Ac Sujit ji Plagiarised

Namaskár,
Táraka Brahma Bábá with His advent spiritually vibrated the entire humanity via His Divine teachings. His teachings are expressed in the form of numerous discourses and Prabhát Samgiitas. As the disciples of Lord Shri Shri Ánandmurtiji we are to follow these teachings in our own lives as well as do a pracár of these teachings to help the humanity.

In the process of doing pracár many márgiis write articles based on Bábá’s teachings. This is very good and very much required. In these articles, however, one needs to cite Bábá, particularly when one uses a quote or a passage directly from Bábá’s discourses. This is required for two important reasons, (#1) to avoid the pitfall of plagiarism and to follow the rule of the literary / academic world, and (#2) to make it clear which sentences are written by the writer and which ones are directly Bábá’s words.

The first aforementioned point is quite obvious and needs no further explanation. Regarding the second point, it must be said that in case of any ideological deviations found in the article written by the márgii writer, the review will be easy and a systematic procedure can be followed to detect the errors. With a lack of such citations, it will be impossible to segregate wheat from the chaff. Moreover, such indiscriminate copying can lead to corruption and distortion of Ánanda Márga teachings in a longer run.


How Ac Sujitji stole from Guru’s original discourse

Ac Sujit ji wrote an article entitled "Beyond the Vail of Mind" which appears in Prajiná Bháratii #253 (January 2016 issue) on pages 4 - 7. Unfortunately, in his article (Prajiná Bháratii #253, page 6, left column, para #2), Ac Sujit ji copied one entire paragraph from Bábá’s discourse.

To make this parargaph, Ac Sujit ji copied the below yellow highlighted sections of the following passages from Bábá’s original discourse “Mind, Práńendriya and Vrtti”.

Sadgru Baba says, “Mind is a state in the process of Brahma Cakra. It, being the result of changing positions, is essentially a stage in the process of motion, and implies a momentum which it has to express. To find expression the mind adopts certain inter- and intra-ectoplasmic occupations. These occupations (love, hatred, fear, etc.) are known as vrtti. In other words, vrtti may be defined as ‘the way of expression of mind’. On the psychic level this occupation is called ‘expressed sentiment’.” (1)

Sadguru Baba says, “These subsidiary glands are the sub-stations of organs whose main controlling station, as already discussed, is located in the brain. For the evolution of saḿkalpátmaka and vikalpátmaka mind (the mind is said to be saḿkalpátmaka when its internal occupations lead towards the Great, and vikalpátmaka when they lead towards the mundane or crude) and for the creation of external waves, the help of the organs has to be taken. This help is also essential for crude manifestation in the physical stratum and other multifarious activities. The subtle brain does not work directly. It requires cruder sub-stations under its control.” (1)

Sadly, Ac Sujit ji lifted these yellow sections from Baba’s original discourse - “Mind, Práńendriya and Vrtti” - and claimed them as his own by presenting them as a paragraph (Prajiná Bháratii #253, page 6, left column, para #2) of his article.

The main problem here is not that Ac Sujit ji used Bábá’s words in his article but the fact that he did not cite Bábá. The ideal way of writing in this case would have been that Bábá’s passages were put under quotation marks and the discourse name be cited in a reference section. The presentation done by Prajiná Bháratii is a clear case of plagiarism. This shows the poor editorship and a lack of an eye for detail in Prajiná Bháratii’s editorial team. Being entrusted with the important task of pracár, Prajiná Bháratii’s editorial team is expected to be much more active and careful.


Conclusion

Pracár of Bábá’s teachings must be done and articles written for doing so is a need of the hour. However, proper protocol for writing and proper citation must be followed to make the whole process of pracár streamlined and authentic. Ac Sujit ji’s article published in Prajiná Bháratii #253 (January 2016 issue) consists of several passages directly copied from the Guru’s discourse without proper citations and quotation marks. This is a case of plagiarism and should have been detected and fixed at the editorial level in Prajiná Bháratii. The lack of such care raises serious questions on the competence of Prajiná Bháratii editorial team for the task of pracár. Such callousness may lead to corruption and distortion in the Ánanda Márga teachings and must be addressed to vigorously by Prajiná Bháratii team.

Such Prajiná Bháratii Editors are notorious

The below listed Prajiná Bháratii in-charges are responsible - they must have encouraged Ac Sujit ji to plagiarise Guru’s discourse. Verily the Prajiná Bháratii editors are notorious and infamous for this as they themselves have been caught red-handed in the past. So these the editors themselves have committed plagiarism. On one such occasion they stole directly from Guru’s book “Ananda Marga Elementary Philosophy.”

Only cowards can steal from Baba and not give credit and just stick their own name in the by-line. And now they taught that same trick to Ac Sujit ji. Because actually Ac Sujit Kumar ji is himself an academic (retired professor) so he knows not to steal material directly from published books. So these editors must have goaded and encouraged him to do so. Such editors are worthless and shameless people.

