Two narcissistic Wts + 3 more

Baba

Two narcissistic Wts

(Unworthy fellows: Citsvarupananda & Ragodbhasananda)

Namaskar,

See here what two senior stooges of Rudrananda have done. Citsvarupananda (GS) & Ragodbhasananda have engraved their own names on a plaque that was built into the outer wall of the railway station where the small water fridge is kept to eulogize themselves. They contravened Sadguru Baba’s teaching.

Please see this below image. This is a stone wall where Citsvarupananda has engraved his name for his glorification. The money was donated by a margii, and the margii’s name is not mentioned. But this narcissistic avadhuta who merely inaugurated the smal fridge and  put this plague for his eternal glory. It is there on the Pundag railway station. This way betrayed Baba’s guideline.

Senior stooges of Rudrananda Citsvarupananda is the narcissistic avadhuta who merely inaugurated the small fridge and put this plague for his eternal glory. It is there on the Pundag railway station. This way betrayed Baba’s guideline.

Only fake sadhakas glorify themselves

"Áloker path cháŕibo ná ámi, áloker path cháŕibo ná..." (Prabhat Samgiita #0337)

Purport:

I will never propagate my own personality on any occasion. I will never promote myself or invite acclaim. O' my Lord, You have taught me to propagate the glories of the Supreme. I will propagate the grandeur of Parama Purusa - not anyone else. I will never praise myself.

O’ Baba, I will never glorify my own existence. I will never praise myself in front of anyone. O’ my Lord, I will propagate the glory of Parama Purusa – not anyone else. I will never eulogize my own self...

Frittering away begotten energy from Parama Puruśa in self-glorification

Senior stooges of Rudrananda, Citsvarupananda and Ragodbhasananda are wasting their energy in glorifying their mortal existence rather than utilizing it for propagating Baba’s dharmic injunctions. Human life is an opportunity to serve Parama Puruśa by doing His work. Once the opportunity is lost one may have to wait for an indefinite amount of time to get another human life. (Courtesy of AMNB)

WT conduct rule states, "Avadhuta will always keep himself engaged in service of Gurudeva with sincerity and devotion in thought, word and deed, in subtle and crude spheres, in inner and outer expressions of life." (1)

Conclusion

Citsvarupananda and Ragodbhasananda are involved in self-glorification like a high-profile politician. An avadhuta should dedicate his life in propagation of Sadguru Baba’s teachings rather than self-glorification. Unfortunately, these two senior stooges of Rudrananda, Citsvarupananda and Ragodbhasananda contravened all the guidelines provided by Sadguru Bábá in this regard. Being avadhutas, the conduct of Citsvarupananda and Ragodbhasananda has a direct effect on the general society. Readers are requested to contact them and ask them to rectify his conduct. In Him,
Satya’

Thanks to the dharmika who took this photo and to those who publicized the photo in order to show that this type of gross activity is not appreciated in tantrika life. This type of understanding and vision only vanguards have. I appreciate their pointed understanding of Ananda Marga ideology that self-propaganda is antithetical to spiritual progress and not allowed in Ananda Marga society as it is harmful for sadhakas.

~ In-depth study ~

Concerning sadhaka is not to be given any credit

Ananda Marga ideology says, "The duty of human beings is only to continue their efforts to please Parama Purusa. Thus when any work is done, the concerning sadhaka is not to be given any credit; the credit should be given to Parama Purus'a." (2)

Ananda Marga philosophy guides us, "This arrogance, which makes them want to display themselves, forgetting all other things, is termed aham'ka'ra [vanity]. The predominant vrtti  behind it is aham [ego]: 'I am everything, there is nothing beyond and outside me'." (3)

Ananda Marga ideology states, "People of action are also not free from vanity: “I did this, I did that – I built this road when I was a minister I constructed this bridge when I was in the Public Works Department” – this is how people become mad for their little “I”. Thus we see that although action is free from lethargy, it is not altogether free from vanity." (4)

