Addled Táraka, Delhi PROUT: readers harmed
(Proutist solution to casteism, racism)
Namaskár,

Some people think that the problem of caste/race can be tackled by (i) waging a war against those in the exploiter caste/race and (ii) simultaneously providing special benefits to those in the exploited caste/race, in the form of reservations and affirmative actions.

Wrong solutions to the exploitation in the society

These two aforementioned approaches are wrong and go against PROUT. The reason is that they both inherently acknowledge the very existence of caste/race. Whereas unfortunately, recognizing caste/race is in itself the mistake, which results in a divided human society. Humans have evolved from apes and apes do not have caste or race. As descendents of apes, therefore, humans also do not have caste or race. Stratification of society based on caste (in India) and race (outside India) has been falsely imposed throughout the world to perpetuate exploitation.
The question is, how to rid the society of these false divisions based and caste and race? The Proutist solution of eliminating documentation of caste/race is the correct approach; why this is so is explained below. (Also see earlier post, note 1)
Shrii Prabhat Rainjan Sarkar’s working style and AMPS
There are various evidences available within AMPS and in Shrii Prabhat Rainjan Sarkar’s own style of working and His writings, to prove that documentation based on caste/race is not to be encouraged.

How some people’s skin became black, some white

Ananda Marga ideology guides us,
“Human beings, since their advent onto this earth, found themselves confronted with these types of conflicting natural environments. They had to fight tooth and nail against those particular adverse circumstances to preserve their existence, and that process brought about marked changes in their outward physical structures.”
“The greater the heat of the sun, the greater the amount of ultraviolet rays in the sunlight. A study of geography tells us why there are differences in the degree of heat of the sun’s rays. Where the sun’s rays fall on earth obliquely, there is less heat of the sun, and where the sun’s rays fall straight on the earth, the heat is greater. In very hot countries white-skinned people find it very hard to live, because their skin, having less of the chemical substance called melanin, is unable to stand much heat. Body skin with a great quantity of melanin in it turns jet black, and obviously a lesser quantity of melanin makes one’s skin white.”
“If ever white people are forced for some reason to live long in a hot climate, their colour turns brown. In 1939-40, when British soldiers came to India for war purposes, their colour became brown due to the great heat. Naturally, as the skin of these soldiers had to adjust with the hot climate of India, there were some necessary changes in their skin to effect acclimatisation.”
“In hot countries the irises of people’s eyes are generally black, because more melanin is required to protect the eyeball from the scorching rays of the sun.” (1)

Revolutionary marriages

The system of Ananda Marga is to follow revolutionary marriage (RM). If a so-called Brahmin marries a so-called Dalit then the children of such a family will not have any caste. Marriages within a single caste, i.e. same-caste marriages, which are traditional in the dogmatic Hindu religion, are a way to continue the caste system by formally documenting caste information in each marriage. Similarly, if a fair-skinned Caucasian marries a dark-skinned Negroid or a yellow-skinned Mongoloid, then the offspring will have a mixed skin color making it impossible to identify these children as matching the characteristics of any individual so-called race. In a generation or two the relics of caste/race will be lost in the oblivion. Ananda Marga, using Revolutionary Marriage (RM), has permanently erased such marriage-based caste/race documentation.
Even a founding member of AM Shri Ramtanuk jii, when he got his child married within his own caste, was strongly punished by Baba for holding caste-based sentiments. For years following Ramtanuk jii’s child’s same-caste marriage, Baba stopped talking to Ramtanuk jii for committing this mistake. This is a living example that Baba treats all humans as one & condemns caste and race dogma.
Test of candidates for Family Acaryaship
In the pre-1990 era, all the candidates for Family Acaryaship were tested to check if they had any caste sentiment. Just before the formal examination of Acarya, the candidates were asked certain specific questions to check if they still had caste sentiments deep within them despite all their AM training. These questions would be asked in casual settings like while walking, eating, etc. Typical questions would include, “How can Kayasthas-- members of a particular caste that the candidate might likely be attached to-- be encouraged to join AM?” The candidate would unwittingly lay out a plan for Kayasthas to join AM. The right answer for such a question should of course be that there are no castes and thus there should not be special caste-based programs. However, those candidates who still believed in the caste system would provide a caste-based program. Such candidates were invariably failed. Again, this is a living demonstration of the importance of giving-up all caste/race related sentiments to progress in one’s spiritual life.
No questions about caste/race in AM functions like DMS
It is well known that in any AM functions no questions about one’s caste/race are asked. This system was set-up for the simple reason that AM does not subscribe to the idea of documenting anyone’s so-called caste/race. Thus, caste/race documentation is not followed in AM.
“Revolutionary marriage is the solution”
One of the important solutions provided by Ananda Marga philosophy to the problem of casteism is the system of revolutionary marriage (RM). Maintaining a so-called “pure” blood-line by have same-caste/race marriages divides the society into groups and breeds animosity leading to a fragmented social fabric. According to Ananda Marga philosophy, revolutionary marriage is one of the main solutions to tackle this problem and form a strong unified society, as the RM system obliterates the distinctions between people by mixing all the blood together.
(Rough English Translation) Ananda Marga philosophy says-- More and more people should adopt revolutionary marriage. The strong boys and girls and their guardians should quash the notion of caste/race and thereby form a strong society. And we have to propagate the ideals of Ananda Marga in all the corners of the world. For that we need more whole time workers. Some of you can become whole time workers while others can adopt revolutionary marriage to strengthen the society. (Rough English Translation ends)
According to Prout caste/race is not to be documented
Prout does not support any differentiation amongst human beings based on caste/race as Prout is based on neohumanism.

