Trap kiirtana
Namaskar,
These days in the garb of a kiirtana program some are propagating the annual death day dogma. Kiirtana is a spiritual tool to uplift a sa’dhaka’s mind, but it is being used as a large-scale plan of deception to involve innocent and unsuspecting Ma’rgiis in committing a sin of observing annual death day dogma.

Attending means supporting cause
Here are some key points everyone should know about the mahaprayan / shraddhainjali dogma:
Attending Tiljala dogma means supporting the cause of the annual death day.
Some wrongly justify that, “What is wrong, I am just going to Tiljala for the kiirtana, not for the sake of the mahaprayan program.” Here it should be clear: Going to the annual mahaprayan gathering for the sake of doing kiirtan is a bogus justification. Merely attending that mahaprayan gathering signifies your wholehearted support of that event. The fundamental equation is if anyone is doing anything anywhere and you go to their location and do what they are doing, it means you are supporting their cause. That is the basic formula that can be applied to countless situations.
Let’s look at this from another angle. Who can forget when Baba was in jail and our Ananda Margii brothers and sisters from all over converged on-site to protest the injustices. Margiis sang kiirtan. And participation in those kiirtan rallies demonstrated support for the greater cause. Those days Jai Prakash Narayan called the police on margiis and had them arrested on the basis that their participation in that kiirtana meant they were the supporters of the political protests against Baba’s incarceration.
Later on, after the rally, that same kiirtana would be sung for purely spiritual purposes during dharmacakra etc. Here the point is that doing kiirtan or raising the slogan at a rally means supporting that issue or cause.

Of late, both H and B groups have used kiirtana programs as a strategy to reclaim and recapture various AMPS buildings for their group cause. And those who participate in that kiirtana are their pawns for their groupist agenda. That is what happened in Goddha, Ananda Nagar, Bhopal, and numerous other places where H and B were battling for control of that jagriti etc. Kiitana programs are their main arsenal for capturing those properties from the opposite group. This happened so many times in the past and will happen in the future also as this is their cherished strategy.
Ananda Marga Caryacarya says, “The period of mourning should not extend beyond twelve days.” (1)
Kiirtana: bait to commemorate annual death day dogma (MPD)
Using kiirtana as a bait to deceive innocent ma’rgiis into following the annual death day dogma is a sin of the highest order (maha’pa’pa). The MPD organizers are indulging in sin no doubt but they are also trapping innocent ma’rgiis in committing this sin. The analogy of an animal trapped by a hunter using bait best describes the aforementioned situation. See below picture in which an animal is shown to be trapped by the trap set by a hunter.
The innocent animal trapped in the photo, represents a simple Ma'rgii. The food used as bait by the hunter to trap the animal represents kiirtana. The trap in the photo, which grabbed the animal's leg, is the sin of the annual death ceremony. By the trap, the animal will die. And by taking part in this negative dogma of MPD, the ma'rgiis get submerged in sin.
Ananda Marga Caryacarya says, “The period of mourning should not extend beyond twelve days.” (1)
Margiis unaware of their devious aims
The agents spread this propaganda of MPD kiirtana in hopes of attracting maximum margiis to attend. These MPD agents are represented by the hunters who set the trap in the photo. So the animal is innocent and has no idea about the unscrupulous aims of the hunter. It comes looking for food, and gets caught in the trap.

Similarly Ma’rgiis are innocent and have no idea about the deceitful aims of the MPD agents. Margiis come looking for kiirtana, and get caught in the trap of the sin of participating in the annual death ceremony (MPD).
But Ananda Marga Caryacarya says, “The period of mourning should not extend beyond twelve days.” (1)
So be careful because theirs is a deliberate strategy to involve more and more people in the annual death day dogma. The way a dogma can be propagated is by engaging and involving a large number of people to follow it. Other people who see a large number of people doing something dogmatic begin to feel that the dogma is a proper thing as many others are also participating. This is how a large number of irrational dogmatic practices have been propagated and made mainstream in human society.
Readers can easily draw parallels between the analogy of the animal ensnared in the trap and the annual death day kiirtana program.

