Baba places great importance on the study of history as it enables both individuals and communities to learn from past mistakes and thereby progress. Failing that, without the study of history, people commit the same old blunders over and over again. In which case, they remain shackled by the crimes of the past and are unable to advance. So the review of history holds a unique place for the progress of any society.
As Ananda Margiis, we must know the history of Ananda Marga Pracaraka Samgha (AMPS) and our stand on key events. Please read this below piece that clearly documents how they are falsely presenting PP Dada as a guru which contradicts tantra and AM ideology wherein Baba’s guideline is that all in AMPS are disciples, regardless of their post. This piece was first posted in 2017 on this network, yet these types of shocking incidents still abound in AMPS.

In the 1960s when kiirtan was first given, Sadguru Baba used to come and sit on the dais. Sadhakas would gather round and sing bhajans and then do kiirtan. And Baba would graciously remain there. After kiirtan He would deliver His pravacan.
In the late 1970’s, after the jail period, Baba changed the system. As in the past He would come and sit and listen to bhajans and kiirtan. Then He would give His discourse. But then afterwards He would remain on His dais and listen to bhajans and kiirtan. He used to stay there until the kiirtan was finished. And when kiirtan was over then He would leave and everyone would do sadhana.

In the early to mid 1980’s, Sadguru Baba would deliver His pravacan and remain on the dais as kiirtan began. And during the middle of kiirtan Sadguru Baba would quietly leave the pandal for health reasons. And all those who had come would continue singing kiirtan.
In the late 1980's, Baba would complete His discourse and then say, “Now everybody should sing kiirtan.” For health reasons, Baba would leave the dais as kiirtan started.
The central idea is that disciples of Shrii Shrii Anandamurti ji should participate in kiirtan. PP is also a disciple; he is not guru. So PP should participate in kiirtan, but he does not do so. That is disgraceful. According to Ananda Marga ideology the ideal scenario is for bhaktas to join in kiirtan. So when PP finishes his lecture he should come down from the stage and join others and do kiirtan.
Unqualified people have captured the show
PP should behave as a disciple and sing and dance kiirtan. PP should not sit on the dais while kiirtan is going on and pretend he is Guru. Nor should PP walk away when kiirtan starts. But unfortunately, either PP sits on his seat as if people are singing kiirtan for him, or he says, “Now you should do kiirtan”, and walks off the stage and leaves the pandal entirely.
One should take lesson from the chapter in Caryacarya about dharmacakra. There Baba has given the hint that on the spiritual realm all disciples are the same before the Lord. That is why it is written that everyone should sit on the same seat, i.e. not higher or lower etc. Unfortunately, what PP is doing now gives a completely opposite message. It is disgraceful that slowly, little by little, all of the good points of Ananda Marga teachings have been demolished and replaced with dogma. Unqualified people have captured the show and imposed the atmosphere of terror. Bootlickers are the only occupying the higher posts and implementing dogma. The situation is pathetic.

Conclusion
Our duty is to raise the voice against all sorts of sinful activities. No matter how much darkness there is, the sunrise is going to come. This is the clarion call for all moralists to unite and give one big blow to the sinners. They will not find any path to run away. Ultimately dharma will be victorious.

Sadguru Baba says, “You boys, you girls, you the spiritual aspirants, must always remember that you must never surrender at the altar of dogma. In the past, dogma committed so many nuisances, dogma created so many fissiparous tendencies in this human society. Your slogan should be “Dogma – No more! Dogma – No more!” Establish yourselves above the boundaries of dogma, and be established in the excellence of human glory.” (1)
Ananda Marga says, "To follow Bhágavata Dharma, you are also to follow the shástra of Bhágavata Dharma. You are to follow Yama and Niyama, you are to follow the code of discipline, you are to attend Dharmacakra weekly. These are all codes of discipline as prescribed by Bhágavata Dharma. You must follow these codes. There cannot be any concession in this respect, rather concession is dangerous. Atha yogánushásanam. “One must follow anushásanam. One must follow the code of discipline.” One may be a king or may be a very poor man, but the code of dharma is equally applicable to all. In this matter, nobody can claim any special concession or favour." (2)
Foolish imitation to show PP is Guru
(A) In small meetings like acarya and avadhuta reporting etc, Sadguru Baba would sit the entire time for avarta kiirtan and up to Guru puja etc. Those reportings were not very long, like in DMC, so He was able to remain there throughout. And when Guru puja, was completed, He would leave.
(B) Sometimes PP says, “Ok now, you all do kiirtan,” and PP walks away. But he should not do that rather PP should stay and participate in kiirtan. After all, he also is a disciple and he should sing and dance kiirtan.

