The below report shows how margiis are rallying together to withstand a bogus case where Ranchi Administration is suing Malaysian margiis for defamation with regards to Dada Mantrajapananda, who is a known sexual predator. Kindly read the details below.

We have been asked to show solidarity as Malaysian margiis are expected to pay by Friday their second instalment (of the second part) of their legal fees covering lawyer's fees and court's interlocutory applications.
The current situation of the Defamation case constructed against them by Ranchi administration of India and Malaysia and Manindra Singh (aka Mantrajapananda) is the following one:
On the 8th of May the judge will convene, look at all supporting evidence, interlocutory applications submitted by the lawyers on both sides and decide if there are grounds for the case or not.
Human rights lawyer whom Malaysian margiis engaged on the case, thinks that there are no grounds for the case and they are hoping the judge will refuse it and order Ranchi to pay damages to the defendants as well as penalty for wasting the court time.
The decision about that might not be made on 8th May but it should be made soon after. As soon as we obtain that information, it will be posted and shared on Safeguarding global group or, if you are not a member of that group, it will be sent directly to you.
In the first attachment below you can read in full the initial threat Ranchi administration sent to them in August 2025 in the form of the Letter of Demand (LOD).
You can also read the second attachment, the document now publicly available, taking them to court in November 2025 as they did not comply with the request to apologise for the defamation of Mantrajapananda and did not agree to pay damages Ranchi administration suffered by the loss of income caused by margiis boycotting DMS in Malaysia.
Over the next four days we are raising funds of 1500 pounds to help them to pay by Friday, 1st May (Ananda Purnima Day) the legal fees outlined above.
As in the first fundraising efforts we are asking you to please contribute between 30 and 100 GBP by Friday, 1st May into the bank account below.
This is a personal account, which is not ideal, but is the only possible option at the moment as setting up the charity for the support of victims/survivors of sexual abuse within spiritual organisations and whistle-blowers proved more complicated to action than previously expected . For transparency, once the funds have been transferred to Malaysian margiis, we will provide each contributor with the record of of his/her funds transfer into the account below and the record of the transfer into Malaysian sister's account who is the coordinator.
If you would like to join us and help with registration and establishment of the organisation aimed at education about abuse and enablement in spiritual organisations and financial support for whistle-blowers and victims during legal procedures, please let us know. As a global community we want to send a clear message to all victims and whistle-blowers that they will be supported financially if they decide to come forward and report the cases of abuse.