Will ultimately be pulverized into dust

Ananda Marga ideology teaches us, "So you see, preya  or ka'ma  remains busy with finite units only, and thus, the ego, who is the enjoyer of such fragmentary units, must be the small ego.  It is impossible to develop such an ego which remains always absorbed in these units.  Even people of wisdom, of high social status -- even so-called intellectual and accomplished scientists and philosophers who are always concerned with earning high respect for themselves or saving their own prestige -- even they pursue sensuous or fragmentary objects for the gratification of their egos.  Perhaps they deliberately refuse to realise that these petty objectives of their egos will infuse their minds with meanness, as a result of which all their egoistic respect, prestige and status will ultimately be pulverized into dust." (5)

Betrayed Sadguru’s guideline

In this below image you can see everything regarding its location. In the upper right corner in there is a yellow sign in Hindi that says Pundag railway station. So this small water fridge is adjacent to the railway station. If you look at the tiny water booth, there is a little, white, water fridge in the center that was contributed by a margii. See how the narcissistic fellow Citsvarupananda, the stooge of Rudrananda, who is the so-called GS of AMPS hindi faction, the engraved plaque in the lower right corner of the black wall.

This way Citsvarupananda and Ragodbhasananda betrayed Sadguru Shrii Shrii Anandamurti ji’s guideline.

External shell will be AMPS and the inner cell will be completely garbage

Baba has made AMPS for the sole purpose to propagate Ananda Marga ideology. That is why its name is Ananda Marga Pracaraka Samgha which means, the organisation that propagates Ananda Marga ideology. So when these degraded people running the show these days conduct themselves in a way against the fundamentals of Ananda Marga ideology, they are striking against their core values. This all happens because of their worthlessness.

If we keep quiet and overlook the situation, then AMPS will remain in name only. They external shell will be AMPS and the inner cell will be completely garbage. That is what happened with Lord Krsna’s & Lord Shiva’s teachings. Their names remain but everything else has been destroyed. If we are not careful, this same tragedy is going to befall AMPS. So we have to be very alert.

How a Wt should work & serve

It was very surprising and even shocking to find the glorification of those two Dadas by fixing a plaque with their names engraved on it at Pundag station. Then what is the difference between the current political leaders who gloat about their each and every deed, and AMPS whole-timers (Citsvarupananda & Ragodhabhasananda).
http://anandamarganewsbulletin.blogspot.com/

Baba's below teaching guides how an ideal Wt / sadhaka should work and serve serve.

Be silent worker |" (6)

Self-praise like cat's cry

Here is the English summary or gist of Guru's above teaching:
You did a little work and propagate; "I have done, I have done . I have done this, I have done that." People praise themselves too much saying 'I', 'I'. Oh, why would you say that much I, I.

Oh, why would you say, "Meow, meow"? If anyone does "Meow, meow, meow" it is a cat.(*)

(Laughter)

What you say? Who does "Meow, meow"? The cat. Yes.

Man does a little, (showing with the two fingers and thumb of His hand) this much, and expresses (showing by expanding both the hands to max) this much.

Don't do like this. Continue to do work with His thought in mind. No need to tell anybody about it. Parama Purusa is doing every work of this entire universe. Does He talk about it? No, He does not. Niirav karmi bano, Be a silent worker. (English summary) (7)
(*) The cat makes the sound “meow, meow”, and that sound is very similar to the Hindi word for “I” or “oneself.” So according to Hindi, it sounds like the cat just moves around all day glorifying itself - meow meow. So Baba is making a joke that human beings should not glorify themselves all day long (“I did this”, “I did that”) like the cat - meow, meow.
Watch out - you may come across some Wts whose behaviour is similar - they praise themselves and say, “I did this and I did that.” As they are our family members, we should politely tell them not to praise themselves but sing the glory of Parama Purusa - not self-glorification.

