(a) newspapers are used as diapers when little kids urinates in their pants;
(b) journals are used by poor and vagrant people who stuff it inside their underwear to soak up the dripping urine / incontinence;
(c) newspapers are tossed by the side of the road where street dogs and wild pigs urinate on them;
(d) newsletter are used as toilets where people defecate into them and toss it into the open sewage line along the side of the road in the slums
So the above are some of the very real and common ways newspapers are used in cities and towns in India and so-called poor countries and destitute regions around the globe, especially in impoverished neighborhoods and slums. Please keep this graphic vision in mind as you read this letter.

Now look how one Dada has yet again published Guru’s photo in the newspaper whereby it will invariably become soiled in some grotesque manner. Please see below how he placed Sadguru Baba’s photo right next to this pseudo-culture image of this lady who is drowned in sensual propaganda of shaving her underams etc. Nowadays in this male-dominated era, the media perpetually uses female sensuality to garner attention, gain followers, and boost sales. It is completely degrading and awful. And in this degenerative setting, the sinner Divyacetanananda has inserted Sadguru Baba’s holy image. There is no greater insult. This is the work of a traitor to Guru. Divyacetanananda is completely foolish and thick-headed on this point. Always he is warned about his sinful ways and then again he jumps into that same sin of the worst magnitude. Divyacetanananda has no shame and no sense. Look how he placed Guru’s image in this debased and public showing of this newspaper. To maintain and preserve the sanctity and reverence of Guru’s photo we do not publish Baba’s image on the internet so we have simply used red letters - “Baba’s image here” - to indicate where the sinner Divyacetanandanda committed this outrageous blunder.

Baba is the Taraka Brahma and the essence of dharma, and look what filth Divyacetanananda has done. And this is not the first time. Divyacetanananda commits this unholy act over and over again. It seems Divyacetanananda is bent on digging his own private tunnel to hell to get there as soon as possible. What else can account for his sinful way of dealing. And Dada D lacks the requisite intellect and bhakti to get out of this mud puddle.

Therefore wrongdoers of the organisation should be opposed more strongly. (English summary of Hindi teaching)
In His above guideline Baba explains that bad elements in society are dangerous, but bad elements inside your house - inside your organisation - are more dangerous. Do not tolerate them, benevolently oppose them. So they can rectify their ways and become an asset to our Ananda Marga society.

The dharmashastra of our Ananda Marga ideology clearly states that the sanctity of Marga Guru’s photo must be maintained in a pristine and pure way that gives the utmost respect.
Ananda Marga ideology guides us that you shall maintain in all regards and all costs the reverence and purity of the image / photo of Marga Gurudeva.
That means the sanctity of your Sadguru’s photo must be safeguarded always. On this matter, there is no scope for compromise. Your Guru’s photo is to be protected in all conditions and circumstances – without fail. On this matter, every disciple of Lord Shrii Shrii Anandamurti ji has taken the oath to be very strict. And if any sadhaka disobeys this point they will sever their relation with Guru and ruin their spiritual life.
Unfortunately, some are going against this dharmic tantric code and harming themselves. What is it that they are doing? They are printing / publishing Guru’s photo in the newspaper. And this radically contravenes our the tantric code of sanctity of Marga Guru’s photo. Because newspapers are thrown by the side of the road where street dogs and wild pigs urinate on them.

Such is the grotesque fate of a typical newspaper, especially in India and similar regions etc. It is nauseating and unbearing to even think what it would be like to have Sadguru Baba’s photo soiled in this way. That is why it is sinful, adharmic, and against the codes of tantra to publish Guru’s photo in the newspaper. In that case, the sanctity of Guru’s photo will be ruined.

This entire matter concerns the sanctity of Ista and is fundamental to safeguarding the sanctity of Guru’s photo. On this point there has to be cent-per-cent strictness. No Baba photo should ever appear in the newspaper or similar type of publication etc. As Ananda Margiis, it is our duty to abide by Sadguru Baba’s wish. We must adhere to His word, and follow the fundamentals of Ananda Marga ideology.

Wt Conduct Rule states: “Avadhuta shall always keep himself engaged in the service of Gurudeva with sincerity and devotion, in thought, words and deed, in subtle and in crude spheres, in inner and outer expressions of life.” (2)
Wt Conduct Rule states: “We are all children of the same Father. We are all member of the same family. By fighting against all kinds of evil forces, we will establish the glory of our Father and the glory of our family.” (3)

Unfortunately, due to his cowardly nature, thus far Dadaji has been unwilling to admit his mistake of giving Baba’s photo for publication in the newspaper. For this he should come forward, apologize, and ask for punishment.
Flawed approach
As Baba would never entertain newspaper reporters nor sit with them for an interview, it is quite obvious that He does not approve giving them His photo. This was never done.
All this nonsense happened when certain Dadas got the bogus idea that putting Baba in the newspaper will be enough to establish His mission. When in fact the real work is refining one's own conduct and following Baba's tenet that the path of Ananda Marga is a man-making mission. We have to build up proper sadhakas and lead a disciplined life - not give way to the false, shortcut theory that putting Baba's photo in the newspaper will help establish the mission.

Parama Purusa, Baba You did not come close to me in the dawn of my life; but, I do not agonize over why You did not bring me under Your shelter and am not pained by why You did not draw me near and become very intimate. I do not have any mental anguish about this. But I do have repentance in my heart for why I did not search for You. My life passed in vain. That is why my heart is burning and crying all the time. The fault is mine: In my early years I did not try to find You. That is the cause of my deep remorse.
Parama Purusa, My Supreme One, that time You were so close to me - living side by side, always. Even then I did not call You or try to attain You by learning sadhana. I did not care about that. Just my days and nights passed in useless pursuits in the early moments of my life. Now in my twilight years, the more those early remembrances sprout in mind, the more pain I feel.
Parama Purusa, Baba, everyone comes onto this earth for a short span of time, for a calculated period. And there are so many works to do. Yet fruitlessly people waste their time blaming God for their misfortunes - but there is no benefit in this. Because everyone is facing their own samskara. When they remove the umbrella of vanity, they will realise that Your grace is showering eternally.
Parama Purusa Baba, You are ever gracious; what You do is best for me. My only desire is to always remain under Your shelter...

Parama Purusa, My Supreme One, that time You were so close to me - living side by side, always. Even then I did not call You or try to attain You by learning sadhana. I did not care about that. Just my days and nights passed in useless pursuits in the early moments of my life. Now in my twilight years, the more those early remembrances sprout in mind, the more pain I feel.
Parama Purusa, Baba, everyone comes onto this earth for a short span of time, for a calculated period. And there are so many works to do. Yet fruitlessly people waste their time blaming God for their misfortunes - but there is no benefit in this. Because everyone is facing their own samskara. When they remove the umbrella of vanity, they will realise that Your grace is showering eternally.
Parama Purusa Baba, You are ever gracious; what You do is best for me. My only desire is to always remain under Your shelter...