Evidence based on Shrii Prabhat Rainjan Sarkar’s writings
In a number of places, the propounder of Prout, Shrii Prabhat Rainjan Sarkar, says that caste is a false social order and is an outdated and dogmatic institution. The caste system must be wiped out immediately. To do so the first step, indeed, is to remove caste documentation and all mention of caste from the records. One can either be a spiritualist or a dogmatic individual but not both. One who maintains or supports maintaining caste related information cannot be a spiritualist. According to Shrii Prabhat Rainjan Sarkar, everyone should adopt a uniform title namely Deva so that in all the records, name based markers for one’s caste would be eliminated.
Prout philosophy guides us, “Casteism is a burden on the Hindu society. All the year round they preach casteism but on the polling days they decry it. This is wholly undesirable. It is better to avoid all titles. Titles signify the caste. If casteism is to be wiped out, it is incumbent to discard the titles. It is commendable if everyone adopts uniformity on title – Deva. Persons using a particular word more often will influence their minds with the meaning of that word. People are reluctant to use the word dása because this word signifies slavery. Whenever the so-called low caste people catch an opportunity, they declare themselves as belonging to the so-called elevated caste, etc. It is an ideal to become deva and for this reason Deva title should be adopted.” (3)

Those who follow caste/race don't believe in one supreme father
AM ideology teaches us that a father cannot have children of more than one race, and Parama Purusa is everyone’s father. As all are the children of one supreme Father, all are of the same race, the same ‘caste’, the same ‘ja’ti’.

Conclusion

Recognizing caste/race is in itself the mistake, which results in a human society divided based on caste/race. Humans have evolved from apes and apes do not have caste or race. Thus humans, the descendents of apes, also do not have caste or race. Stratification of society based on caste (in India) and race (outside India) has been falsely imposed throughout the world to perpetuate exploitation.

The Proutist solution to the evils of casteism and racism is to be achieved through the elimination of all documentation of caste and race. This elimination of caste and race documentation is in turn realized through (i) revolutionary marriages and (ii) abolishing caste/race specific titles in people’s names.

At His Lotus Feet,
Bhakti

Shri. P. R. Sarkar says,  “It is better to avoid all titles. Titles signify the caste. If casteism is to be wiped out, it is incumbent to discard the titles.” (5)

Chief wrongdoer in Delhi Prout is Táraka

  • You know, Delhi Prout is a very old Prout magazine, and is the mouthpiece of various PROUT organizations. It is supposed to be dedicated for publishing Prout philosophy. But unfortunately, the editors are doing just the opposite. The magazine publishes in English, from Delhi.

  • There are many names listed on the Publisher’s page, but the wrongdoer is Tarak Ghista (aka Tiki). His polluted mind is the cause of the degradation of the Prout magazine. When Dada Santoshananda was running the magazine, in those days it was proper. But now his name is printed on the Publisher's page just for show.

  • All kinds of names have been listed there on the Publisher’s page, but mostly due to laziness they don’t write anything. Rather, the main wrongdoer Tarak copies left wing type articles from the internet, and prints them in the Delhi Prout magazine. In this way, he deceives the magazine’s readers. Because, outwardly he never writes that it has been copied from the internet, and nor does he provide the link to the articles online. So here in this current letter, Delhi Prout means the editors of Delhi Prout magazine-- i.e Tarak Ghista (the main problem creator on the staff of the Prout Magazine). (Courtesy Ananda Marga News Bulletin)

All belong to the human race

Ananda Marga philosophy guides us, ”In Ananda Marga the first step that a person takes is to forget one’s race or sect and to no longer identify oneself with one’s race, caste or sect, whether it was superior or inferior. In social functions based on racial considerations, racial prejudices figure very prominently. In our collective functions, members of all races, castes or creeds take part as equals. The caste, race or nation is often the main consideration in arranging marriages. In our Márga, there is no such consideration. These petty differences between human beings are not given any importance. Humanity as a whole is considered as one family belonging to the race of human race. In such a society, injustice due either to economic background, sex or racial considerations will be unknown.” (6)

In depth learning

The Proutist solution to the evils of casteism and racism is to be achieved through the elimination of all documentation of caste and race. This elimination of caste and race documentation is in turn realized through (i) revolutionary marriages and (ii) abolishing caste/race specific titles in people’s names (see note 1 for a link to a detailed earlier posting on this topic). However, some confused people mistakenly believe that those belonging to a so-called superior caste or race, who exploit the people belonging to a so-called inferior caste or race, are themselves the root cause of the evils of casteism and racism.

