Note: To maintain the sanctity of Ista, we have removed Baba’s image from the below photo. Now please read the below on a related issue.
Namaskar,
Sadguru Baba guides us that the key to success in the field of sadhana is having a pointed mind. Otherwise, one cannot progress in the spiritual realm. Not only that, Baba warns us of the harm of doing AM sadhana as well as worshipping imaginary, fictitious gods and goddesses. Decorating the puja table in this manner is counter-productive to bhakti.

Like standing on two moving buses
Now look what is going on below. The local Wt could not teaching him properly and that is why this sadhaka is confused.
On the right side of the below image, the puja table is filled with various mythological Hindu deities. Before coming into AM this person was worshipping all those imaginary deities. And when he became a sadhaka, the Wt who gave him initiation told him to do AM sadhana and follow those Hindu deities also. But doing this is very dangerous - it is like standing on the roof of two independent buses at the same time while moving down the highway.
The central idea is that after coming on the path of tantra sadhana one should give up their old ways of religious practice like doing namaz, prayer, reading the torah, or chanting Hanuman chalisa etc. Only one should do sadhana with a focused mind, then success is sure. But unfortunately, see below how the exact opposite is going on.

How to ruin bhakti
Below Baba is giving example how to ruin bhakti.
Sadguru Baba says, "A person whom I was very close to, a relative of mine, used to recite the following after taking bath: “Victory to mother Káli, victory, victory to Káli, victory to mother Káli of T́han T́haniá, victory to mother Káli of Dakśińeshvar, victory to Bábá Táraknáth, victory to Bábá Vaidyanath of Deoghar. O, Fathers! None of you should think that I am leaving out someone's name.” After this he would say, “O, gods and goddesses, please forgive me if I have omitted any name inadvertently. Please assume that I have mentioned your name also.” Does this yield anything at all? One says “victory to mother Káli of Kálighát” and in the same breath one says “victory to mother Káli of T́han T́haniá.” It signifies that the mind is moving both towards Kálighát and T́han T́haniá. Can the mind become concentrated in this way? Certainly not." (1)
It is not possible to have deep love for two entities; bhakti is exclusive and means love to God. If someone is trying to cultivate bhakti with many deities then they are on the wrong path. But that is what is going on in the above image because the Wt could not properly teach this new sadhaka.
This crude example will make the point clear. If a person has an extramarital affair it means that person has lost their high degree of attraction for their own spouse. That is why if that spouse finds out it results in divorce, or even murder. Verily, such things happen everyday because one can only have deep attachment for one person. If a husband has wandering eyes and fancies other women then that wife will kick him out and get rid of him. Similar things happen in the field of bhakti.
Ultimately, sadhana has to be done in a focused manner and give up all those mythological things.
