Baba places great importance on the study of history as it enables both individuals and communities to learn from past mistakes and thereby progress. Failing that, without the study of history, people commit the same old blunders over and over again. In which case, they remain shackled by the crimes of the past and are unable to advance. So the review of history holds a unique place for the progress of any society.

As Ananda Margiis, we must know the history of Ananda Marga Pracaraka Samgha (AMPS) and our stand on key events such as the formation of Prout. Please read this below piece that clearly documents how one of our Prout magazines began propagating communist slogans in the name of Prout. This piece was first posted in 2013 on this network, yet this Prout publication has never made a formal statement correcting this wrong, rather similar mistakes continue to be made.

As we know, the essence of our Prout philosophy aims to eradicate all sorts of exploitation and build up a god-centered, socio-economic order based on the pillars of social justice and neo-humanism. From day #1, our Prout movement has been dead against the ruthless exploitation of communism - and those communist dictators.
Indeed, the Propounder of Prout philosophy, Shrii Prabhat Ranjan Sarkar has pointed out the ills of communism in numerous discourses, and in turn those hellacious communist leaders struck back on our Prout movement - committing so many ghastly murders and heinous attacks on our Ananda Marga monks etc. Yet our Prout movement stood firm - and was ultimately victorious.
Communists lip sync enchanting, hollow slogans
Yet see here how the Delhi Prout magazine is now printing & highlighting quotes from those very notorious communist tyrants like Fidel Castro of Cuba, i.e. the dictator of the island country just south of Florida (USA). Verily those Prout editors and publishers etc are glorifying Castro’s image - as if Castro is the voice of reason and the agent of positive change. That is the unbelievable scene that is going on.
The following quote from Castro was highlighted on page 31 of Vol-24, issue No 2 edition of the Delhi Prout magazine.

Our Prout movement fought evil communist forces
Prior to 1990, our Prout movement was deeply engaged in fighting the communist forces in order to establish neo-humanism and a just social order. Anyone involved in Ananda Marga those days is well aware about those. Those communists were leading ruthless and horrific raids on our headquarters in Ananda Nagar and at the same time those communist regimes were hell bent on exploiting their own people - and capturing other nations as well. Our Prout philosophy and Prout movements will be instrumental in bringing the final end to the inhuman ways of those communist exploiters and dictators. That day is fast approaching.
Delhi Prout sold out & glorified communist dictators
But now look at what has happened. Those same communists have duped Delhi Prout editors whereby those anti-social and ghastly communists are being glorified on the pages of our own Prout magazine. It is a course of events that no true Ananda Margii could ever have predicted or imagined. It is utterly inconceivable, sad, and shocking how the editors & publishers of Delhi Prout are now printing communist logos and jingles in our very own Prout magazine - the money for which is paid for by poor margiis.
The only question that remains is where those communists are so savvy that they could infiltrate our Prout Delhi magazine or whether our Delhi Prout editors are so blind. In either case, the outcome is completely unacceptable.

Communists mouth enchanting, hollow slogans
The below quote from the communist dictator Fidel Castro on page 31 of the above Delhi Prout magazine is the result. And not just that, there are many more examples of how certified communist writers are publishing their articles and filling the pages of Prout Delhi magazine. There is no shortage of proof.
Prout philosophy states, “Communism has gone against the very vital life surge of the people of India. Communists mouth enchanting, hollow slogans, and are trying to push the entire race down the path of animality where cardinal human values are non-existent.” (1)
This above jingle and empty slogan of the communist dictator Fidel Castro is being propagated by our own Prout literature - this is shameful and appalling. It is quite abhorrent to see communism being highlighted in our Prout magazine when those communists did so much to try and destroy Prout and Ananda Marga. Volumes and volumes could be written about their monstrous atrocities.
Those just entering into the door of Prout know that Prout is against capitalism and communism; but these editors and publishers etc lost their sense. Their place is in the lunatic asylum.

Communism: against the very vital life surge of the people
Remember, here are some of Guru’s guideline and warning about such ruthless communists:
“Question: Why was everything in communist countries done under the dark veil of the iron curtain?”
“Answer: Because they were conscious of the loopholes in communism and they did not want the world to know what they were doing.” (2)
Prout philosophy states, “In communism, the elite and party leaders misuse their psychic urges and direct their psychic pabula towards political manipulation and totalitarian repression. Under the oppression of communist rule the psychic pabula of the general people are suppressed into a state of doldrums.” (3)
FC Communist Leader: after winning power they go to any lengths to stay in power. After winning power they go to any lengths, including the adoption of undemocratic practices, to stay in power.
The glaring hypocrisy of communism
Prout philosophy states, “Communism is a collection of contradictions. In countries where the communists are not in government they support democracy, but in the communist system there is no democracy, only dictatorship. Communists may say they support democracy, but after winning power they go to any lengths, including the adoption of undemocratic practices, to stay in power. They advocate the commune system but the commune system has not been successful anywhere in the world. They talk of classlessness, but practice party rule by an elite. Communism is irrational and inhuman – it is against the human psyche.” (4)
Prout philosophy states, “In communist countries, no other ism other than Marxism can be preached. People are forced to support it. Institutions which have educational value should be controlled by educationalists and not by politicians. Educationalists should also control the radio, otherwise the party in power will have the opportunity to propagate their ism through the radio system, just as they do in the books approved by university boards.” (5)
Prout philosophy states, “In communist countries the party leaders used all their strength and every possible approach – force of arms, terror and control over freedom of speech – to keep the people oppressed. But today the conscience of the party leaders has revolted against these methods. This was the reason why the student movement in China was not suppressed for a long time.” (6)
All the above evils run rampant in the communist enclave of Cuba.
