Tales of suffering of home kids

Some time back surfaced in which a woman, herself a former AMPS children's home girl, is recounting the tortures she had to face during her years in the AMPS children's home. The link to this video is provided near the end of this post, after the signature. She has described in gory detail the torment, abuse, and persecution she underwent during the many years when she was raised in an AMPS Children's Home. This woman is demanding that the Central Government of India investigate the ongoing tortures which children face still today in AMPS Children's Homes.
During the course of her interview, she has recounted various serious wrongdoings by WTs. Such as how wt dadas and didis hide or squander most donations which are given for the children---while these very children, for whom the donations are given, are not getting their basic needs met. Instead, they face regular and severe punishment at the hands of these very dadas and didis. The current incharges such as Rudrananda, Madhuvratananda, Danavrata, Vishvadevananda; and, Sarvatmananda, Raviishananda, Kinshukarainjan etc. are the main culprits.
Here following are a few of the severe mistreatments, by dadas and didis, of AMPS Children's Home boys and girls.
Tortures, abuse, and beating home kids
1. When their mother died, the video interviewee and her three siblings were all given over to the care of the AMPS main office by their father. Soon thereafter the father died as well, and at that time the four children, then only a few years old, were separated and placed each in different AMPS children's homes in different states of India. Here was the first injustice, that these four siblings, having lost their mother and father, were now separated from each other as well. By this they lost the only emotional support which they had: each other. Wt dadas and didis sell or hide most donations which are given for the kids, while the kids are not getting basic needs but face harsh penalties for simple things like chores etc. Current incharges such as Rudrananda, Madhuvratananda, Danavrata, Vishvadevananda; Sarvatmananda, Raviishananda, Kinshukarainjan etc. are the main culprits.

Kids face ghastly treatment
2. Baba's rule is that children should not be transferred outside the area of their native language. This rule was not followed. Instead, this woman's little sister was sent to an AMPS childrens home in Rajahmundry, Andra Pradesh; her little brother was transferred to Hyderabad; the middle sister was transferred to Delhi, and the speaker herself was transferred to Ranchi. Wherever they got posted into new homes, they were alien to that area and the local language was unknown to them. Wts sell or hide most donations which are given for the kids, while the kids are not getting basic needs and have to face suffering by the hand of their supervisor dadas and didis.
Poor or no education for kids
3. The woman speaking in the video related that, although as a young home girl she was given many duties in running the school, she was never permitted to attend as a student and was never educated. Her duty was to sweep the floor of the building, wash the clothes of WT's, and cook for them. And this is the case for about 80% of children in AMPS Children's Homes: mostly they do not get the opportunity for proper education.
Kids' pangs of hunger
4. The woman in the video relates that in the children's home she was in, the in-charge Didi used to give only a small amount of food to eat to the children, and the children would often awaken during the night in hunger. Sometimes when they could not sleep due to these pangs of hunger, they would get up and try to prepare something to eat. As Didi would lock the kitchen at night, the only thing available was whole course raw wheat from the store room. In desperation they had to cook that raw wheat in the middle of the night and eat it. It was the duty of one child to cook, another to watch the gas, and yet another to keep security watch on Didi, who had overeaten and was sleeping in the next room. They were watching to ensure she did not awaken and give them extra beating. Kids’ duty: massage body of didis/dadas
5. It is the general trend in AMPS Children's Homes that if any of the children do not do their chores and massage the body of dadas and didis properly, they get beaten-- in many cases mercilessly. This was and remains a regular affair in AMPS Children's Homes. This used to occur with the woman's little brother in Hyderabad, and one day when he was six or seven years old the beating, doled out by Purnananda, was so severe that the boy escaped and ran away from the ashram. Purnananda did not issue any search request with the police, and the child was never seen again. To this day the woman does not know anything about her brother, or where he has gone. Running away from an AMPS Childrens Home in Hyderabad not knowing the local language, one can only imagine what may have been his situation on the streets. Didis and dadas sell or hide most donations that come for the kids but these very kids are not getting basic needs and face severe maltreatment.

Inhuman treatment of kids
5. During the video interview, the woman was at Jantar Mantar in Delhi, to protest the above injustices to herself and her family and to request the government to address these wrongs, as well as to investigate the current injustices at AMPS Children's Homes around India to ensure that such inhuman treatment of children must not continue. She was also demanding that the case of her little brother who fled from the AMPS Childrens Home due to torture, as well as that of her sister who was also missing, should be investigated to find their whereabouts and history. Didis and dadas sell or hide most donations which come for the kids but these very kids are not getting basic needs and face harsh treatment. Current incharges such as Rudrananda, Madhuvratananda, Danavrata, Vishvadevananda; Sarvatmananda, Raviishananda, and Kinshukarainjan etc are the main culprits.
Note: Those who are sincere Margiis are aware that this is not an isolated case; this type of injustice is very common in AMPS Children's Homes. And it is still going on. So we request sadhakas to spread this message and arouse consciousness on this issue, so that torture of AMPS Childrens Home kids can be stopped and the culprits punished.