In reporting
(C) In reporting, Wts sit on ground facing and PP sits in chair, and behind PP is Baba’s photo. So no Wt can see Baba. This is done intentionally. That is why PP is sitting very close to and directly in front of Baba so it is impossible to see His photo. This is his hypocrisy - PP is occupying Baba’s place as if to give the message that PP is everything.
(D) When Wts sing Prabhat Samgiita, then PP quietly sits and looks left to right and right to left. This is so pathetic. Bhaktas want to jump up and kick him on his face - out of deep bhakti for Guru.
(E) After reporting is over, then PP says, “You all do kiirtan and Guru Puja” and then PP walks away. Sadly PP is just trying to pretend that he is actually Baba. That is Rudrananda’s grotesque training.
(F) Unqualified people have captured the show and imposed the atmosphere of terror. Bootlickers are the only occupying the higher posts and implementing dogma. The situation is pathetic.

Whisper in my ear
"Ajáná pathik alakár kathá, shonáo bárek ese..." (Prabhat Samgiita #1580)
Purport:
O’ Ajana Pathik, kindly, just once, come to me and whisper in my ear, the tale of the divine spiritual realm. Let me know how You have created this colourful universe. How is it that nebulae and galaxies are floating in the vast blue sky; and, to which unknown world and direction are they floating away.
O’ Supreme Father, prithee guide and recount to me: Are those perceptions that I receive through my inferences - eyes, nose, ears, touch, and tongue etc - the only truth? And are those things which I do not perceive with my motor and sensory organs just an illusion? Are those false? Baba, I request You to tell which is unfounded and false and which is unchanging truth. Make me aware about those things of the past that are no longer here in the present.
O’ my Supreme Guide, gently let me know, are those so-called God’s words that have been written in the so-called scriptures? And, are those ideas that are not in the so-called scriptures meaningless? Baba, enter in my mind, sit on my mental lotus, and whisper the truth to all my queries which I have kept in my mind since long. Merciful Taraka Brahma, move closer and apprise me of the stories of the spiritual land - the sphere of bhakti...

[1] Ajana Pathik: The term Aja'na' Pathik means 'The Divine Entity Parama Purusa Who moves around this entire universe, and resides everywhere and knows everything; irrespective of where one goes, He remains along with you'. That is one of His many unique attributions and that is the speciality of the name 'Ajana Pathik'. The name 'Ajana Pathik' denotes this special quality.
Literally, Aja'na' means 'unknown' and Pathik means 'traveler' or ‘tourist.’ But this is just the word by word, literal translation; and, proper nouns are not meant to be translated. So we cannot call Him the ‘Unknown Traveler’ or ‘Unknown Tourist', or Unknown Vacationer', or 'Unknown Backpacker', or 'Unknown Visitor', or 'Unknown Globetrotter', or 'Unknown Daytripper', or 'Unknown Hitchhiker.’ The spirit and meaning is then lost.
The inner sense of the name Ajana Pathik is that Parama Purusa is always moving throughout this vast cosmos and He is constantly present with everyone, all the time. He is in the Cosmic Nucleus, yet at the same time through His ota and prota yoga He is everywhere - carefully watching & lovingly guiding everyone. This unique aspect of His grand Personality is treated as Aja'na' Pathik. Because He is constantly traveling yet present everywhere. He is in the nucleus as well as throughout this entire universe.
As the Ajana Pathik, Parama Purusa Baba moves and moves and moves. In their spiritual approach bhaktas feel that wherever they go the Aja'na' Pathik will always be there to shower His blessing. By His grace, bhaktas can always get His intimate company and companionship. With this mystical link, sadhakas understand that Parama Purusa is present everywhere, yet side by side He travels on and on throughout this entire cosmos. Thus He is Aja'na' Pathik.
Overall, the name Aja'na' Pathik has one special and unique meaning that goes far beyond its literal translation. And in our hearts we A'nanda Ma'rgiis know and feel that Baba is that Aja'na' Pathik. Indeed in His discourses, in Dharma Samiiksa, and in reporting, in DMC, and in numerous ways Baba has shown this very fact that He is ever-present and always along with us. He is always moving, and wherever we go then He will also be there. Parama Purusa has infinite attributions and one of them is this special quality where He always remains along with us wherever we are in this vast universe. In this way, He is known as - Aja'na' Pathik. In true sense, as the omnipresent Entity, He does not go anywhere because He is everywhere; but, in a more literal manner, He goes from place to place.
Those who use ‘Unknown Traveler’ or ‘Unknown Tourist’ in place of Aja'na' Pathik are naive and ignorant.

