Note: This letter is only for those who have reverence for Sadguru Baba Shrii Shrii Anandamurti ji and try to follow His Ananda Marga ideology.

Personally, I have lived with our didis for stretches at a time and have witnessed first-hand how the rule of length of hair is loosely followed - sadly so. Many have been known to have (much) longer hair. Certain pseudo-didis, especially some showy, so-called senior didis, fail to follow Baba's teaching on this matter. So this is something that clearly needs to be addressed in our AMPS. Here is more about this key issue.

Wt didis must not have hair more than 1 inch in length
 
Ananda Marga conduct rules emphasize that our didis must keep their hair very short. Here is the exact conduct rule given by Baba about the length of hair for our wt didis:
 
WT conduct rules state: “The hair of the head should not be allowed to grow more than one inch.” (Avadhutika Rules, Point #2 of 32 Points)
 
The above is Sadguru Baba’s given system for Wt didis. He wants our Didis to keep their hair very short - not more than 1 inch in length. Certainly this guideline from Beloved Baba has a highly beneficial effect on one's overall personality, and enhances one's ability to act as a respected acarya. Indeed, all of Baba's conduct rules have been given in the spirit of welfare. This rule about didis keeping their hair no longer than an inch in length is no different. It is for their all-round progress.

Drowned in pseudo-culture & materialism
 
Unfortunately, some margii sisters are not aware of Baba’s guidelines about length of hair for Wt didis. Side by side, many Wt didis keep long hair because that is what they see on the internet, in magazines, and in the beauty salons. So simple margii sisters do not realise these so-called senior Wt didis are guided by pseudo-culture and materialistic values, not Baba's teachings.
 
Because of all this, innocent margii sisters have succumbed to the myth that a Wt didi with short hair is rogue, or rustic, or uncultured. They think that is why a didi is not keeping long hair. That is how so-called top didis have misguided the thinking of various margii sisters.
 
Here I am not saying that all margii sisters in Delhi sector think like this. At the same time, this has been brought to my attention and I have seen this with my own eyes: Some margii sisters truly believe that didis with short hair are backwards like simple village folk. That is their gross misunderstanding. All because so-called top didis moulded their minds in this way.

The chief cause of all this is due to the fact that those holding central and higher posts (like so-called sectorial, global etc) keep longer hair. That sets a poor example and gives the wrong impression to margiis. Indeed, it is a pity to contemplate how some of our elder didis have fallen in this way.


Why some didis keep long hair
 
When Baba has given the system that all Wt didis must not keep long hair and all Wt didis must not use perfume, we have to wonder why some didis use perfume and keep long hair? What is the reason then when Baba has been so explicit about this in Wt conduct rules?
 
The answer is quite clear: The only goal of such crude Wt didis is to attract the opposite sex - either male wts or male youths: Whomever they can get. Due to tamasik indulgence, they are disobeying Baba's rule. That is why we see, from time to time, such pseudo-didis leaving their Wt-ship and getting married. With such a debased mentality, it is evident that those Wt didis are disgraced. They are wearing the saffron dress yet not following Baba's Wt rules. This is the sad state of affairs.

They give the false excuse that they have to travel to other countries, as if females with short hair are not allowed to travel.


Conclusion
 
According to Wt conduct rules, female Wts must not grow their hair more than 1 inch in length. This rule is related with one’s psychic development and purity of thinking. It helps enhance the personality of female Wts. True didis follow this point very strictly and always keep their hair less than an inch in length. But, you know, in a basket of apples, some are rotten.

One should not exhibit oneself as the embodiment of an ideal if you cannot follow those rules. When they move in saffron robes people honour them being fully dedicated to all of the rules of spiritual life as given by Shrii Shrii Anandamurti ji. They smile and accept that reverence that margiis give them but inside they are black, hollow, and hypocritical. We should unmask their duplicity and hypocrisy. Then our AMPS will become clean and be a beacon for the entire society.

Didis following Baba's system are misunderstood
 
The other part of the equation is that there is one prevalent myth surrounding this issue that needs attention.
 
As noted, a growing number of quasi senior Wt didis are not following Baba's rule of keeping short hair. Rather, they are keeping long hair, 10 - 12 inches or more in length. Because of this, certain innocent margii sisters - primarily in Delhi sector - have gotten confused. Naive margii sisters see upper echelon didis with long hair and innocently assume that keeping long hair must be Baba's system. Those kind-hearted margii sisters are not aware of Baba's teaching that didi's hair should be no more than 1 inch in length. Instead, they hold implicit faith in so-called senior didis. When they see those showy, so-called senior Wt didis keeping long hair then those margii sisters assume this must be Baba's system. That is the problem nowadays.