Everything You do behind the scenes so no one can see

"Tamasára par páre jyoyi vartiká niye,ácho ke go ananta kála dhare...” (Prabhat Samgiita #1818)

Purport:

O' Parama Purusa, Who are You - since eternity You have been holding the spiritual lamp, standing across the cimmerian darkness of ma’ya’.

O' Parama Purusa, that spark of light goes on floating in all the direction. By Your grace, piercing that Cimmerian darkness, the whole universe is inundated by Your flashing sparks of effulgence which are floating on and on, endlessly. O' Witnessing Entity, You are fully aware what everyone is thinking and saying, and what they are doing. You know everything about everyone. Baba, You go on witnessing this entire liila secretly unbeknown to anyone.

O' Parama Purusa, O' Effulgent supreme Entity, You are the absolute Goal; nobody is equal to Your status, glory, and greatness. You alone have the ability and power to create or withdraw all the emanations of this expressed universe - i.e. entire creation. Within a flash, You can do anything. You are the Master of creating, maintaining, and withdrawing. In Your special secret way, You make, sustain, and finally merge jiivas back into You. You bless people with life itself, and when they become very old then You grace them with a new human body, or grant them moksa. Baba, everything You do behind the scenes so no one can see. This is Your divine liila.

O' Baba, O' Ever-new Entity, I surrender at Your altar...

All the dogmas & narrowness have been wiped away

Prabhat Samgiita Intro: This song expresses the highest realm of bhakti where the bhakta internally feels that the whole universe is dancing in His sublime flow, where everything is revolving and rotating around the Supreme Nucleus, Purus'ottama, Parama Purusa.

"Vishva doláy dol diyecho, liiláy bhuvan nácee..." (Prabhat Samgiita #2777)

Purport:

O’ Parama Purusa, You are bliss personified, You have made this whole universe sway in the swinging of the swing. Everything is dancing in the flow of Your divine liila. In close and far, and in all the ways, You have inundated this whole universe with various tunes, melodies, and rhythms, and in rhythm of Your spiritual song. Baba, everything is revolving around You and dancing in Your bliss.

In this ra'saliila, by Your grace, that supreme flow has made everyone forget all the differences and distinctions between themselves and others. Now each person feels that all are their own - that all are part of this same universal family. Baba, by Your grace the boundaries have been shattered, the doors and windows are open; everyone is mine - ours; all are one. All the dogmas and narrowness have been wiped away by the cosmic swing. Now there is no time for bickering and infighting. Having forgotten, all fear, shyness, jealousy, and hatred, now there is only one collective march, moving towards You, rushing headlong towards Blissful Entity. The whole universe is dancing in unison, by Your grace.

Baba, this whole universe is nothing but the display of drama of Your grand liila. Everything is possible in this universe by Your grace. All happens according to Your wish. If You desire, the positive can become negative, and the negative can become positive. "No" can become "yes", and "yes" can become "no". The impossible becomes possible, and the possible becomes impossible. Your desire is everything. In this auspicious moment, when all are  blissful and floating in Your rasa, then there is no question of crying about the problems or requesting a solution. Rather everybody's heart is satiated in the sweet spiritual rhythm. Everyone’s mind is fully content and floating on the waves of heavenly bliss. This is the time to go on dancing in the eternal flow of ra'saliila.

Baba, Your endless liila is unparalleled, the whole universe is dancing in ecstasy, I surrender at Your lotus feet...

Notes for Prabhat Samgiita #2777:

In His diverse and colourful manner, Baba expresses His divine teachings in various ways: Spiritually through song, theoretically through philosophy, and a mix thereof using both devotion and theory. It depends on each and every sadhaka, on each and every human mind to decide which one they prefer at any given point in time.

So in His above Prabhat Samgiita, Baba is explaining His ra'sa liila in a purely devotional manner. And now in this below quote He is explaining His ra'saliila using a mix of devotional expression and theoretical philosophy. So this quote stands as another way of expressing nearly the whole of this Prabhat Samgiita.

