Songs of longing, not death of God

Namaskar,

Here is an important topic on bhakti and Prabhat Samgiita.

Question #1:

Does Prabhat Samgiita really have any theme songs for MPD (mahaprayan)?

Answer #1:

No

Question #2:

If Prabhat Samgiita compositions - like "Tumi esechile ka'uke na' bole" (PS #2085) and "A'ma're phele gele dhula'y avahele" (PS #4815) among others such as PS #4819, PS #3263, PS #2238, PS #0025 - were not specially given as annual obituary, death, or death anniversary songs, then what kind of songs are they?
http://anandamarganewsbulletin.blogspot.com

Answer #2:

These melancholic songs are wholly related with one's psycho-spiritual feeling and have nothing to do with God dying.

Many spiritual & mystic poets have expressed melancholic longing

There are deeply spiritual songs that are grounded in the idea of melancholic longing, i.e. expressing that their Lord is not as close as they want. So the seeker is longing for their Lord to come within their vision or grasp.

This type of melancholic feeling is found in Sufi songs, Buddhist songs, Christian songs, Hindu songs, and also Prabhat Samgiita. And, in each one, the message is the same: My Lord is not coming as close as I wish. Thus in these songs the idea is not that their God has died. These compositions were not written for an annual death ceremony.

Rather the prevailing theme is that every bhakta longs for God and wants to have Him in greater proximity. That feeling of longing gave birth to this style of composition known as melancholic songs. Indian mystic poets like Miirabai, Surdas, Vidyapati, Candidas and others including Ravindranath Tagore have written hundreds and even thousands of bhajans like this. In such songs, these spiritual poets express the desire to have greater proximity with their Lord, and when that desire is not fulfilled then with deep longing they cry for more intimate closeness with their Ista. Such songs do not mean that their God has died.

Mundane melancholic songs with pop singers

Essentially, in the world of pop culture, the genre of songs known as melancholic songs denotes a time when one's lover is not coming as close as they desire or wish. Nowadays, so many radio stations play and various pop icons sing songs about how they wish to hold their lover. And now they are completely upset, languishing in so much heartache and pain. This is a very common theme in songs for teens and pop-culture. This is a melancholic song in the worldly sense. Such songs do not mean that their lover has died.

Prabhat Samgiita melancholic longing of bhakta

The collection of Prabhat Samgiita is comprised of 5019 songs. They come in all genres. One of them is melancholic songs which express how the bhakta and Parama Purusa have a deeply loving and intimate relationship. The bhakta has great love for Him and Parama Purusa is showering His grace; even then the bhakta wants to have Him more close and is yearning and crying for Parama Purusa to come in a more intimate way. That is the overall theme of melancholic songs like "Tumi esechile ka'uke na' bale" (PS #2085) and "A'ma're phele gele dhula'ya abahele" (PS #4815), as well as PS #4819, PS #3263, PS #2238, PS #0025 etc.
http://anandamarganewsbulletin.blogspot.com

So in Prabhat Samgiita also there are melancholic songs. Verily, Prabhat Samgiita offers an entirely new approach of melancholic songs for the bhakta. The main idea is that the world of Prabhat Samgiita has uniquely been written to express for one's longing for Parama Purusa. These melancholic songs perfectly depict one's yearning to have Him in a deeper, more intimate manner. Such songs do not mean that their God has died.

Or more precisely we can say that melancholic songs in the Prabhat Samgiita collection have nothing to do with God dying.  Such songs do not mean that their God has died. That is why such compositions have absolutely nothing to do with the so-called mahaprayan (MPD) program.

Melancholic songs have eternal value for bhakta

So again it should be reiterated that these melancholic songs do not mean that their God has died. Such compositions are not for an annual death ceremony.

Those who are labeling and presenting these melancholic songs as "mahaprayan" songs are abusing and manipulating that song for their own narrow agenda. This is a clear case of misusing Prabhat Samgiita. It is just like how the songs of many great poets and seers have been misused as mundane love songs. Here in this case of using melancholic Prabhat Samgiita compositions as "mahaprayan" songs, the so-called vanguard of Ananda Marga is abusing these songs in broad daylight. And this must stop.
http://anandamarganewsbulletin.blogspot.com

Conclusion

These melancholic songs are wholly related with one's psycho-spiritual feeling and have nothing to do with God dying.