Most are aware that Dada Sarvatmananda created the Fake BP Manual in order to exploit margiis. To this end, Dada Sarvatmananda gave the order to Dada Sambhutyananda to compile and publish the Fake BP manual (1997).

And now one margii is promoting that very Fake BP Manual on his Facebook page, unfortunately. Everybody knows this Fake Manual is the tool to make margiis subservient to a few exploiters who are controlling the various H and B factions of Ananda Marga.

Who does not know that Dada Rudrananda later adopted this Fake BP Manual and implemented it in his H group faction.

So it is sad how this confused margii Kewal Sinha falsely propagates the Fake Sarvatmananda BP Manual as being real the Bhukti Pradhan manual. Indeed, it is almost pitiful that this margii has no idea what he is telling.

Not only that, see the underlined words in red that represent some of the innumerable unideological points that are rampant throughout the Fake BP Manual.

Here is the story of how NY sector was destroyed by Dada Rudrananda. Dada Rudrananda allegedly ordered the sale of so many properties and eradicated all Baba’s rules and regulations regarding the organisational structure - as Rudrananda gave significant posts to ex-Wts in NY sector etc. So here the real demon is Rudrananda. That is what is demonstrated in this letter. Dada Rudrananda executed all by his sycophant Vimalananda.

All know that Baba is very strict that those degraded workers who left their acaryaship would never get any post in the organisation (AMPS) from the village level up to the post of purodha pramukha.


How one ex-Wt become president

At present there is an ex-Wt didi in Guatemala who goes by the name of Anuvrata. And this is the story of how this sister Anuvrata (i.e. ex-Wt)  was made the President of Ananda Marga Guatemala. Because as we know, ex-Wts cannot hold any post or position of authority. Yet, somehow this sister became the top Ananda Marga postholder in the whole country. And here is how it happened.


“Pay to play” in Ananda Marga

After sister Anuvrata left her Wt-ship she married Vikash of USA. And brother Vikash allegedly gave Vimalananda $7000 USD (seven thousands dollars). And for various perks, Dada Rudrananda has given Dada Vimalananda the green light to do, give, or trade anything.

So when the presidency of Ananda Marga Guatemala opened up then Dada Rudrananda ordered Vimalananda to do the needful. Up until that time, brother Yuktatman had faithfully served in that post of President of Ananda Marga Guatemala. But when it became clear that he could no longer continue due to personal / health reasons, then the stooge Dada Vimalananda seized upon the opportunity and unilaterally anointed brother Vikash’s wife, i.e. Anuvrata, the ex Wt didi, as President of Ananda Marga Guatemala in Feb 2015.

This was 100% the decision of Rudrananda as this issue was never discussed in RDS nor in the SEC meetings. As the stooge of Dada Rudrananda, Dada Vimalananda acted unilaterally and made ex-Wt Didi Anuvrata (now wife of Brother Vikash) president of Ananda Marga Guatemala without any review or resolution from any committee etc. In essence, you can say the Ananda Marga presidency of Guatemala was sold - with all the benefits allegedly going to Centre, i.e. Dada Rudrananda.


A long and checkered history:
the selling of AM properties in NY sector

Still the story does not end there. Because, under the guidance and protection of Rudrananda, Dada Vimalananda has a long and checkered history of selling Ananda Marga lands and properties which he brokered for Rudrananda. Numerous buildings and plots in Mexico and the NY office - as well as other places - were sold with Dada Rudrananda being benefited in so many ways. And for some while, the only Ananda Marga master unit in Guatemala has also been up for sale. So that also figures into this whole equation.

Such is the type of mess that Dada Rudrananda has created as he pulls his stooge Vimalananda out of the sector and inserts his new SS of NY sector Dada Abhiramananda. Vimalananda served his master Rudrananda well while in NY sector, so he (Rudrananda) has rewarded Vimalananda with a global posting (SGPU) for his blind obedience and for carrying out Dada Rudrananda's order for the sale of prime real estate in NY sector. 

All know that Baba is very strict that those degraded workers who left their acaryaship would never get any post in the organisation (AMPS) from the village level up to the post of purodha pramukha.

Up till recently, Dada Vimalananda was SSNY, and throughout his tenure he had a dark history of wrongly giving posts to ex-Wts and selling Ananda Marga properties. After years of arranging all the perks from NY land dealing for Dada Rudrananda in Centre, Dada Rudrananda has rewarded Vimalananda with a global post - SGPU (Secretary General of Proutist Universal). And indeed, it has been Dada Rudrananda all along who has been controlling all the shots and guiding his obedient servant, Vimalananda. The lingering effects are rampant across NY sector, and verily wrongly giving posts to ex-Wts and selling Ananda Marga properties are related with the current scene in Guatemala (NY sector).

This letter deals with a very important point related with the deplorable comment of a Wt about terrorists.

First here read this important teaching from the Propounder of Prout.

