Baba
Example of fake yoga in AMPS
Namaskar,
There are two main problems:
(a) Dada is showing the wrong posture which he learned from fake yoga, i.e. locking his fingers due to an inferiority complex.
(b) Dada posted this to his Facebook page to befool others and show himself as this great sadhaka as per the photo.
To understand what is wrong in locking the fingers please continue reading.

Flawed way: locking the fingers
The avadhuta sitting in meditation is locking his thumb and index finger together. This is the signature emblem of fake yoga - and can be seen everywhere in the fake yoga movement. Locking that thumb and index finger together is not part of our dharmic system of meditation.
Here following is Baba’s teaching for how the pose should be done - pay particular attention to the words highlighted in yellow.
Ananda Marga Caryacarya says, “Siddhásana (siddha posture): Press the múládhára cakra with the left heel. Then press the svádhiśt́hána cakra with the right heel. Place the hands palm up on the respective knees. Duration – as long as you wish.” (1)
But this avadhuta is not following Guru’s system. Instead he has become a poster-child of the fake yoga movement.
~ Hypocrisy: xyz wt locking his fingers & posing on FB as great yogi ~
Note: It is quite obvious that if one sits in siddhasana and does sincere sadhana then naturally one’s fingers will relax and become loose - as the mind is fully focused within. So anyone doing this pose is just a product of fake meditation. Verily this whole scene is just the depiction of a fake person doing fake yoga.
See how Dada is sitting in the exact same manner as this below pseudo-culture person. Please pay attention to their hands and fingers. The above avadhuta and this below fake yoga practitioner are sitting in the same bogus manner. It is so sad how due to an inferiority complex Dada forgot Guru’s teaching and instead got swept up in the tides of fake yoga. Those who are just plain ignorant or those suffering from inferiority complex give up their own good habits and teachings and latch on to something dogmatic, new, brainless fad. It seems that is what happened with Dada.

Inferiority Complex: Thinking AM is inferior
If someone has good things, if even then he throws them away and adopts others' bad things, then this is a definitive sign of one's inferiority complex. This happens to some of the Indian public who migrate to a distant land like the US. Upon reaching there, they leave behind their good habits of washing themselves with water after using the restroom, and instead use toilet paper. Often they leave behind their vegetarian eating heritage and adopt a meat eating habit in its place.
And similarly, many dadas / didis avadhutas also, due to an inferiority complex, think that the teachings of Ananda Marga are inferior, and they learn fake yoga and teach that to others. This is highly unfortunate and indeed disgraceful.
So long as this inferiority complex is not removed from their diseased mind, they will go on harming themselves and others.
See above fake yoga locking finger
Unfortunately
some confused Wts and margiis have forgotten the right things given in
Ananda Marga, and instead they are running along with the fake yoga
movement and preaching those fake things to margiis. They have adopted
the fad and fashion of fake yoga. All in all it is quite pathetic.
A failure to properly guide others
Baba has given a beautiful guideline for how to properly sit in meditation but in place of understanding and adhering to Guru’s dharmic teachings, xyz is propagating the fad of fake yoga. So we have to watch out and not allow such nasty things to continue. As an avadhuta, he should emulate Baba’s teachings - especially those who are walking around in saffron garb as a Wt / avadhuta.

Conclusion
Those who succumb to fake yoga forgot the golden teachings of Ananda Marga. Today they are sitting in a fake yoga posture. And tomorrow such types of people give up their sentient habits like washing their backside with water after defecation and started using blotting paper or tree leaves to wipe their backside. And they give up their sentient food habit and start eating McDonald’s hamburgers. These are all signs of one who has forgotten their goal in life. They will throw away their pure gold and rush towards dirt. It is the duty of every sincere margii to watch all around and see who is doing like this, and try to counsel them and infuse them with the requisite courage to realise that the teachings of Shrii Shrii Anandamurti ji are the greatest. They should not fall into fake yoga.

2nd: xyz self-propaganda
Here is another way of looking at this situation. Sadly, the growing trend is that Wts, like xyz (above), are gradually becoming addicted to self-glorification and over-indulgence on social media. Dada posted this to his own Facebook page. The moments of inward journey are consciously photographed to post it on Facebook and WhatsApp, etc to portray how they are great meditation practitioners, when in fact they are fake.

Here Baba mocks such persons who brag about themselves. The following is an English summary of Baba’s Hindi discourse from DMC 4 March 1984 Jammu:

Here Baba mocks such persons who brag about themselves. The following is an English summary of Baba’s Hindi discourse from DMC 4 March 1984 Jammu:
Who does "Meow, meow"? "You did a little work and propagate; 'I have done , I have done .' "I have done this, I have done that". People praise themselves too much saying 'I', 'I'. Oh, why would you say that much I, I. Oh, why would you say "Meow, meow"? If anyone does "Meow, meow, meow" it is a cat. (*) (Laughter) What do you think? Who does "Meow, meow"? The cat. Yes.Man does a little, (showing with the two fingers and thumb of His hand) this much, and expresses (showing by expanding both the hands to max) this much. Don't do like this. Continue to do work with His thought in mind. No need to tell anybody about it. Parama Purusa is doing every work of the entire universe; does He talk about it? No He does not. Niirav karmi bano, Be a silent worker." (English Summary)(*) The cat makes the sound “meow, meow”, and that sound is very similar to the Hindi word for “I” or “oneself.” So according to Hindi, it sounds like the cat just moves around all day glorifying itself - meow meow. So Baba is making a joke that human beings should not glorify themselves all day long (“I did this”, “I did that”) like the cat - meow, meow.
Undermining what it means to be avadhuta
The standard of our avadhuta is supposed to be very high - i.e. far above so they can properly guide the society. They are to be the epitome and essence of Guru’s tantrika teachings. So it is quite tragic how xyz has forgotten his vows and oaths and is instead floating in the current of fake yoga.

Wt conduct rule: “Avadhuta will always keep himself engaged in service of Gurudeva with sincerity and devotion in thought, word and deed, in subtle and crude spheres, in inner and outer expressions of life.” (3)