In this post, caste and race are treated as similar in the sense that they are both the cause of false divisions in human society. (Note 2)

Some confused wts

In response to a posting on the evils of casteism/racism and Proutist solutions, some confused people circulated views online that are not at all in line with Prout philosophy. Those people say that removing documentation of caste is not a solution for eliminating the caste/race system; but this sort of view is against what Prout philosophy teaches. There are various evidences both in the writings of the propounder of Prout, Shrii Prabhat Rainjan Sarkar, and in the AM working style. Some confused WTs also have some of the aforementioned misunderstandings about caste/race. Being a member of AM one should learn the correct Proutist view on this matter so as to prevent a faulty outlook that may even lead one to misguide others.

Note 1
Link to the original post in response to which some people circulated their reply--
Note 2
Although, caste and race are different constructs in a literal sense but in the context of splitting human society both play a similar role. In India, caste is inherited from father to children. In western countries, often skin color is used as a marker of one’s race and inherited biologically. Both aforementioned constructs split the society into a hierarchy of superior and inferior caste/race. People do not mix/inter-marry across the caste/race in order to maintain “purity.” People at every level exploit their inferior caste/race while themselves get exploited by their superior caste/race. The exploitation is evidently all-pervasive in the society. Hence, in this posting, caste and race are all treated as similar.

Evil Wt Divyacetanananda

Baba
Evil Wt Divyacetanananda

Namaskar,

One Wt has made the following sinful errors while publishing the below article:
  • Please see the below newspaper scan. The Wt printed and titled the article in the name of Sadguru Baba as, “Don’t sing bhajans out loud.” But this is a completely negative title. On the one hand Sadguru Baba guides us to sing bhajans, devotional songs, and kiirtana in a full-throated voice, and on the other this negative WT is telling the public in the name of Sadguru Baba not to sing their songs out loud. The people are sure to blame Ananda Margiis as being hypocrites because we are singing bhajans our loud yet telling other not to sing out loud. It will create a bad name for our Marga. That is the awful sin this Wt has done.
  • Once again, see the below scan. Tragically, this is all being done on the public stage in the name of Sadguru Baba.
  • In the below scan. Dada failed to give due respect and reverence to Sadguru Baba by only using one “Shrii” before sadgurus name. When we know the proper method is to write “Shrii Shrii Anandamurti”.
  • Throughout the article, the Wt did not cite Sadguru Baba’s original teachings. So it is completely unknown from which discourse this is from.
  • If you read the body of this article carefully you will not find any guideline that states that devotional songs should not be sung out loud. It only says that in the concocted heading.
  • You know that in His teachings Baba condemns the approach of praising and eulogizing God out loud. Baba is addressing those religions that feel that God is up in heaven. That is why they pray out loud. But this Wt stretched the point and made it into a fallacious headline that goes against Baba's fundamental teachings. This Wt created a mess - his situation is like the black crow who tried to present himself as a parrot and not only failed but projected his own stupidity.
Please take note of the below article published in a major Indian newspaper, in name of Sadguru Baba. The main heading reads: “Don’t sing devotional songs out loud”. As explained above, this is completely hypocritical and bogus. Then, in the next line down in small writing on the left there are two isolated words above a dotted line. Those two words say, “Shrii Anandamurti.” Sadly, only one Shrii was used. But for his own name in the bottom right corner of the article, Dada put a special prefix before his name: “Prastuti” which means “presenter”. So it says: “Presenter: Divyacetanananda Avadhuta.” This Wt put his own full avadhuta name and title in full glory for all to see, but for Sadguru Baba he only used one Shrii.
http://anandamarganewsbulletin.blogspot.com/

Many dirty deeds of this so called WT
  • When reprinting any article, in any form, it is the literary standard to inform the reader that Shrii Shrii Anandamurti ji has given the discourse on such a date, in such a place, and that it is printed in such a book. All this is conspicuously absent. Dada Divyacetanananda just pasted Baba’s discourse and stuck his name at the end.
  • When publishing anyone's work it is the standard policy to clearly denote who is the author. But Dada Divyacetananananda did not do this. He put a compromised version of Guru's name at the beginning and his own name in fully glory at the end. This makes it vague and confusing to the reader as to who the actual author is. Sadly, Dadaji is just taking credit yet also giving himself a back-door exit or alibi to say, "Look Baba's name is there." But this is all the work of an intellectual cheat. No honest person can operate in this manner.
  • The story does not end here. In a conniving way, Divyacetananananda put a one-word prefix before his name. “Prastuti”-- which means “presenter”. This means Dada Divyacetanananda wrote this article, and he is presenting it before the readers. And the article is about Shrii Shrii Anandamurti ji.
  • The avadhuta dada who has printed this Baba’s discourse in the newspaper, has committed many sins.
  • There is no proper citation, i.e. date, place, book. This is entirely absent. This creates one negative trend. It opens the door for false things to get printed in Baba's name. And it thereby opens the door for adulteration in Baba's teachings. History bears testimony that the thinking of various social thinkers, spiritual leaders, Mahasambhutis has been polluted and destroyed in this way.
  • In the article look over to the right-most column, and see at the end of that column is Divyacetanananda’s name. The way this is printed gives the reader the false notion that the author of the article is Divyacetananada. Internally Divyacetananada wants people to think he is the writer. That is why he presented it in this way to the newspaper. This is a sign of the narcissism of Divyacetanananda. He wants to glorify himself more than he wants to propagate Baba. It is just like when tourists go to certain historical sites, then they take their own selfie photo. Their goal is to project themselves on the launchpad of those statues etc. Similarly, in the name of Baba's discourses, Divyacetanananda wants to highlight himself. If any avadhuta has this type of feeling, he is a degraded avadhuta. Because a true avadhuta glorifies Guru's image, not himself.
  • All in all this negative Wt is publicly writing all kinds of false and concocted things in the name of Baba. This is the most sinful thing one can do, i.e. misrepresent Guru.
Note: It looks like that in the above scan of his newspaper article, this Wt misquoted, spliced, cut, and distorted Baba’s original discourse on Iishvara Pranidhana from “A Guide to Human Conduct”.