This has led to one dogma: Some new margii sisters think that any Wt didi with very short hair is off the mark. Those margii sisters are of the opinion that a didi with short hair must have been raised in an impoverished, backwards village. When they see that a didi has short hair then those innocent margiis talk how that didi is unable to manage herself in a stylish way. Such well-intentioned margiis mistakenly criticize that sincere didi for being backwards and out of touch. When in truth, such a didi with short hair (no more than 1 inch in length) is actually adhering to Baba's conduct rule perfectly. This is the myth and confusion that is raining down nowadays.

Some so-called senior didis set bad example & confuse margiis
 
How did this happen - how is it that a few margiis have this misconception? The chief blame falls directly on the shoulders of those so-called senior didis. They are supposed to set an ideal example by their conduct. But on this point of length of hair, some of our so-called senior Wt didis have failed miserably. They have openly discarded Baba's guideline of keeping short hair; and, instead, some so-called top didis wear their hair long. By this way, innocent margii sisters have been led astray on this issue.
 
The root cause is that so-called senior Wt didis are not representing Baba's teachings: Baba's mandate is for all didis to keep short hair; yet many so-called senior didis are keeping long hair. For this reason good margii sisters have gotten confused.
 
Such margiis then do not realise that a Didi with very short hair is actually following Baba’s exact system. Rather, because those margiis have been misled by so-called senior Wt didis, those margii sisters think that having long hair is proper.

In Ananda Marga Pracaraka Samgha (AMPS), you can catch a few rotten apples by seeing their hair. If some Wt didis have long hair - more than 1 inch - then they are rotten. They are crude and their mind is lowly. They pollute the AMPS society. They are a burden and scum of the earth. They have taken a vow to uphold the ideals of Ananda Marga but they are spitting on those very ideals. That is so shameful. The central idea is that hypocrisy is very bad for human progress.

"Toma'ke ka'che peyechi e ba'r..." (Prabhat Samgiita #1076)

Purport:

My Parama Purusa, by Your causeless grace, this time I have gotten close to You - now I have You as my most intimate One. My Supreme Entity, no matter how busy You are, and regardless of how absorbed You are in the work of carrying out Your duty as Taraka Brahma, even then I will never let You go. You will remain with me all the time, each and every moment.

Baba, in this grand creation of Yours, who is without work; everyone is engrossed. No one is without toil or sitting idle. Right or wrong, everyone is fully immersed in their engagements. This is how creation advances and moves ahead. Each and every unit being is doing something. My Nearest, so on that excuse I will not let You go.

Supreme Entity, I understand Your liila of hide and seek, and how You execute Your liila. Baba, You work secretly; You help all covertly, so no one sees You. Otherwise You will be caught. So out of the fear of being seen and held, You move around slyly and stealthily, and perform all Your works in a clandestine manner.

Baba, this time I have gotten You in a deeply personal and special way. And I will go on holding You - never letting You go....

Great question of debate

Ananda Marga ideology states, “Parama Puruśa is omnipotent, but...He cannot hate anybody. Whoever comes near Him becomes one with Him. So Parama Puruśa remains a singular entity. Secondly, Parama Puruśa creates everybody in His mind; He cannot hate his own mental creation.” (1)

Ananda Marga ideology states, “You see, everybody in this universe is within Parama Puruśa. He sees everybody within His mind, and because everybody is within His mind, He cannot hate a mental figure of His.” (2)

Note: In His above teaching, Baba guides us that Parama Purusa cannot hate anything or anyone. The reason is that this entire creation is set within His own mind. All the expressions are His. And no one can hate themselves. That is the logic and reason why Parama Purusa cannot hate anyone in spite of His omnipotence.

Baba places great importance on the study of history as it enables both individuals and communities to learn from past mistakes and thereby progress. Failing that, without the study of history, people commit the same old blunders over and over again. In which case, they remain shackled by the crimes of the past and are unable to advance. So the review of history holds a unique place for the progress of any society.

As Ananda Margiis, we must know the history of Ananda Marga Pracaraka Samgha (AMPS) and how groupism infested our organisation. This below mailing is a portrayal of the devious mindset of the various group leaders. This piece was first posted in 2012 on this network, yet still this harmful, divisive mentality and group psychology is rampant in our AMPS.