Hypocrisy of conservatives & liberals
Ananda Marga philosophy says, “Abortion is killing the potentialities...there is hardly any difference between you and an embryo...he [the embryo] is now within the body of the mother. And you are outside the body of the mother...You have got no moral right to kill him.” (1)
Note: Many often mistake liberalism for Ananda Marga teachings. Ananda Marga ideology is neither "liberal" nor "conservative"; it has nothing to do with such terms. Rather, AM ideology has only to do with truth, i.e. dharma.
For example, AM ideology teaches that a human being's life begins at the time the sperm and egg join to form a fertilized egg. Due to that we do not support abortion. Abortion represents the murder of a human being. That having been said, nor do we support the "conservative" approach to this issue because the conservatives are unwilling to take responsibility as a society for the babies which are born. If abortion is removed from the table, it has to be recognized that people are going to continue getting pregnant when they did not want or intend to in all sorts of situations. Those babies will be born and society must take responsibility for the proper care and upbringing of those children, so they can grow and develop with all the same opportunities as other children and become successful in their lives. Conservatives are staunchly against "big government", and oppose funding social programs which are vitally needed for the support of all these babies which will be getting born in unplanned / unwanted situations. The conservative position on this issue is completely hypocritical and indeed harmful. They want to stop abortions, yet have no concern or sympathy for the babe once it is born.
In addition, these conservatives raise the hue and cry of "Pro-life!", and then go home at night and have steak for dinner. By this, we are not equating human and animal life, but are saying that to be "pro-life" as a policy one must be sincere in really supporting life. The more developed the creature, the more its life is to be protected. We know Baba's teaching regarding ahimsa; the conservatives are total hypocrites on this point of "pro-life".
We can understand then that Ananda Marga ideology walks the line of truth; it has nothing to do with liberal or conservative. This point should to be clearly understood by Margiis around the world. And this only underscores and calls out more, the critical need for ideological discussion. That is the only way difficult, sensitive societal issues can be raised and brought to the fore in light of Ananda Marga ideology. Unfortunately, nowadays many are either scared to speak the truth on these matters, or are themselves blind and in the dark as to what Ananda Marga ideology actually says. All the more need for the young so-called liberal Margiis to study Ananda Marga ideology, discuss these matters in a meaningful way, and come to know how Sadguru Baba is guiding the society forward.

Gross misuse of artistic talents
Ananda Marga philosophy states, "Here it must be noted that artists must seek to exhibit to people the simple form of truth, sweetened with the sweetness of their hearts. But it is a matter of great regret that a class of modern artists, in the realms of poetry, novels, cinema, drama, etc., employ all their artistic talents for the sole purpose of kindling people’s crude sensuality, instead of portraying human propensities with the idealistic outlook of a true artist – what to speak of portraying their subtle human feelings. Without supporting conservatism, I would say that this class of artists is truly a blot on society." (1)