Prout philosophy states, “Shúdras can never be the actual revolutionaries because they lack sufficient moral stamina, responsibility and fighting spirit. They are vulnerable to many vices and are not well-established in human values, hence they cannot develop the requisite revolutionary character. The vikśubdha shúdras develop into genuine revolutionaries because they acquire the moral courage and discipline to oppose exploitation.” (1)

Comment: Please pay attention to the above yellow section. According to the above quote from Prout philosophy, to bring revolution vikśubdha shúdras are the main asset. They will bring revolution because they have sufficient moral stamina, responsibility, and fighting spirit, and they are not vulnerable to many vices and they are well established in human values.

Now we examine this next teaching from the Propounder of Prout.

Prout philosophy states, “It is therefore the duty of those who want to create a world free of exploitation to help to increase the number of vikśubdha shúdras. It will be harmful for the revolution if these people die or are transformed into shúdra-minded shúdras. All the sadvipras in the world should be vigilant to make sure that the number of vikśubdha shúdras does not decrease due to unemployment, birth control, or other bad practices or policies.” (2)

Prout philosophy states, “As a result of vaeshya exploitation, those having kśatriya or vipra mentalities are transformed into the disgruntled slaves of the vaeshyas. They have no alternative but to toil at the behest of the vaeshyas to fill their bellies. Those kśatriyas and vipras who are turned into shúdras under circumstantial pressure carry a simmering discontent in their hearts. This group are known as the “vikśubdha shúdras” or the “disgruntled workers”. These disgruntled workers – the exploited vipras and kśatriyas – give systematic expression to the frustrations of the masses to end vaeshya exploitation. This is the class with revolutionary distinction.” (3)


Are terrorists vikśubdha shúdras

Comment: Please pay attention in particular to the above yellow sections. Because vikśubdha shúdras are of extraordinary character, they will bring Proutist revolution in the very near future. According to the above quote, it is the duty of sadvipras to protect and increase the number of vikśubdha shúdra so revolution can be hastened.

It is obvious thieves, criminals, communal people, and those who are destroying humanity in the name of religious crusades do not have the aforesaid values. Rather they are demons in human form. They cannot bring about a revolution in line with Proutistic principles.

Hence if someone proclaims that those terrorists who committed the Mumbai terrorist attack (2008), the recent Paris massacre (Nov 2015), and various other deadly assaults on innocent citizens on a daily basis throughout the globe - are vikśubdha shúdras, then how would you feel about their understanding of Prout and their hypothesis. Do not be surprised but one Wt is proclaiming this very thing.

In other words, one Wt has commented that terrorist jihadis are all vikśubdha shúdras. Fundamentally, that Wt is telling is that those who committed the Mumbai terrorist attacks, the recent Paris massacre, as well as other deadly assaults on innocent people around the globe are vikśubdha shúdras. That Wt is insinuating that such terrorists will bring Proutist revolution and establish sadvipra samaj.

Prout philosophy is vast so if one does not know then one should not give a false answer. And if one cannot guide then at least not misguide. Here in this case that WT committed both of these grave errors: giving false answers, and misguiding readers who do not know about Prout.

By reading the claim of that Wt, so many new margiis will be horrified and terrified about the prospect of Proutistic revolution. This all happens when an unqualified person starts spreading their garbage in the name of Ananda Marga, Prout, or neo-humanism. If that Wt tells that this is their own belief then it is fine. But when they make such absurd and reckless claims using Proutistic terminology - like vikśubdha shúdras - their talk becomes poisonous.


When ignorant starts writing then

 Ananda Marga ideology says, "Without proper interpretation, the shástras remain difficult to understand and sometimes unintelligible. Thus the scriptures should always be interpreted by qualified scholars, competent philosophers, and penetrating thinkers. If one tries to interpret a profound scripture with superficial knowledge, the interpreter appears ridiculous and the audience is confused."
   "There are some people who are neither scholars, nor philosophers, nor penetrating thinkers, but merely wander about interpreting scriptures…... they do more harm than good to the society. " (4)

Sadguru Baba says, “If one is not able to give the people proper guidance, then at least one should not misguide them. One must not divert them from the proper path by exploiting the tender and delicate sentiments of the human mind.” (5)

Wt conduct rule states, “One should not give any false answers but one should consult with one’s senior for the correct answers.” (6)

Just recently on 20 Nov 2015, a mere week after the world witnessed in horror the gruesome jihadi terrorist attacks in Paris on 13 Nov 2015, one Wt Didi made the following assessment that jihadist terrorists are like vikśubdha shúdras.

Didi ji wrote: “Namaskar - This is an interesting article, which demonstrates that actual studies of the psychological profiles of jihadist terrorists is quite different than what one might image or expect.  They tend to be well educated, well-integrated into society, middle class….ironically they do not tend to be very religious or religiously motivated…rather they seem to be more of a viksubdha shudra phenomenon if the research in this article is accurate.” <end of Wt Didi’s comment>

Comment: Whatever people say it is so obvious these jihadis are not normal human beings they are demons - what to say about  vikśubdha shúdras. It does not matter what any article says or not. Recently, they committed genocide of the Yazidis populations. Those who did not want to be forcibly converted were killed.

