samaj plus also other unapproved materials were promptly archived, treated as Guru’s word, and placed into His books on Prout. While the vast majority of notes about other samajas were treated as the alienated step-child. In this manner, Sarvatmananda got success in his venture of Bangalisation. In so doing, he imposed an inferiority complex on all other samajas because the history and talks on those samajas was lost and destroyed while the history and talks on Bengal were placed on a high pedestal in Guru’s name.

Even well-educated and intelligent people started to believe that Prout teachings were solely for Amara Bengali samaj and that Prout must be established in Bengal first. All other samajas were “second rate”. In this way, they convinced many that all monies collected around the globe in the name of Prout should be funneled to Bengal. As if the Amara Bengali samaj was special and unparalleled - i.e. above all the rest. This was the tainted outlook that Sarvatmananda willfully imposed.

Sarvatmananda put Baba’s teachings in Raghunath’s name

Moreover, to downgrade what Baba spoke about non-Bengali samajas and their histories etc, Sarvatmananda had those talks on samaj and history printed in Ac. Raghunath's name - not the name of Guru. This was Dada's special tactic to diminish the stature of other samajas and place Bengal on top.

Verily, a step-child relation is maintained with all non-Bengali samajas like: Angika, Magahi, Bhojapuri, Maithile, Tulu, Singhalii, Tamil, Dogari, Assi, Borro, Vraja, Na'gapuriya', Sahya'dri, Kosala, Ma'lavii, Konkan, Chattisgarhii, Baghelli, Marwarrii, Lepca, Utkal, Sarkar, Paharrii, Gujjara, Kacii etc.

By publishing Baba's talks on samaj and history about non-Bengali samajas in Ac. Raghunath's name, Sarvatmananda created a lot of confusion. People do not even know that this is Baba’s book, i.e. the talks on samaj and history were given by Baba. They are not something that Ac. Raghunath wrote. And still today this confusion is in vogue. So everyone should be aware about the fact that the book about the history of various samajas that was printed in the name of Raghunath is actually a collection of Baba's original talks on samaj and history.

Even senior sadhakas fell into this trap

Even senior margiis and Wts, like Sister Gayattrii and Dada Bhaskarananda, fell into this trap. Not only that, they became two of the most outspoken advocates for treating Amara Bengali samaj as the top, with no rivals in sight. The brain-trust behind this entire misconception is Sarvatmananda. By this narrow-minded sentiment, Dada did untold harm to our Prout movement and sidelined countless peoples and communities etc.

Still today, there are representatives and leaders of the various samajas who can confirm all of the above. They saw first-hand how this unfolded and how Baba’s teachings on other samajas were tossed aside in favour of materials about the Amara Bengali samaj.

Conclusion

We should ensure that dogmatic approaches like Bangalisation are terminated so we can present Sadguru Baba's teachings in proper form to the present and future generations.

One of the groups has always glorified the words Baba spoke in Bengali and printed them properly; whereas, they left whatever Baba spoke in non-Bengali languages lying in the dust. When Baba spoke in Bengali about His samaj system or stories about Bengal, then they always made sure those were published in Baba’s books.

Those grand guidelines

This is a reminder about what was witnessed by thousands of margiis who personally attended DMC’s during Baba’s northern India tour in the first few months of 1984. Plus there are several thousand more margiis who did not attend but heard all about this grand tour. Baba toured in 1984, but unfortunately the many talks on samaj and history given on that lengthy tour were never printed in His name.

बाबा, तुम सर्वव्यापी हो

प्रभात सङ्गीत 4537 तुमी नेई कोन खाने गो, बोलो मोर, बोलो मोरे….