Conclusion

Sadguru Baba's words should not be distorted, concocted, or mispresented in any way. And Parama Purusa Baba should always be referred to in the most reverential terms, especially on the public platform like the newspaper. It is so unfortunate that one of our own avadhutas failed miserably to uphold these basic standards.

In Him,
Mukesh Banerjee

Ananda Marga philosophy states, "Preach only Satya. Explain to them whatever you have done with reasons thereof. Also, make it clear to them what you want to do and why you want to do." (1)

One sad story in all of this is that this Wt - i.e. Dada Divyachetanananda Avt - repeatedly commits the same sin. Time and again senior margiis have warned Dada to not to go against Baba's guidelines. But because of his devious motive and degenerated mind, he has tried to belittle Baba again and again.

Ananda Marga philosophy says, "Due to carelessness, if any mistake has been committed unknowingly or unconsciously, one must admit it immediately and ask for punishment." (2)

Now see how this same Dada has committed more sins. This Dada has belittled and negatively projected Baba and Ananda Marga philosophy, and propagated Hindu dogma. Here below is a link to posting initially posted 08 March 2016 to unmask the hypocrisy and evilness of this Dada Divyacetanananda.

Self-engrossed wt

BÁBÁ

Self-engrossed wt
Namaskár,

In spite of being an avadhuta, Ác Rágánugánanda is known for his lavish life. Being a monk of Ánanda Márga, Ác Rágánugánanda’s conduct influences many lives. He is perceived by many as a role model. Therefore, any flaw in the conduct of a person like Ác Rágánugánanda can have profound effect on the society. In this posting, we shall see how Ác Rágánugánanda’s conduct has contravened Sadguru Baba’s elementary teachings.

In the following picture taken from Ác Rágánugánanda’s facebook profile he addresses himself as prabhu, which means master or god. Like a public relation exercise of a high profile politician Ác Rágánugánanda is posing for a picture with garland while seated in the car. Ác Rágánugánanda has provided address of his residence and his date of biological birth as August 8, 1982.

In the above picture Ác Rágánugánanda addresses himself as prabhu (god) while posing for a picture with garland on his neck. Ác Rágánugánanda has provided his address and biological date of birth. In this way, Rágánugánandji has spit on our conduct rules-- when he has taken a vow to put the conduct rules above his head and hold them high. By his conduct it proves that he is a lowly fellow.

Self-glorification instead of kiirttana

By addressing himself as prabhu or god Ác Rágánugánanda is committing the grave mistake of self-glorification. Sadguru Bábá vehemently condemns such self-glorification.

Ananda Marga ideology says, "“Kiirttaniiyah sadáharih”. Kiirtana should be done on Hari and on no other entity. One should not praise oneself or any other person. There are many people who are very fond of praising themselves by telling everyone what wonderful things they have done, but, as mentioned in this sloka, kiirtana is not for one's own self but for Hari. Even though people are taught to do kiirtana for Hari, they still make the mistake of praising themselves too much. Sometimes their self-praise is so intense that others are obliged to say, “Please stop praising yourself so much.” They forget that their self-applause is rather boring for others. Human beings should realize that no one likes to hear the self-praise of others." (1)

Frittering away begotten energy from Parama Puruśa  in self-glorification

Ác Rágánugánanda wastes his energy in glorifying his mortal existence rather than utilizing it for propagating Baba’s Dharmic injunctions. Human life is an opportunity to serve Parama Puruśa by doing His work. Once the opportunity is lost one may have to wait for a indefinite amount of time to get another human life.

