Baba
Deception by B group
Namaskar,
As Ananda Margiis, we are to abide by the codes outlined in Caryacarya. Unfortunately, B group’s mourning ceremony - i.e. annual death day gathering - is a complete contravention of Caryacarya on numerous fronts.

How Tiljala’s mourning ceremony is anti-Caryacarya
(A) Ananda Marga Caryacarya states, "The period of mourning should not extend beyond twelve days." (1)
In His above teaching, Baba guides us that the period of mourning is 12 days, yet, Tilajala has been mourning on a yearly basis for 29 years.
(B) Ananda Marga Caryacarya states, “Shráddhánna: Shráddhánna (food offered at a memorial service) is neither priityanna nor ápadanna, hence it is not to be taken.” (2)
In His above teaching, Baba guides us how it is forbidden to eat food at a death ceremony, yet every year Tiljala serves food and presents a feast at their mourning ceremony / wake for the last 29 years. Every Ananda Margii who eats food at that wake / mourning gathering is going against Baba’s strict order.
(C) B group has tainted Caryacarya part 1 by adding a bogus appendix about their mourning gathering. See the contradiction. Baba’s original Caryacarya states that the period of mourning is 12 days, while B group’s inserted appendix states that their mourning period will go on and on, indefinitely.
(D) B group engages in duplicity and deception by promoting kiirtana at their annual death ceremony. By this way they may lure attendees. But everyone should be extremely vigilant because by participating in that mourning program kiirtan you are directly supporting that cause.

Conclusion
For all these reasons and more, this mourning ceremony is a complete contravention of Caryacarya and the cult of bhakti. Click on the link below if you wish to see B group’s recent message calling for people to attend this event.
Everyone should beware because attending their mourning ceremony means supporting that cause and going against Baba’s guideline.
In Him,
Ratan Ganguli

Calling & inviting You
"Tomáre kari áhván,práńe práńe gáne gáne..." (Prabhat Samgiita #2184)
Purport:
Parama Purusa, I am invoking the Supreme, calling and inviting You with deep reverence and adoration and requesting Your presence by singing Your song with full heartfelt feeling. Please take Your advent before me. Lord, eternally Greatest among all, Ever-Illumined One, You are the source of everything and the Supreme sun. Just as the sun is the nucleus and source of energy for all of the planets, similarly everyone basks in Your divine radiance. Ever-Luminous Entity, You are the greatest among all. Please come within the canopy of my mind and in my meditation.
Baba, my Supreme Guide, with the spell of vanity-touched, jinana, karma meditation, You cannot be held. You cannot be bound by a silk thread, or the offering of gems and jewels. You can only be bound by the thread of love - the longing of bhakti. Parama Purusa, with Your celestial kindness You have bound this whole entire universe. My Nearmost, please come in my nidhidhyasana - and in my dhyana.
Grand Entity, with the strength of intellect, Your greatness cannot be illustrated, described, or narrated. With the splendor of smartness, Your glory cannot be sung. The human voice does not have the capacity to chant all the qualities. Before You, the logic, reasoning, and verbose, loquacious sermons of jinaniis and their tricks of language get pulverized. They fail to say anything. Baba, please come in my shravan and manan.
Parama Purusa, my Dearmost, please come in my sadhana and dhyana and grace me. Baba, I am calling You with my heartfelt feeling and deep bhakti...
Note for Prabhat Samgiita #2184:
[1] Shravan, Manan, & Niddhidhyasana: Here below Baba explains the special import of these three bhakti-cum spiritual practices.
Ananda Marga philosophy says, "To attain Him human beings have to take recourse to shravana (constantly hearing His name), manana (constantly ideating on Him) and nididya'sana (constantly meditating on Him). The Supreme Entity is Gurha, that is, He is lying hidden in the innermost recess of the human entity. To attain Him one must penetrate deep within oneself, and for that the development of an introversial outlook is essential." (1)

Introducing children to meditation
Ananda Marga Caryacarya states, “When children are five years old and attain some awareness, the parents, brothers, sisters or any guardian may initiate them in Náma Mantra [the preliminary process of meditation]. They should be taught to sit in padmásana [lotus posture], but instead of interlocking the fingers, they may rest one palm upon the other; and keep the spine erect. They will then be instructed to feel or imagine that everything around them, and whatever they visualize, is Brahma.” (1)
Note: Sometimes, unknowingly, parents or acaryas teach their children to do meditation in the wrong way by telling them to interlace or interlock their fingers. According to Guru’s guideline, children should learn the proper method of placing their palms on top of one another. Side by side, every child should learn meditation at the age of 5. Any delay in this regard in harmful. A child who starts practicing sadhana at the age of 5 all their potentialities will get scope to be developed properly. And they will remain under the shelter of Guru. So there should not be any procrastination in initiating children into the practice of meditation,