Raganugananda's preposterous self-propaganda

All know our avadhutas should not glorify themselves - nor be busy thinking about their own greatness. An verily, true avadhutas know that in this world nothing is permanent. Only Parama Purusa is permanent - so only His glory should be sung.

By seeing the dead body in the cemetery, sinners also realise that this world is a temporary abode. This below Dada also knows because he was born into this world with two eyes. But sadly in a tragic attack, one of his eyes got destroyed. It can happen to anyone. So Dadaji knows first-hand that this world is ephemeral. So no avadhuta should try to glorify themselves, because in this world - besides Parama Purusa - nothing will remain forever. And Dadaji knows this, but unfortunately he forgot this fact and indulged in self-glorification. This is due to his degenerated state of mind. 

On this point our Guru Shrii Shrii Anandamurtiji’s divine guideline is as follows. He condemns such self-glorification.

Ananda Marga ideology states, "“Kiirttaniiyah sadáharih”. Kiirtana should be done on Hari and on no other entity. One should not praise oneself or any other person. There are many people who are very fond of praising themselves by telling everyone what wonderful things they have done, but, as mentioned in this sloka, kiirtana is not for one's own self but for Hari. Even though people are taught to do kiirtana for Hari, they still make the mistake of praising themselves too much. Sometimes their self-praise is so intense that others are obliged to say, “Please stop praising yourself so much.” They forget that their self-applause is rather boring for others. Human beings should realize that no one likes to hear the self-praise of others." (1)

Senior margiis did not appreciate Dadaji's flair and glorification

Long before his planned arrival at Kota as seminar trainer, Dada arranged to have his paid agents on-site ahead of time to welcome and honour him with many garlands. Dadaji thought this would be a grand way to glorify himself. Seeing the scene, senior margiis did not appreciate Dadaji's flair and glorification. They told that they used to welcome Sadguru Baba with many garlands, but never dadas. But the trainer Dada Raganugananda got hold of this above photograph and had it circulated on various forums etc to show his stature and glory.

If he had been a normal sadhaka or standard avadhuta, he would not have done all this. Rather, if someone naively came forward to shoot such photos of him etc, then Dadaji would have sternly rebuked them and guided them that all glory and praise should be directed towards Parama Purusa. But instead he did the polar opposite. He plotted and planned for his own glorification by using his paid agents. That is why we can say that Dadaji is a coloured jackal. This situation is beautifully described in the following stanza given by Guru:


This Dada is a coloured jackal

Mana ná ráuṋgáile ráuṋgáile yogi kápaŕá.

[Saffron and red do not a yogi make
With mind undyed he remains a fake.]

“Dye your mind with His colour. Those who have not done so cannot attain Him, for this very coloration is Prema or Divine Love. The differences in colour are signs of distinction; without these differences there is identity. No external sign of Sádhutá or virtue is necessary. Became sádhu within. Behind the external show of virtuousness of many so-called sádhus exists a pharisaic state of mind. Preserve the true dignity of the word, Sádhu.”

Múŕha múŕháye jat́á váŕháye masta phire jaesá bhaesá
Khalrii upar khák lágáye
Mana jaeśá to taesá.

[With shaven head or matted locks
And ashen body a Sádhu walks
With the swaggering gait of a well-fed buffalo.
And crude mind filled with thoughts mean and low.] (2)


Ultimately ended up projecting themselves instead of the ideology

Dada Raganugananda knows that an avadhuta should not glorify oneself but rather glorify the Supreme. And as Guru explains below, those who glorify themselves are lowly.

Sadguru Baba says, "A study of history will make it clear that a strong and healthy society has not yet evolved on this planet. This is mainly due to the inadequate propagation of an ideology. Although at different times a few people thought of establishing a strong and healthy society, they used argument and debate instead of deliberation and reason to convince others of the need for such a society, and ultimately ended up projecting themselves instead of the ideology." ( PNS-5, The Responsibility of Society)

It is most unfortunate that Dada Raganugananda has fallen in this way.  Raganuganandas glorified image in the above photo provides a look into his poor conduct in all realms of life - as he has utterly forgotten his conduct rules. So it is sad and tragic to see this happen with one of our avadhutas.

Here again, we should all reflect on this next teaching and forward it to Dadaji as well so he may be benefited and rectify himself etc.

"Avadhuta will always keep himself engaged in service of Gurudeva with sincerity and devotion in thought, word and deed, in subtle and crude spheres, in inner and outer expressions of life." (3)

Rudrananda and his cronies status is on the wane

This is not an isolated case, unfortunately. Nowadays, the stature of Dada Rudrananda and his cronies is on the wane. So to boost themselves, such Dadas in his camp and in his inner circle, apply such techniques. They pay stooges and agents to receive them with big pomp and show. By this way they think that they can regain their position of unquestioned authority. But the reality is that that hour has passed. Now Ananda Margiis the world over understand who is who, and what is what.