Ananda Marga ideology says, "When devotees realise that all beings are created from a'nanda, exist in a'nanda and return to a'nanda. This realisation causes a radical change in their outlook - no longer can they differentiate between rich and poor, highborn and low-born. They observe an ocean of a'nanda flowing within and around all created beings. 'Rasa vae sah'- all are flowing in the same rasa, the same ocean of bliss. In that divine flow the devotees see Parama Purus'a dancing with each entity. In philosophy, this dance is called 'ra'saliila' [divine play in the flow of bliss]. It does not mean that someone is actually playing a flute with all the humans and cows dancing around him. Rather, it means that all the entities of this beginningless and endless universe are floating in the ocean of cosmic bliss." (1)

Baba's above guideline is a mix of devotion and philosophy and in this next quote He is explaining the overall concept of this Prabhat Samgiita in a more theoretical manner, in philosophical parlance.

Ananda Marga philosophy says, "Knowingly or unknowingly everyone is moving around Him. Everyone is bound to move, otherwise they will lose their permanent shelter, they will dissociate from their permanent nucleus. This movement is a natural propensity born out of love for Parama Purus'a. Love for the Supreme is a natural propensity. Intelligent people develop their natural propensities through their sa'dhana', their constant endeavour. The outlook of such people is called Ra'dha' bha'va." (2)

Personal way of viewing this Prabhat Samgiita

The above song is related with the life of each and every sadhaka. When sadhana is good then one realises the essence of this song. Then all hatred, fear, and shyness dissipates and people forget about their differences with others and see everything as an expression of His divine flow. On that occasion when their mind is immersed in His bliss then this feeling of ra'saliila is dominant in their mind. So this song is not something beyond the reach of common sadhakas. This song shows how one looks at the world and behaves with others when they are having better sadhana. By His grace, at some point or another, this is something we have all experienced.

Woman's MPD + Cause of shortage of money in AMPS + 2 more

Baba

Woman’s MPD

Namaskar,

Here below is the mahaprayan (death day) announcement of one ordinary woman. The concept of "mahaprayan" signifies the death of a human being; it is a common phenomenon across the Indian subcontinent.
http://anandamarganewsbulletin.blogspot.com/

Indeed, the program of mahaprayan is everywhere; it is widely observed for the death of a regular citizen. It is not something special or unique or divine. It is not something godly or lofty, and it is certainly not for Taraka Brahma.

Here in this article which is in Bengali script, the term mahaprayan has been highlighted in orange - towards the bottom of the article. This is proof that mahaprayan is used for simple, ordinary folk - like this woman. Because this is the occasion of the death day observance of this woman.

The program of mahaprayan is used to insinuate the death of a woman who has made her departure from this world. That is why such a gathering is not done for Taraka Brahma because He did not depart - He is the eternal Parama Purusa. So the mahaprayan is for ordinary humans, i.e. mortals, not for Parama Purusa Baba.

In His Divine Love,
Gopal Roy

Whisper in my ear, the tale of the divine spiritual world

"Aja'na' Pathik a'la'ka'r katha' shon'a'o ba'reke ka'che ese..." (Prabhat Samgiita #1580)

Purport:

O' Ajana Pathik [1] Parama Purusa, please, just once, come close to me and whisper in my ear, the tale of the divine spiritual world. Tell me how You have created this colourful world; how is it that nebulae and galaxies are floating in the vast cosmos; and, to which unknown world and direction are they floating.

O' Parama Purusa, please guide and tell me: Are those perceptions that I receive through my inferences -  eyes, nose, ears, touch, and tongue etc - the only truth? And is that which I do not perceive with those inferences - my eyes, nose, ears, touch, and tongue - just an that illusion? Baba, please tell which one is false and which one is true. Make me aware about the things of the past but are no more at present.