Nowadays, infighting is rampant in AMPS. Knowing the history is very important. Without understanding the background, one may not fully understand the matter. This following letter is very important for having a deeper sense behind the present day happenings. If any point is unclear please communicate.
 
   Ananda Marga philosophy says, "All created beings have a natural tendency to move along a straight path. But out of cowardice, selfishness or sinful propensities, humans and other creatures may resort to a crooked path, not only in the material world, but also in the mental world. That is, cowardliness, selfishness and sinful tendencies bring about curvatures in the world of thoughts. These curvatures breed mutual suspicion. Even innocent people are taught to think wrongly."
   "Sometimes people grow suspicious of innocent people and mistreat them. Those who still have some amount of benevolent intellect feel pained and ashamed when they realize that they should not have suspected those innocent people. But those who are devoid of benevolent intellect do not feel at all ashamed of their conduct. Rather they think and also say publicly that it is better to suspect others first, and then gradually remove those suspicions later. This is the main characteristic of a sinner’s psychology." (1)
 
In the above two paragraphs Baba is indirectly talking about sinners like Sarvatmananda, Nigamananda, and Rudrananda etc.
 
Note: New margiis not aware about Sarvatmananda's sinful dealings can write this network and proof of his misdeeds will be sent to you.
 
The basic point is that individuals like Sarvatmananda, Nigamananda, and Rudrananda harassed, humiliated, abused, and exploited countless innocent people. That is what Baba is describing in the above cited paragraphs. However, the story does not end here; please read furthermore.

Sinner see innocent people as enemies
 
Ananda Marga philosophy says says, "Individuals or groups or communities guided by this sinner’s psychology, become involved in various inhuman activities out of unjustified suspicion. Ultimately there comes a time when they no longer repent. Those doctrines and philosophies which teach people to suspect their fellow citizens, which teach people to treat their fellow humans as enemies, have done enormous harm to the world in the past, and if not restrained and controlled, will do so in the future also." (2)
 
Baba's above teaching on sinner's psychology is very pointed and neatly encapsulates the ways of Sarvatmananda, Nigamananda, and Rudrananda as well as their blind followers. While in power they harassed, terrorised, beat, expelled and humiliated so many innocent people. Various margiis and wts wanted the organisation to move according to Baba's divine teachings, but those so-called leaders like Sarvatmananda, Nigamananda, and  Rudrananda etc declared such idealistic margiis and wts to be enemies. Those same shameful leaders changed Baba's teachings including books Caryacarya Part 1 and many more.
 
During the 1990's, all know and saw how the boomerang effect took its course with Sarvatmananda. If you are a new margii and do not know what I am referring to, then please write to get proof
 
Ananda Marga philosophy says, "The situation may come to such a pass that detectives may be employed against every person. Again, another set of detective personnel may be employed to watch whether each detective is functioning properly or not. Thus a vicious atmosphere of intelligence and counter-intelligence will be rampant in the society. And the dangerous consequence is this – that all human treasures having been poisoned, human existence itself will become meaningless. People will grow cynical, or will be forced to leave their country or their society to escape this venomous atmosphere." (3)
 
In the above section Baba is describing the sinner psychology so beautifully. Good, ideological margiis and wts were kicked out or forced to leave and so many other atrocities were done. To this end, the "leaders" employed both intelligence and counter-intelligence. So many saw this happen.

The boomerang effect
 
Ananda Marga philosophy says, "The matter does not end here. The wickedness, the deceit, that pollutes human society first moves along a crooked path like its masters, and finally ends up by annihilating its masters themselves. The wicked persons at the helm of affairs, who are now out to liquidate others, will one day themselves be liquidated and erased from history by their own followers. Sinful persons, by following the crooked path, contaminate the atmosphere of the universe, but ultimately that sinful conduct, in a similar crooked way, will recoil like a boomerang on the sinners themselves." (4)
 
Now let's apply this to life in our AMPS. From the outset after 1990, the top ringleader, "master", and most devious sinner was Sarvatmananda. Just as Baba employs the word "master" in His above teaching, that is quite suited to Sarvatmananda as he was the first at the top of the pyramid but then all his obedient followers like Rudrananda and Nigamananda and their followers boomeranged on Sarvatmananda. They wiped out his rulership and Sarvatmananda was left sitting all alone in one corner. That was the first stage of the boomerang approach.

