Why Wandering in search of Sadguru is flawed idea

Namaskar,
What Baba is describing in His below teaching is still going on in India - both inside and outside of Ananda Marga. For instance, Ac Cidananda ji describes indepthly in his book how before, and even after, entering into Ananda Marga he would venture of to the foothills of the Himalayas - Haridwar & Rishikesh - in search of great spiritual guides etc. To this end, he visited numerous holy sites (tiirthas) and stayed in various ashrams with the hope of finding some great sadhu or saint etc. Cidananda ji documented all this in his book - Unforgettable Memories (2008). Dada Samanvayananda ji held a similar inclination: Go to the Himalayas in search of a great preceptor. This is what he wrote in his book and used to tell everyone - on numerous occasions. However, this type of approach is not supported by Ananda Marga.

Ananda Marga philosophy states, “Although it is difficult to find a muktapuruśa or sadguru (great preceptor), it is not necessary to search for one in jungles, mountains and caves in accordance with popular belief. The purpose of the Qualified Supreme Entity in manifesting the creation is to obtain emancipation for each one of Its units. In order to fulfil this purpose, It will have to appear before anyone who has a yearning for emancipation. This yearning or state of mental uneasiness caused by the intense desire for emancipation heralds the arrival of the opportune moment. The Qualified Supreme Entity, in the form of a great preceptor, will appear to those who have reached this opportune moment by virtue of their intense desire for liberation. If this were not so, the purpose of the creation would not be served; it would be merely a trap, and the Creator, the Qualified Supreme Entity, would become the cause of bondage. Hence to wander through jungles and over mountains in quest of a great preceptor is futile. What is most essential is to kindle in one’s heart a yearning, an intense desire for emancipation.” (1)

And this same idea is expressed in Ananda Sutram as well.

        Muktyákáunkśayá sadgurupráptih.

Purport: When a vehement desire for emancipation wakes up in a person, he or she attains his or her sadguru [true spiritual preceptor] on the strength of that desire. (2)

And not just these two, Ac Cidananda ji & Samanvayananda ji, but also many more purodhas who lack devotional experience / realisation of Baba sought out various Indian gurus etc. And it was only after those pseudo-gurus recognised Lord Shrii Shrii Anandamurtiji as a very great Guru - and spoke of Baba’s unparalleled status - that those purodhas began to think that Baba must really be great. They thought this only because those pseudo-gurus said so. Sadly, this is the depth of their realisation of Baba. It is quite tragic.

All in all, Baba guides us that going to the jungle or Himalayas in hopes of gaining a great master is nothing but fool’s paradise. The only way to truly come in contact with the Sadguru is to cultivate the yearning for Him within. Then surely He will hear your call, knock on your door, and bless you by drawing you near - i.e. arrange for your initiation. So this should be the approach.

Unfortunately, we could not convey this teaching to regular citizens etc because as we speak so many of our own big Dadas are not seeking Him inside, but instead walking and trekking in the Himalayas in search of a great guru, when really the proper avenue is to look within.

O' Parama Purusa, will You not come to me

(Note: Only those who sincerely practice the higher lessons of sahaja yoga meditation can understand this song in the depths of their heart.)

Prabhat Samgiita Intro: The following song paints the picture of one devotee in the midst of a big calamity - some serious circumstance has occurred like a tragic accident, serious illness, or even death. In that situation, people often feel isolated. They think nobody is there to help. That brings complete misery. Yet, in this world everything is always changing -  the days do not remain the same. After tragedy, good times come.

Those lacking above-average devotion feel completely lost when a serious crisis befalls them. Their situation is just like a parrot under attack by one cat. When the cat is not around, the parrot repeats the name Rama over and over again like a mantra. Some naive people really think the parrot is a devotee but when a cat enters onto the scene and stalks the parrot, then in that time of crisis that parrot stops repeating the name Rama. It completely forgets its mantra and just cries. It has no inner connection with that mantra. The sense is that when there is no love for Parama Purusa, then in times of difficulty one forgets their mantra and they get terrified and feel helpless. This is what lower bhaktas do. For great devotees the situation is 100% different.

So this following song depicts the feeling of lower devotion. When immersed in problems, the bhakta forgets Parama Purusa and sadhana becomes difficult. So this song should be sung by those who have this internal feeling. At the same time, know that not every song is for everybody. In this song the bhakta is confiding in Parama Purusa that when a tragedy came then I could not think about You, so now I humbly request You Parama Purusa to please come in the abode of my mind.

In the below song, the thunderstorm is a metaphor for tragedies undergone in life.

"Jhaŕer rate ándhárete, kende chilum vano majhe,
kaite kathá bujhate vyathá, keu chilo na mor káche..." (Prabhat Samgiita #3199)

Purport:

O' Parama Purusa, on that very dark night when a big thunderstorm was raging, I was crying alone in the deep forest. Nobody was there to talk to - to console me - to understand the tale of my suffering. No one was nearby, and I could not feel Your presence. So I felt like I was all alone in that thunderstorm.