भावार्थ

बाबा ! कृपा कर मुझे यह तो बताओ कि तुम कहाॅं नहीं हो ? तुम कहाॅं नहीं हो, बताओ तो ? गली के किस कोने और किस सूनी जगह में तुम नहीं हो ? हे मेरे प्रभु ! तुम तो हर जगह हो। मैं जहाॅं कहीं भी देखता हूॅं दसों दिशाओं में तुम्हें ही पाता हॅूं। तुम समुद्र की तली में, नदी में और पर्वर्तों की ऊँची ऊँची चोटियों पर भी हो।

हे परमसत्ता ! तुम आग में और वायु में हो। मेरे ह्रदय के भीतर सबसे पास और दूर नीले आकाश में भी सभी जगह हो। तुम धरती पर भी हो और दूर की नीहारिका में भी। आकाश-गंगा के साथ ही साथ विशाल पेड़ों की जड़ों में भी तुम हो। हे दिव्यसत्ता ! तुम हर जगह हो। तुम आग उगलते मरुस्थलों में तो हो ही, दूर दूर तक फैले समुद्रों और हरे भरे खेतों में भी सब जगह हो। बाबा ! तुम वहाॅं भी हो जहाॅं भयङ्कर अँधेरा छाया रहता है | तुम कहीं आते-जाते नहीं हो क्योंकि तुम तो पूरी सृष्टि के प्रत्येक कण में व्याप्त और तृप्त हो।

हे सर्वव्यापी सत्ता ! हे बाबा ! अनेक लोग तुम्हारी खोज में अनेक कठिनाइयाॅं झेलते हुए एक तथाकथित तीर्थ से दूसरे तीर्थ को आते जाते रहते हैं। वे न केवल अपने ही क्षेत्र में तुम्हें ढूढ़ते हैं वरन दूर दूर के तथाकथित तीर्थ स्थानों पर भी खोजते हैं। वे हर जगह, चारों ओर व्यर्थ ही बाहरी संसार में तुम्हें खोजते है | तुम्हारा "महाप्रयाण" मनाने के लिए भी भागते फिरते हैं | पर दुर्भाग्य है कि ये लोग अपने हृदय की गहराई में तुम्हें नहीं तलाशते। बाहरी संसार में तुम्हारी तलाश में एक स्थान से दूसरे स्थान को भटकते हुए कष्ट उठाते हैं | और अपना कीमती समय नष्ट करते हैं, फिर भी तुम्हें नहीं पाते। वे जो सच्चे, धार्मिक और सद् गुणी लोग होते हैं वे अपने हृदय और मन के भीतर साधना , श्रवण, मनन , निदिध्यासन, कीर्तन और ध्यानके द्वारा तुम्हें पा लेते हैं । इस प्रकार के भक्त अनुभव करते हैं कि तुम तो हमेशा ही उनके साथ हो।

बाबा ! तुम सर्वव्यापी हो, परमपुरुष हो, तारकब्रह्म हो। अपनी अहैतुकी कृपा से, मुझे तुम कभी अकेला नहीं छोड़ते, अपनी गोद में हमेशा लिए हो।

== Section 3: Important Teaching ==

Samadhi in materialism

Ananda Marga philosophy says, "Persons who are self-centered (Khuda parasta), don't have Paramatman as their goal, but something else. Outwardly they say that Paramatman should be obtained but in their inner mind they have the desire for something else. Such people who outwardly say that Paramatman should be obtained but in the inner mind they desire for fame, riches, have the crude object as their goal. Whatever the inner mind says is the goal of the Jiiva (microcosm). Whatever is the feeling in the external mind is not the goal. But in the inner mind, because of his goal being the crude object his ultimate achievement is known as Prakrtiliina. Prakrti means the phenomenal world. Their existence will be transformed into the phenomenal world i.e. the conscious man gets transformed into crude object. There is one more word for the Samadhi in the Prakrta Shakti and that is Jada Samadhi. Jada Samadhi is very much below human existence and to be free from that is also very difficult. After crores of years there will be human life. Just see how dangerous it is! So with Parama Puruśa, don't have two personalities, inside something and outside something else. Become the same as you are within. Entire mental structure, entire ectoplasmic stuff will be converted into the quinquelemental world." (1)

Note: Unfortunately, these days under the negative influence of capitalism, human beings have degenerated to the level of animals in that they are equally self-centered, living only for themselves, and not caring about others. In (a) capitalist countries and (b) metropolitan cities around the globe, this problem is prevalent. People are so self-centered that they never care about others - not even their own offspring. Such selfish people are worse than animals. This entire scene is the negative outcome of capitalism, which itself converts humans into beggars and beasts. Their selfish mentality is the root cause of all the problems. In the end they will be metamorphosed into crude objects.