The thousands of melancholic songs that have graciously been given are eternal gifts for one's spiritual growth and development. These mystical compositions that are based in bhakti do not mean that God has died. They are not for any type of annual death ceremony.  Such songs do not mean that their God has died.

PS #2085 and PS #4815 (and others like PS #4819, PS #3263, PS #2238, PS #0025) have been stolen from the collection of bhakti compositions, and wrongly branded as so-called annual death day songs.
http://anandamarganewsbulletin.blogspot.com

Namaskar,
at His lotus feet,
Malika’ Mukherjee

Note: In the past and recently also, B group has released a list of Prabhat Samgiita compositions for various occasions etc, and for so-called mahaprayan they enlisted songs PS #2085, PS #4815, PS #4819, PS #3263, PS #2238, PS #0025. So this is a double dogma. First, mahaprayan is not a festival in AMPS; rather, it is the invention of B group. And, secondly, they have kidnapped these deeply spiritual, melancholic compositions for their annual death ceremony. This is an utter misuse of Baba’s treasure of Prabhat Samgiita.

Attending kiirtana at MPD means supporting that dogma

Some wrongly justify that, “What is wrong, I am just going to Tiljala for the kiirtana, not for the sake of the mahaprayan program.” Here it should be clear: Going to the annual mahaprayan gathering for the sake of doing kiirtan is a bogus justification. Merely attending that mahaprayan gathering signifies your wholehearted support of that event. The fundamental equation is if anyone is doing anything anywhere and you go to their location and do what they are doing, it means you are supporting their cause. That is the basic formula that can be applied to countless situations.
http://anandamarganewsbulletin.blogspot.com

Let’s look at this from another angle. Who can forget when Baba was in jail and our Ananda Margii brothers and sisters from all over converged on-site to protest the injustices. Margiis sang kiirtan. And participation in those kiirtan rallies demonstrated support for the greater cause. Those days Mr. JPN called the police on margiis and had them arrested on the basis that their participation in that kiirtana meant they were the supporters of the political protests against Baba’s incarceration.

Later on, after the rally, that same kiirtan would be sung for purely spiritual purposes during dharmacakra etc. Here the point is that doing kiirtan or raising the slogan at a rally means supporting that issue or cause.

Of late, both H and B groups have used kiirtana programs as a strategy to reclaim and recapture various AMPS buildings for their group cause. And those who participate in that kiirtana are their pawns for their groupist agenda. That is what happened in Goddha, Ananda Nagar, Bhopal, and numerous other places where H and B were battling for control of that jagriti etc. Kiitana programs are their main arsenal for capturing those properties from the opposite group. This happened so many times in the past and will happen in the future also as this is their cherished strategy.

It is just like how “allahu akbar” was used by Muslim terrorists to blow up and the same “allahu akbar” Muslims use in their regular prayers also.
http://anandamarganewsbulletin.blogspot.com

Merely attending that mahaprayan gathering signifies your wholehearted support of that event. The fundamental equation is if anyone is doing anything anywhere and you go to their location and do what they are doing, it means you are supporting their cause.

Pseudo-service

True sadhakas serve others thinking it is their duty to serve one and all; and, in return, they do not want anything. Verily, they do not have even a remote desire for getting anything in return. They think those whom they are serving are Narayana God Himself. In contrast, fake sadhakas are the exact opposite. You might have seen in various discussions and gatherings how such persons come before all and tell, “I have done this, and I have done that.” They are beggars of attention and recognition and mentally harbour great appreciation and respect for their so-called service. These are fakes. To make it more clear, please read Baba’s following teaching.

Ananda Marga philosophy states, “Bear in mind that you have a duty towards others, but that no one has any duty towards you. Everyone’s individual duty is fixed. Only one who moves forward with this as his or her only thought can do proper service. Otherwise the thought may remain in the mind of the one doing service that I have done such and such work for that person, so that person ought to do such and such for me. The thought must remain in the mind of the one doing service that I have a duty towards others but no one has any duty towards me.” (1)

Note: Here sadhaka means everyone who is doing sadhana - whether they be a margii or Wt, everyone from PP Dada to a newly initiated margii.

Poor parenting approaches

Ananda Marga philosophy states, "In some families the parents have lost their peace of mind due to poverty or some other cause and oppress their children with or without reason. Naturally the children lose respect for their parents, which further aggravates family indiscipline. The parents have to put up with more unrest, adding to their lack of peace."