Baba, in the height of that wild storm, so many big branches were breaking off the trees and crashing down on the ground. And those tender buds and beautiful flowers were also completely blown off from the limbs of the trees. That very dark, horrendous night was so disastrous. Those blossoms and branches were wailing loud lamentations; every tree was crying bitterly in that thunderstorm.

O' Parama Purusa Baba, the thunderstorm is over. With the end of this deadly night, a soft, gentle breeze is in the air. Will you please come in the madhuvan [1] of my mind, in my mental grove, with Your sweet, attractive form?  After all, the bad days are over, so please grace me by coming in my charming hours - in my good times - to bless me...


Notes for Prabhat Samgiita #3199:

[1] Madhuvan: Literally meaning "nectar forest"; But it refers to that remote, isolated, grove in the mind that is filled with spring blossoms, sweet fragrance, aromatic flowers, and a gentle & fragrant breeze. It is that tranquil mental abode where nobody is present except the devotee and the Lord. And there the bhakta and Parama Purusa sit together ensconced in that very divinely intoxicated atmosphere and they share the loving feeling of their heart in a very close, intimate, and loving way.

Rotten things in WWD

Note: This letter is not for those who are guided by atma-sukha tattva and don’t care about Baba’s teaching. This letter is only for those who have reverence for Guru and try to follow His guideline.

Namaskar,
Some time ago In Hissar, local government officers conducted a sudden, surprise inspection of the ashram in Hissar. Didi was not there - only the children were present. And there was no landline phone in the home; nor was there proper food for the children. Instead, the in-charge Didi was sitting in Delhi, leaving the children to fend for themselves. And the children had no way of communicating with Didi in case some incident or accident occurred. Those kids were left unattended without any way for reaching out for help. That is the scene those government officials encountered when they arrived on site.

Actually the presiding Didi is one of all those didis who is a lesbian disciple of Didi Ananda Danvrata and Didi Ananda Kalyanshrii. And since Didi Ananda Kalyanshrii was in Delhi so the this Didi went Delhi to see her and to attend them. And there was no one to oversee the children in the home. So those government officers took all those children to a certified government children’s home.


Scam for gaining money

Well then reality came out that those children were not orphans. Didi had brought them from her laokik relatives and / or from her village. So she was keeping those children and showing them to be orphans in order to procure donations from margiis and non margiis. When in fact those children were not orphans. Rather they were Didi’s tool for getting money. This type of scheme is completely against the codes of asteya and satya. It seems now Baba is doing His work and exposing their untruthfulness. A sannyasi wt should not do such things with the sole intent of gaining money.

Actually, nowadays, Dadas and Didis not keep landline phones in their jagrtis; they only keep cell phone. Why? So that no one can catch them. Whereas the basic rule is that every ashram must have landline phone.

Didi Chinmayii is from Bikaner. She is keeping her laokik sister's daughter (which is against the sannyais / Wt code) with her because many times she ran away with many men. Her character is not decent at all. She watches TV all the time - not simple shows but adult dramas with vulgar songs, and crude programming. The children from home also follow her. The result was that two time these children home girls ran away from ashram. The margiis found them and brought them back.

And there are not just one or two stories like this - verily the whole system is infested and corrupt. It is very sad and painful to see BABA's Mission like this. So whole system is corrupt. Didis are keeping their family with them. They do have more love for family member then home children. They do every time injustice with children in home.

Why Rudrananda is the cause


All these aforesaid things are happening because Dada Rudrananda wants characterless people in Centre. Dada Rudrananda is the main cause - he has a strong fascination for characterless people so he can control them. In this way he has collected all kinds of dirty people and put them in key posts in Centre - and he has made them as various board secretaries and purodhas. What Rudrananda likes, they do. This is abominable. Even PP Dada is caught in the serpentine noose of Dada Rudrananda. PP Dada tells everyone, “Do not ask me anything just take permission from Dada Rudrananda.

This ugly scene every sincere margiis understands - those who are sleeping that is a different issue. Well, I think there is no end. I like to end here.

What you can do

1. Do not give money to anyone without seeing proper accounting.
2. With respect to children’s homes, helping is very good and noble but do not assume anything. Be sure to see the documentation papers of each child. If genuine then help otherwise not.
3. When Didi is not around then talk with the children one on one to see how they are treated.
4. Lastly, put some hidden camera so child abuse can be recorded - verbal or corporeal.

Like this there are so many ways you can participate in rectifying and controlling the situation. All these problems festered because people are passive donors. They like to give but do not care whether feeding the devil or someone divine.