Ánanda Márga ideology states, "Avadhuta will always keep himself engaged in service of Gurudeva with sincerity and devotion in thought, word and deed, in subtle and crude spheres, in inner and outer expressions of life." (2)

Conclusion

Ác Rágánugánanda has been involved in self-glorification like a high-profile politician. An avadhuta should dedicate his life in propagation of Sadguru Baba’s teachings rather than self-glorification. Unfortunately, Ác Rágánugánanda contravened all the guidelines provided by Sadguru Bábá in this regard. Being an avadhuta Ác Rágánugánanda’s conduct has a direct effect on the general society. Thus, readers are requested to contact Ác Rágánugánanda and request him to rectify his conduct.

In Him,
Bhakti

For Detailed Study

“A’loker path cha’r’ibo na’…A’mi nijere praca’r koribo na’…” (Prabhat Samgiita #337) (3)

Purport: O’ Parama Purus’a, I will never glorify my own existence. I will never praise myself in front of anyone. O’ my Lord, You have taught me to propagate Your glory. I will propagate the glory of Parama Purusa – not anyone else. So I will never propagate my own self...

Ananda Marga ideology says, "The duty of human beings is only to continue their efforts to please Parama Purusa. Thus when any work is done, the concerning sadhaka is not to be given any credit; the credit should be given to Parama Purus'a." (4)

Ananda Marga ideology guides us, "This arrogance, which makes them want to display themselves, forgetting all other things, is termed aham'ka'ra [vanity]. The predominant vrtti  behind it is aham [ego]: 'I am everything, there is nothing beyond and outside me'." (5)

Ananda Marga ideology teaches us, "So you see, preya  or ka'ma  remains busy with finite units only, and thus, the ego, who is the enjoyer of such fragmentary units, must be the small ego.  It is impossible to develop such an ego which remains always absorbed in these units.  Even people of wisdom, of high social status -- even so-called intellectual and accomplished scientists and philosophers who are always concerned with earning high respect for themselves or saving their own prestige -- even they pursue sensuous or fragmentary objects for the gratification of their egos.  Perhaps they deliberately refuse to realise that these petty objectives of their egos will infuse their minds with meanness, as a result of which all their egoistic respect, prestige and status will ultimately be pulverized into dust." Downfall: DMS or tourist agency

Namaskar,

Before 1990, when our Gurudev intended to bless His children by conducting DMC in a particular area, then simply the dates and places were conveyed via wts and other margis - either personally, or by phone, or by letters, or simple pamphlets. There was no mention about that area’s local historical sites or religious temples etc where He was going to hold DMC. Rather that place itself acquired importance with His auspicious arrival.

Now, I have seen the upcoming DMS brochures and pamphlets for Kota DMS (Oct 2017) that highlight the places of pilgrimage like different temples, statues, forts, and scenic areas etc. All these local “attractions” have been highlighted as special places to go to and visit - i.e. sightseeing etc. This means the aim of DMS function has become secondary and the places of entertainment and pilgrimage have become primary.

Here in this first photo travel agency Dadas are highlighting a dogmatic religious statue that is the focal point of G Circle in Kota.

Statue at G Circle in Kota

And here in the below photo travel agency Dadas are glorifying the old monarchy of Kota.

Fort Palace in Kota

We all know that Baba clearly explained about "tiirthas" as tire sthitah yah sah tiirthah, and never recommended to visit any temple or other sites as a tiirtha. Yet the organizers have expressed as if such dogmatic tiirtha sites are recognized by Ananda Marga philosophy and are thereby misleading common margiis of the world. This is the harmful scene that is occurring.

Nothing but a travel agency

Sadly, our AMPS has left the work of dharma pracar and instead become a typical travel agency. Just see what is going on.

Up to 1990 when DMC (Dharma Maha Cakra) was being held then Sadguru Baba presided over a grand and dharmic event. There were no side-shows - just pure dharma. Now, at DMS (Dharma Maha Sammelan) dharma is not front and center - it is not anywhere at all. Just DMS has become a collection of side shows, all smoke and mirrors. And this brochure for the Kota DMS (Oct 2017) is proof.

On the each panel of the 6-panel DMS brochure, the DMS organisers are promoting all kinds of sightseeing events such as historical monuments and dogmatic religious sites etc. As if people should be coming to Kota DMS to see these places. And this type of approach has become the norm of the H and B factions. They are not even a shadow of what Ananda Marga Pracaraka Samgha (AMPS) used to be because they have completely forgotten their dharma. Rather their existence defeats the purpose of Ananda Marga Pracaraka Samgha.

In 1955 Sadguru Baba blessed this world and beyond with the aims and teachings of Ananda Marga ideology with the sole purpose of propagating bhagavad dharma. But now that very same structure has been reduced to a world-wide travel agency. Gone are the dharmic injunctions and pristine conduct. Instead, they merely call people for DMS with the allurement of sightseeing and vacationing. Their interest is crowds and profit. Whereas in the days up to 1990, those DMS programmes verily shook the world with the force of righteousness.

So the Kota DMS brochure is just a promotional, sightseeing pamphlet. That is the hallmark of this brochure.

Conclusion

On the one side, all of humanity is desperate for physical, psychic, and spiritual service. And Lord Shrii Shrii Anandamurti ji - the Founder and Propounder of Ananda Marga - has given the solution. All the rules and guidelines, all the plans and programs, and all the answers and solutions He has graciously given for humanity to advance.