Ananda Marga philosophy states, "Parents who are middle- or high-level officials in the public works or police departments have to get work done through others or supervise manual labourers or subordinates, so they often forget to talk sweetly. Some become accustomed to using abusive language, and some to issuing commands. Due to this their children do not have an opportunity to learn to speak with restraint. Such children suffer from a superiority complex, even within their circle of friends. In their future lives it will be extremely difficult for them to love people and create a congenial social environment."

Ananda Marga philosophy states, "Some parents may claim that it is impossible to maintain a balanced life in an age full of problems, where they are extremely busy with numerous activities. I maintain, however, that it is possible for an intelligent parent to avoid the mistakes I have discussed. If parents fail to carry out their basic duties, I am compelled to say that, although they live in society, they are guilty of encouraging an antisocial mentality. By encouraging their children to develop a criminal psychology, they give unnecessary trouble to the police. The main point is this: for want of a little care, children are deprived of the opportunity to become complete human beings, even though they have a human structure." (1)

The actual social code

Ananda Marga ideology states, “We are all the progeny of Parama Puruśa. He is creating each and every thing. There is no need to worry about the man-made distinctions between tall and short, black and white, male and female. Identify your mind with the Cosmic Mind and see whether that pleases Parama Puruśa or not. Do whatever pleases Him.”

“No father wants to see his child die of starvation or one of his children eating or accumulating more than required. You will have to develop the economic sphere to ensure that these things will never happen. In social life no father would wish to see his widowed daughter forced to dress in an austere fashion, persecuted socially, or debarred from attending social functions. You must not support these things. Rather, you must provide equal opportunities for all.”

“Parents hate to see their children weep. If they do, they take them on their lap and comfort them with love and affection until their tears stop. You will have to build a society in which no one is forced to weep, where everyone smiles joyfully all the time and gets ample scope for laughter. Seeing such mirth and merriment, Parama Puruśa will feel immensely pleased. By giving joy to Parama Puruśa you will feel even more joyful and will feel His close proximity. This is the actual social code. And the actual spiritual code is the one that helps humans move towards Parama Puruśa. Under no circumstances should one create unnecessary controversies. The social code aims at bringing a broad smile to the faces of the progeny of Parama Puruśa. You should all move along this path – you are sure to meet with success.” (1)

Is there a difference between sadvipras and moralists

Prout philosophy states, “Sadvipras and moralists are not synonymous. Sádhakas or spiritual aspirants who control the nucleus of the social order are called sadvipras. Sadvipras will control the nucleus and check exploitation by one class over others. If necessary they may accelerate the speed of the social cycle by the application of tremendous force and bring revolution. By a normal process, when vaeshya domination exploits the other classes in society, sadvipras will bring about revolution in the social order and establish kśatriya domination.” (1)

Note: Sadvipras are spiritual revolutionaries who are firmly established in sadhana and fight against exploitation at every turrn. They will never be swayed or tempted and will always keep sharp eyes on the welfare of society. In contrast, a mere moralist has yet to inculcate true spiritual values and because of that they may fall and lose their morality at any moment.

One lady’s mahaprayan + 2 more

Baba
One lady’s mahaprayan

Namaskar,

Here below is the mahaprayan (death day) announcement of one ordinary woman. The concept of "mahaprayan" signifies the death of a human being; it is a common phenomenon across the Indian subcontinent.
http://anandamarganewsbulletin.blogspot.com

Not something divine for Taraka Brahma

Indeed, the program of mahaprayan is everywhere; it is widely observed for the death of a regular citizen. It is not something special or unique or divine. It is not something godly or lofty, and it is certainly not for Taraka Brahma.

Here in this article which is in Bengali script, the term mahaprayan has been highlighted in orange - towards the bottom of the article. This is proof that mahaprayan is used for simple, ordinary folk - like this woman. Because this is the occasion of the death day observance of this woman.
http://anandamarganewsbulletin.blogspot.com

image.png

Death of ordinary woman

The program of mahaprayan is used to insinuate the death of a woman who has made her departure from this world. That is why such a gathering is not done for Taraka Brahma because He did not depart - He is the eternal Parama Purusa. So the mahaprayan is for ordinary humans, i.e. mortals, not for Parama Purusa Baba.

