Baba
Namaskár,
In the Prajiṋá Bhárati magazine, a highly objectionable sutra manufactured by Ac Samanvayananda Avt has been published along with its purported meaning. The sutra creates a misunderstanding. It says that even if someone has an intense desire for Brahma sádhaná, even then it is very difficult to get Sadguru. This is incorrect and contrary to Ánanda Márga ideology.
Dada Samanvayánanda gives the example of the rśis and munis of the past who had a strong longing for liberation, and still had to go through decades and decades of penance-- and even then they could not get a proper guru.

With intense desire one attains Sadguru
According to Ánanda Márga ideology, the intense desire for Brahma is the only requisite factor to achieve the Sadguru, who guides one to achieve Brahma. It is Brahma’s duty to guide one who has an intense desire to attain Him.
Muktyákáunkśayá sadgurupráptih (Sutra 3-8)
Purport: Out of the intense desire for mukti (liberation), one attains one’s sadguru or perfect master. (1)
The above is Sadguru Baba’s dharmic teaching from Ananda Sutra.
Only got dogmatic, fake guru
Unfortunately, Dada Samanvayánanda’s attempt is flawed and veers in the opposite direction of Baba’s guideline. Dádá Samanvayánanda’s sutra states that there have been so many cases in which the sadhaka had an earnest desire to achieve liberation but did not get the Sadguru Guru. Moreover, Dada Samanvayánanda claims that to get initiation those persons had to undergo decades of penance and still only got a fake guru. Thus, all of Dada ji’s preachings are contrary to the teachings of Ananda Marga ideology. Bábá teaches that it is guaranteed that Brahma will come before the aspirant as the Sadguru if the desire for liberation is earnest. So Dada Samanvayánanda’s approach is completely wrong and in conflict with Ánanda Márga teachings.

Dada Samanvayánanda claims that many rśis and munis of the past who had longing for liberation had to undergo decades of penance, but they could not get Sadguru. Instead they only got a dogmatic, fake guru. That is why Dada’s supposition is false and off the mark. As per Ánanda Márga ideology, sincere longing for liberation is the only factor needed for getting Sadguru.
Conclusion
The sutra manufactured by Dádá Samanvayánanda is incorrect, and the Prajiṋá Bhárati editors have wrongly equated Dádá Samanvayánanda’s so-called sutra with Ánanda Márga ideology. It is our duty to ensure all AM periodical and magazines properly and accurately reflect Baba’s teachings and do not stray from His timeless, eternal guidelines.

Fake gurus torture their disciples
There are many fake gurus who make their disciples go through terrible hardship and waste their precious time on this earth. A true Guru makes the best use of His disciple’s time and potential, as all His actions are for the welfare of the disciple.
