Baba
Note: See here how some mourners are wailing at the Islamic shraddhainjali of Marhum Ahamad Zaman. This is a barely known important point about Caryacarya.
Namaskar,
This letter addresses how an appendix was added to our Caryacarya part 1 in October 1990. And that appendix contained the dogma of “shraddhainjali”.
After Oct 1990, they added the point that shraddhainjali should be offered to Shrii Shrii Anandamurti ji during the mahaprayan commemoration. Since then B group has been offering shraddhainjali to Baba annually. They have made it into a very grand, divine, and heavenly occasion in Ananda Marga Pracaraka Samgha. By this way, common margiis and wts were misguided and wrongly led to believe that shraddhainjali is something very great.
And still today, many margiis are not aware about shraddhainjali. What to say about family margiis, even “great, great” Wts are confused about this shraddhainjali dogma. They think this “practice” came directly from heaven - the 7th sky, and that this is something very divine, pious, and grand. Because for the last 29 years certain interested parties have brainwashed the Wt / margii population on a large-scale.
Now see in the general society how shraddhainjali came into being. This letter reveals how the dogma of shraddhainjali is performed in Bengal and whether this refers to living or dead people - as well as whether it can be used with Sadguru, Taraka Brahma, and Mahasambhuti.

Islamic dogma of annual death day / tomb worship
Below please find an entirely new scene depicting a dogmatic shraddhainjali function. As we all now know, shraddhainjali is just a death day / mahaprayan / tomb worship type of program. When any human being dies then shraddhainjali is performed for the deceased.
In the appendix to the post 1990 edition Caryacarya 1, they added shraddhainjali to describe their mahaprayan divas program. Since shraddhainjali is not part of Baba's discourses or Ananda Marga philosophy, many Ananda Margiis may not know what the dogma of shraddhainjali is. That is what those in Tiljala were hoping as they wanted to befool margiis on this matter.
But, with every passing day more and more are becoming aware...
Shraddhainjali is done by Muslims - for a death ceremony. So the shraddhainjali dogma is a death / mahaprayan / shraddha ceremony or tomb worship for any human being.
Women are crying & grief-stricken
See here below how these Muslims are in dire mourning at this shraddhainjali / mahaprayan / tomb worship for the deceased - Marhum Ahamad Zaman Choudhury. In the below photo three women are in sheer and utter despair. It is a Friday morning at 10am and they are looking at the body of their loved one just before the burial is to occur. The body of the deceased will soon to be lowered into the ground. So the women are crying hysterically; they are grief stricken. See all the people - the large crowd - standing behind those three females. So many have come to pay homage and their final respects to the deceased. The last rights are to be performed.
Some of those in attendance are Asaduzzaman Nur, Mahabube Alam, Sayad Zamim, Naem Imtiyaz Neyamul, Abdurrhaman, Iqbal Karim, Nishan, Gulam Saroyar, Razzak, Deloyar Zahan, Ahamad Sharif, Nazarul Islam, Mahafuzur Rahaman, Mantazur Rahaman Akbar, Misha Saudagar, Umar Mohammad etc.
In this below article from a Bengali newspaper, the term shraddhainjali has been used twice - see the highlighted words in orange and yellow in Bengali script. Both those highlighted words are the dogmatic term “shraddhainjali” which means the mahaprayan / death ceremony for their friend / relative who died. Take a look at the scene.
Ingredients of shraddhainjali dogma / worship of deceased
So the needed ingredients for shraddhainjali are:
1. Dead person (Note: Shraddhainjali cannot be done for a living person like Ac Rudrananda Avt, Ac Sarvatmananda Avt, Ac Citsvarupananda Avt, Ac Mantreshvarananda Avt, Ac Bhaveshananda Avt, Ananda Giita Acarya, Ac Raviishananda Avt, Ac. Vicitrananda Avt, Ac Madhuvratananda, Ac Pranavatmakananda Avt, Ac Nabhatiitanadna, Ac Dhyaneshananda Avt, Ac Hariishananda, Ac Haratamananda Avt, Parameshvarananda,Ac Kinshukji, Ac Vishvadevananda Avt etc. In order to do shraddhainjali for them one must wait. Because one cannot do shraddhainjali of a living person.)
2. Casket or tomb
3. Flowers (real or artificial / paper or plastic), small or large amount
4. Toys (if the deceased is a child)
5. Scents
6. Water (optional)
7. Chants (Recited in Arabic, Hebrew, Latin, or Sanskrit - or done in the local language if needed.)
8. Head priest, or mullah, or senior avadhuta, or purodha pramukha (any single one is enough)
9. Mourners (minimum one and maximum as much as possible). To show greater respect people hire or rent mourners. They do this for various leaders; those rented mourners will raise the slogan in favour of the deceased or cry out loud as requested.
http://anandamarganewsbulletin.blogspot.com/
The above points are inherent to any shraddhainjali dogma. So by placing shraddhainjali in the post 1990 Caryacarya appendix, the insinuation is that all these things will be done.
Note: Here it should be understood that shraddhainjali refers to both (a) the day of the actual death ceremony and (b) the annual commemoration of the death. In both instances it is called as a shraddhainjali program.
Conclusion
Prior to 1990, this shraddhainjali dogma was non-existent in Ananda Marga Pracaraka Samgha. This was transplanted from Islam in the last week of October 1990.
Sadly, just as the above Muslims are performing shraddhainjali / mahaprayan / death ceremony, in Tiljala this same type of event is going on. The mahaprayan organisers do an annual shraddhainjali function. Effectively, they have grabbed onto the Islamic dogma of shraddhainjali and inserted into our Ananda Marga. First they fast-tracked it into Caryacarya and then actively promoted their shraddhainjali / mahaprayan / tomb worship event, year after year after year.

