Caretaker is guilty: children’s home
Sadguru Baba has given the program of our AM children’s home in order to provide a safe and stable environment where kids in need can grow and receive all the requisite training and care. Our children’s homes are to look after the physical, psychic, emotional, and spiritual well-being of the child. The recent tragic death of one of our home girls once again reminds us how nowadays our homes for children fall far short of the mark.
Overview of AM children's homes
Here are some of the more glaring defects nowadays in our children’s home system:
#1: The Wts running our AM children’s homes use the children as props to get donations and earn huge money which they use for their own satiation and indulgences, not for the welfare of the children. They walk and show the children to big donors in order to get big money, but that is all a stunt. They clean-up and put on a show for a few minutes or hours and then once the donation is secured, the child’s work is over and again they are left to suffer in neglect and abuse. It is quite abhorrent how our own Wts exploit those innocent kids for their own selfish aims.

#2: Those Wt in-charges look upon those kids as their slaves and indentured servants. What to speak of inculcating in them the idea that they are the divine child of Parama Purusa, they demean and order the children to attend to their menial tasks: wash the floors, clean the clothes, scrub the windows, massage Dada’s / Didi’s feet etc. Verily the kids are not given any rights and are viewed as free labor.
#3: Those kids work from pre-dawn to late at night - only eating the simplest of food. All the while Dada ji lives like a king in complete comfort, whereas the kids barely have anything.
Senseless tragedy: home girl electrocuted
#4: No safety measures are taken to ensure the well-being of those kids. There have been slew of accidents due to the dangerous surroundings. The recent electrocution of the home girl that led to her death is not an isolated example. Sadly, there have been other severe injuries and deaths due to hazardous conditions, including the well-known incident of the home girl in Punjab.
#5: The children of today are tomorrow’s future, and their lives are to be safeguarded and cherished. That is why every civilized society takes it very seriously when there is any type of hazardous situation or incident that harms children. Most of the time those caregivers, in-charges, guardians, or parents will be put in jail if they are found to be negligent in ensuring and protecting the child’s welfare. So our AMPS in-charges should be alert and put on warning. This type of situation is to be taken with the utmost seriousness. Verily, if we look at this in a neo-humanistic manner those in-charges are at fault as it was their duty to ensure that the dwelling was properly maintained without live wires or electrical hazards.

#6: Now see this below report about the recent tragic death of the homegirl Anu as 440 volts of electricity riveted through her body. Dangerous construction equipment had been left in the open and the child got exposed to and killed by the electrical supply line. It was a shocking and gruesome ordeal, and the girl was pronounced dead on arrival at the hospital:

#7: There needs to be a full outside review and investigation. This is not just about legal liability, but the full review of what is happening in our AM children’s homes. There is zero time for delay.
