Wt Didis’ flawed approach

Note: This letter is only for those who have reverence for Sadguru Baba Shrii Shrii Anandamurti ji and try to follow His Ananda Marga ideology.

Here below is a photo of our Didis marching in a Women’s Day event in Kolkata printed by the BBC.

#1: See the above photo. B group wts did not raise Ananda Marga placards and signboards in their hands as they preferred to associate themselves with Hindu nuns and not Ananda Marga Pracaraka Samgha Wts. And that is what happened. The BBC photographed those Didis and presented them as Hindu nuns, as stated in the above caption. Please see the teachings from references #1 & #2 below.

#2: Ananda Marga philosophy opposes the women's day movement because it creates a rift between males and females. See reference #1. In result family relations become bitter, marred, and damaged. This type of movement should be done by males, not females.

Females should inspire their male family members to protest and demand gender equality. Then at least there will not be bitterness and quarrelling within the household, and the sweet, loving, family feeling will not be destroyed. The house will be peaceful and the children will be raised in a healthy manner - physically, mentally, and spiritually.

In those regions where there is an active and vocal women’s movement, the family relations have been destroyed. In result, the children suffer from a lack of parental affection, and those kids are becoming violent. It is a dire and sad situation.

Conclusion

Here are the two flaws:
(A) B group wts presented themselves as Hindu nuns;
(B) This women’s day movement is against the fundamentals of AM philosophy.

#1: Movement must be implemented by men

Ananda Marga philosophy states, “As far as the rights which women have lost today, at least so it seems in most countries of the world, a proper socio-psycho-analysis shows, I should say, that women have not really lost their freedom; rather, they have trustingly placed their destiny in the hands of men. This is the plain truth.” (1)


#2: No need for a women’s movement like trade-union

Ananda Marga philosophy states, “Actually, when there is no question of women’s rights having been snatched away, there is no need for a movement styled on the trade-union movement. Whatever responsibility there may be in this regard, it is entirely that of men. If at all a movement is required, it must be implemented by men themselves. Today men should consider the needs of women and gradually restore to women the rights which women once entrusted to men out of feelings of helplessness or in response to their heartfelt sentiments.” (2)

Sad that Baba's ideas are not kept up even in our global publications. I wonder what the Global Office PU is actually meant for these days? Surely not for promoting PU, but more likely promoting personal egos and personal agendas.