WT conduct rules on black money


By their tactics, they have certainly contravened Guru's teachings and conduct rules on black money. Following are Baba's mandates for wholetime workers:

- Wt conduct rule: "No worker can keep unaccounted money (black money) with him." (Wt Conduct: Six Additional Rules, pt# 1a)

- Wt conduct rule: "Each worker will separately maintain the clear account of receipt and expenditure of his personal allowance and organizational money." (Wt Conduct: Six Additional Rules, pt# 1b)

- Wt conduct rule: "Whenever supervisory worker so desires, the worker is to give the proper account of expenditure tallying with the cash at their disposal." (Wt Conduct: Six Additional Rules, pt# 1c)

- Wt conduct rule: "Each amount of collection should be deposited properly and drawn after submitting requisition." (Wt Conduct: Six Additional Rules, pt# 1d)

- Wt conduct rule: "Proper vouchers are to be maintained for each item of expenditure." (Wt Conduct: Six Additional Rules, pt# 1e)


Wt conduct rules: sexual opposite sex

Here are Sadguru Baba’s guidelines for all wholetimer Dadas and Didis of the Marga.

- WT Conduct Rule: "You will protect yourself from sexual weakness and luxury." (WT Conduct Rules, Fourteen Points, pt #12)

- WT Conduct Rule: "One should not look at the face of the opposite sex except at the time of nursing [administering medical care]." (37 Workers Rules, pt #15)

Note: The above conduct rule contains an exception. Here is the explanation. Suppose there is an accident and the injured party is of the opposite sex; the patient has a wound on their face, and a Wt is on the scene to help. When serving the patient of the opposite sex and tending to their wound, that Wt will have to look at their face in order to offer the requisite care needed. Outside of this circumstance, there is no need for any wholetimer to look at the face of the opposite sex. That is why the rule is that if a Wt is talking with the opposite sex then they will look towards the ground and not the face of the opposite sex.

- WT Conduct Rule: "Avadhuta / Avadhutika shall treat every woman of the world...as mother." (32 Rules for Avadhuta, pt #11)

- WT Conduct Rule: "Avadhuta / Avadhutika must not remain in a lonely place with any female." (32 Rules for Avadhuta, pt #13)

Wt conduct rule: “Under no circumstances should the purity of the mind and body be polluted.” (32 Rules for Avadhutas, point #30)

WT conduct rule: “Avadhuta must not engage his ears in hearing obscene language or song, touch any rajasika articles, see any depraving entity or picture, or go through any story, novel or picture having even a slight bit of sexual importance... All avadhutas should learn this mantra by heart: O Bhiks´u, O monk. Control your eyes, hearing, smell, tongue (taste), body, lips (speech) and mind. You should have all-round restraint, then you will overcome all pain (32 Rules for Avadhutas, point #32)

The letter, word, and spirit of Guru’s guidelines are that there must be clear and cordial separation between male Wts and female Wts - between members of the opposite sex. This is highly important to have a successful and thriving Wt cadre.

Didi A celebrates donkey birthday

Note: This letter is only for those who have (a) reverence for Guru, (b) try to follow His guideline, and (c) have deep empathy for Wts. 

Namaskar,
As you think so shall you become. This is the fundamental ethic of Ananda Marga sadhana. Ideate on Brahma and become one with Brahma. If one thinks about oneself then the mind becomes smaller, smaller, and smaller. That mind will degenerate and ultimately become unfit for human life - what to say about liberation. This applies for our wholetimer Dadas and Didis as well.

And verily, at each and every juncture or stage of training, our avadhutikas are given a new name because each stage itself represents a new birth – a new beginning, all the while leaving behind their old life. In which case, where is the scope for an avadhutika to celebrate their own worldly birthday. Thus, every Wt in our Marga should think twice about how far they should celebrate their “birthday”. According to Sadguru Baba, for avadhutikas there is no question of celebrating their worldly birthday. Because celebrating one’s own birthday is self-glorification and that degenerates the mind.




The spirit of being an avadhutika is to dedicate everything to Marga Gurudev. By getting avadhutika diiksa and by getting their new avadhutika name, our Didis no longer have anything of their own. In that blessed state, everything belongs to Shrii Shrii Anandamurtiji. And Shrii Shrii Anandamurtiji is their mother, father, & everything. Out Wt Didis should only sing the glory of Parama Purusa. That is the oath our avadhutikas have taken. So there is no question of celebrating their worldly birthday. Because celebrating one’s own birthday is self-glorification and that degenerates the mind.

Our avadhutikas surrender their all – their entire I-feeling – at His lotus feet. Their name has changed; their address has changed; their identity has changed. They have no past connection with their worldly life, nor their worldly birth. Avadhutikas give everything to Parama Purusa – they have nothing left to call their own. So there is no question of celebrating their worldly birthday. Because celebrating one’s own birthday is self-glorification and that degenerates the mind.

That is why in the conduct rules of the avadhutika, there is no such thing as the observance of one’s own birthday or any form of celebration or glorification of one’s own unit existence. Rather the avadhutika’s goal of life and the be-all end-all of their existence is to glorify Parama Purusa. Our avadhutikas are to be established solely in Marga Guru’s glory.

