Baba
Loose Guniindrananda hates newborns
Namaskar,
Dada Guniindananda is editor of the Ananda Marga magazine, “Ananda Rekha”. And in that magazine, Dada has printed and blamed that population growth is disastrous and deadly for society, like the mythological demon Sursa’ who swallows whatever comes in its path and destroys the whole planet.
But we should know that Ananda Marga social philosophy condemns this paranoia about population epidemic. Baba says that it is created by vested interests and capitalists.
Anti-Ananda Marga ideas in AM magazine
Please see below. In this Hindi scan, in the 5th line Dada Guniindrananda is spreading anti-Ananda Marga propaganda by proclaiming that population growth is like a deadly demon. But every true disciple knows that Ananda Marga supports population growth. We welcome new born babes. We do not hate them.

They curse newborn after seeing the newborn
Ananda Marga philosophy states, “Population growth has been projected as a menacing threat to the existence of human society, but in fact this sort of propaganda is nothing but an evil conspiracy engineered by vested interests.” (1)
When a new babe takes birth then people should welcome this child great fanfare and enjoyment. But those paranoid about population growth feel sad and depressed and they curse each other after seeing the newborn. They think that another headache has come on this earth.
These agents of capitalism who curse population growth and spread paranoia are blot or black spot on the humanity. Ananda Marga welcomes every newcomer and we want to increase our human population. The earth has a tremendous capacity to maintain and nourish.

Conclusion: No need to fear population increase
Ananda Marga philosophy states, “Using birth control methods which deform the bodies of men and women or destroy their reproductive powers forever cannot be supported, because this may cause a violent mental reaction at any moment.” (2)
Ananda Marga social philosophy is against family planning (sterilisation) and the paranoia about population growth. Baba has instructed that every healthy Ananda Margii should procreate more. But Dada Guniindrananda is a capitalist agent propped up by Madhuvratananda, the chief bootlicker of Rudrananda. That is how Guniindrananda is in sannyasi garb but doing the work of anti-Ananda Marga, unfortunately.
In Him,
Ramesh

No reason for such fear
Ananda Marga philosophy states, “Today capitalists are trying to check population growth by propagating birth control because an increasing population is detrimental to capitalism. In a collective economic structure there will be no need to support birth control. Rather, an increasing population will help in the production of the essential commodities.” (3)
Ananda Marga philosophy states, “It is a fact that the population of the world is rapidly increasing, and consequently many people have become frightened. ...But there is no reason for such fear in a collective economic system. In the event of shortages in food and accommodation people will collectively convert barren land into arable land, increase agricultural production by scientific methods and produce food by chemical processes using the potentiality of earth, water and air.” (4)
Prout philosophy states, “It is wrong to believe that the rapid increase in the population will in any way affect the collective economic structure. Today capitalists are trying to check the growth of the population by propagating the practice of birth control, because increases in the population will be detrimental to capitalism. In a collective economic structure one need not support birth control. Rather, the growth of the population will be helpful in the production of essential commodities. In the scientific age one tablet will be sufficient for a complete meal. So we are not to fear the increase of the population.” (5)

"Uttál moha jaladhi ghire, rekhe chilo more prabhu eta din..." (Prabhat Samgiita #2366)
Purport:
O' Parama Purusa, the high tide and upsurging ocean of moha, mundane attachments, had surrounded me for so long, O' Prabhu. I got caught up in the noose of pashas (bondages), ripus (internal enemies), and worldly lust, and was lonely and isolated. In my life, there was no one whom I felt close to in this world; I had no one to call my own. The musical instrument of my psyche was just engaged in chanting my own greatness and glory. I wasted my time in self-aggrandizement and was not doing sadhana so my condition was miserable.
Baba, You poured immense grace on me. On one auspicious dawn You came close to me with silent footsteps. With the showering of Your ahaetuki krpa', You made the bud of my mind blossom in countless spectrums of colours and forms. My life became meaningful, by Your mercy. O' Divine One, for ages and ages, I was not cognizant of You. Magically, You made me realise and recognise you. In the past I was not aware how sweet You are. But with that charming, sonorous, and attractive sound, and with the melody and rhythm of the songs, You became the most intimate one of my being.
Baba, jinanis think that You can be attained by logic and reasoning. And karmiis think that You can be held on the strength of actional faculty. O’ Supreme One, You made me understand that neither physical strength nor logic and reasoning have the capacity to get You. You can only be held by love. O' Parama Purusa, every person has infinite desires. Knowingly and unknowingly everyone wants You; they cannot be satisfied by worldly gains alone. In their heart, You always gently swing back and forth like the hope of the creeper plant. And, at the end of their grand journey, that very eternal and limitless longing culminates and they become one with You, by Your kindness...
== Section 3: Important Teaching ==
Idiots ignore mother tongueAnanda Marga philosophy states, “What does mother tongue mean? That language in which we can freely, smoothly and spontaneously express our ideas in an unobstructed environment, just as we feel loving closeness with our own mother while in conversation, is our mother tongue.” (1)
Ananda Marga philosophy states, “Students may feel inconvenience if the medium of instruction is English only or if the question papers are in English only.” (2)
Baba's teaching is that both one’s mother tongue and English (as the current international language) are important. But the general education curriculum should be presented in one's mother tongue. And in addition, English should be taught as a subject unto itself. English should not be the medium of education in countries where the people's mother tongue is not English. On this point, Germany is an excellent example. All education is in German medium. So subjects like engineering will always be taught in German. And in addition, there is an English class for the purpose of making people fluent in English. In this way, engineers in Germany do their work in German and converse in German, and yet are also fluent in English and fully capable of communicating with others in English should the need arise. In India, as well as all other countries of the world, this is how it should be done. The mother tongue has unique value in enabling someone to formulate and express their thoughts comfortably and facilely; its importance and vital role in education should always be recognized, and at the same time there should be an English class so the students can learn English.