That is the story how the Muslim dogma of shraddjainjali / mahaprayan / tomb worship has made its way into our Ananda Marga Pracaraka Samgha. With your efforts and by joining with others, this shraddhainjali / mahaprayan / annual death day dogma will be wiped away from the books and as an annual commemoration. It has no place in our Ananda Marga way of life.

Shraddhainjali dogma wrongly inserted into Caryacarya
Here is the paragraph from the appendix of post-1990 CaryaCarya - 1 where they have added shraddhainjali.
No annual shraddhainjali program: In our Ananda Marga Pracaraka Samgha, there is no scope to do any type of annual death ceremony.
The dogma of shraddhainjali is a death day / mahaprayan ceremony: The term “shraddhainjali” is written in the above Bengali newspaper article because they are mourning the deceased - it is a death day / mahaprayan gathering. That is the dogma of shraddhainjali.
http://anandamarganewsbulletin.blogspot.com/
Why hypocritical: In one breath our Wt dadas say that
Sadguru Baba is guiding you and in the next breath they say He is dead - mahaprayan
“True bhakta know that there is no such thing as mahaprayan for Sadguru Baba. As the Sadguru He never passes away, He is omnipresent. So those who Wts how believe in & propagate that Sadguru is dead are confused. Actually they are displaying hypocritical behaviour.
When Our Avadhutas acaryas give initiation, or revise anyone’s lesson, or give further lessons of sadhana, they say, “I am just a medium - Sadguru Taraka Brahma Shrii Shrii Anandamurtiji is teaching you and He is ever-present."
So in one breath our Wt dadas say that Sadguru Lord Shrii Shrii Anandamurtiji is guiding you and in the next breath they say He is dead - mahaprayan. That is both hypocritical and sinful. Hypocritical because they are telling one thing and doing something else. They are saying that Guru is no more in their mahaprayan program, yet when teaching sadhana they are relying on Him. And it is sinful because it is abusive against Guru.
It is similar to your own children playing before you and talking among themselves that, “My mother is dead.” As a mother, how will you feel. And not only that, they go one step ahead, before your eyes they started commemorating your annual death day ceremony. How do you feel about their ignorance?
True bhaktas never participate in an annual death ceremony of the ever-present God. That is against pre-1990 Caryacarya.”

Shraddhainjali dogma wrongly inserted into Caryacarya
Here is the paragraph from the appendix of post-1990 CaryaCarya - 1 where they have added shraddhainjali.
"Programmes on this day shall include nagar kiirtana, devotional songs of Prabhát Saḿgiita (without dance) appropriate to the solemnity of the occasion, akhańd́a kiirtana, shraddháiṋjali, vánii exhibition, bookstall, tree-planting, sadávrata, other welfare activities, prasáda distribution, Bábá stories (satsauṋga), tattvasabhá, conferences and symposia." (Post-1990 Caryacarya -1, Appendix)So we can see how they are worthless and blind - completely dogmatic these purodhas were and are. Because of their lowly standard, our AMPS organisation has been pulverised into pieces because of those 3rd class purodhas. Their qualification was put on display in the very last week of October. Their first work was to impose this dogma and turn Ananda Marga into a religion. That is the sad story.
“The above appendix on Maháprayáńa Divasa - 21st October 1990 - [...] was discussed and passed as a resolution on 25th August 1991 unanimously by all members of the Central Committee of Ánanda Márga Pracáraka Saḿgha, and it was decided that this (resolution) should be added as an appendix to Caryácarya Part 1.
