Baba
Great purodha Candranath ji
Namaskar,
The following scans are a letter by Ac. Candranath ji in his own handwriting wherein he is expressing his support of Mahaprayan Divas (MPD). More specifically, a meeting was held in Patna on 22 October 1995, and up to that time Ac. Candranath ji was fully in favour of mahaprayan. The below scanned letter is in Hindi, and on the very first page Ac. Candranath ji is stating his unbridled support for mahaprayan.

Behind the scenes
This issue came to the fore because Shrii Shrish ji of Buxar vehemently opposed the notion of holding an annual death ceremony, i.e. mahaprayan, whereby Sadguru Baba is treated as a mere mortal. He felt the mahaprayan programme was an insult to Guru.
In response, Candranath ji staunchly defended the annual occasion of mahaprayan and said that it was not like the Hindu dogma as we are not requesting that the deceased’s soul should get a place in heaven. This is the way Candranath ji supported MPD.
It is well known that Candranath ji was a strong advocate and defender of MPD. Later on, when most started opposing MPD then he completely somersaulted. The study of history is very important as it provides a unique look into the past.

In the below document, in his own handwriting, Ac. Candranath ji is vociferously supporting MPD dogma and condemning those margiis who were opposing the dogma of mahaprayan.

This above Hindi letter shows how Ac Candranath ji was arrogant and dogmatic. And as is evident, the above Hindi letter was personally written by Ac. Candranath in his own handwriting and was addressed to Shrii Shrish ji of Buxar.

Takeaway
#1: When any dharmic issue becomes established and victorious then meek people also want to say they were with this movement since ages.
#2: But when the fight is still going on then nobody comes forward in support. However, when victory is achieved then all those meek folks who were hiding and supporting the sin of MPD come forward and say, "I did not like it and from the beginning I was strong opponent of MPD."
#3: That is why the historical record is very important.
#4: The above scans are highly significant as Ac Chandranath himself in his own handwriting is supporting MPD dogma and he is furious with the circular writer, i.e. Shrii Shrish Chandra Jaiswal who raised his voice against the MPD dogma.

#5: These days some propagate that Chandranath ji was opposing MPD dogma from the very beginning. But here we all have proof of the situation.
#6: Baba says that history is very important - people should know the truth.
Note: We only have pages 1,2, & 4. If you have page #3 kindly let us know.
Conclusion
It is well known that Ac. Candranath ji was a strong advocate and defender of MPD. Later on, when most started opposing MPD then he completely somersaulted. The study of history is very important as it provides a unique look into the past.

Ananda Marga philosophy states, "Lord Krsna came about 3500 years ago, when the war of the Mahabharata took place. People's individual qualities then had not taken a collective shape. People did not know the art of living collectively...they fought among themselves because they had no collective sense. Lord Krsna thought that if He combined all there would be collective spirit in the true sense of the term. Then alone all human faculties would get expanded. He tried to make people understand, but they did not understand, because there was no collective spirit in them...to synthesize them all Lord Krsna was born. Lord Krsna wanted to bring about a social synthesis, the seed of which was sown by Lord Shiva." (1)
Note: There are many things in the world which cannot be solved individually. It needs collective support. In any society where there is collective spirit then they can do a great job. That is the central idea of the above teaching.
