Parama Purusa is our sole object of adoration, not any #2 or xyz person. So it is quite unfortunate and astonishing what one of our avadhutas did.
As Ananda Margiis, and as disciples of Lord Shrii Shrii Anandamurti ji, we are to only glorify Him, as He alone is the Supreme Entity.
Ananda Marga ideology guides us, ““Tamekaḿ jagatśakśiirupáḿ namámah”. I should salute that One entity. “Tadekam nidhánam sharańaḿ vrajámah”. If I am to accept anyone as the supreme shelter of life, as the ultimate desideratum, let it be that One Entity, and no other. He is the only entity which needs no shelter and no base. He depends on none. He is “nirálamba”; He needs no support. That is why He is the Supreme Entity, the Highest Entity. Let us move towards Him.” (1)

Just a day or so ago, on 2nd October while visiting Shimoga, this Wt garlanded this political leader. This completely contravenes our spiritual ethics and feeling of bhakti in AM. Moreover, it flies in the face of all avadhuta conduct rules as well.

In this below image, an orange-clad avadhuta is leaning over towards a photo that is mounted on a chair. The chair is draped in a decorated white cloth, and the photo has a blue background and depicts a mustached man wearing a brown buttoned vest and a white cap. This is an Indian political leader. And this avadhuta is standing to the left side of that photo and garlanding that Indian political leader. It is so unfortunate. That avadhuta should have full reverence for Baba, but instead this Wt is glorifying and garlanding this Indian political leader.
