Nowadays, some persons, but especially those in the Kolkata faction, are observing and paying tributes to Ac Asiimananda jii on the anniversary of the day he was brutally murdered by CPM goons. Similarly, Odia speaking margiis are paying homage to Ac Divyananda ji on the anniversary of his death etc. Yet Baba has prescribed Dadhiici Divas on 5th March as the sole day each year for observing the sacrifices of all the various dadhiicis.

Every Ananda Margii knows that Baba has given a single day to honour all who sacrificed for the great cause of bhagavad dharma. Baba has guided us that all dadhiicis should be commemorated on 05 March, not any other day. So only March 5th is the day of Dadhiici Divas.

Declaring April 2 as the annual extra day of Dadhicii Divas, as is being observed in the above image, goes against Baba's command. According to Baba, there is only one Dadhiici Divas and that is on March 5. Baba says Asiimanandaji's sacrifice is to be remembered on that day. The 5th of March is the one day to commemorate all those who sacrificed for bhagavad dharma (Ananda Marga). Allotting any other day for their sacrifices is dogma. We should follow Sadguru Baba's guideline on Dadahiici Divas.

Opportunistic way to collect money and live
The problem at hand is that certain Dadas are creating fake shraddhanushthan, i.e. alternate Dadhiici Divas gatherings. So we have to get a behind-the-scenes look at why all these ritualistic dogmas are being created. The reply is because those propagating this dogma do not themselves follow Baba’s do’s and don’ts, rules and regulations etc. So they do not feel inspired or interested in teaching those practices to others. After all, to properly guide sadhakas on points of dharma, and create new people to bring into Ananda Marga, is a very difficult job. The easiest way to survive and gain power and prestige is to adopt the old religious way: Create and invent new rituals so that the days and months are filled with countless programs and events. That offers the greatest opportunity for those religious cheats to collect money and “live happily”. That is why nearly every day there is some type of ritual or program and that makes money fall from the sky. That is their motive behind the creation of such rituals.
The leader’s tendency is to create more and more and more dogmas. So everyone must be alert and watch out. Dada Asiimanandji’s death day - i.e. annual shraddhanushthan - is that kind of program that Baba strictly forbids. Dadhiici Divas is one and Dada Asiimananda ji is a dadhiici so his sacrifice will be remembered – along with all the other Dadhiicis - on 05 Mar. That is Baba’s guideline.

Baba allotted only one day for Dadhiici
Actually this type of issue first came up after the 30th April massacre at Bijon Setu, Kolkata. That time many Wts requested Baba to change Dadhiici Divas from 5th March to 30th April. They reasoned that only 5 were killed on 5th March, whereas 17 were murdered on 30th April.
Baba gave His reply. He told that keeping Dadhiici Divas on 5th March is proper – all will be honoured on that date. So everyone understood the spirit and letter of Baba’s response. There were no more questions. 5th of March is the fixed date for observing Dadhiici Divas, regardless of any other past or future events.
The only thing that does happen on 30th April is a protest. But that is not a remembrance or honouring of the murdered Wts, nor is it called as Dadhiici Divas or Dadhiici Divas #2. Nor was mass feeding done there before 1990. That protest is done because still the case has not been resolved.
The request by Dadas to change the date to 30th April is very similar to the situation with the Jain religion. The Jains did not have any social service projects so they misdirected their entire wealth, time, energy, and resources in constructing temples because they did not know what to do other than that. Similarly, when some in AMPS do not have any committed work or social service project in mind, then they think every single sacrifice should be observed independently. Then there will be a maximum days for ritualistic Dadhiici Divas programs. To understand why should we observe only one day, March 5 as Dadhiici Divas, and not any other day, please keep reading.

The question then is should the 38 sadhakas, who sacrificed their life for bhagavad dharma, be celebrated on the anniversary of their death or on one common day. Some purodhas and naive margiis are suggesting that all 38 death day anniversaries should be observed at the exact location where they sacrificed in the following way:
(a) To earn money, 38 tombs should be made - one at each of the locations;
(b) To earn money, 38 statues should be erected - one at each of the locations;
(c) To cheat in order to get money, each of the 38 statues should be honoured annually on the death day anniversary at their own location;
(d) To earn money, mass feeding and various other programs should be arranged on a grand scale on all 38 days at each of the locations;
(e) To earn money, all margiis around the globe should contribute financially to each of the 37 Dadhiici programs at each of the locations;
(f) To swindle money at least once in a life every margii should visit each of the 38 places to show respect;
(g) To get money this type of memorial day has already been started to honour Ac. Asiimananda Avt on 2nd April at the location where he sacrificed;
(h) To fall in dogma, around the globe for each of the 37 anniversary days, people should do half-day fasting;
(i) To earn money schools and colleges and govt stations will be closed on these 38 death day anniversaries so people can participate in gatherings at least one of the locations;
(j) By this way we can maximally befool others and honour those who sacrificed at each of the locations, and fill up our pocket;
(k) Moving on this path we can fill up our black account without any hard work.

