How some wts earn money
Namaskar,
Often we see that some wts collect donations by painting an exaggerated picture to the public as to what is actually being planned-- such as social service projects like seminars, retreats, and building construction etc. And thereby these wts collect large amounts of edibles and goods, etc.
Earning by special trick
We see that these wts exaggerate estimates, citing several hundred times more than what is actually needed in that program. And in turn they receive all kinds of donations. During the program, these wts expend only a minute percent of what they collected. And the rest of the collected goods—grains, cloths, shoes, cement, iron rods, bricks, doors, windows—gets resold by the backdoor, and the money gets diverted towards the black hole.
“Look—that fellow is a cheat. Be aware”
It is unfortunate that some wts who do such things, think what they are doing is alright. In a confused way they think, “If I tell the truth, then donors will not give generously.” But this is a completely faulty approach because of the following negative outcomes:
- The wt's mind by this becomes greedy and crude;
- This action of misleading about the amount of donation needed is nothing but deception;
- Due to the accumulation of bad money, the wt gets the opportunity to indulge in various types of sinful things;
- Sooner or later, the donors come to know the truth that their donation was misused—and that the so-called projects were either a hoax or just very meagre in comparison to the what was propagated;
- The donors feel deceived;
- Later when that wt walks in the market, and the donor sees that wt, then the donor will tell all his friends, “Look—that fellow is a cheat. Be aware.”
- Slowly, in the entire township, the name of our AMPS organization will be soiled. People will think these people are a bunch of thieves.
The way out
- The way out is that whatever genuine need one has, one should request for that much only. Do not manage the finances oneself; rather, give the duty to a committee of Margiis. The wt may preside over that.
- After the program, extra donation should be returned back to the donors.
- If one takes these simple steps, then in the future there will not be any need to go and beg around. Rather, the local people will themselves run the projects happily.

Who are hypocrites
Ananda Marga Caryacarya states:
"(5) Hypocrites are:"
"(a) Those who give indulgence to falsehood;"
"(b) Those who are ungrateful to their benefactors;"
"(c) Those who do not keep their word;"
"(d) Those who betray;"
"(e) Those who slander behind one's back."
"(6) You may come to a temporary truce with a hypocrite, but do not forgive till his/her nature is reformed. Immediate forgiveness is a special weakness of mind. It results in worse harm to society. Those who cherish class distinctions, communalism, provincialism and casteism while indulging in propaganda about universalism are also hypocrites." (1)