Theme of sadhana

Ananda Marga ideology says, "Whatever a man is to do in his spiritual life he is to do - why? Because he is in love with the Supreme Entity. Love is the first word, love is the starting point, and love is the last point." (1)

Note: Baba's above guideline is very beneficial for sadhana. However, these days some innocent or simple people just do meditation for "mental peace". And even worse, some Wts do sadhana for show - to pose as someone great. Such Wts hardly do sadhana when they are alone; but, when they go to margiis' houses then in grand style they sit in meditation for a long time. All done in order to put themselves on display and create one show that they are highly elevated sadhakas. A few margiis do a similar thing when they attend retreats. Only by evaluating the ongoing conduct can one understand how far they are really doing sadhana or not. It is just like if you are approaching one animal at night. At first you may think that it is a tiger or a lion, but when that animal makes its weird 'Huan, Huan' sound, then you know that it is just a jackal. Same is the case when being around those types who put on a show of sadhana. By their conduct and dealing they just expose themselves etc.

Cause of shortage of money in AMPS

Namaskar,

Wt conduct rules: "Each worker will separately maintain the clear account of receipt and expenditure of his personal allowance and organizational money." (1)

Wt conduct rules: "Each amount of collection should be deposited properly and drawn after submitting requisition." (2)

#1: Dada Shankarananda's story is concocted. Baba banned Dada Shankarananda from Bihar because Dada S was harassing margiis for money. Bihar margiis in the village are very poor and Dada S used to empty their pockets, even their pennies. They did not have anything for their food or salt. And Dada Shankarananda used to put his hand in their pocket and take everything. So Baba banned him from Bihar. At that time Baba was living in Patna.
http://anandamarganewsbulletin.blogspot.com

#2: Dada Shankarananda was born to collect money and he will take that habit to the grave. For that he concocted this story. In the future, when AMPS runs properly: (a) margiis and Wts will jointly manage the financial books, (b) there will be clean accounts and transparency, and (c) donor will be free to see the balance sheets etc. In taht case, money will pour like anything. Donations will come in from all directions.

#3: There are millions of non-margii organisations that do hundreds and thousands of times better than AMPS on social service projects. From where do they get their money. People want to give for just and right causes. There are countless people who want to give but there is no good place to give because people are cheaters. That is why in AMPS there is a crisis.

#4: The artificial crisis is because those at the top of AMPS have an infinite hunger to increase their bank balance. The main thing is fiscal transparency and accountability.

#5: Baba used to tell openly to sadhakas that no AMPS work will stop due to scarcity of money. Money will not be the problem.

in Him,

Islamic shraddhainjali placed into Caryacarya

Baba

Islamic shraddhainjali placed into Caryacarya

Note: See here how some mourners are wailing at the Islamic shraddhainjali of Marhum Ahamad Zaman. This is a barely known important point about Caryacarya.

Namaskar,

This letter addresses how an appendix was added to our Caryacarya part 1 in October 1990. And that appendix contained the dogma of “shraddhainjali”.

After Oct 1990, they added the point that shraddhainjali should be offered to Shrii Shrii Anandamurti ji during the mahaprayan commemoration. Since then B group has been offering shraddhainjali to Baba annually. They have made it into a very grand, divine, and heavenly occasion in Ananda Marga Pracaraka Samgha. By this way, common margiis and Wts were misguided and wrongly led to believe that shraddhainjali is something very great.
http://anandamarganewsbulletin.blogspot.com

And still today, many margiis are not aware about shraddhainjali. What to say about family margiis, even “great, great” Wts are confused about this shraddhainjali dogma. They think this “practice” came directly from heaven - the 7th sky, and that this is something very divine, pious, and grand. Because for the last 36 years certain interested parties have brainwashed the Wt / margii population on a large-scale.

Now see in the general society how shraddhainjali came into being. This letter reveals how the dogma of shraddhainjali is performed in Bengal and whether this refers to living or dead people - as well as whether it can be used with Sadguru, Taraka Brahma, and Mahasambhuti.