In which case, where is the scope for an avadhutika to celebrate their own worldly birthday. Unfortunately, some disoriented Wts still exist who sing their own glory and celebrate their birthday. Such Wts are so influenced by avidya maya that they forgot about their oaths, their name, their dress. They started equating themselves as a …., unfortunately. Now, it is the duty of all margiis to help them understand their greatness that our avadhutikas are disciples of Lord Shrii Shrii Anandamurtiji. So there is no question of glorifying their worldly existence. Because celebrating one’s own birthday is self-glorification and that degenerates the mind.

Ananda Marga ideology highlights the importance of one’s spiritual initiation as a time of birth.

Ananda Marga ideology states, “The first birth was the physical birth, and the second birth was the spiritual birth, during initiation.” (1)


Conclusion

Once again, as you think so shall you become. This is the fundamental characteristic of Ananda Marga sadhana. Ideate on Brahma and then one can become Brahma. If one thinks about oneself then the mind becomes smaller, smaller, and smaller. That mind will be degenerated and unfit to get human life - what to say about liberation.

Celebrating the birthday is entirely ego-centric. All come to praise that individual. It is antithetical to common ethics of Ananda Marga and very detrimental for spiritual progress. It is common sense that not only avadhutas & avadhutikas, even general margiis constantly think of their ista mantra, and not about their own self. That is why in Ananda Marga no sincere sadhaka / Wt etc celebrates birthday.

Why it is called donkey birthday


In Ananda Marga, if anything is done for superficial show or in an insincere manner then that is not at all good. And if kiirtan is sung with the primary motive as a display of one’s musical talent and instead of spreading the glory of the Supreme Entity, then that is donkey kiirtan.

Likewise, when any Wt or avadhutika celebrates their own birthday in their honour instead of spreading the glory of Parama Purusa, then their celebration is a donkey birthday.

One should not think that when the spermatozoa fertilises the egg - and a baby is born. For sadhakas and non-sadhakas, this particular human life is a piece in the long chain of life and death. In the course of the day, on average one breathes 22,00 - 24,000 times. And those who repeat their ista mantra and coordinate it with the breath experience a rebirth each and every breath. Of course, when you get initiation that is another birth. And when you become a Wt that is another birth. And when you become an avadhuta that is another birth. So sadhakas have so many births and after all one should not glorying oneself. So talking about birthday is a waste of time.


Wt Conduct Rules

Wt conduct rule -- “Avadhuta / avadhutika shall always keep himself engaged in the service of Gurudeva with sincerity and devotion, in thought, words and deed, in subtle and in crude spheres, in inner and outer expressions of life.” (3)

Wt conduct rule --  "We are all the children of the same Father, we are all the members of the same family. By fighting against all kinds of evil forces, we will establish the glory of our Father and the glory of our family." (4)

Wt conduct rule --  "One should make others good by becoming an ideal person." (5)

Wt conduct rule --  "One should follow discipline very strictly." (6)

Wt conduct rule --  "One should be ready always to accept all suffering as rewards and become an ideal son / daughter of the Cosmic Father." (7)

Namaskar,
It is alleged that to please Dada Rudrananda, Dada Ramashrayananda embezzled the huge money received when he illicitly sold 44 acres (18 hectares) of prime real estate from the Cordoba master unit in Argentina. This is an extremely large parcel of land according to our Marga standards. It was very choice expanse of land that was nearest to the road. And it was looted for Dada Rudrananda  by Dada Ramashrayananda.

By Dada Rudrananda’s order, Dada Ramashrayananda sold the land. In turn, Dada Ramashrayananda was rewarded with a big promotion: from rector master to SES of GT sector. With all their illicit land selling work complete in GT sector, Dada Ramashrayananda was again promoted and made SES of Manila sector. And more about this is described below.

Looted money from went to kith & kin


The next question is what did Dada Ramashrayananda do with the stolen money after he gave the lion’s share to Dada Rudrananda. So Dada Ramashrayananda stole from Dada Rudrananda because Dada Rudrananda wanted to devour the whole sum by himself. But Dada Ramashrayananda is cunning and he posed as if he gave 100% to Rudrananda, when in fact Dada Ramashrayananda kept a large sum for himself. And below is the account of what Dada Ramashrayananda did with the money he kept.

First and foremost, Dada Ramashrayananda spent one million rupees on a land purchase for himself in Ranchi. Because Dadaji had become an Argentinean citizen, he could not purchase land in India in his own name. So Dadaji bought that land in Ranchi in the name of his laokik sister and / or nephew.

And actually Dadaji is extremely involved with his laokik family (Madhepura District) and he gave huge monies to his laokik parents and his siblings - of which Dadaji has 9 laokik brothers and sisters. And all those funds came from the sale of our Ananda Marga master unit land in Cordoba, Argentina.

Plus even one of Dada Ramashrayananda’s contacts in Argentina traveled to India carrying extraordinary sums of money, and Dada - currently living in Vietnam as SES of Manila sector - went to India to receive his acquaintance and get the money.


