Board, being the highest legally elected Board of the organization met on 1 July 2026 and after deliberation unanimously adopted the resolutions:---
1. Engagement with the Purodha Board: The Board noted that since the establishment of various Boards over the past two years, PP dada has not been able to devote sufficient time to meeting with the Boards, including the Purodha Board. The Board further noted that on 29th June 2026 several attempts were made to meet with PP Dada but those requests were declined. The Board considers that this lack of engagement has significantly impaired the ability of the Purodha Board to discharge its responsibilities and has adversely affected governance of the organization.
2. Inability to perform organizational duties: The Board noted that due to ill health PP Dada has been unable during the past two years to actively participate in or supervise important organizational functions including RDS, IRSS, Global RDS, LFT Reporting sessions, DMS, and other organizational activities. The Board recognizes that these health related limitations have created substantial difficulties in the administration of the organization. Accordingly the Board has resolved in the best interests of both the organization and PP Dada, that he be asked to resign with immediate effect, otherwise the Board finds no alternative but to relieve him of his organizational responsibilities in order to enable him to focus on his health and recovery.
3. Finding regarding the proposed lease of "Madhu Korak": The Board considered information placed before it indicating the legal steps had been taken to prepare a proposed ninety-nine (99) years lease of the M.G. Quarters known as "Madhu Korak", Tiljala from Ananda Marga Pracaraka Samgha to PP Dada's daughter. Having considered the information available to it, the Board finds that such action would be fundamentally inconsistent with the moral and administrative responsibilities expected of the holder of the office of Purodha Pramukha. The Board further considers that the M.G. Quarters "Madhu Korak" Tiljala possesses exceptional sacred, spiritual and historical significance to the organization and its members worldwide. Consequently, the Board finds that the proposed lease has raised serious concerns regarding the exercise of judgment expected of the holder of the highest office of the organization and has adversely affected confidence in that office among many Margiis'
4. lnterim exercise of the duties of Purodha Pramukh: Having considered the matters set out above and being satisfied that immediate organizational continuity is necessary' the purodha Board hereby resolved that it shall collectively discharge the organizational duties and responsibilities of the office of Purodha Pramukha on an interim basis until a new Purodha Pramukha is duly elected by the general Purodhas in accordance with Caryacarya.
5. Election of a new Purodha Pramukha: The Board hereby resolved that an emergency meeting of the General purodhas shall be convened on 20th August, 2026 for the purpose of electing a new Purodha Pramukh in accordance with Carya Carya'
6. Continuing personal care and facilities: The Board further resolves that these resolutions relate solely to organizational responsibilities and governance. Nothing content in these resolutions shall affect PP Dada's residential arrangements, personal care or the facilities presently provided to him. All such arrangements and facilities shall continue without interruption.
There being no further business, the meeting concluded with a vote of thanks to the chair.
