Baba
See stinky dogma sprouting in AMPS
Namaskar,
Look what is happening in our AMPS - some are treating the river Ganges as something holy. Here first is Guru’s dharmic teaching.
Ananda Marga philosophy states, “Blind religious followers refuse to listen to logic as their religious sentiment for cows has taken root deep in their minds. People are fed these ideas since childhood, so later on it becomes impossible for them to discard them....Yet due to the deep rooted Saḿskaras in the mind, they rush to take a holy bath in the Ganges.” (1)
There is no place in our AMPS for following dogmatic Hindu rituals like taking bath in the Gaunga / Ganges river. There is no benefit of taking a dip in Gaunga river. Rather, it is a complete dogma to think taking a bath in the Ganges river will bring about your spiritual purification. So those bathing in the Ganges before celebrating Baba’s birthday are very misguided, sadly. On top of all that already has been written, the Ganges river is terribly polluted.

Thus, when such dogmatic news is getting published in newspapers it means the reputation of Ananda Marga Pracaraka Samgha is getting tarnished. After reading this news, the general public and potential sadhakas will treat Ananda Marga teachings as the same as those of the dogmatic Hindu religion. In that case, idealistic youths looking for dharmic teachings will avoid Ananda Marga ideology and equate it with those old, outdated, rotten religions.
All the dogmas that have been dragged into AMPS must be eradicated at the earliest. Furthermore, the bhukti pradhan of Jamalpur must be taught a lesson for going against Ananda Marga norms.
Hundreds of family margiis took dip in river Ganges
Here below the BP of Monghyr is announcing in this Hindi newspaper article that it is a long standing ritual in AMPS to bathe in the Ganges to purify oneself in preparation for Guru’s birthday. So for the celebration of Ananda Purnima all margiis will (a) bathe in holy water of the river Ganges, (b) do their rituals of sadhana and Guru puja on the banks of the Ganges, and (c) take collective food by the river. By now they have surely taken a bath in the river Ganges.