O' Parama Purusa, please also tell me, is what has been written in the so-called scriptures the only divine truth? And, are those ideas that are not in the so-called scriptures, meaningless? Baba, O' Supreme Being, come in my mind and sit on my mental lotus and present the truth to all my queries which I have kept in my mind since long. Baba, please come to me, and tell me the stories of the spiritual world - the world of bhakti...

Note for Prabhat Samgiita #1580:

[1] Ajana Pathik: The term Aja'na' Pathik means 'The Divine Entity Parama Purusa Who moves around this entire universe, and resides everywhere and knows everything; irrespective of where one goes, He remains along with you'. That is one of His many unique attributions and that is the speciality of the name 'Ajana Pathik'. The name 'Ajana Pathik' denotes this special quality.

Literally, Aja'na' means 'unknown' and Pathik means 'traveler' or ‘tourist.’ But this is just the word by word, literal translation; and proper nouns are not meant to be translated. So we cannot call Him the ‘Unknown Traveler’ or ‘Unknown Tourist', or Unknown Vacationer', or 'Unknown Backpacker', or 'Unknown Visitor', or 'Unknown Globetrotter', or 'Unknown Daytripper', or 'Unknown Hitchhiker.’ The spirit and meaning is then lost.
The inner sense of the name Ajana Pathik is that Parama Purusa is always moving throughout this vast cosmos and He is constantly present with everyone, all the time. He is in the Cosmic Nucleus yet at the same time through His ota and prota yoga He is everywhere - carefully watching & lovingly guiding everyone. This unique aspect of His grand Personality is treated as Aja'na' Pathik. Because He is constantly traveling yet present everywhere. He is in the nucleus as well as throughout this entire universe.

As the Ajana Pathik, Parama Purusa Baba moves and moves and moves. In their spiritual approach bhaktas feel that wherever they go the Aja'na' Pathik will always be there to shower His blessing. By His grace, bhaktas can always get His intimate company and companionship. With this mystical link, sadhakas understand that Parama Purusa is present everywhere, yet side by side He travels on and on throughout this entire cosmos. Thus He is Aja'na' Pathik.

Overall the name Aja'na' Pathik has one special and unique meaning that goes far beyond its literal translation. And in our hearts we A'nanda Ma'rgiis know and feel that Baba is that Aja'na' Pathik. Indeed in His discourses, in Dharma Samiiksa, and in reporting, in DMC, and in numerous ways Baba has shown this very fact that He is ever-present and always along with us. He is always moving and wherever we go then He will also be there. Parama Purusa has infinite attributions and one of them is this special quality where He always remains along with us wherever we are in this vast universe. In this way He is known as - Aja'na' Pathik. In true sense, as the omnipresent Entity, He does not go anywhere because He is everywhere; but in a more literal manner He goes from place to place.

Those who use ‘Unknown Traveler’ or ‘Unknown Tourist’ in place of Aja'na' Pathik are naive and ignorant.

Cause of shortage of money in AMPS

Namaskar,

Wt conduct rules: "Each worker will separately maintain the clear account of receipt and expenditure of his personal allowance and organizational money." (1)

Wt conduct rules: "Each amount of collection should be deposited properly and drawn after submitting requisition." (2)

#1: Dada Shankarananda's story is concocted. Baba banned Dada Shankarananda from Bihar because Dada S was harassing margiis for money. Bihar margiis in the village are very poor and Dada S used to empty their pockets, even their pennies. They did not have anything for their food or salt. And Dada Shankarananda used to put his hand in their pocket and take everything. So Baba banned him from Bihar. At that time Baba was living in Patna.
http://anandamarganewsbulletin.blogspot.com/

#2: Dada Shankarananda was born to collect money and he will take that habit to the grave. For that he concocted this story. In the future, when AMPS runs properly: (a) margiis and Wts will jointly manage the financial books, (b) there will be clean accounts and transparency, and (c) donor will be free to see the balance sheets etc. In taht case, money will pour like anything. Donations will come in from all directions.