“A’loker path cha’r’ibo na’…A’mi nijere praca’r koribo na’…” (Prabhat Samgiita #337)

Purport: Baba, by Your grace I will not leave the path of Ananda Marga ideology, the path of effulgence. I will never leave the path which You showed me. By Your grace, I will mold myself according to Your desire. With Your guidance, I will make my mind straight, focusing on You & propagating Your glory. I will never glorify my own existence. I will never propagate about me I will never praise myself in front of anyone. I will never propagate myself. O’ my Lord, You have taught me to propagate Your glory. I will propagate the glory of Parama Purusa – not anyone else. So I will never propagate my own self...

Baba says, "The duty of human beings is only to continue their efforts to please Parama Purusa. Thus when any work is done, the concerning sadhaka is not to be given any credit; the credit should be given to Parama Purus'a." (4)

Baba says, "This arrogance, which makes them want to display themselves, forgetting all other things, is termed aham'ka'ra [vanity]. The predominant vrtti  behind it is aham [ego]: 'I am everything, there is nothing beyond and outside me'." (5)

Baba says, "So you see, preya  or ka'ma  remains busy with finite units only, and thus, the ego, who is the enjoyer of such fragmentary units, must be the small ego.  It is impossible to develop such an ego which remains always absorbed in these units.  Even people of wisdom, of high social status -- even so-called intellectual and accomplished scientists and philosophers who are always concerned with earning high respect for themselves or saving their own prestige -- even they pursue sensuous or fragmentary objects for the gratification of their egos.  Perhaps they deliberately refuse to realise that these petty objectives of their egos will infuse their minds with meanness, as a result of which all their egoistic respect, prestige and status will ultimately be pulverized into dust." So the below photo from pages 20-21 of Bhakta Samaj (Feb 2016) as well as the photo presented in part I, is steeped in three types of sin:

1. Going against the code of the protection and dignity of women and instead engaging in female exploitation by supporting pseudo-culture.
2. Misrepresentation of yoga.
3. Going against Caryacarya and our conduct rules.

As Ananda Margiis, our job is to smash this misconception and preach and personify the high ideals of tantra where yoga aims at the unification with the Supreme. Unfortunately, on this point the Bhakta Samaj magazine has fallen far, far short of the mark.

Must be vanguards against pseudo-culture

As Ananda Margiis - as neo-humanists - Baba guides us that we are to be the vanguards against the onslaught of pseudo-culture. But instead of leading on this front, the Bhakta Samaj editors has been veritably swallowed up by pseudo-culture.

(a) The Bhakta Samaj editors feed into the false notion that yoga is just for females so that they can become thin and alluring to attract others;
(b) The Bhakta Samaj editors feed into the false notion that yoga is merely some type of physical exercise;
(c) The Bhakta Samaj editors feed into the false notion that females are to be judged by their bodies;
(d) The Bhakta Samaj editors feed into the false notion that females should be half-naked and displayed to "pitch" and sell their magazine.
(e) And there are numerous other ways how the Bhakta Samaj editors fall into the mud puddle of pseudo-culture.

The question then becomes: Why did this those Bhakta Samaj editors do like this? The answer is money. To boost sales, those Bhakta Samaj editors are willing to go against their oaths and vows and undermine Ananda Marga ideology.

Such is the sad state of affairs.


Female exploitation

Here Baba warns us about the dangers of pseudo-culture and how our duty is to rise up and fight against all forms of pseudo-culture, including points related with the dignity of women.

Ananda Marga philosophy states, "This exploitation in the cultural sphere is accomplished by the propagation of pseudo-culture. Every honest, virtuous, rational person must fight against this pseudo-culture, and inspire others to do the same. If this is not done, the future of humanity will be sealed. It is proper for human beings to struggle for political freedom, for social emancipation; but if their cultural backbone is broken, then all their struggles will end in nothing – like offering ghee into a fire that has died out." (1)


Summary

Tragically, the Bhakta Samaj chief editor took a fall on multiple levels by presenting his magazine in this manner: propagating pseudo-culture, misrepresenting yoga, and going against various codes and rules.

In so doing, they wholly misrepresent the aims and teachings of Guru and Ananda Marga, while the common people are misled. This situation is bad from beginning to end.

In getting caught up in the winds of the fake yoga syndrome, the Bhakta Samaj editors blatantly contradict so many of conduct rules and vows:

- “Do not cut the hair of the joints of the body.” (2)

Contradiction: Instead of adhering to Guru’s above guideline, those Bhakta Samaj editors picked up half-naked photos from the web that portray women according to western, pseudo-culture values where women’s underarm hair is shaved off to make them more alluring to men.

