Hypocrisy of our dada
Breaking News Update: Dada V allegedly hoarded piles of money when he was SS of NY sector by selling numerous properties in the USA and Mexico through Yogendra (Juan Francisco Osegueda Osario) of Mexico. That’s how Vimalananda was able to purchase his own house in prestigious Washington DC. Vimalananda tells others that he purchased the house as a Prout Office, yet that house is in his own name. The thing is - Vimalananda has his Green Card (permanent resident card for the US) and soon he will take his citizenship there and live in that house. And if we see the history, it is clear. Despite being a global worker, he remained in the US for two years from Feb 2020 to Mar 2022. During that period he never went anywhere else. Then in March 2022 circumstances forced his hand and he returned to India, and now Vimalananda has firmly set his sights on going and remaining in the US for good and taking full-time residence in that house as his “retirement benefits package” for the sale of AM property.

Sometime back at Jamalpur DMS, one senior dádá said: “हम तो सन्यासी हैं । हम स्मशान में रहते हैं ।”
Meaning: “I am a sannyásii. I live in the smashán [cemetery / burning grounds].”
Vimalananda is falsely proclaiming his austerity in the aforementioned assertion. Sadly though, the claim is an outright lie. The reality is that this dádá does not live in a smashán [cemetery]. The only reason Vimalananda is making this false claim in front of thousands of márgiis is to earn their respect and awe. There is no need for Vimalananda to falsely brag about his avadhutahood; a true avadhuta does not lie.
Unfortunately, this Vimalananda falsely proclaims to Margiis that he is so great, and all 24 hours he is ensconced in samadhi like Lord Shiva in a smashán. He thinks everyone in the audience is a fool, and so whatever lies he tells, people will think that it is the final truth. But in many sectors, everybody knows about his hypocrisy. How would they not know? He is infamous for selling Ananda Marga properties around the globe.
The teaching of Sadguru Bábá in connection with the word Sannyása is, “The true meaning of the word Sannyása is ‘devoted to truth’. True Sannyása is to take shelter in truth (satya) by means of spiritual sádhaná.” (1)
In this posting, we’ll find out who this Vimalananda really is. His claim - “I am a sannyásii; I do not have any family. I live in smashán” - is his hypocrisy. Actually this top-posted Wt lives in luxurious comfort wherever he goes; he does not live in a dusty smashán, as he falsely proclaims. Rudrananda has blessed him with a higher post due to his dirty loyalty.

Opportunist sannyasiis of the present
Unfortunately, the age-old historical fact of priest classes exploiting the masses by befooling the common people is still ongoing. The opportunists still today portray themselves as elevated souls through means of falsehood. In this way they continue propounding their supremacy. Vimalananda Avt is one such so-called sannyásii who does not get tired of boasting about his greatness. In various public venues, Vimalananda has said a number of times that he only needs a piece of laungotá and a place in the smashán (cremation ground)-- “I am a Sannyásii. I do not have any family. I live in the smashán.” He told that the only reason he emerges from the smashán and appears in front of the society is because he promised his Guru Bábá that he will look after the grhii (householder) people. By his tall talks Vimalananda tries to impress his audience; however, with the application of viveka it is not difficult to see his hypocrisy.
Alleged scams of Vimalananda
It is well known that Vimalananda has been indulged in numerous unethical land selling scams throughout NY sector, and, in particular, in Mexico - as well as select plots in other sectors. Vimalananda is a sycophant of Rudrananda and has been carrying out the unethical sale of land and property belonging to Ánanda Márga Pracáraka Saḿgha for personal gains and favours. Basically, Vimalananda was feeding Rudrananda an unending cash flow from the stolen money from AMPS accounts and properties, and in exchange Rudrananda was bestowing upon him post, privilege, and respect.
Here is more of the back story: Vimalananda sold AM properties in Hong Kong Sector and also in Manila Sector, and he was never given one of the top cherry posts in AMPS, rather was always in a sectorial level fringe posts, not bigger posts like SS or SES. Before Becoming SSNY he was just CSPU in NY sector. But due to greed for money, Rudrananda made him SSNY and after Vimalananda sold the NY Sectorial Office (in Corona, Queens, NYC) and gave a massively over the top bribe to Rudrananda, then Rudrananda made Vimalananda SGPU in the Centre.
And this is the same Vimalananda who proclaimed about his greatness of living 24 hours month after month, in the cremation ground. In light of all the aforementioned, Vimalananda’s claim of living his life in the cremation ground is his duplicity and hypocrisy.