In the next stage, this boomerang theory is related with another sinner: Nigamananda. Here again this boomerang effect has run its full course as all his followers have since turned on him. In due course, the next stage will unfold and this same sinner psychology will boomerang against Rudrananda. Who will do this? Rudrananda's own followers will take him down.
 
And this boomerang effect will continue - on and on - until all the sinners have been wiped out.
 
Ananda Marga philosophy says, "Those who deprive others of justice, who stifle others’ voices and try to immortalize themselves by their own loud proclamations, are themselves usually deprived of justice in the end. And their loud cries which had risen to the skies, are smothered in the underworld. Shiva the Omniscient was aware of these hard realities. So He warned the devoted and dharmic people, Pápasya kut́iilá gatih [“The ways of sin are always crooked”]. (5)
 

Conclusion
 
When righteous people control the nation or the organisation, then human values are protected. In that case, various man-made differences like caste, race, or religion, and all kinds of narrow sentiments are eliminated, step-by-step. And trust and family feeling between one human to another develops.

In contrast, when demons in human form rule then all these aforesaid negative human propensities are intentionally escalated by the demonic leaders. In that situation, every member of the society feels suspicious towards other members. And the atmosphere becomes suffocating. In that situation, it is very detrimental for human progress.
 
Unfortunately, that is very much the case these days in AMPS where one Wt is suspicious towards another Wt. This happens as a result of immoral leadership. This situation will not last long because according to the law of nature, with a boomerang the demons will be destroyed.

Yes, it is true, leaflets were put beneath the baggage of all dadas at night in Jamalpur jagrti hall . As soon as we came back to jagrti at night after programme someone shouted about discovering a leaflet, then soon Liilabodhananda rushed into the hall and snatched the leaflet from his and and shouted 'search every bed and collect every leaflet and give me soon without delay', Within 5 minutes he took away the leaflets with the help of a sycophant dada of him.

This Liilabodhananda was very vocal against dada Nigamananda. When the doctors told in New Delhi " the patient Nigamananda may survive, but cant be active as a normal person, he may lead a crippled life, his life is in danger, cant remain alive longer, any time he may colapse."......then soon after many dadas of Rudranada became more harsh, rude and started mudslinging against dada Nigam. These vocal opponents of dada Nigam are all Rurananda men......Liilabodhananda, Priyatoshananda, Madhuvratananda, Harishananda, Shvarupananda, Navatitananda, Chitshvarupananda etc...... .

These fellows realized that after Dada Nigam's demise only Rudrananda can give an umbrella-shelter to them and they can lead unhindered, unchecked, free life in Ananda Marga. To become Purodha Rudrananda's blessing is must sought. One year deserter along with a woman, Jaipur scandal creator is now a new Prudha, he is Navatitananda.

Dada Nigam was vigilant about some secret business of Liilabodhananda, Madhuvratananda, Harishananda and checked them.....

Because of such attempt of Dada, these fellows became arch enemy of Dada Nigam. Some of these fellows wanted to become Purodha and had fear psychosis over Dada Nigham, so they wished Dada Nigam's every ill and prayed for his early death.

These people very strategically distributed leaflets defaming dada Nigam last year. Madhuvratananda was the ring leader and Harishananda was his assistant.

Both are running a smuggling syndiacate in the name of 'legal help' and making huge personal money. They both are running a good share market business in New Delhi.

Dada Nigam once asked them about such share market business, money invested in Life Insurance Policy and sought proper accounts of their bank transaction etc. Thus this duo became strong opponents and leaned towards Rudrananda. More over caste feeling( Brahminism ) is very rapidly spreading In Marga. More or less 'racial' attitude is florishing within Marga....for example...YOU ARE MARATHI, YOU ARE BANGALI, YOU ARE MADRASI...

We find ourselves in a situation 'from frying pan to fire'. We came to Marga to lead a pious, nice, hermit life. But nothing such of environment is here to become hermit, sanyasi. Where should we go?

Madhuvratananda, Harishananda and their whole group is enjoying life like kings, it was visible in Jamalpur, they never cared our comfort, food etc.They have every immunity granted by Rudrananda. Very surprisingly we found Madhuvratananda doing feet massage of Rakeshananda (PA) in Ananda Nagar.

This is a glaring example of easy method to go upward in administrative parlor in Ananda Marga.