In the last few years, H group has added this new dogma: The annual death ceremony of Ac Asiimananda Avt, and other Dadas like Ac Divyananda ji and Ac Dinesvarananda ji. It is often seen that at DMS in Jamalpur in March, they collect donations from sadhakas and wts so they could do mass feeding and clothing distribution in honour of the anniversary day of the death of Asiimanandji on 02 April.

AM is not path of tomb
In many countries there is a certain selected day to honor the fallen such as veterans day or soldier’s day etc. On other points they may commit so many wrongs, but on this point they are correct. If every day that a soldier dies is observed or celebrated, then the entire year will pass in this way – one day of observance after the next.
Remember, Ananda Marga is not the path of sadness characterised by commemorating dead people everyday. This is the path of bliss. Certainly we must remember those who sacrificed for bhagavad dharma. And this is to be done once in a year for all those who sacrificed, not daily on a case by case basis.
So we must be cautious that such things are not done separately on different days for Ac Asiimananda Avt, Ac Diineshvarananda Avt, Ac Divyananda Avt, or Ac Atulananda Avt etc. We must not fall in that ditch.
Only those not aware of Baba’s teachings are singing the song that everyday should be the observance of someone’s annual death-day ceremony.
What about future countless Dadhiicis
We all know that Baba has graciously given 05 March as the singular day to honour and recognise the sacrifice of all dadhiicis. Baba wants all dadhiicis to be celebrated and honoured on the same day. So many have sacrificed and given their lives for Ananda Marga ideology, i.e. for the great cause of bhagavad dharma, and all should be remembered each year on 05 March. That is the official day of Dadhiici Divas as given by Baba. It is very curious why anyone would even think to observe other dates like April 2, April 9, June 14, Aug 20, Sep 29, and Dec 02 etc.
Ultimately, ours is a man-making mission. Our duty is to follow Ananda Marga ideology and Baba. To this end, there are diverse and dynamic plans and programs to manifest. We have to serve suffering humanity in so many ways. That will all be put on hold if we start observing multiple Dadhiici Divas celebrations each year; that would start a trend whereby soon there will be 365 days of Dadhiici Divas celebrations. Because in the future there will be more great battles for dharma and sadhakas will sacrifice their lives. The time will come when at least one dadhiici has sacrificed on every day of the year. Then each day of the year will be Dadhiici Divas. Clearly, this is not what we should do.
Sadguru Baba formed AMPS to propagate Ananda Marga philosophy but those at the helm are preaching useless, old ways of the outdated religions. They just want to befool innocent people and suck their blood to survive. The youth of the world is hungry for a new ideology and a new way of living based on the principles of neo-humanism, meditation, and spirituality etc. But today’s AMPS leaders are worthless, archaic, and outdated. The are unfit to carry the banner of AM ideology and unable to transform the entire society as Baba wants. Their condition is just like that of the heron which cannot sing like a mockingbird. Similarly, these big Dada have the duty to propagate Ananda Marga philosophy but have no clue about how to do that, so they just end up copying and emulating the ways of religious cheats.

Also on the 13th Dec in Baripada in Mayurbhanj district margiis of Odisha have been observing this as Padarpan Divas because on this particular day Baba came there to conduct DMC there. It seems margiis are showing more interest in conducting such programmes rather than observing Baba’s given functions / festivals like shradotsava, local new year's day etc. By this manner, step by step, the time will come when all 365 days of the year will be for observing various festivals / functions, instead of following what Baba has given in Caryacarya.

In the above image, it refers to Dada Asiimananda as a Proutist, and here is the reply. Dada Asiimananda as a great Proutist but it should be clarified that he was not posted in Prout but in Farm Department. However, in a general way just as every margii and Wt is Proutist and a member of VSS, it is ok to refer to Dada Asiimananda as Proutist. After all, every true Ananda Margii has to perform all the seva and serve in every way.
Although in the above image they wrote Dadhicii Divas, the proper spelling is Dadhiici Divas. The double “ii” comes before the “c”, not after it.
Alternative spelling: Dadhiici Divas, Dadhicii Divas, Dadhici Divas, Dadheecee Divas, Dadheeci Divas.

We should not get involved in sin of annually observing death anniversary of Dada Asiimanandji on 02 April and never donate cash or kind for such rituals either. A few ignorant margiis and Purodhas who do not know Baba’s teachings or Ananda Marga ideology have been misguided on this matter.
Some are asking for Dadhiici Divas of Dada Asiimananda ji, Dada Divyananda ji, Dada Dinesvarananda ji, and Didi Asitiima, and Ac. Abhipremananda Avt etc. If we open the floodgates, then AMPS will be transformed into Dadhiici Marga because each and every day will be the memorial of a particular Dada who died on that day.
Commemorating Dadhiici Divas yearly on 5th March and observing an annual death day ceremony are not the same thing.