- “It should be remembered that a woman’s friend is a woman and a man’s friend is a man.” (3)

Contradiction: In our Ananda Marga, there is not free mixing of the sexes and males and females certainly do not perform yoga asanas together. Yet in the above photo, there is a male doing fake asanas with half-naked women.

- "Avadhuta shall treat every woman of the world, including his ex-wife, as mother." (4)

Contradiction: Instead of treating females as mother Bhakta Samaj chief editor Dada Santoshananda is denigrating them as sex objects etc.

- "While going out of their house, women should wear simple and decent clothes and cover their bodies properly." (5)

Contradiction: Instead of covering up their bodies, the women displayed in the above photo are revealing maximum degree of skin (i.e. half-naked) for all to see.

As we know, our Ananda Marga magazines are for the propagation of AM ideals, not pseudo-culture values.

Yet look here at these photos from page 20 of Bhakta Samaj (Feb 2016). Such photo utterly contravene countless aspects of our Ananda Marga Way of Life, yet certain magazine editors have selected these images to grace the pages of our Ananda Marga magazine - Bhakta Samaj.

Certainly, every sincere Ananda Margii will understand the ills and dogmas related with these photos. Even then for your convenience, here is a short list for your review.
1. In the Bhakta Samaj magazine (BSM), they are doing a fake yoga asanas in the name of Ananda Marga.
2. In the BSM, men and women are on display doing asanas together which contravenes our social code.
3. In the BSM, the women displayed have shaved their underarm hair thus going against Sixteen Points and our rules for doing asanas.
4. In the BSM, the women displayed are dressed according to pseudo-culture values wearing sleeveless tops and tight-fitting clothing etc.
5. The Bhakta Samaj magazine is in Hindi only so most readers will be from the Indian subcontinent. Yet here, white western women are on display - further infusing a cultural inferiority complex upon Hindi speakers etc. Already, since the British rule, India has surrendered itself to European dominance and western values. And this photo further cements this idea in the minds of Hindi readers.
6. New and prospective margiis who are not aware about Ananda Marga ideals will get the wrong idea by seeing this photo in the Bhakta Samaj magazine. They will think we are just a carbon copy of so many fake yoga outfits that are sprouting up all over the place. They will not realise that ours is a true tantric path.

Keeping the above points in mind kindly again see the photo up above which appears on page 20 of Bhakta Samaj (Feb 2016, Hindi) in the article titled- Yoga Display. And for those looking for more explanation please read further.


Editor Dada Santoshananda selling out to pseudo-culture

In all circumstances our aim is to preach and demonstrate Ananda Marga ideology: To teach genuine points of bhagavad dharma - not compromise with the ways of pseudo-culture. The entire world is waiting for something great to happen, i.e. to receive the teachings of Sadguru. Yet here we see our Bhakta Samaj editors selling-out and giving in to materialistic, societal trends.

All this is going on in the name of our Ananda Marga magazine - Bhakta Samaj. People are bound to think that Ananda Marga yoga is something cheap and commercial, not dharmic and righteous. Because they see that the Bhakta Samaj editors are teaching yoga by splashing photos of half-naked females in their magazine and preaching the virtues of pseudo-culture values etc. It is really an awful scene and I feel badly how those Bhakta Samaj editors have fallen in this manner.

By failing to live up to the ideal of our Ananda Marga ideology, the Bhakta Samaj editors are verily depriving humanity of dharmic teachings. Their duty is to spread dharma but they are doing just opposite.

These days people have become so overly busy that life has become mechanical. Often we see that people have stopped thinking - and they became like robots. Just they are going about their day from activity to activity in a mindless manner. They are acting without thinking.

And verily Baba says that since the World Wars the thinking capacity of human beings has drastically declined.

Ananda Marga philosophy states, “Generally we see that the human thinking capacity becomes somewhat dull in the wake of a major catastrophe. This accounts for the present psychic state of the human race which, as a result of two major wars which took place within a short period of time, is suffering from various miseries and tribulations. Humanity is at present unable to think, read or comprehend anything serious.” (AFPS-1, The Practice of Art and Literature)

Rational thinking is what makes human as human. Once a person stops using that faculty of mind - i.e. rational thinking - they lose their quality of being human.

And the absolute worst is now when the mind has become even more bifurcated, trifurcated, and balkanised. Here is one such. A few days ago, one very sincere margii mindlessly put this on his Facebook page.

But Niilakantha Divasa is not a happy day. Rather it commemorates the day when Sadguru Lord Shrii Shrii Anandamurtiji was poisoned. And He has given the guideline that on this day we are to protest all sorts of injustices. That is what Baba has given in His discourse on Niilakantha Divasa.

But just in His mindless, mechanical manner, this margii is wishing everyone “Happy Niilakantha Divasa”, when this very greeting itself is not in accordance with the spirit of the occasion.

If in your life a terrible incident happened where you lost a major court case or your house was destroyed in an earthquake, and then if someone appraoches you and says, “Happy earthquake day” - then how would you feel.