Islamic dogma of annual death day / tomb worship

Below please find an entirely new scene depicting a dogmatic shraddhainjali function. As we all now know, shraddhainjali is just a death day / mahaprayan / tomb worship type of program. When any human being dies then shraddhainjali is performed for the deceased.
http://anandamarganewsbulletin.blogspot.com

In the appendix to the post-1990 edition Caryacarya 1, they added shraddhainjali to describe their mahaprayan divas (MPD) program. Since shraddhainjali is not part of Baba's discourses or Ananda Marga philosophy, many Ananda Margiis may not know what the dogma of shraddhainjali is. That is what those in Tiljala were hoping as they wanted to befool margiis on this matter.

But, with every passing day more and more are becoming aware...

Shraddhainjali is done by Muslims - for a death ceremony. So the shraddhainjali dogma is a death / mahaprayan / shraddha ceremony or tomb worship for any human being.

Women are crying & grief-stricken

See below how these Muslims are in dire mourning at this shraddhainjali / mahaprayan / tomb worship for the deceased - Marhum Ahamad Zaman Choudhury. In the below photo three women are in sheer and utter despair. It is a Friday morning at 10am and they are looking at the body of their loved one just before the burial is to occur. The body of the deceased will soon be lowered into the ground. So the women are crying hysterically; they are grief-stricken. See all the people - the large crowd - standing behind those three females. So many have come to pay homage and their final respects to the deceased. The last rights are to be performed.
http://anandamarganewsbulletin.blogspot.com

Some of those in attendance are Asaduzzaman Nur, Mahabube Alam, Sayad Zamim, Naem Imtiyaz Neyamul, Abdurrhaman, Iqbal Karim, Nishan, Gulam Saroyar, Razzak, Deloyar Zahan, Ahamad Sharif, Nazarul Islam, Mahafuzur Rahaman, Mantazur Rahaman Akbar, Misha Saudagar, Umar Mohammad etc.

In this below article from a Bengali newspaper, the term shraddhainjali has been used twice - see the highlighted words in orange and yellow in Bengali script. Both those highlighted words are the dogmatic term “shraddhainjali” which means the mahaprayan / death ceremony for their friend / relative who died. Take a look at the scene.

Mahaprayan #39.png

Ingredients of shraddhainjali dogma / worship of deceased

So the needed ingredients for shraddhainjali are:

1. Dead person (Note: Shraddhainjali cannot be done for a living person like Ac Bhaveshananda Avt, Ac Raviishananda Avt, Ac. Vicitrananda Avt, Ac Pranavatmakananda Avt, Ac Dhyaneshananda Avt, Ac Kinshukji  etc. In order to do shraddhainjali for them, one must wait. Because one cannot do shraddhainjali of a living person.)
2. Casket or tomb
3. Flowers (real or artificial / paper or plastic), small or large amount
4. Toys (if the deceased is a child)
5. Scents
6. Water (optional)
7. Chants (Recited in Arabic, Hebrew, Latin, or Sanskrit - or done in the local language if needed.)
8. Head priest, or mullah, or senior avadhuta, or purodha pramukha (any single one is enough)
9. Mourners (minimum one and maximum as much as possible). To show greater respect people hire or rent mourners. They do this for various leaders; those rented mourners will raise the slogan in favour of the deceased or cry out loud as requested.
http://anandamarganewsbulletin.blogspot.com

The above points are inherent to any shraddhainjali dogma. So by placing shraddhainjali in the post-1990 Caryacarya appendix, the insinuation is that all these things will be done.

Note: Here it should be understood that shraddhainjali refers to both (a) the day of the actual death ceremony and (b) the annual commemoration of the death. In both instances it is called a shraddhainjali program.

Conclusion

Prior to 1990, this shraddhainjali dogma was non-existent in Ananda Marga Pracaraka Samgha. This was transplanted from Islam in the last week of October 1990.

Sadly, just as the above Muslims are performing shraddhainjali / mahaprayan / death ceremony, in Tiljala this same type of event is going on. The mahaprayan organisers do an annual shraddhainjali function. Effectively, they have grabbed onto the Islamic dogma of shraddhainjali and inserted it into our Ananda Marga. First they fast-tracked it into Caryacarya and then actively promoted their shraddhainjali / mahaprayan / tomb worship event, year after year after year.
http://anandamarganewsbulletin.blogspot.com

That is the story of how the Muslim dogma of shraddhainjali / mahaprayan / tomb worship has made its way into our Ananda Marga Pracaraka Samgha. With your efforts and by joining with others, this shraddhainjali / mahaprayan / annual death day dogma will be wiped away from the books and as an annual commemoration. It has no place in our Ananda Marga way of life.