Leaders should be of exemplary conduct
For many years Vimalananda was Sectorial Secretary of New York Sector and then he got a promotion to Centre having the post of xyz. Those in leadership roles have a very important duty to guide others and be a role model. However, Vimalananda’s superiority complex and hypocrisy set a bad example for others.
Ananda Marga ideology says, “Today there is catastrophe and misery in human society and there is one reason: the defective leadership of society. People blindly follow even unintelligent leaders. The leaders hypnotize and attract thousands with their tall talks, gestures and other dramatics. Understand that the poverty and misery of any people in any country are the sins of the leaders. True leaders should always be vigilant and think how to work best for human society: they must be ever cautious that under their guidance the people are not led to darkness, death and immorality.” (2)
Wt conduct rule states, “One should make others good by becoming an ideal person.” (3)
Conclusion
According to Ananda Marga philosophy, Sannyásiis must not be hypocrites; they should be A-grade human beings. But unfortunately, Vimalananda ji is a fake avadhuta; he is trying to project himself as great, with the help of hypocrisy. Everyone should watch out about such deceitful, so-called monks. For such people, Baba has given the following teaching:
Mana ná ráuṋgáile ráuṋgáile yogi kápaŕá.
[Saffron and red do not a yogi make
With mind undyed he remains a fake.]
Ananda Marga ideology states, “Dye your mind with His colour. Those who have not done so cannot attain Him, for this very coloration is Prema or Divine Love. The differences in colour are signs of distinction; without these differences there is identity. No external sign of Sádhutá or virtue is necessary. Become sádhu within. Behind the external show of virtuousness of many so-called sádhus exists a pharisaic state of mind. Preserve the true dignity of the word, Sádhu.”
Múŕha múŕháye jat́á váŕháye masta phire jaesá bhaesá
Khalrii upar khák lágáye
Mana jaeśá to taesá.
[With shaven head or matted locks
And ashen body a Sádhu walks
With the swaggering gait of a well-fed buffalo.

Dada V: marveled at by other hypocrites
Make no mistake, Vimalananda is a big big hypocrite who tries to fool others. But there is a vast difference between his words and actions. Those who have worked with him understand Vimalananda’s nature very well, but it takes a few months or even years to understand the full extent of Vimalananda’s hypocrisy. In this regard, Vimalananda is not ordinary, even other hypocrites step aside for him and hold Vimalananda in high regard.

Ananda Marga philosophy states, "Within a gang of thieves, one of them says appreciatively, “Oh! The sleight-of-hand of such-and-such other thief is marvellous – he has made a fool of me!” Here one pickpocket is praising another, because they belong to the same group." (5)
Similarly, due to being a king hypocrite, Vimalananda has earned the respect of other hypocrites.

Prout philosophy states, “Compared to mechanical babes, biological babes will be perfect. Ova and spermatozoa, both being chemical compounds, can be created in a laboratory. Embryos, created by the fusion of spermatozoa and ova, can also be developed in a laboratory. Babes created by such a method will be called biological babes. The entire body, including the brain, can be created, but it is beyond the scope of human endeavour to create mind. As in the natural evolution of human beings, nature will put a bodiless mind into the embryo of the laboratory babes. This explains why a laboratory babe will not be free from saḿskáras or the reactions to past actions. With the development of medical science, laboratory babes can be given a long life in comparison to normal human beings.”

Forcible conversion is blot
Prout philosophy states, “The second inviolable principle is that people should not be forcibly converted from one religion to another. People will not leave a religion if it is able to guide them properly on the path of Dharma. However, if a religion has a narrow outlook or contains some defective teachings, such as supporting the caste system or oppressing the poor, then people will naturally become disillusioned with it. The followers of other religions will take advantage of these defects and forcibly convert them….”
Prout philosophy states, “Such incidents made the priests in eastern India realize that soon all the Brahmans would be converted to Islam. One priest called Devi Bar Ghatak from Mallálpur in the Birbhum district of Bengal, devised a strategy to prevent people being excommunicated. He argued that instead of excommunicating people who had been compelled to violate the tenets of Hinduism, they should be given the status of a special community within the Hindu religion. For example, families from which a girl had been abducted became one community, those who had been forced to take onions or beef became another community, etc. The members of these communities were permitted to marry amongst themselves and engage in normal social relations. This system was called the Melbandhan system, and it saved the Brahmin community of Bengal from conversion to Islam. Although the Kayastha community of Bengal did not accept the Melbandhan system, they accepted its inner spirit, and there after they did not excommunicate any of their members.” (1)

Re: Retreats: why fee-based system is bad
Namaskar Baba.
Loved reading Mukunda's note on Pay / No pay retreats . Very clearly stated the benefits for AMPS in general if attendees pay by donations . Pay a definite amount appears to be like reserving a room at Hilton or Hyatt hotels . No love is in it . It's pure business ...the Vaishya thing . Many get turned away as they can noy pay due to their circumstances.
I ask Margiis all over the world should follow the donation model and you will see that more money comes in than fee charged at the end of the retreats .
I have never charged a fee to any one to attend retreats .Attendees very well know that thre is some cost involved . They them selves collect voluntary donations and pay up all expenses . There was a never a shortage . As the haves after enjoying BABA's bliss for 3 days continuously are inspired to give more and to do more for AMPS. they even provide a donation to Dada's or deedis
Baba always inspired some one to buy a ticket or provide some money for my basic needs. Oh yes I asked from Baba (SDM ) in 1965 during my tour in Karnataka State for travel purposes and Baba provided me that as Baba was still working in Railways and contributing 50% to AMPS . So basically I had a weekness to ask a penny from anyone but Baba.
Hope at least some w/t's give it a chance to test this way.