An act of cowardice in addition to sin
The organisers of annual death day programs are displaying their cowardice in addition to their sin by advertising their death day program in the name of kiirtan. If they openly said that they are organizing an annual death day program then that would have been a lesser sin than their current deceptive tactic to lure the innocent and unsuspecting ma’rgiis into committing a sin. However, open proclamation of annual death day celebration will deter the ma’rgiis as most ma’rgiis know that annual death day celebration is adha’rmic and sinful. Thus, to conduct the program in a covert manner the aforementioned tactic is cowardly used by the organizers.

Annual death day dogma: dirt on shoes that makes temple dirty
According to Baba’s teachings, a death should not be observed for more than 12 days unlike in dogmatic religions wherein often someone’s death is observed for many years. When people walk through a muddy place and accumulate dirt in their shoes and carry the same to a neat and clean temple then they will make even the temple dirty. Those people who have a dogmatic religious background, they often bring in their dogmatic dirt into Ananda Marga Praca’rak Samgha and try to spread the same. The annual death day celebration is one such example of a dirty dogma that is being imported into Ananda Marga.

Conclusion
The annual death day program as a platform to sing kiirtana is sinful according to Baba’s guidelines in Caryacarya. Of course, true ma’rgiis are not going to be befooled by the organizers, and will thereby get saved from sin.
In Him,
Bhakti

~ In-depth study ~
In the below image an innocent animal is shown to be trapped and suffering. Hunters lay deceptive booby traps and put some food close to lure the animals. Unsuspecting animals come close to eat the food and get trapped. The trapped limb becomes all bloodied and the animal has to undergo immense suffering.

The organizers of the annual death day program hunt for the Ma’rgiis. They lay the booby trap of kiirtan to lure Ma’rgiis. The Ma’rgiis flock together thinking that they will get spiritual inspiration during the kiirtan. However, instead of getting inspiration, the Ma’rgiis get deceived into committing the sin of participating in the annual death day program which contravenes the Ananda Marga teachings. The Ma’rgiis, just like the trapped animal, will suffer in the noose of sin.

Way to help hypochondriacs
Even though they do not have any physical problem, psychically diseased people mentally suffer and cry and complain about different imagined physical ailments. Such types of psychic diseases are called mania. There was no disease per se, but the person was convinced he was sick. Following is one example:
Sadguru Baba says, "There was another person I knew who was quite healthy and carried out his daily activities with ease, and yet he was under the impression, for no particular reason, that there was some trouble in his stomach. Actually there was no disease; he was in good health. Yet occasionally he used to come to me and complain that there was some disorder in his stomach. This was his [psychic disease] of mania." (1)
Herein lies the solution:
Ananda Marga philosophy says, "One of the numerous benefits of sa'dhana' is that it keeps the mind free from psychic disease." (2)

Scene from 2017
A global program entitled “Kiirtan for peace and all round prosperity” has been announced in which the participants are exhorted to sing Kiirtana for 15 minutes on October 20 and 21. It is not difficult to determine that in the garb of a Kiirtana program this is scam to propagate annual death day dogma all over the world. Kiirtana is a spiritual tool to uplift a Sa’dhaka’s mind but it is used as a large-scale deception to involve innocent and unsuspecting Ma’rgiis in committing a sin of observing annual death day dogma.
The below image shows the announcement of the annual death day ceremony in the garb of a seemingly harmless Kiirtan program. The date of the program has been chosen to be October 20 and 21.
In the above image the announcement of annual death day program which flashes in between the Youtube video has been shown. The annual death day program is falsely projected as a harmless Kiirtan program. As you know, the 21st of October is the day for MPD commemoration. The agents are cowards; that’s why they are hiding the name “MPD” from their brochure. So they are masquerading under the cover of kiirtana.
In the scan below, the organizers are exhorting people all over the world to “share kiirtan”. However, the true intention is to make people all around the world participate in their annual death day dogma on October 20/21; this is not just an effort to collect some people in one physical location. They want to do that too, in Tiljala; but by this effort they are trying to entrap those who remain in their local places as well. It is, therefore, a large-scale deception and represents use of technology to scale-up the propaganda of annual death day.
