Baba has given very clear instructions about our Ananda Marga children’s homes. The main ethic is that when those home boys and girls reach 18 years of age then they should become male sannyasis or female sannyasinis and dedicate themselves to a life of sadhana, service, and sacrifice. That is the chief aim as given by Baba for our children’s homes. So from the time when they are very young, those kids are to be raised and guided to lead a spiritual life - based on all aspects of Sixteen Points. Then, by the age of 18, they are ready to go directly into Wt training.

Exploitation of home girls: work outside as servant
Sadly, nowadays, some home girls are working outside as servants, yet Baba never wanted His children to have an outside job while living in an Ananda Marga children’s home. But look what is going on these days. Didi Ananda Kaoshikii runs the children’s home in Jharsukhada / Jharsaguda as her own business, i.e. place of profit. Every girl in Didi’s home works outside to earn money for Didi to amass. Essentially, they bring money to Didi Ananda Kaoshikii and she enjoys her life. Now she never has to do a hard day’s work; Didi leads a luxurious life. Her children’s home girls work as servants outside to earn money, and Didi grabs all their pay. And now Didiji has a fancy car that she drives around. This is way above the standard of living as most do not even have a motorbike. The worst part is that those so-called orphan kids are exploited, and Didi snatches all their money.
Children forced to do unethical jobs
Didi Ananda Kaoshikii has also started a business where her home girls operate a beauty parlor. They specialise in wedding arrangements where they decorate the hall and style the hair of the bride and bridesmaids etc. This is yet another way that she exploits them to earn money.
Didiji’s real duty is to raise them in a spiritual environment and warn and educate those so-called orphans about the dangers of pseudo-culture, but the opposite is happening. Instead Didiji is indoctrinating those helpless children into the minefield of materialistic pseudo-culture.
Not only that, Didiji contravenes her Wt conduct rules by keeping her laokik father living along with her. All in all, she is running a scam and making margiis look foolish. Because margiis support her thinking she is running an upstanding children’s home, and in reality Didi is doing the opposite.

Problems with our AMPS children’s homes are rampant
Sadly, the problems with our Ananda Marga children’s homes are rampant and evident across all levels.
There are poor living conditions in various children’s homes, and the outcome is not good. For example, all children from our Ananda Marga children’s home in Mumbai have gotten married; not a single one has become a Wt. This trend started with Didi Ananda Kaoshikii’s approach and supervision. And all the girls from the Varanasi children’s home left their Wt-ship after becoming didi because they were not raised properly.
Didis watching dirty films
The common trend amongst Didis - like Ananda Kaoshikii - is to go against Ananda Marga conduct rules by passing the evening watching TV and Bollywood films etc. After viewing all those negative movies their mind gets occupied with those thoughts and they play those same lewd games amongst Didis and children.
How & why it is nepotism
The Didis running children’s homes keep many children yet handpick one to be their most darling, cherished male child. Then nepotism starts and other kids are left by the wayside. Those kids are forced to do all sorts of chores while Didi’s handpicked child lives as a king. And that kingly child suffers from a superiority complex as others have an inferiority complex. The situation is appalling. No animal does like this what to say about true human beings. Those who do this type of nepotism with innocent kids are a slur in the name of Ananda Marga.
Didis are extremely insecure about their future. This is the reason every didi is making one child their best child who will call them mommy or ma. In every children’s home one child will be the favorite of didi who will call her mommy.

She calls Wt N as "papa"
Wt N is a monk and Didi Ananda Kalayanmaya is a nun a didi - a dedicated sannyasini - but both have underworld relations since long. Earlier they wanted to keep it a secret, until finally they felt it was useless to keep it hidden. So they picked one child, and Didi started raising the child and teaching the child to call her mommy. And she indoctrinated that child by showing the photo of Wt N and telling the child that this is your father. So Didi Ananda Kalyanmaya’s child, a little girl named Prachiti, calls her mommy and calls N. Papa.
In this affair of Wt N and Ananda Kalayanmaya, the child is getting exploited. From time to time, Wt N comes and stays and gives special care to the child. So Didi Ananda Kalayanmaya tells everyone that this child is “the symbol of our family trio.” By this way, she is indirectly projecting the idea that, “This is my husband.” This makes her happy.
If one married couple does like this that is ok, but it is so abhorrent that two Ananda Marga Wts - a monk and a nun - are doing like this: leading hypocritical renunciate lives externally and behind the scenes having dirty relations.

Wt conduct rules
Here are some of the Wt rules of conduct that Didis must follow.
- "One should attract others by one's sacrificing nature." (37 Wholetime Workers Rules, pt #20)
- "One should not be greedy." (37 Wholetime Workers Rules, pt #12)
- "You will always be accustomed to lead a hard and industrious life." (Wholetimer Conduct Rule, Fourteen Points, pt #6)
- “One should leave all sorts of luxuries.” (37 Wholetime Workers Rules, pt #6)
- “One should make others good by becoming an ideal person.” (37 Wholetime Workers Rules, pt #22)
These are WT rules for Didis, plus there are so many more codes of conduct our WT Didis must adhere to in their individual life as well as being caretakers of home girls.
Which Didis go against...
So many Didis are in contravention of these conduct rules as they remain in constant communication with their laokik families - giving them money, Ananda Marga resources and all kinds of giving and receiving is going on between them and their laokik families. Didi Ananda Niitimaya has also fallen in this way. Others also doing like this include Didi Ananda Kaoshikii, Didi Ananda Prabha, Didi Ananda Vishnumaya, Didi Ananda Advaeya, and so many others.
