B group's religious deception + 2 more

B group's religious deception

Namaskar,

The Tiljala annual mahaprayan program / tomb worship / shraddháinjali is a grand business - an industry all to itself.

Annual mahaprayan is a grand business

The Tiljala annual mahaprayan function / tomb worship / shraddháinjali is similar to the financial empire built upon the dogmatic shráddhaceremonies of Hinduism. In the name of shráddha so many commodities are bought and sold. All kinds of persons profit from this ceremony: Priests, businesses, suppliers, manufacturers, workers etc. Plus there are numerous big and small firms involved in this money-making operation within the Hindu religion. It is a veritable racket.

In the city of Gaya, almost the entire income and profits are generated via the shráddhaceremonies. Priests make enough money in the month of August to support themselves year-round. There are so many exploiters involved in keeping this shráddhaindustry running. They are all in cahoots with one another and profit off the common people, i.e. those families grieving the loss of their loved one.

Religious trading is common in India - particularly in places like Deoghar, Ayodhya, Varanasi, and Puri. Their economy is wholly dominated by religious trading; by this way those cities make exorbitant sums of money. Over the generations, so many good people - even saints and rishis - raised their voice against the annual shráddhadogma and exploitation, but they could not do anything. They could not put a dent in the armour as those exploiters are very powerful.

Now we see the same thing generating in Ananda Marga Pracaraka Samgha. The so-called mahaprayan (MPD) / shraddháinjali industry is a monstrosity where numerous wts, vendors, sellers, and merchants reap their profits up to the sky. They want to continue this up to eternity and spend their days validating this dogmatic annual program in order to keep themselves in business.

Tiljala's appeal: donate liberally to this "noble" cause

Here is one dramatic example: From beginning to end it is all about money, money, money. They literally want every unit, every bhukti pradhan to engage in a grand fundraising scheme - and have all monies sent to Tiljala. Whether you are attending this event or not, they want you to donate liberally for this “noble cause."

So the issue is two-fold. They want you to generously donate for an event even if you are not attending. Secondly, the entire mahaprayan / tomb worship / shraddháinjali program is based on dogma. As dharmikas, as adherents of Ananda Marga ideology, as disciples of Lord Shrii Shrii Anandamurtiji, this is not something true margiis can support - neither morally nor financially. Because it is against the pre-1990 edition of Caryacarya.

Then there is this aspect. The real reason Tiljala is so anxious for your money is because this is their flagship fundraising event for their court cases and other group agendas.

Their request for money for the annual mahaprayan / tomb worship / shraddháinjali program represents a major portion of their annual income - and Tiljala is the epicenter of this money-making campaign. Yet, once they get their money, there is no system to see how the funds are used. They must publish a yearly financial statement on-line for all to see that has been audited by an independent, licensed accountant. That is the standard protocol in any civilised society. But they do not do this.

Similar to the haj

All told, what is happening with their annual mahaprayan / death ceremony / tomb worship / shraddháinjali / shráddhaprogram is similar to the Haj industry in Islam. Religious traders rally round and invent new and newer ways of generating profits from this pilgrimage. Nowadays it is a multi-billion dollar industry - everything from hotel rooms to taxi cab rides and everything in between. And the ones who make the most are the priests.

The same type of economic structure has been built around the annual mahaprayan / tomb worship / shraddháinjali program in our Ananda Marga Pracaraka Samgha.

Remember the program of mahaprayan / tomb worship / shraddháinjali / shráddhaceremony must not be done for Sadguru Baba because He did not depart. Baba is the Guru of every Ananda Margii - people initiated yesterday, today and tomorrow also. But someone who is dead cannot be the Guru. Sadguru Baba is the eternal Parama Purusa. So the mahaprayan is only for regular humans, i.e. mortals. Thus to apply the mahaprayan / shraddháinjali ceremony to Sadguru Baba - is sinful. And doing this dogmatic tomb worship / mahaprayan annually is the worst type of sin. It is not even supposed to be done annually for mortal beings.

Religious imposters

Ananda Marga scripture guides us, “Their one intention is to fill their pockets with money, but they publicly pronounce that they want to follow the gospels of Dharma. Oh human beings, beware of these impostors. Try to apply your power of discrimination to know who are your friends and who are your foes. You should never allow yourselves to fall victim to these political and religious traders." (1)

Ananda Marga scripture guides us, "In most cases religions took advantage of human weaknesses, crippled the people’s rationality, and sapped their strength, thus facilitating their exploitation by the religious traders. When the vitality and strength of the masses remains unexpressed, the exploiters will be able to exploit them in the economic and other spheres of life for a long time with relative ease. In the annals of human history it can be seen in all ages that the various exploiters were the patrons and the preachers of religion." (2)

Muslim tomb worship & annual mahaprayan

Below is an example of tomb worship performed by islamic worshipers. They are facing the tomb with open palms and performing their ritual of worship. The red tomb along the right side of the photo is surrounded by yellow and orange flowers. In addition, there are flowers on top of the tomb. Their annual mahaprayan / tomb worship / shraddháinjali ritual goes on for six days according to Islamic custom.
http://anandamarganewsbulletin.blogspot.com

The Tiljala tomb worship / mahasamadhi / shraddháinjali /annual mahaprayan is also done with various rituals & prayers. So in the Islamic tradition and the Tiljala invention, both are doing tomb worship - which is not supported by pre-1990 Caryacarya. And for Tiljala this took birth after ‘90. And now, because of this tomb worship dogma, Ananda Marga became a religion. Before ‘90 it was dharma.