Nepotism: schooling, university studies, nieces and nephews

So Dada Ramashrayananda is responsible for drawing / embezzling huge amounts of money from GT in various ways through numerous channels. And after making some key investments for himself, he has bankrolled the life expenses for all his laokik family members. Dadaji has covered the cost for the schooling and university studies of all his nieces and nephews, born to his 9 brothers and sisters. Plus he has provided them with surplus cash and resources for all their living needs.

Baba says: Oppose corrupt wts - do not tolerate their behaviour

So here following is Baba’s great teaching where He guides us about the importance of pointing out the wrongdoing of close persons. Just like parents with love point out their kids, similarly with love we are to create the requisite circumstantial pressure so those who are very, very close to us - margiis, Wts, laokik relations, colleagues, and other respected persons etc - can mend their ways.

Ananda Marga ideology states, "If our own person or relative deviates from the truth or is lacking sincerity, oppose him, do not tolerate him. It does not matter if he is our own relative. If our own person is dishonest and insincere then he is more dangerous. Why? If there is a snake outside it is dangerous, but if a snake comes inside the house it is more dangerous. Therefore he [our close person] should be opposed more strongly." (1)

Ananda Marga ideology states, अपना आदमी हो, घर का आदमी हो ; कोई सत्य से इधर-उधर हट गया, sincerity की कमी जिनमें है—उसका विरोध करो, बर्दाश्त मत करो | अपना आदमी है तो क्या है | अपना आदमी अगर असाधु है, insincere है, तो, और भी अधिक ख़तरनाक है | क्यों ? बाहर में अगर साँप रहा, वह जितना ख़तरनाक है, घर में अगर साँप घुस गया तो और भी अधिक ख़तरनाक है | इसलिए, और भी, उसका अधिक विरोध होना चाहिए |” 1

Thus in His above guideline Baba explains that bad elements in society are dangerous, but bad elements inside your house - inside your organisation - are more dangerous. Do not tolerate them - oppose them.

WT Conduct rules on black money

By their tactics, Ramashrayananda has certainly contravened Guru's teachings and conduct rules on black money. Following are Baba's mandates for wholetime workers:

This entire matter of putting Baba’s photo under the dogmatic Hindu deity continues here. This concerns the sanctity of Ista and is fundamental to safeguarding the sanctity of Guru’s photo. On this point there has to be cent-per-cent strictness. The sanctity of Guru’s photo should never be violated. And one way we see people violating this rule is by placing Guru’s pratikriti in a lower place. We should follow the fundamental of Ananda Marga ideology.

Moreover, Caryacarya guides us that sadhakas of the Marga are to have maximum regard for Guru’s pratikrti [photo] as well.

Ananda Marga philosophy teaches us, “You shall protect, in all respects and at all costs, the dignity of your treasures and the sanctity of...the pratikrti [photo] of Márga Guru.” 1

Ananda Marga ideology says, "Trtiiyaḿ gurupújanam. I must have reverence for the guru. What is the guru? Gu means “darkness”, that is, darkness in the psycho-spiritual sphere. And ru means “dispelling agent”. That is, he who dispels darkness from my psychic and spiritual body is the guru. Gu means “darkness”, ru means “dispeller”. “Trtiiyaḿ gurupújanam. That is, you must have respect for the guru." 3

It is very sad that some member of our Wt cadre are unable to follow this most foundational and fundamental code of tantra: Respect for Guru.

In our Ananda Marga, Sadguru Baba has an unparalleled place; as the Mahasambhuti He is above all.

Caryacarya guides us, "The one formless, beginningless and infinite Parama Brahma (Supreme Consciousness) is the only entity to be attained by living beings – That alone is Jagat Guru (the Supreme preceptor), That alone has revealed Brahmavidyá (intuitional science) to us through the medium of the name and form of Anandamúrtijii. Unit beings must be made to appreciate Its majesty." 1

And when Baba is the most Supreme One, then every true disciple will have maximum respect and reverence for Him. Unfortunately, look at the below scene that took place.

Sinful deed to humiliate Baba


This is the report of one dance program at a large public venue. The organisers and hosts built a shrine / puja table and placed a huge 3-D figure of dancing Hindu deity.
And Baba’s photo has been placed under the feet of that Hindu deity to humiliate Baba and Ananda Marga. This was done by fundamentalist Hindu under the direction of a few avadhutas.

(a) On the very top there is a Hindu deity encircled by a golden arch.
(b) Baba’s photo is below the Hindu deity.
(c) The feet of the Hindu deity are on Baba’s head.
(d) This display was purposely done to show that Baba is controlled by the Hindu deity. So Baba’s status is under the feet of the Hindu deity.
(e) To the left and right of Baba’s photo, there are two women figures who are worshiping the Hindu deity with Hindu rituals - holding sweets and lamps.
(f) By this way, the Hindu deity is all-powerful and Baba is under this deity.
(g) This was all done to show that the Guru of Ananda Marga is far inferior to Hindu dogma.