Remember, this is the day that Baba was poisoned. How can we say it is a happy day.

If when I am going through a personal tragedy in my life and someone says to me, “Happy tragedy day”, then I would have ignored the matter. Because it is my personal issue. But how can I ignore it     when my Guru is involved. And overall, I was terrified thinking that if this became a catchphrase that became popularised everywhere, then it would be difficult to stop, etc from going viral on social media etc.

To understand this point, one should know how newspapers are used in India and in so-called poor countries around the globe - especially in impoverished neighborhoods and slums.
(a) newspapers are used as diapers when little kids pass stool, diarrhea, dysentery in their pants;
(b) newspapers are used by poor and homeless people who stuff it inside their underwear to soak up the dripping urine / incontinence;
(c) newspapers are tossed by the side of the road where street dogs and wild pigs urinate on them;
(d) newspapers are used as toilets where people defecate into them and toss it into the open sewage line along the side of the road in the slums

So the above are some of the very real and common ways newspapers are used in cities and towns in India and so-called poor countries and destitute regions around the globe, especially in impoverished neighborhoods and slums. Please keep this graphic vision in mind as you read this letter.


Newspaper used as diaper, feminine hygiene etc in slums

Here below is the photo of Dada Nirmohananada - he is one of the dadas who keeps putting Guru’s photo in the newspaper whereby it gets used as a diaper in the slums. It is most unfortunate. In spite of repeated requests by countless margiis and Wts not to print Baba’s photo in the newspaper, Dada Nirmohananda told, “I do not care about Guru’s teaching, I will do according to my liking.” In this way he disregards these pleas and contravenes Guru’s obvious teachings which forbids such acts and he publishes Baba’s photo in the newspaper - again and again.

True disciples maintain sanctity of Marga Guru’s photo

The dharmashastra of our Ananda Marga ideology clearly states that the sanctity of Marga Guru’s photo must be maintained.

“You shall protect, in all respects and at all costs, the dignity of your treasures and the sanctity of your flag, of your emblem, and of the pratikrti [photo] of Márga Guru.” (1)

That means the sanctity of your Sadguru’s photo must be safeguarded always. On this matter, there is no scope for compromise.

So your Guru’s photo is to be protected in all conditions and circumstances – without fail. On this matter, every disciple of Lord Shrii Shrii Anandamurtiji has taken the oath to be very strict. And if any sadhaka disobeys this point they will sever their relation with Guru and ruin their spiritual life.

Unfortunately, some are going against this dharmic tantric code & harming themselves. What is it that they are doing? They are printing / publishing Guru’s photo in the newspaper. And this radically contravenes our the tantric code of sanctity of Marga Guru’s photo. Because newspapers are tossed by the side of the road where street dogs and wild pigs urinate on them.


Newspapers used by kids and adults as incontinence towel in the slums

Indeed, see how newspapers are used in India and around the globe:

(a) Newspapers are used as diapers so when little kids pass stool their feces gets completely mushed and pressed into that newspaper. So if Guru’s photo is published in the newspaper you can imagine how it will look.

(b) Newspapers are tossed by the side of the road where street dogs and wild pigs urinate on them. Those newspapers become completely saturated with that foul waste material, i.e. dog urine. Again just imagine how Guru’s photo will look if printed in the newspaper and this happened.

(c) Newspapers are used by poor and homeless people who suffer from incontinence. That means those poor patients place the newspaper in their groin where it is sweaty and sticky and the newspaper sits there all day to soak up the urine, drop by drop.

(d) Newspapers are used for blowing one’s nose and spitting, and then it gets tossed in the open sewage line along the side of the road.

Such is the grotesque fate of a typical newspaper, especially in India and similar regions etc. It is nauseating and unbearing to even think what it would be like to have Sadguru Baba’s photo soiled in this way.

That is why it is sinful, adharmic, and against the codes of tantra to publish Guru’s photo in the newspaper. In that case, the sanctity of Guru’s photo will be ruined.


Baba condemns this abhorrent act

Furthermore, Baba never approved His photo for being printed in the newspaper. Indeed, He would not even grant interviews to the press. Thus, His divine example is enough to guide us that His photo is not to be published in the newspaper.

Degraded disciples malign their Guru

This entire matter concerns the sanctity of Ista and is fundamental to safeguarding the sanctity of Guru’s photo. On this point there has to be cent-per-cent strictness. No Baba photo should ever appear in the newspaper or similar type of publication etc. As Ananda Margiis, it is our duty to abide by Sadguru Baba’s wish. We must adhere to His word, and follow the fundamental of Ananda Marga ideology.

“You shall protect, in all respects and at all costs, the dignity of your treasures and the sanctity of...the pratikrti [photo] of Márga Guru.” (3)

Those who contravene Guru’s teachings will have to face the grave consequences as they have committed sin  by insulting Guru.