#3: There are millions of non-margii organisations that do hundreds and thousands of times better than AMPS on social service projects. From where do they get their money. People want to give for just and right causes. There are countless people who want to give but there is no good place to give because people are cheaters. That is why in AMPS there is a crisis.

#4: The artificial crisis is because those at the top of AMPS have an infinite hunger to increase their bank balance. The main thing is fiscal transparency and accountability.

#5: Baba used to tell openly to sadhakas that no AMPS work will stop due to scarcity of money. Money will not be the problem.

in Him,
Kuber Sinha

How to keep children safe + 2 more

Baba

How to keep children safe

Namaskar,

In our Ananda Marga, it is the duty of every person to care for and protect every child / babe. Yet nowadays, some Wts are allegedly mercilessly beating our children's home kids. And in some areas, these children are allegedly facing sexual abuse as well.
http://anandamargauniversal.blogspot.com/

It is our duty to keep a vigilant eye and save those kids from any abuse or torture. We must watch for their well-being.

To this end, appended below, is one professional, proactive performa for how to communicate with children about this ever-important topic of abusive behaviour. This type of education is a key preemptive measure to safeguard our children.

First here are Baba’s teachings about our social responsibility to watch over all children, followed by the aforementioned performa / article.

Helpless children can only convey their pain and discomfort through tears

Ananda Marga philosophy states, "Society must ensure that proper care is taken of human babies who are totally dependent on the care and protection of their parents for their existence. These helpless children can only convey their pain and discomfort through tears. To raise children from infancy to maturity is an immensely important task. I have said before that the members of society must advance in unison. The newborn babe is another traveller on the path. To adopt a child as our companion, as one included in the society, is called the “Játakarma” of the child." (1)
http://anandamargauniversal.blogspot.com/

Ananda Marga philosophy states, "Those, who will be present on the occasion of the child’s Játakarma, must also indirectly have to bear the responsibility of bringing up the child. In other words it will not do to sit inactive saying that the direct responsibility in this connection is on its parents." (2)

Shall not forget his duty when he has once looked at the helpless face

Ananda Marga philosophy states, "Every person must realize the duty which he owes direct to the babe in his family, and on which depends the developments of the child in all spheres. This duty may be demanded from every person by every child of the world. Hence, thinking in favour of family babes only will not suffice. Even if it were not possible for particular persons to discharge properly the duties towards each and every child of the world owing to crude worldly reasons, they must always be conscious of their duties towards children within their acquaintance. The oath taken on the occasion of Játakarma will reawaken the sense of that duty again and again. Any grown-up person or any father shall not forget his duty when he has once looked at the helpless face of the child. It does not end here.” (3)

Serving the child, shall be a part of Sádhaná

Ananda Marga philosophy states, "In pursuance of the mantra of Játakarma in Ánanda Márga, a child has not simply been regarded as a child only but also a manifestation of Brahma in the child. So, serving the child, shall be a part of Sádhaná (Brahma-Sádhaná) to him. The credit for his services to the child will not create pride in him. The same feeling will recur in mind when the child is bathed with water consecrated with the mantra. The persons taking part in the function will think anew that the child is once again being bathed with their blessings and that they must take fatherly responsibility of the child." (4)

How Can I Protect My Child From Sexual Assault?

~ Courtesy of RAINN ~

Sexual abuse can happen to children of any race, socioeconomic group, religion or culture. There is no foolproof way to protect children from sexual abuse, but there are steps you can take to reduce this risk. If something happens to your child, remember that the perpetrator is to blame—not you and especially not the child. Below you’ll find some precautions you can take to help protect the children in your life.

If your child is in immediate danger, don’t hesitate to call the local police hotline or authorities. If you aren’t sure of the situation but you suspect the child is being harmed, you can take steps to gauge the situation and put an end to the abuse.