Baba’s photo is placed in such a way as to humiliate Him. This was all done at a reception where the majority of attendees were Hindus. See below how the feet of the Hindu deity are on Baba’s head. This is a sign of of gross humiliation. Those organisers want all to accept the greatness of this Hindu deity. This whole situation is unfortunate. Shockingly, all this was done under the direction of Ac Shankarananda Avt who was the ringleader. While many other Dadas followed his lead. These degraded souls participated in this sin, i.e. this disdainful act to Guru because they were promised a large sum of money by the organisers. With that greed, these degraded avadhutas accepted this public humiliation of Baba and Ananda Marga. And they allowed the superiority of the dogmatic Hindu deity to be highlighted. This is the way it has been displayed - see here. It is qutie disgraceful and painful to see how our own avadhutas encouraged such things for the greed of a few pennies.  By this way, those Hindus in attendance were pleased by that display that showed Shrii Shrii Anandamurtiji as an ordinary pseudo-guru who is surrendering under the feet of the great Hindu deity.

Ananda Marga philosophy says, “You shall protect, in all respects and at all costs, the dignity of your treasures and the sanctity of...the pratikrti [photo] of Márga Guru.” 2

Those who contravene Guru’s teachings will have to face the grave consequences as they have committed sin by insulting Guru.

Not publish Baba’s photo in newspaper

Note: This letter is only for those who have reverence for Guru and try to follow His guideline.

Namaskar,
DC Dada submitted Baba’s photo to newspaper editors so it could be published in their paper. When many margiis raised the concern that it is against the sanctity of Ista to print His photo in the newspaper, then DC Dada invented his own theory to justify what he did. Please read the following.

Dadaji wrote: "When Baba fought with top level administration when He was put in jail, and came out victorious, the whole media wanted to know about Him. and also common people. Baba's contributions to humanity in innumerable fields made Him a mystery and so it was natural the people, especially intellectuals would become curious about Him. So He was approached to allow to print His photograph in Prout in Nutshell series, which was to be printed and after due consideration."

My response to Dadaji


As everyone is aware, Baba came out of jail in 1978 and the Prout in a Nutshell series was published in 1987 - a nine year gap. So Dadaji is terribly mixing up two vastly different incidents and time periods. Yet he is talking as if he is an expert on this matter.

All in all, it seems that Dadaji has no idea what he is talking about. He is trying to portray himself as being someone very knowledgeable and great, but the exact opposite has happened. Because Dadaji has made a grave error again and again by repeatedly submitting Guru’s photo to the newspaper editors for publication, thereby undermining and spoiling the sanctity of Guru's image.

Ananda Marga philosophy states, "You shall protect, in all respects and at all costs, the dignity of your treasures and the sanctity of your flag, of your emblem, and of the pratikrti [photo] of Márga Guru.” (1)

Per Caryacarya, Dadaji should admit his mistake, apologize, and ask for punishment.

Caryacarya guides us, "...If there is even a little fault in you, you should keep your mouth closed and accept it all, and you should thank the person for pointing out your fault and ask for punishment." (2)

Ananda Marga philosophy says, "Due to carelessness, if any mistake has been committed unknowingly or unconsciously, one must admit it immediately and ask for punishment." (3)

It is sad that thus far Dadaji has been unwilling to admit his mistake of giving Baba’s photo for publication in the newspaper. For this he should come forward, apologize, and ask for punishment.

Here is the fifth part of this series of the discussion between Shrii Narayan Panda (BP, Vishakapatnam) and Acarya Bhaskarananda Avt. For your easy reference, links to earlier letters are appended below.

As a reminder, thus far in the series, Dada Bhaskarananda has stated:
- "Ba'ba' gave Proutist Bengal because He wanted that Prout should first be established in Bengal and then in other areas."
- "What Bengal thinks today, India & others think tomorrow. So PROUT will be established in Bengal first and then it will be spread to other areas."
- "After all, Ba'ba' supported Bengal so much. Shabda Cayanika was given in Bengali, Baba lived in Bengal after 1980 when the organisation was big, Prabhat Samgiita was given in Bengali."

Such were the justifications given by Dadaji. In response, Shrii Narayan Panda has presented logic and reasoning to demonstrate that Baba is not partial to Bengal and the Amara Bengali samaj. Baba has equal love for all samajas of the globe. Secondly, it was demonstrated that Shabda Cayanika is an investigation into the Sanskrit language, not Bengali. Verily the publishers themselves admit that Shabda Cayanika is based on Sanskrit.

Ananda Marga philosophy states, "Guru in the Vedic language is derived gur + un; in later Sanskrit as gu + ru. The contents of this chapter consists of an elaboration on the word Gurusakásha. The author's discourse on that day entailed linguistic discussion of a number of Sanskrit terms; the discussion of each term became an entry in the author's linguistic encyclopedia Shabda Cayaniká (“Collection of Words”). –Eds." (1)


Neo-humanism condemns groupism

Plus the vast majority of Baba's discourses were given originally in Hindi; and, Baba wrote Prabhat Samgiita in Bengali to show us that artists and poets should write in the local language.