Yet now those who have taken AMPS hostage and captive are choking the propagation of Ananda Marga ideals. They are impotent and incapable of propagating Guru’s teachings - nor are they allowing others to do so. By their modus operandi it is clear what they are doing: they have reduced themselves to a mere travel agency, highlighting dogmatic sightseeing spots popularised by the masses etc.

And this brochure is not an isolated incident or outlying example. Their each and every action has been reduced to superficiality and self, dogmatic propaganda - typified by this DMS Kota brochure.

in Him,
Kailash Tiwari

Who are the masterminds & culprits

Listed from top to bottom in terms of their extreme nefariousness and hypocrisy.

  1. Rudrananda
  2. Hariishananda
  3. Satyashryananda
  4. Madhuvratananda
These above Dadas are essentially tourist agencies. The local Kota govt encourages tourism and has incentives to bring travelers to the ares. And these mastermind Wts took bribes and commissions to bring margiis for sightseeing at Kota. And they are propagating the photos in the Oct DMS brochure to generate income for the tourist dept. They are fake avadhutas and paid tourist agents. They are responsible for the ills associated with this DMS brochure and why DMS has been promoted and reduced to a sightseeing tour. The whole spirit of DMS is lost. India is a very dogmatic country and all kinds of rituals are performed. And these dadas do not have any shyness in propagating those dogmatic rituals.

Rudrananda’s main aim is to destroy AMPS and his sycophants are happy as long as they are rewarded with high posts to execute Rudrananda’s job of destroying AMPS.

Innocent bystanders

Following are just two naive and ignorant Wts caught in this matter as innocent bystanders.

  • Shubhagata’nanda - RS Kota - 0950 948 5921
  • Jiita’tmananda - DS - 07891472 109

Sightseeing monuments highlighted in above Kota DMS brochure

 - Kota lake

- Fort Palace

- Water Palace

- A Dot Palace

- K. ocean pond

- Kota Dam

- B. Temple

- D. Garden

All these above dogmatic / travel agency images are littered throughout the Kota DMS brochure. You can see them all by Googling them, getting the brochure, or writing us for the brochure. So many images they inserted to fulfill their travel agency deal.

Fine line between worldliness and spirituality

Ananda Marga ideology teaches us, “People have been feeling this irresistible attraction towards pilgrimage since the time when the idea of God first sprouted in their minds, but naturally now the question arises, what is this tiirtha? The word tiirtha means “a place of pilgrimage”. Tiira + sthá + d́a = tiirastha [tiirtha]. Tiira means the shoreline, where the land and water touch each other. The sloping portion of the land which comes in contact with this tiira is called the beach. If a person takes one step from the shoreline towards the beach one will reach the dry land, and if a person takes one step towards the water, then one will enter the water. The tiirtha, which really means a place between the physical and spiritual worlds, is analogous to this geographical tiira.”

“For if a person takes one step towards worldliness, one is likely to be entangled in all sorts of worldly allurements, and if one takes a step towards the “water of spirituality,” one will be carried away by its current. That very point, which is the connecting link between worldliness and spirituality, is tiirtha: Tiirasthaḿ tiirthamityáhuh.” (1)

What is real tiirtha and what is fake tiirtha

Ananda Marga ideology states,“People generally want to live without intense sádhaná in the spiritual sphere and without much effort in the mundane sphere. When people seek to acquire fortune or attain salvation without proper effort, then they try to remove their sins by visiting the so-called holy places of pilgrimage – they try to escape across the Baetarańii [Styx] by holding the tails of calves! The merchants in those holy places understand this mental weakness of the people, and by taking advantage of it, exploit them to the utmost. As a result, the pilgrims are unable to worship as they should, and are misguided into moving from one place to another by these exploiters. But this does not satisfy their spiritual hunger, and they feel they have not at all been relieved of their sins. Thus people of static mentality waste their valuable time, energy and money rushing from one place of pilgrimage to another.”

“Then what is the real tiirtha, and where is it situated? The golden line of the human heart whence saḿkalpa and vikalpa have originated and where they touch each other in sweet spiritual bliss – that is the real tiirtha. One who remains at this common point is called tiirastha or tiirtha – there the person and the presiding Lord of the holy place become one. Those who forget the Lord of the holy place, that ever-wakeful One in perpetual tranquillity like an eternal, unflickering flame of light in the deepest recesses of their hearts – those who wander here and there in the mundane world in search of a holy place – can they attain salvation? Shiva answers Párvatii, “No, this type of person cannot attain salvation.” (2)

Tiirtha dogma

So our duty is to follow Baba and not be misled by those who are promoting DMS as a mere sightseeing tour. The following teaching Baba guides that very point.

