Following are statements one confused Proutist made at a conference. Although the conference occurred in 2011 the matter is still quite relevant as they maintain an active website and continue to propagate and broadcast the view that Prout and socialism are linked and complementary.
Here are a few key excerpts from that speech by Leopoldo Cook that was translated by Maheshvaranandji and posted by Dada to the Prout website.
[A] In this first quote, they place Shrii P.R Sarkar's teachings of neo-humanism and Prout into the same boat as socialism (i.e. communism).
* "As you see, my subject relates Neo-humanism and Prout to socialism as we see it today. We will review some of Sarkar’s thinking."
[B] Next they lay claim that Shrii P.R. Sarkar advocated socialist [i.e. communist] revolution.
* "He [Shrii P.R. Sarkar] speaks of the need for a revolution that should be global, holistic, spiritual, socialist and cooperative."
[C] Here below they link Shrii P.R. Sarkar with Marx [the founder of socialism, i.e. communism].
* "Combining all the ways of thinking by Sarkar, Marx, etc., we can see how society is in evolution, going through various social stages, bio-phycho-social systems, or whatever name we want to call them."
[D] Then they put forth the bogus idea of similarities between Marx & Shri P.R. Sarkar.
* "There are a lot of similarities between Marx and Sarkar. I invite you this afternoon to analyze the relationship among Sarkar, Graves and Marx."
[E] Finally they state the we are merely calling socialism as neo-humanism and Prout - as if Prout and neo-humanism are just new names for socialism / communism.
* "This civilization we can call 21st Century Socialism. Neo-humanism-Prout is the name we want to give it. Only if we work for it we can help history."
Such so-called Proutists should open their eyes
Yet Prout is worlds apart from socialism; one should not propagate Prout as being a leftist philosophy. That is very harmful for the continued and future progress of Prout. But one confused Prout Wt has been repeatedly equating Prout with socialism (a.k.a. communism) on the public platform and on a website, where by he is keen on abusing capitalism yet praises socialism, Marxism, and communism etc.
Let us not forget that Dadaji's book - After Capitalism - was publicly supported those Marxist leaders. Dada Maheshvarananda also invites them to preach about socialism and praise Marx on the platform of Prout.
At a conference hosted by the Prout Research Institute of Venezuela & Dada Maheshvaranandji, there was a keynote speech by Leopoldo Cook that wrongly, yet undeniably, links socialism with Prout. The entire speech is about showing the audience how Prout and socialism (i.e. communism) are brother-sister philosophies. That is the tragedy that is being done under the banner of Prout.
Plus each and every syllable of that speech was translated into English by Maheshvaranandji. So Dadaji is intimately familiar with the contents of that speech. Yet he himself posted that speech to the Prout website, thereby wrongly equating Prout with socialism for the whole world to see.
But that should not come as a big surprise, because since the beginning Maheshvaranandji has misrepresented Prout as he is utterly unwilling to state that Prout is 100% opposed to socialism in all its forms. Rather, Maheshvaranandji's favored approach is to show how cozy Prout and socialism are. But this is utterly wrong - since its inception Prout has been critical of the ills of socialism.