The conversation continued and Dada Bhaskarananda stated that he joined B group in order to please and satisfy Baba. But then it was shown that all Baba's teachings of neo-humanism condemn all sorts of groupism - in which case how can one think that they will please Guru by joining a group. No rational margii can think in this manner.

Pandaji replied that we should not rely on hearsay; rather we should consult Baba's printed ideological discourses to know His position on a given topic. Blindly relying on concocted stories is not the proper way. Again, links to all prior letters are appended below.

Finally in the prior section, Dada Bhaskaranandji put forth two claims:
1. The Bengali should absolutely be named as the original language of every discourse.
2. In those discourses which Baba delivered in English, He employed a simple, even broken English to cater to the standard of those in the audience. Yet who can believe such a statement when Baba Himself has delivered in-depth discourses on microvita using such sophisticated languages that even university professors cannot comprehend.

Dada Bhaskarananda's two claims

At the end of the prior letter, Dada Bhaskarananda is making a few false claims:
1) That it is the rule for Publications Dept to translate all discourses first into Bengali and use that as the original.

Review: So Dada Bhaskarananda's claim is that a discourse originally given by Baba in English should be translated into Bengali and then re-translated back to English and then printed. But by this way the originality of Baba's discourse is gone. Best is to simply transcribe Baba's spoken English into written English. What is the need to translate an English discourse to Bengali when the goal is to first print it in English.

Another scenario is for that same English discourse to be translated into Bengali and then translate that Bengali into Spanish. Rational people will easily understand that it should be translated directly from English into Spanish. Whereas people suffering from the dogma of Bangalisation will want the English discourse translated into Bengali first and then into Spanish.

Yet another case is if Baba has delivered His discourse originally in Hindi, then accordingly it is to be translated into Bengali which then becomes the so-called original language, or "master" text, from which it is translated into English and then finally into other languages. And then those at the helm of publications will write in the preface of the each book: "Translated from the original Bengali."

That is Dada Bhaskarananda's first claim - that always Bengali should serve as the "original" or "master" language for all publications, regardless of what language Baba spoke. And this point shall be discussed in greater detail in the ensuing letter(s).

Now here is Dada Bhaskarananda's second outrageous claim:
2) That those who attended DMC were of a lowly standard so Baba used "peasant" English to communicate with them. Hence it was necessary to put English discourses into Bengali and then translate that Bengali back into proper English. The next installment shall address the aforementioned claim.

It is most unfortunate that some of our Dadas / Wts have taken to posting photos of themselves on the internet that blatantly contravene their own avadhuta conduct rules.

WT conduct rule states, "Avadhuta must not remain in a lonely place with any female." (32 Rules for Avadhuta, point #13)

Yet see below this photo of Dada Ramashrayananda alone in the room with one female. And Dada Ramashrayananda has posted this photo of him and this lady on his Facebook page.

By seeing the photo it is obvious---WT conduct rule states, "Avadhuta must not remain in a lonely place with any female." ….

Sadly this Dadaji has a long history of alleged xxxxx misconduct in overseas sectors and perhaps it is this xxxx behaviour that spoiled his mind whereby he thinks it is ok to have xxxx relations.

Our Dadas should post photos & those photos should only be of our Ananda Marga service projects etc. And those photos should be posted to inspire others to support the great cause - i.e. bhagavad dharma and welfare to universal humanity.

WT conduct rule states, "Avadhuta shall always keep himself engaged in the service of Gurudeva with sincerity and devotion, in thought, words and deed, in subtle and in crude spheres, in inner and outer expressions of life." (Rule no. 28 of 32 Rules for Avadhutas)

Sadguru Baba guides us that history is very important and vital for human progress and that one must know the history and learn from it. Otherwise the same mistakes will be repeated over and over again. Here then is some of the relevant history concerning Dada Ramashrayananda. This above history of Dada Ramashrayananda's dealings in GT sector was initially posted on 16 March 2009.

History: xxxx conduct of Dada Ramashrayananda

1. As many will recall, Dada Ramashrayananda has a long history of xxxx conduct with females but he keeps himself above water by allegedly paying big money to his boss Dada Rudrananda in Ranchi. In turn, they give him the green light to do as he pleases. So long as Dada gives them money, he will live under the protection and shelter of his groupist leaders.

2. It is alleged that Dada Ramashrayananda was recently transferred [year 2009] from the Cordoba master unit (Argentina) and in that process Ramashrayananda secretly sold part of the MU land, kept the money, and bought himself a big house in Cordoba city. Dada Ramashrayananda was not punished at all for this since he allegedly gave a big chunk of money to Ranchi Administration, i.e. Dada Rudrananda. Plus Dada Ramashrayananda allegedly used some of his "earnings" to augment his already huge personal bank account in India.