Ananda Marga ideology guides us, "Very often, ignorant of real spirituality and goaded by religious dogma, people undertake long and hazardous journeys to places of pilgrimage, sometimes even selling their earthly possessions like houses, cultivable land, etc to make the trip possible. They hope to attain virtue by taking a holy dip in sacred rivers. It is needless to say that this causes a loss not only of energy, time and money, but brings much trouble and no spiritual gain." (3)

Now huge propaganda is going on to convince naive people to reach to the holy land of Kota to attend the DMS program. We should not allow even one innocent person to become dogmatic prey. Rather we should propagate Baba's teaching that Parama Purusa lives in the heart of each and every devotee. One need not to rush here and there to find Him - that is ultravarious to our spiritual approach.

Namaskar,

Rudrananda inspired his stooges to file an attempted false kidnapping and murder case against Ac Mantracetanananda Avt, and two sincere margiis of Ranchi, Shrii Hemant and Shrii Jitendra.*

Today these three people were in court.

Details as follows: Ranchi AMPS (Rudrananda and his stooges) has lodged false criminal case against Dada Mantracetananda, Shrii Hemant and Shrii Jitendra of Ranchi.

They accused that these people are going to attack and kill all those living in the Baba Quarters.

In Him,
Dinesh

* Shrii Hemant and Shrii Jitendra These two are margiis form birth and the grandsons of Ac Candranath ji.

Fight between right and wrong

Ananda Vanii says, "Today all over the world, a grim fight has started between the evil forces and the benevolent forces. Only those who possess the moral courage to fight against the evil forces, can give a soothing touch to the struggle-torn earth with the balm of peace. Remember you are spiritual aspirants. Hence you alone shall have to undertake the mighty task of saving the earth." (1)

Mahaprayan of two margiis

Baba

Mahaprayan of two margiis

Namaskar,

It is with much sadness that we share the news of two mahaprayans: (1) Shrii Ramlakhan ji of Ranchi, and (2) Shrii Madan Verma ji of Muzaffarpur.

Shrii Ramlakhan ji was a senior margii of Ranchi who spent a lot of time with Baba. All know of Ramlakhan ji's great dedication. During the times of difficulty he was always at the forefront. During Emergency and when Baba was in jail, Ramlakhan ji stood tall in the face of trouble. He never ran from the field of battle. Unfortunately, his body could no longer remain on this earth and he had his mahaprayan on 25 May 2017

Shrii Madan Verma ji, also known as Kamlesh jii to many, was a margii since his birth. Over the years he supported numerous Ananda Marga projects and was quite committed to Baba's mission. Shrii Verma ji's father was family acarya Bhuvaneshvari of Bettiah and his father-in-law was Ac. Gangasaran ji, Muzaffarpur. Unfortunately Verma ji had been sick and under medical treatment. Ultimately his mahaprayan occurred on 25 May 2017 due to a heart attack.

Both Shrii Ramlakhan ji and Shrii Madan Verma ji will be very much missed in our Marga. May we all take solace in the fact that our dear brothers, Shrii Ramlakhan ji and Shrii Madan Verma ji, were bhaktas of Sadguru Baba. Certainly they will attain mukti or moksa, accordingly. Baba will lovingly bestow His infinite grace.

at the lotus feet of Baba,
Prabhu Sharan

~ In-depth study ~

We have seen that when somebody dies then in offering their condolences people say now Mr So-and-so is sitting on Baba's lap. On other occasion when telling a Baba story people also say, "Such and such person sat on Baba's lap." But these days we see the trend that "sitting on Baba's lap" is used more in connection with death. And that causes some confusion in reader's mind. To unknot the situation please read below.

Dogma: if "on Baba's lap" only used for death

Here are quoted lines from recently posted emails on various forums, wherein the writer uses the phrase - "in Baba's lap" - with the occasion of death:

- "May Parama Purusa Baba accept her in HIS divine lap"

- "May his soul rest in the lap of our beloved BABA"

- "Now she is taking rest in Baba's Lap."

- "May Baba accept him in HIS divine lap....."

- "May he rest in HIS loving lap of eternity."

- "We are sure that Baba has taken him in His loving lap."

- "May his soul rest in Baba's lap forever."

- "Let her rest peacefully in Baba's Lap - which she always desired."

- "now he is in beloved Baba's lap"

- "May his soul get peaceful place in His lap"

- "He is now in Bábá's loving lap"

- "May Baba bless him with a seat in His lap."

- "May BABA accept him in HIS divine lap!"

- "May Baba take him in his eternal loving lap."

- "May his soul rest in peace taking shelter in Baba's lap."

- "Please keep him on Your lap forever."

- "We all collectively pray to Baba to take him on Baba's divine lap forever.”

All of the above lines are commonly written in eulogizing the deceased. These days mostly it is used in a eulogy and rarely used to recount one's intimate spiritual experiences - unfortunately. By this way, the phrase "in Baba's lap" is being misused and step by step the real meaning is being forgotten as now people more commonly use the phrase to eulogize those who have died, and much less so to express their inner feelings of bhakti. Unfortunately, the meaning and inner spirit of the phrase is getting lost.

Baba story: "sitting on Baba's lap"

Some time ago after dharmacakra, a senior margii was recounting his experiences of having dharma samiiksa with Baba.