Tomb worship is not mentioned in CC

Those who are sincere margiis and wts should rationally analyse the situation. When tomb worship is not mentioned anywhere in pre-1990 Caryacarya then why are we allowing this tomb worship ritual year after year.

And here below we can see how in Tiljala they have implemented that same Islamic tradition by encircling the tomb as they perform their tomb worship during their annual mahaprayan / shraddháinjali program etc. See the below photo courtesy of Tiljala Publications.

Conclusion

The use of the annual mahaprayan / tomb worship / shraddháinjali / shráddhaprogram for Taraka Brahma Parama Purusa is a dogma. There is no mahaprayan mentioned anywhere in the Caryacarya given by Sadguru then why are we allowing this tomb worship ritual year after year.

Tiljala deception

As Ananda Margiis, we are to abide by the codes outlined in Caryacarya. Unfortunately, B group’s mourning ceremony - i.e. annual death day gathering - is a complete contravention of Caryacarya on numerous fronts.

How Tiljala’s mourning ceremony is anti-Caryacarya

(A) Ananda Marga Caryacarya states, "The period of mourning should not extend beyond twelve days." (3)

In His above teaching, Baba guides us that the period of mourning is 12 days, yet, Tilajala has been mourning on a yearly basis for 29 years.

(B) Ananda Marga Caryacarya states, “Shráddhánna: Shráddhánna (food offered at a memorial service) is neither priityanna nor ápadanna, hence it is not to be taken.” (4)

In His above teaching, Baba guides us it is forbidden to eat food at a death ceremony, yet every year Tiljala serves food and presents a feast at their mourning ceremony / wake for the last 29 years. Every Ananda Margii who eats food at that wake / mourning gathering is going against Baba’s strict order.

(C) B group has tainted Caryacarya part 1 by adding a bogus appendix about their mourning gathering. See the contradiction. Baba’s original Caryacarya states that the period of mourning is 12 days, while B group’s inserted appendix states that their mourning period will go on and on, indefinitely.

(D) B group engages in duplicity and deception by promoting kiirtana at their annual death ceremony. By this way they may lure attendees. But everyone should be extremely vigilant because by participating in that mourning program kiirtan you are directly supporting that cause.

Conclusion

For all these reasons and more, this mourning ceremony is a complete contravention of Caryacarya and the cult of bhakti. Click on the link below  if you wish to see B group’s recent message calling for people to attend this event.

Everyone should beware because attending their mourning ceremony means supporting that cause and going against Baba’s guideline.

See B group’s invitation

Tiljala is using their typical bait tactic for alluring attendees; they want maximum attendees is to make maximum money. To see the invitation posted by the Tiljala messenger Tanmayananda, kindly click on the link appended below.

We need humans not buildings

Ananda Marga philosophy states, "While dharma in the true sense of the term is based on logic and the realizations of great sádhakas [spiritual aspirants], religion, or dharmamata, is based entirely on irrational blind faith. So religions are always sheltered within dogma. While the propagation of dharma goes on spontaneously, for the propagation and establishment of dogma-based religions, the financial power of the vaeshyas [capitalists] and the intellectual prowess of the vipras [intellectuals] is inevitably needed. What we observe from the history of humankind is that the religions which have come so far have, without exception, taken shelter under the wings of capitalism. While money has been spent lavishly for the construction of beautiful places of worship, money has never been arranged for food, clothing, housing, education and medical care for the welfare of the poor. While for four full years all the state revenues of Orissa were spent for the construction of the Konark temple, during that period not a penny was spent for human welfare. Needless to say, the history of all countries is replete with such examples." (1)

In His above teaching, Baba points out how in the past the dogmatic religions spent their money on material pursuits such as the construction of the Konark temple, while the common people languished in utter poverty, half-naked and hungry. A similar state of affairs has befallen our AMPS where all emphasis is on material construction rather than a man-making mission.

#1: AMPS needs human beings.
#2: So many ashrams and MUs are empty - now AM needs human beings not buildings.
#3: Those donating to those buildings and types of construction etc are all fools.
#4: Because they are preparing those sites for non-margiis.
#5: Due to lack of occupancy by AMPS others will take over those buildings; that is what happened with the ashrams of other religions.
#6: In Bihar, Kabir followers had tens of thousands of MUs and now everything is occupied by Bhumihar.
#7: So remain alert we need humans.

Imaginary Figure Treated A Real One, God

“Many of you are aware of the fact that Ramchandra was not an historical figure, but a fictional one: he was an imaginary character to represent an ideal king. Maharśi Valmiki was the first person to give proper expression to that character. But the poet Tulsidas tried still harder, in the Mughal period, not very long ago, to accomplish this through the Rámacaritamánasa, written in the Avadhii language. The Rámacaritamánasa is not the complete Rámáyańa. Tulsidas described the character of Rama as he thought Rama should be; he delineated the character of Rama as he conceived of Rama in his own mind. Tulsidas was a truthful person. He did not name his book the Tulasiidásii Rámáyańa, he named it Rámacaritamánasa [“The Life of Rama As Conceived by Tulsidas”].” (Namah Shivaya Shantaya - All Bask in the Glory of Shiva – 1 (Discourse 6))