Photos of relief programs should be printed in the newspaper

Ok - when Guru’s photo should not be printed in the newspaper, then what should be printed? Actually, there are a whole host of photos that can be used that highlight our social service activities. Innumerable Wts and margiis are deeply involved in social service projects and those can be printed in the newspaper on a daily basis.

“You shall protect, in all respects and at all costs, the dignity of your treasures and the sanctity of your flag, of your emblem, and of the pratikrti [photo] of Márga Guru.” (4)

Evil deeds of this Dada


The one Dada who regularly insults Guru by publishing Sadguru Baba’s photo in the newspaper is Dada Nirmohananda (Central Public Relations Secretary). In this way Guru’s photo gets tossed on the road where diseased street dogs and pigs urinate on it.

Indeed, this Dada Nirmohananda insults Guru again and again. Margiis have raised this concern with him repeatedly, but Dadaji never stops committing this sin. Again and again, Nirmohananda violates this fundamental tantric code. It seems he has zero regard for Baba’s guidelines. Nirmohananda is a d. in human form.

“Avadhuta shall always keep himself engaged in the service of Gurudeva with sincerity and devotion, in thought, words and deed, in subtle and in crude spheres, in inner and outer expressions of life.” (5)

“We are all children of the same Father. We are all member of the same family. By fighting against all kinds of evil forces, we will establish the glory of our Father and the glory of our family.” (6)

The advent of Taraka Brahma on this dusty planet brings a new refreshing source of inspiration for human beings to progress towards Him via His pristine teachings. Lord Shiva, Lord Kr’sna, and Baba have provided such inspiration and vibration to the humanity via their teachings.

Unfortunately during Lord Shiva, the written word was not yet developed and thus His teachings were not recorded. It must be noted that all that is contained in Bhagwad Giita’ today are not the teachings given by the Lord Kr’sna. Due to a large passage of time after Lord Kr’sna leaving His physical body numerous corruptions have entered into Bhagwad Giita’.

Baba spoke about this fact in many places. The teachings of Baba must be protected lest it will meet the same end as Bhagwad Giita’.

This issue is very critical due to two reasons, (1) after Baba’s physical departure not many years have passed, thus this is the ideal time to recalibrate the written records of His teachings and (2) there are many corruptions and distortions that have crept in.

This letter describes one such distortion. Due to carelessness and sloppiness by Tiljala Publications, this beautiful discourse has been ruined. It needs urgent rectification.

Please see below the passage from Ananda Marga books and pay attention to the highlighted line - that is the problematic phrase.

"Compared to mechanical babes, biological babes will be perfect. Ova and spermatozoa, both being chemical compounds, can be created in a laboratory. Embryos, created by the fusion of spermatozoa and ova, can also be developed in a laboratory. Babes created by such a method will be called biological babes." (1)


Explanation

Please see again, The problematic sentence is highlighted: “Ova and spermatozoa, both being chemical compounds.”

Now, first we should understand what a chemical compound is. A chemical compound is a substance made up of molecules that in turn are made by chemical bonding of atoms of several elements. The chemical compound per se has no signs of life, such as growth and reproduction. Ova and spermatozoa on the other hand are living entities. It would be an oversimplification to call ova and spermatozoa as chemical compounds. They have life and their own minds - they are not just  chemical compound. In light of this, it is a matter of common sense to note that this idea - “Ova and spermatozoa, both being chemical compounds” - is outlandish.

In various discourses, Baba has talked about spermatozoa and ova. He says that as the ova and spermatozoa each have their own life form. Thus the notion of ova and spermatozoa being mere chemical compounds is false and a distortion introduced by Tiljala Publications.

Ananda Marga philosophy states, "There will be two kinds of laboratory babes – mechanical and biological. Mechanical babes will be like dolls operated by electric power. The different organs of these babes can be put into action by different substations. These substations may be located within the body. These babes will have no sex difference or nervous system. Being bereft of a nervous system they will not be able to do sádhaná, and they will not experience pain and pleasure. Nor will they be able to reproduce. They will serve human beings as silent and obedient servants according to the directions of their masters." (2)

How Life Is Created
Ova and spermatozoa both have life

Ananda Marga philosophy teaches us, “In the uterus the basic physical structure is first formed. This structure has potential energy and emanates a wavelength. It receives the potentiality from the momentum of the spermatozoa. Spermatozoa get their motion from the vital potentiality of the male body, and that is why the living being is said to reside first in the seminal fluid of the male and then in the mother’s womb; after which the bosom of Mother Earth receives it.” (4)

Ananda Marga philosophy teaches us, “Since the physical structure starts from spermatozoa which have a positive motion, and, therefore, a wavelength, the physical structure thus formed must have a wavelength accordingly. We have already seen that the dissociated mind also has a wavelength (in a potential form) and a momentum which has to be expressed. The dissociated mind needs physical parallelism for proper expression, and therefore the Cosmic mutative force causes the dissociated mind from eternal space to enter the adjustable physical structure, assuming a form in the mother’s womb. This is how life comes into physical creation.” (5)