Namaskar,
in Him,
Jaideva

~ In-depth study ~

Shraddhainjali dogma wrongly inserted into Caryacarya

Here is the paragraph from the appendix of post-1990 Caryacarya - 1 where they have added shraddhainjali.

"Programmes on this day shall include nagar kiirtana, devotional songs of Prabhát Saḿgiita (without dance) appropriate to the solemnity of the occasion, akhańd́a kiirtana, shraddháiṋjali, vánii exhibition, bookstall, tree-planting, sadávrata, other welfare activities, prasáda distribution, Bábá stories (satsauṋga), tattvasabhá, conferences and symposia." (Post-1990 Caryacarya -1, Appendix)

“The above appendix on Maháprayáńa Divasa - 21st October 1990 - [...] was discussed and passed as a resolution on 25th August 1991 unanimously by all members of the Central Committee of Ánanda Márga Pracáraka Saḿgha, and it was decided that this (resolution) should be added as an appendix to Caryácarya Part 1. (CC Resolution, 25/8/1991, Calcutta.) –Trans.” (Post-1990 Caryacarya -1, Appendix)

So we can see how these purodhas are worthless and blind - completely dogmatic they were and are. Because of their lowly standard, our AMPS organisation has been pulverised into pieces. All due to the work of those 3rd class purodhas. Their qualification was put on display in the very last week of October. Their first work was to impose this dogma and turn Ananda Marga into a religion. That is the sad story.
http://anandamarganewsbulletin.blogspot.com

No annual shraddhainjali program: In our Ananda Marga Pracaraka Samgha, there is no scope to do any type of annual death ceremony.

The dogma of shraddhainjali is a death day / mahaprayan ceremony: The term “shraddhainjali” is written in the above Bengali newspaper article because they are mourning the deceased - it is a death day / mahaprayan gathering. That is the dogma of shraddhainjali.

Why hypocritical: in one breath our Wts say that

Sadguru Baba is guiding you and in the next breath they say He is dead - mahaprayan. True bhaktas know that there is no such thing as mahaprayan for Sadguru Baba. As the Sadguru He never passes away, He is omnipresent. So those Wts who believe in and promote the idea that Sadguru is dead are confused. Actually they are displaying hypocritical behaviour.

When our Wts / acaryas give initiation, or revise anyone’s lesson, or give further lessons of sadhana, they say, “I am just a medium - Sadguru Taraka Brahma Shrii Shrii Anandamurtiji is teaching you and He is ever-present."

So in one breath our Wts (Dadas and Didis) say that Sadguru Lord Shrii Shrii Anandamurtiji is guiding you, and in the next breath they say He is dead - mahaprayan. That is both hypocritical and sinful. Hypocritical because they are telling one thing and doing something else. They are saying that Guru is no more in their mahaprayan program, yet when teaching sadhana they are relying on Him. And it is sinful because it is abusive and against Guru.

It is similar to your own children playing before you and talking among themselves that, “My mother is dead.” As a mother, how will you feel? And not only that, they go one step ahead, before your eyes they start commemorating your annual death day ceremony. How do you feel about their ignorance?

True bhaktas never participate in an annual death ceremony of the ever-present God. That is against pre-1990 Caryacarya.

Inherent fight in life

Prout philosophy states, “Fight is the essence of life. Biologically, life is an expression of inner stamina, and externally or physically, it is a ceaseless fight to restore an unstable equilibrium. Anywhere and everywhere in the universe there is conflict. Why? If one looks at the process of creation, one will observe that creation originated from the nucleus. In the first phase of creation, that is, the phase of expansion, it is Avidyá or material force which supplied stamina to the Cosmic Mind, which is the cause of the process of creation. However, it cannot be denied that Vidyá or spiritual force is totally absent in this phase. In fact, in the struggle between Vidyá and Avidyá the former is suppressed by the latter and the resultant is expansion from the original nucleus. In the second phase, namely the phase of withdrawal, it is Vidyá which supplies the life juice for an interial move to the nucleus. Here also Avidyá is fighting a losing battle. In essence, in every sphere there is fight between Vidyá and Avidyá, and the resultant is interial or exterial progress. When Avidyá wins the process of crudification goes on; when Vidyá wins the process of introversion goes on.” (1)