Baba's rule: do not sell Ananda Marga land

3. Selling master unit land in this manner is totally against the values of Ananda Marga. Baba was very strict that Ananda Marga land should not be sold at all, let alone sold secretly by one tricky Dada who keeps the money for himself. But when groupism abounds, then all the rules and regulations of dharma are lost.

4. [2009] It is alleged that so-called Dada Ramashrayananda is sitting with his xxxx in Oran, a small city outside of Cordoba (Argentina). There is no man in the house, other than "Dadaji". So it is just our Dada, his xxxxx  - no one else.

To keep everyone happy and his xxx life active, this degenerated Dada allegedly brought lots of exotic gifts from India for his xxxx. They were quite honoured by being lavished in this way. In turn, this young xxxx is pleasing him in all kinds of ways and escorting him around town.

Unfortunately, nobody can question Ramashrayananda with any authority because Ranchi Admin - i.e. Dada Rudrananda - is in his hand. So this so-called Dada is just allegedly going everywhere with her, arm-in arm. And he has the blessings of his boss, Dada Rudrananda. No margii can complain in any direction. Such is how groupism spoils things.

5. Ramashrayananda even went to Wt didi's place without her permission, allegedly. When Wt didi opposed, then he threatened to kick her out. He said, "The margiis are in my hand and if I tell them to kick you out, they will do it!".

Wt didi was afraid because she knows that Dada Rudrananda protects him, i.e. Dada Ramashrayananda. But she knows the acarya conduct rules also, so she is aware that this Dada is completely adharmic. Indeed, Dada Ramashrayananda fails to follow so many of Baba's dictates for Wts.

Baba says, "One should not look at the face of the opposite sex." ('37 Workers Rules', Point #15)

Baba says, "A'vadhuta shall treat every woman of the world, including his ex-wife, as mother." ('32 Rules for Avadhuta, Point #11)

Baba says, "A'vadhuta must not remain in lonely place with any female." ('32 Rules for Avadhuta, Point #13)

Baba says, "A'vadhuta should not initiate any female." ('32 Rules for Avadhuta, Point #14)

Wt didiji knew what was going on was wrong; she understood that Dada Ramashrayananda was not an acarya in the true sense of the word, but she was concerned since Ranchi supports him 100%, regardless of his behavior.

6. So she left the house morning and came back evening. She had to be on the road whole day. It seems like when the Kaoravas were in the power they did not have any respect of women. What a pitiful time. These days are no better it seems.

Our very own  Wt didi had to run away from her own place in order to protect herself from this wild Dada. Is this not awful?

False things in Marga H. magazine

In a recent issue of the Ananda Yuga magazine, the publishers printed an image that associated our dharmic Ananda Marga sadhana system with all kinds of dogmas from the fake yoga movement. To see this on one of the pages of our very own Ananda Marga magazine is really quite shocking and disturbing as it is a complete and utter misrepresentation of Sadguru Baba’s teachings.

Here in point-wise fashion are some of the many dogmas presented in the photo / image on page 15 (issue #3, year 36) of the Ananda Yuga magazine.

Dogma #1: OM Sign - The sadhaka is depicted as meditating on the “om letter” in the sahasrara cakra. This is 100% wrong and a product of the fake yoga movement.

Dogma #2: OM Sign - The sadhaka is depicted as meditating on the “om letter” in the ajina cakra. This is 100% wrong and a product of the fake yoga movement.

Dogma #3: Backwards Posture - In the image, the meditator has his legs backwards, i.e. against the Ananda Marga system. According to Caryacarya, when doing padmasana, the right leg will go on the left thigh first, and then the left leg is placed on the right thigh. But the exact opposite is shown in the image in the Ananda Yuga magazine.

Dada G. selling out to pseudo-culture

In all circumstances our aim is to preach and demonstrate Ananda Marga ideology: To teach genuine points of bhagavad dharma - not compromise with the ways of fake yoga etc. The entire world is waiting for something great to happen, i.e. to receive the teachings of Sadguru. Yet here we see our Ananda Yuga editor Ac Guniindrananda jii selling-out and surrendering to fake yoga.

By failing to live up to the ideal of our Ananda Marga ideology, Ac Guniindrananda jii is verily depriving humanity of dharmic teachings. Dadaji’s duty is to spread dharma but instead he is propagating fake yoga.

Baba created Ananda Marga to save this situation but this Dada is getting caught up in the winds of fake yoga. Ac Guniindrananda jii blatantly contradicts his conduct rules and vows, and undermines Sadguru’s teachings by selecting and placing this fake yoga image on page 15 (issue #3, year 36) of the Ananda Yuga magazine

Baba says, "Padma'sana (lotus posture): Place the right foot on the left thigh and the left foot on the right thigh. Clench the jaws and press the tongue against the roof of the mouth. You can maintain this posture as long as you like." (Caryacarya)
