Bad example
Namaskar,
We all know Baba places great importance on the study of history as it enables both individuals and communities to learn from past mistakes and thereby progress. Failing that, without the study of history, people commit the same old errors over and over again. Sadly, they remain shackled by the pitfalls of the past and are unable to advance. So the review of history holds a unique place for the development of any society.
This below letter serves as a case study of how those given a privileged place in AMPS misuse their status for self-indulgence, which is a direct contravention of our Ananda Marga principles. Sadly, they only create bad samskaras and invite misery upon themselves.
Please read this below letter as an historical account which depicts the scene going on those days some years ago when this was first posted.

[The demon said,] “Do you know what our daily menu is? We eat golden cakes fried in clarified butter, Pearl water mixed with coconut kernel, spiced Parble curry with salmon fish made of platinum and in the morning we brush our teeth with diamond powder!'
"The prince asked, 'Is there such an arrangement for everyone here?'"
"The demon said, 'This arrangement is for us only--that is, for those who are learned, intellectual, rich, highborn and aristocratic. Those with whom you associate due to your ignorance--those poor, mean and illiterate people--where would they get such things? They neither know how to cook nor eat. They eat stale rice and scorched eggfruit and they brush their teeth with ash." (1)
Kinshuk's greedy ordeal
See below. This is an example of ravenous greed. First off Kinshuk is a young man and he is suffering from the terminal illness of diabetes. According to Baba's teaching the main cause of diabetes is greed with regards to food. What could be a more telling example than the below photo of Kinshuk eating 56 varieties of dainties and delicacies on 56 separate plates. It is the age-old religious dogma in India to offer 56 types of dishes to one’s deity.

Such people after their demise will be reborn as a lower being - animal. Read below Baba's teaching.
Conclusion
Surveying the scene there are a few takeaway points:
(a) Those who wish to eat voraciously will be reborn as a lower being, like a pig or a wild boar.
(b) Eating so many varieties of food is unhygienic and harmful as the body struggles to digest it all.
(c) Being greedy about food is anti-social and against our conduct rules; it also invites one’s demise: physically, psychically, and spiritually.
(d) There are millions of children who do not have proper food and they go to bed hungry every night. What justification is there for one person to waste the food in this way.
(e) Above all, our Guru says that one should follow pramitáhára, i.e. food should be nutritious and of small quantity.
It is so unfortunate to see Kinshuk in this condition. Someone should warn him so he can be rectified and saved.

Reborn as wolf or wild boar
Ananda Marga philosophy states, “Suppose someone has a desire to eat delicious food. Parama Puruśa will grant that wish, and the person may be reborn in the next life as a wolf or wild boar, to eat to his or her heart’s content….One must be very cautious before wishing for anything.” (2)
It is obvious what Kinshuk’s fate is when he is eating 56 plates of food at a time. Baba beautifully compared his situation with the greedy demon who was also eating inordinate amounts of dainties and delicacies.

Baba says, “The next day the prince went to the demon’s palace on invitation. He went there reluctantly, out of sheer courtesy. When he arrived, he found that there was a royal feast. Before him were spread so many dishes and bowls, some of gold, some of silver, some studded with diamonds, all finely carved. He did not even know the names of all the pots and utensils! The distance between some of the dishes was not less than one mile.”
“There were some telescopes also to see the foods kept in the distant dishes. The prince was not familiar with most of the dishes served. Fancy rice, fried vegetables, green vegetables, mixed vegetables, breaded vegetables, seven hundred types of curry, roasted meats, braised meats, shik kabab, and besides these, something he could recognize very well – mangoes! There were small langra mangoes of Hazipur, Dasherii mangoes of Lucknow, Alfonso mangoes of Bombay, yellow Jardalu mangoes of Bhagalpur, Fazli mangoes of Malda, Ranipasand, Begampasand, and Kohitoor mangoes of Murshidabad, Sarikhas mangoes of Hooghly, Pearafuli mangoes of Sheorafuli, Begunfuli mangoes of Madras, and so many other kinds as well! Then there were lechees of Saharanpur, Muzzafarpur and Baruipur, watermelons from Lucknow, halwa-sweets; Rabri of Vrindaban, cream sweets, Ghiior sweets of Raiasthan, Shonpapri; Kalakanda Paura from Gaya and Deoghar, Morabba (Jam) from Suri, white milk sweet of Mankar, Sitabhog and Mihidana from Bardhaman, Gaja from Chandannagar, Khaichur of Janai-Dhanekhaii Langcha of Shaktigarh, tasty puffed rice balls from Jayanagar, Sarbhaja-sarpuria of Krsnanagar, Manohara from Beidanga, Chanabara; chanar-jellabee and Raskadamba from Murshidabad, curds from Natore and Nababganj, sweet rice pudding from Dacca, chandanchurd from Pabna, kancagolla of Muragacha (Nadia) and sweet laddu of Delhi – which is such a thing that one who has swallowed it and one who has not swallowed it – both have to repent afterwards.” (3)