He said, "After being lovingly scolded by Baba for my wrongdoings, then He called me close and placed me on His lap - I remained there for some time soaking up His love - and He blessed me."

We all enjoyed hearing about his personal account with Baba during dharma samiiksa. When he finished telling his factual and historical event, there was a call for questions. Various people posed their queries.

Towards the end, one new margii raised his hand and asked, "How did Baba bring you back to life?"

Everyone stared at the new margii in amazement. There was a look of astonishment all around - people were really shocked to hear him say this. The new sadhaka sensed that something was wrong He said very matter-of-factly, "I thought that sitting on Baba's Lap means that he (the margii) died - that is why I asked that question."

This was quite eye-opening for those of us in the room: Through our language and expression we had unknowingly taught someone to think that being on Baba's lap is the equivalent of death. Because it seems that nowadays people only use the phrase "Baba's lap" when a person has died, such as "Let him rest peacefully in Baba's lap", as if in order to sit on Baba’s lap one has to die. But that is false. Sincere sadhakas regularly sit on Baba’s lap in their meditation. It is His grace. It is just like a child need not die in order to sit on his father’s lap.

The idea is that this phrase - Baba's lap - has been linked with death due to extreme overuse. So for some time if sadhakas use this phrase exclusively for spiritual purposes, that will be best.

The phrase, "sitting on Baba's lap", should not meet a similar fate. It should not lose its pure spiritual quality and just refer to one's death. That will be very negative.

Baba would bless bhaktas and place them on His lap

There are tens of thousands of recorded stories by sadhakas where they use the phrase, "on Baba's lap", when describing their experiences of being with Baba: He used to bless them and bring them on His lap. People should understand the deeply mystical value of this expression, and not just think that Baba's lap means death, i.e. that you can only sit on His lap at the time of death. Still today there are thousands of margiis walking this earth who sat in Baba's lap. And not only that, there are countless more sadhakas who were blessed by Baba in dreams and sadhana wherein they sat in His lap. And still today this deeply intimate experience is attainable by sadhakas, by His grace.

There are so many ways an aspirant can reach unto Baba's lap including in sadhana. That is the main idea that should be preserved. Sadhana is a spiritual practice and one can sit on Baba's lap in sadhana. We should make it cent-per-cent clear to one and all that the phrase, "sitting on Baba's lap", does not mean death.

"Mahaprayan" means death of mortals - confirm for yourself
from the Samsad Bengali-English Dictionary

Mahaprayan (Death): Many are aware that mahaprayan (death) is the common term used in India and especially in our Bengal to describe the death of any human being, even ordinary people. In that way, the obituary columns of the newspapers of Bengal regularly cite the mahaprayan (death) of various persons of society who died or passed away.

Some may get confused and wrongly think that the word 'mahaprayan' (death) is one extraordinarily term of bhakti to be used in association with Parama Purusa. But that is not at all the case. Rather to do so is only to undermine the eternal presence of Parama Purusa. That is why no bhaktas ever use the word 'mahaprayan' in reference to Lord Shiva or Lord Krsna. Because Lord Shiva and Lord Krsna exist eternally. Then there is no question of Their mahaprayan (death).

Baba is Parama Purusa so He is eternal and there is no question of His mahaprayan.

Here it should be known that the convention of an annual death day ceremony (i.e. shraddhainjali or mahaprayan) is a foundation of the Islamic tradition. Muslims are well known for this, and their approach of an annual death day ceremony was adopted by the leader of a particular group in AMPS. So no one should think that mahaprayan is some type of sacred event. It is done on the death day anniversary of Muslims.

And for those who need still more technical proof then all this can be clarified quite readily by referencing the dictionary. Specifically in the Samsad Bengali-English dictionary 3rd edition on page 848. Checking there it will be confirmed that the word 'mahaprayan' means death. Which is why it is used to refer to the passing away of even common citizens. And that is the case in this letter also. The term mahaprayan means death and this is the ideal term for this purpose.

Mahaprayan is only for humans not for Sadguru

Here it should be qualified that there is both real mahaprayan and fake mahaprayan. Real mahaprayan marks the death of any ordinary human being, just like the aforesaid news. This is the proper use of the term: To note a person's departure from this earth. That is the meaning of the mahaprayan term and that is the standard way the term is used in Indian languages.

Then there is the fake, or so-called, or dogmatic mahaprayan. That is when certain vested interests try to apply the mahaprayan term to Parama Purusa. This is grossly inappropriate because when Parama Purusa Sadguru Baba is that Divine Entity who is beginningless and endless and resides always in our heart, then it is entirely wrong to proclaim that He is gone.

That is why rational margiis are protesting; because the Oct 21st program is so-called mahaprayan. So-called means that something is fake. Parama Purusa is eternal, thus for some vested interests to declare "mahaprayan of Parama Purusa" is nothing but so-called mahaprayan.

Mahaprayan only really happens in the case of human beings, not Parama Purusa. Those doing mahaprayan for Sadguru are hypocrites. On the one side in meditation they ask His grace thinking that He is ever-present, and on the other side they think that Baba has passed way. That is their hypocrisy.