Be involved in the child’s life

Being actively involved in a child’s life can make warning signs of child sexual abuse more obvious and help the child feel more comfortable coming to you if something isn’t right. If you see or hear something that causes concern, you can take action to protect your child.

  • Show interest in their day-to-day lives. Ask them what they did during the day and who they did it with. Who did they sit with at lunchtime? What games did they play after school?
  • Get to know the people in your child’s life. Know who your child is spending time with, including other children and adults. Ask your child about the kids they go to school with, the parents of their friends, and other people they may encounter, such as teammates or coaches. Talk about these people openly and ask questions so that your child can feel comfortable doing the same.
  • Choose caregivers carefully. Whether it’s a babysitter, a new school, or an afterschool activity, be diligent about screening caregivers for your child.
  • Talk about the media. Incidents of sexual violence are frequently covered by the news and portrayed in television shows. Ask your child questions about this coverage to start a conversation. Questions like, “Have you ever heard of this happening before?” or “What would you do if you were in this situation?” can signal to your child that these are important issues that they can talk about with you. • Know the warning signs. Become familiar with the warning signs of child sexual abuse, and notice any changes with your child, no matter how small. Whether it’s happening to your child or a child you know, you have the potential to make a big difference in that person’s life by stepping in. (Courtesy of RAINN)

Encourage children to speak up

When someone knows that their voice will be heard and taken seriously, it gives them the courage to speak up when something isn’t right. You can start having these conversations with your children as soon as they begin using words to talk about feelings or emotions. Don’t worry if you haven't started conversations around these topics with your child—it is never too late.
  • Teach your child about boundaries. Let your child know that no one has the right to touch them or make them feel uncomfortable — this includes hugs from grandparents or even tickling from mom or dad. It is important to let your child know that their body is their own. Just as importantly, remind your child that they do not have the right to touch someone else if that person does not want to be touched.
  • Teach your child how to talk about their bodies. From an early age, teach your child the names of their body parts. [One can use discreet terminology for certain body parts and organs like “private parts”, “backside”, “front”, “top”, “bottom” etc. Of course for arm, foot, hand and mouth one may use the exact term. For teens one may use terms like “reproductive organs” and “mammary glands”]. Teaching a child these words gives them the ability to come to you when something is wrong. Learn more about talking to children about sexual assault.
  • Be available. Set time aside to spend with your child where they have your undivided attention. Let your child know that they can come to you if they have questions or if someone is talking to them in a way that makes them feel uncomfortable. If they do come to you with questions or concerns, follow through on your word and make the time to talk.
  • Let them know they won’t get in trouble. Many perpetrators use secret-keeping or threats as a way of keeping children quiet about abuse. Remind your child frequently that they will not get in trouble for talking to you, no matter what they need to say. When they do come to you, follow through on this promise and avoid punishing them for speaking up.
  • Give them the chance to raise new topics. Sometimes asking direct questions like, “Did you have fun?” and “Was it a good time?” won’t give you the answers you need. Give your child a chance to bring up their own concerns or ideas by asking open-ended questions like “Is there anything else you wanted to talk about?” (Courtesy of RAINN)

Those who don’t chew their food

Ananda Marga Yogic Treatments states, "In order to digest starches and carbohydrates, the saliva of the mouth must help at the preliminary stage. Chewing food brings an adequate quantity of saliva into the mouth. No sooner does the food mixed with saliva enter the stomach than the liver and the pancreas are enabled to start secreting their bile and digestive fluids. So unless food is chewed well, the liver can never function properly." (1)

Note: In the fast-paced life of this 21st century, people no longer give themselves proper time to attend to their basic life duties, such as eating food. Instead people just rush off from one appointment to another and "grab a bite to eat" along the way. In their hectic pace, instead of chewing their food properly they just take a bite or two and swallow it. Or they nearly inhale their meal, without chewing it at all. As Baba warns us, this way of "eating" is terribly hazardous to the health and invites many diseases.
